Appeasement

In this great and “so far” unconquered country, we have great structures idyllic to the people who love this country, (monuments, buildings, bridges, dams), which should be protected for now and for history. Those of us who have had the pleasure of traveling the George Washington Bridge were disturbed to learn that the guards, whose only job it was to be alert, were caught sleeping several times. I bet they would have awaken if a terrorist had blown up the bridge. There is a remarkable story behind every well known bridge in America, Brooklyn, San Francisco, Lake Ponchartrain. The country grieved just 8 years ago at the blowing up of the World Trade Center, symbolic of American capitalism, hated by the Totalitarian world. We would grieve at the destruction of the Washington or Lincoln monuments. Every symbol of Americana, whether physical or spiritual is precious to the passionate patriot.

Satan is the great appeaser. From 1799 to 1892, the Supreme Court declared this nation a Christian nation. Satan has so appeased the Christian Church that the Christian and secular citizen no longer looks upon the church with any reverence at all. Church leaders, such as Wesley or even Bishop Sheen must turn in their grave, to learn of the lackadaisical Gnosticism affecting todays congregations, same sex marriage, homosexuals in the pulpit, political-spiritual expediency.

The millions of children of Israel marched around the fortress city of Jericho, once a day for seven days. God had instructed that not one sound would come from these Jews. There were no port-a-potties at that time, no deodorants, just the law of God and the faith for which they had been well-disciplined in the desert. On the 7th day, when they went around the city walls 7 times, and when the walls fell, they had been instructed to kill everything that was inside the walls that was alive, except for Rahab and her family. They were not to “cherry pick” the wealth of the city. But, one man, Achan, yielding to temptation took a Babylonian robe, silver and gold and buried these things in his tent. During the next battle, taking a much smaller city, 36 men were killed and God told Joshua that there was “sin in the camp”. This led to the killing of Achan and his family. Individual sin is one thing. But national sin is something else. In national sin, everyone suffers, the just and the unjust.

Is there anyone in America stupid enough to believe that this nation, so blessed of God, will not be judged by God. The just as well as the unjust will suffer. I speak of the killing of 1.3 million innocent babies in the abortion holocaust, the incredulous taxation of hardworking men and women to pay the national debt, brought on by the unconscionable politicians and Wall Street accomplices who had rather satisfy their own greed, lust for power, and the life of the rich and famous, rather than principles which are held high by the banner of liberty. It has already been learned, after the fact, that SCC and other government regulators were well aware of Madoff's scam of his investors, as with so many things, his employees and others did not want to get involved. For most of we peasants, IRS and SCC are busy looking over our ledgers and they catch any little mistake.

With such legislation as being passed in Massachusetts, the most liberal state, you can expect to lose all your privacy, all your freedom, even in your own home.

The Massachusetts Senate has unanimously passed a pandemic flu preparation bill that has languished in the Legislature before the recent swine flu outbreak.

The 36-0 vote today sends the measure to the House. Both branches have taken it up in past years, but have not been able to agree on the details.

The new Senate version would allow the public health commissioner — in a public health emergency — to close or evacuate buildings, enter private property for investigations, and quarantine individuals.

The bill specifically mandates the following:

(1) to require the owner or occupier of premises to permit entry into and investigation of the premises;
(2) to close, direct, and compel the evacuation of, or to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated any building or facility, and to allow the reopening of the building or facility when the danger has ended;
(3) to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated, or to destroy any material;
(4) to restrict or prohibit assemblages of persons;
(5) to require a health care facility to provide services or the use of its facility, or to transfer the management and supervision of the health care facility to the department or to a local public health authority;
(6) to control ingress to and egress from any stricken or threatened public area, and the movement of persons and materials within the area;
(7) to adopt and enforce measures to provide for the safe disposal of infectious waste and human remains, provided that religious, cultural, family, and individual beliefs of the deceased person shall be followed to the extent possible when disposing of human remains, whenever that may be done without endangering the public health;
(8) to procure, take immediate possession from any source, store, or distribute any anti-toxins, serums, vaccines, immunizing agents, antibiotics, and other pharmaceutical agents or medical supplies located within the commonwealth as may be necessary to respond to the emergency;
(9) to require in-state health care providers to assist in the performance of vaccination, treatment, examination, or testing of any individual as a condition of licensure, authorization, or the ability to continue to function as a health care provider in the commonwealth. (Massachusetts Bill 2028)

Such legislation as this should scare every American to death. You can be sure that future laws will enable law enforcement or others to enter your house and search it for anything, such as your medicine cabinets, weapons, gold or silver coins, even the type food in your refrigerator, since the research has already been done for the number of calories it takes to sustain life and the fact that social services will be mandated not to support the eating habits of obese people.

In the new Health Care legislation proposed by Obama care, charges have been thrown against insurance companies for ripping off the public. May I ask who is responsible for regulating the insurance companies? Let me assure you that having worked as a military medical officer in army hospitals, having witnessed the lackadaisical attitude in the VA facilities, only a “dumbed down” populous would turn the security and the privacy of their personal health care over to the government. And, as I have reported nationwide when my driver and I found two police officers searching my house after they had broken in through the back door, without warrant or reason. You can expect the same. As a radio talk show activist, I had been very critical of law enforcement. I am convinced they were in my house trying to find something with which to embarrass me.

We have rapidly become a police state country. In traveling through 157 countries of the world, those that are police state or communist, without fail, always have large photographs of the nations leader hanging in every public building and square. Mr. Obama is already considered to be a “god” by some, he is on the news constantly. I do not cease to be astonished how the liberal organizations, arts counsels, MPR, black political groups, ACLU, academics, etc., all become propaganda outlets for the liberal political machines. These groups so prop up the democrat party in direct expectations for party favors. Representative government has nothing to do with their actions. These liberal groups just want the security of being “first in line”.

The British government knows full well that there Cayman Islands serve as tax havens for wealthy tax dodgers in Europe and the USA. But like Madoff, Rangel, Giethner, Daschel, and the many others who have thrown overboard principals for power, they sincerely believe that the law only applies to the small tax payer, not them. God had to only say it once, it was sufficient in describing greed “the love of money is the root of all evil.” (1 Timothy 6:10)

You may appease Satan and his minions, but it is far, far more important to bring pleasure to God.

Selah

In the Old Testament, particularly in the Psalms, we often find the word “Selah”. A difficult word to translate, it is believed to mean “think of it”. I think many times, the Jews, completely enthralled and thrilled by the law...its prophecy, its promises...just wanted to magnify the exuberance. The Jews, the only civilization in the world to be given God's law by which to live, unlike the Christians who were given the “Holy Spirit” of God by which to live.

Truth does not conform to our comfort zone. It was not Potiphar or Potiphar's wife, but rather the truth and the morality of Joseph, that made the difference. I believe that when this 17 year old boy was sold into slavery by his own brothers, the very iron shackles which held him by his slave masters until he was sold in Egypt, immunized him with character and God endowed morality which made him, in every way, a hero in the history of the world. God had his hand on Joseph in preparing him and preserving him. In the 400 year enslavement of his people we often forget that it is the Jewish Nation we study in the Bible. We, gentiles, are only important in our relationship to the Jewish people. Surely, anyone with two brain cells still functioning, knows that all you have to do is use the three letters J-E-W to prove everything anyone needs to know about God, God's existence, the history and prophecy of the Universe. Mr. Obama, with all his Islamic education, his Muslim friends, his radical Alinsky, Muslim and Marxist ideology cannot, and will not, change anything pertaining to Israel or Judaism. The Bushes, Prescott, senator and cohort of Hitler, 41 and 43, pedigreed RINOs of deceit, disclaimed Catholics, Kennedys, Pelosi, Biden, Rangel, Geithner, etc., will know there is a “payday” someday.

At best, life is very short here on this Earth. These pretenders are convinced that driving a $100,000 car to a $10 million home, hobnobbing with the power brokers at cocktail parties, using gold playing cards on Air Force One, is more important than even the concept of “Streets of Gold”, knowing that lying, cheating and stealing, behind the curtain, is more satisfaction than integrity. President Kennedy went to the White House with, I believe, purity of purpose but, when he looked behind the curtain and saw the garbage, attempted to change things, and we know what happened to him, a bullet in the head. Orchestrated, Lyndon Johnson, took over things for the puppeteers of the world, and even if it meant lying to the public about the Gulf of Tonkin, the wars only grew. Eisenhower had warned, honest, had seen war, knew the decadence of the military-industrial complex...the very structure that then, as now, fills so many greedy pockets. Forget Christ, who came to give peace. From his birth to his death, Christ proclaimed peace. We have a war on poverty , a war on drugs, a war on terror. Have we won any of them? Poverty, illegal drugs, terror, all worsen with each day.

There is no such thing as a secure database. The DMV, in every state, is the chief offender. The government knows more about your business than you do...every bank transaction...every securities transaction...every real estate transaction...and the banks, the government, the IRS (now asking many questions which you should not answer, particularly on the census), just ready to relieve you of your property, a war on Americans.

We have sown to the wind and we have reaped a whirlwind (Hosea 8:7). Disclosures of your most private information, credit cards, insurance policies, military service, loan applications, it did not take an airport scanner to strip us naked.

Twice in my life I was on Gorée Island, where African slaves were auctioned before being sent into the Western hemisphere, I saw the small, dungeon cubicles. In Venice, Italy, I have walked across the “Bridge of Sighs” (Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice) where the prisoners glimpse their last view of beautiful Venice before execution. The Roman Empire possessed greatness beyond words to describe, all the way to England and Scandinavia, before absolute paganism took over. Emperor Nero, 64 A.D., to give his garden light at night, burned Christians hanging on poles. Are we heading in the same direction, a new war on Christianity?

Identity theft is the fastest growing crime...people wanting other's things rather than making preparations for themselves. One day on my front porch, a friend called my attention to an ant who was carrying a seed three times larger than the ant. After telling me about this, he just went over and stepped on the ant. I quoted a verse of scripture to him, which is like many of you who do not appreciate scripture, “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:” (Proverbs 6:6). Ants are always busy, always working, always preparing for the future. They have a quiet, consistent form of government. “Think of it,” the ant is the smallest insect, look in the microscope, the smallest microbiology, many just one cell bacteria, think of clostridium botulinuma one cell organism that can cause catastrophe or even death. Cancer begins with just one diabolical cell. "Think of it", how many people do you know with cancer?

Of greatest value to a politician is name recognition, them, like other celebrities, they do not want to be recognized. Like Greta Garbo, I just want to be left alone.

Money is no longer a matter of exchange. It is a matter of popularity (Howard Stern gets $500 million), it is a matter of political corruption (Senator Landrieu got $300 million), it is a matter of political patronage (retired Senator Cohen from Maine who recieved $200,000 for a 30 minute speech at UNCW while, to my certain knowledge, students there, are flat on their face trying to pay the exhorbitant charges). We asked the question, why do politicians spend millions to get elected to offices which pay just a fraction of what it costs them to get there. Henry Kissenger, Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, Colin Powell, etc., men who clubbed their way to the top are paid millions of dollars each year just for sitting on a board of trustees or for making a speech. "Think of it", a veterans hospital, a nursing home, a military or public cemetery, veterans, parents, people of no notoriety who gave so much.

Don't confuse accomplishment with celebrity...don't confuse money with payment, gratitude, generosity. Almost every day of my life someone calls and certainly I get a letter, wanting money...political party, pro-life, Church or Christian college. Yesterday, I took the time to lecture a pro-life caller. I was taking a nap when the phone rang. I said to her, "You are going about this the wrong way. All of you think that money will solve your problems. You will never speak to a more pro-life person than me, but instead of always asking me for money, write me a letter telling me about your efforts and if I am led to send you money by the Holy Spirit of God, I will do so. You have someone on your side more powerful than money."

When will the politicians, the do-gooder organizations, forget these campaign planners who direct their efforts. Money is not the solution to America's problems. Surely we have learned this in "throwing money" at wars, buying corrupt officials, buying corrupt foreign governments ($10 million goes to Israel and $10 million goes to Egypt each day). When will we learn that money has not improved education, not improved health care, not eliminated poverty, not improve anything which happens at the Church house, the Courthouse, the State House, or the White House.

Every intelligence expert in the world will tell you that Mr. Obama bought a cheap forgery birth certificate, a cheap forgery selective service certificate. He and his wife paid plenty for cheap, forgery social security numbers. Like cheap hookers who charge much, many learned the expense of cheapness.

Orwellian Obamaism

The year I graduated from high school, 1948, George Orwell famed British writer wrote the book 1984. In this book, he described what life in America would be like in 1984, 36 years from 1948. In 2010, 26 years beyond 1984, we have seen every one of his predictions fulfilled and worse. He predicted that we would all be slaves of the state, under complete control of government. Under Orwellian Obamaism, any freedom, privacy or security we have left is being removed. The world has become a cauldron of lies, thievery, and corruption. Sometime, for your own information, just turn the dial on your radio and listen to the commercials. Those not totally false are politically correct come-ons. The alphabet news networks have become fringe bastions of indoctrination. If you get any correct or credible news commentary at all, it will be on a blog or one of the lesser sources.

In outer Mongolia, on the edge of the Gobi Desert, in a small village, I talked with a peace corp worker named Martha. Martha, from the Western part of America, had been in Mongolia for several months. She said, “the men here are mostly interested in their animals. I am concerned about the mothers and children. It is a matter of daily survival, hard to appeal to the heart, when the stomachs are empty. You see with these innocent people what communism can do to the minds of human beings who have been fed nothing but empty promises of a better life.”

This week the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show is taking place in Las Vegas. Such “whoopee” as 3-D televisions to Blu-Ray players are the talk of the arena. For one reared in a community where there was only one telephone in a country store for miles around it is hard for me to get excited about the new cellphone on which you can make the usual telephone calls, listen to a great library of music, take still photos and record video, and can watch television as well as operate your computer. In other words, with a small hand held telephone you can carry on everything about a business or social life except the preparation of food. Even Orwell would have had difficulty thinking of this. More important however is the fact that in the “New World Order” the government knows more about your business than you do, your habits, every time you search for anything even your personal communication. In traveling, particularly by plane, you have given up privacy for security and now have neither as you face full body scanning (the last act of public humiliation, even God replaced the fig leaves of Adam and Eve with skins to cover their nakedness) your nakedness is now a matter of public inspection. With the ID bracelet with which you can be tased your enslavement is complete. Even Orwell could not have believed such.

Already, in many places, the microchip is being inserted into the human body much like it has been done with animals for many years. (In Manhattan recently, mothers stood in line with children for microchip invasion because the mother was paid $25) In animals, the microchip has been the direct cause of much cancer. In my lifetime, we have seen rare diseases become epidemic. In the past 50 years 25% of all nutrition has escaped from food. If food grown in any soil needed natural elements by the time it reaches the market, after having been picked green, it has lost all nutrition. Orwell predicted that we would be eating mostly trash... almost the same nutrition as eating plastic. Genetic engineering and the influence of factory farming lobbyists can be blamed for the epidemic of diabetes. The body is hungry for needed nutrition. We eat, but the body is not satisfied and so we become obese by over eating the wrong things. Today, only 2% of the population is involved in farming. Government regulators, Obama overseers, have forced the small farmer out of business and made it next to impossible for anyone to grow anything with nutritive value.

In this country there are 33,000 wild horses grazing on public lands. The herd doubles each 4 years. The Bureau of Land Management, BLM, with instructions from Mr. Obama has decided to round up these wild horses. Helicopters are being used flying just above the ground to herd these animals into corrals where they are separated, the old horses facing death, the young horses being trained for service of some sort. A large part of this is being done in the state of Nevada. It reminds us of the activity in Washington with the new “health care reforms”. Same thing, government agents on helicopters or other judicial vehicles, the elderly being separated from the young in determining life or ability. My friend Martha, in Mongolia, told me that most of the elderly in this communist, collectivist, authoritarian society are not worth the governments' time or expense, so they just die.

When traveling around the arctic circle, I found that the Inuit (Eskimos) when they are aged and infirmed, and were determined to have little value left, were just put on an ice floe, put out to sea and left for disposal by the animals. In Africa, their aged and infirmed were left isolated in the jungle for disposal by the animals.

Once, in the Kalahari of Botswana I saw an aged elephant just fall over. The young elephants of the herd did not seem to care but the old elephants (I understand this is expected) all surrounded the downed elephant and tried to get her up until they found that she was lifeless. Then, they began a slow requiem dirge, walking around the dead elephant in a slow lament. I understand that later they leave knowing that the wild animals of the game preserve will dispose of the deceased. Often the herd will come back to examine the bones.

Someone told me recently to be less pessimistic in my commentary. Perhaps some can afford the new technology found in telephones and televisions (the blind can use neither) if only human nature had so advanced. Traveling the world, an inspector of human nature from one continent to another, I have seen the ugly as well as the beauty. Life is such a banquet, but so many are starving to death.

Over 5000 years ago, God described ungrateful people as stiff-necked, and we know what happened to them. For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiff-necked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee (Exodus 33:5). Orwellians like the Obama followers do not believe in God nor have any fear of God. In Dante's Inferno, at the entrance to hell, there is a sign which reads, “Last Chance”.
