The writer, commentator, Gore Vidal, died last night at age 86. He did not pretend to be anything other than what he was- an unabashed, homosexual writer. Before him, perversion had been cloaked in a camouflage of normality. Only those who could decode-speculate and the reader must indulge in mystical imagination. He opened the door, gave credibility, to express any type foibles of human nature. It is because of writers like Vidal that every type decadence has come out of the closet, unashamedly put on paper. No one has to guess about anything anymore. The lid off the garbage can of human degradation, open for all to explore...a panorama showing human debris, mixed in with a paper traits of human existence.

This writer has been exposed to life in the raw at every level, all over the world. The university professors want everyone self indulgent in the deceit of abnormal behavior. Erskine Caldwell's tobacco road was not charming to those who have known the poverty-physical, psychological and spiritual of those who known the reality of tobacco roads. Most of us seek a higher level of humanity appreciation. We want to know the layers of the galaxies of this universe and that creator-God can actually be interested in us. (Weak, frail, inept) It is rewarding to know that the heavens fell for Deborah (Judges 5:4), that the sun stood still for Joshua (Joshua 10:13), and that Gehazi, Elijah's servant's eyes were open so he could see the fiery chariots of the Lord. There is no room for speculation in Christianity. Even before Jesus' arrest, and Peter gallantly cutting off the ear of Malchus' servant, Jesus reattaching the ear, settling forever the omnipotence of God when he assured his disciples there in the garden that 12 legions of angels could come and protect him (150,000 soldiers). Just think, arresting a man who could instantly heal a "butchered ear." I feel sure Peter was aiming for the throat, mystery of the ages, how he sliced off the ear without touching other anatomy.

Jonah found out that God is in charge, thinking that he was escaping, down in the ship of sleep. What were the chances that a large fish would be available to swallow him and regurgitate him near the place that God had intended for him to go? (Neniveh, today, Mosul, Iraq) This writer has walked the Galapagos Islands and knows the mythology of Darwinism. In the panorama of God's creation, whales-birds-all fauna life, why would anyone spend their entire life speculating-guessing-testing the boundaries of human investigation, attempting to disprove God.

God's book is the answer book, the source book of all knowledge. "Why do the heathen rage? and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying], Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision" (Psalm 2:1-4).

Near the South Pole, this writer was amazed at the great whales, water rising from the blowholes of their gigantic bodies. Captain Ahab of Moby Dick, was indeed a brave man.

All avian species have very specific feathers and bone structure. From the paramecium to God's crowning glory of creation, homo-sapiens, don't question or mess around with God's magnificent designs. The challengers, whether Ingersoll or Hitchens, unqualified to understand or even explain photosynthesis or the clotting of blood.

Only God knows the end as well as the beginning of the parade. Meer mortals always look backwards. We can best associate with a scoundrel such as the Old Testament, Jacob. Jacob, the father of the tribes of the Jewish race, grandson of Abraham, the first Jew, a momma's boy, cheating his blind father Isaac, met in a wrestling match with God before his life was straightened out. Then, he was ready to understand his place in the world. Today's Christians have no idea of their blessedness in being chosen by God for eternal life. God gave special significance to his panorama in the universe by calling it host (Genesis 2:1). Twice in the Psalm 46: 7-11, "Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge."

Brave New World, Aldous Huxley 1931 book is based on H.G. Wells book, Men Like Gods. When we look at today's newspaper headlines, we think of Gomer Pyle “Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!” We are living in the brave new world, with men, particularly in our nations capital, who think they are Gods ... Too good for hard work, too smart for anything except corruption ... physically beautiful men are attracted only to other men ... women are attracted only to other women. In Lyndon Johnson's administration, his assistant Jenkins, was caught in a gay situation at the YMCA. Now, its seems that most elected and non-elected are coming out of the close t... Almost, putting Barney Frank on the sidelines.

Every advance in the homosexual agenda comes with a loss of liberty. With a Democrat dominated administration in congress owing election to their gay constitutes and sympathizers of gays. (Second largest voting block, next to blacks, unmarried single women who want government, not husbands, to support their children. 40% of all children now born to single mothers.)

The new law adds acts of violence against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people to the list of federal hate crimes. Gay rights activists voiced hope that the Obama administration would advance more issues, including legislation to bar workplace discrimination, allow military service and recognize same-sex marriages.
In a signing ceremony in the White House East Room, Obama said that the gay rights protections represented a ``long-awaited change'' that would protect people who are victimized because of ``who they love . . . or who they are.''

Now, an employer must except for work, in his place of business, a male wearing a dress and heels. Now, according to last weeks court ruling involving gays and lesbians in hospitals there can be visitation by carrying a card that shows their domestic-partner registration. Now, Obama has appointed Amanda Simpson as a senior technical adviser to the Department of Commerce, making her the first transgender appointment of his administration.

My friend, Dr. Dennis Cuddy, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, author of Road to Socialism and New World Order. Said recently, “Two and a half years before the Germans were defeated in World War II the Nazi's were going underground, to lay the eggs for another war.” Dr. Cuddy believes, as in 1919 with professors and scientist objectives of a “New World Order” will continue. Perhaps this is the reason I was taught mathematics by Dr. Alfred Brauer, at Chapel Hill, who taught the German Army the projection of rockets fired at England. Perhaps you can remember President George H.W. Bush speaking of the “New World Order” before a joint session of Congress on March 6, 1991?

I was still in the hospital, resulting from military service, in 1968, height of the Vietnam Conflict. When the first realization of the “New World Order”, our being dragged into one conflict after another with all the perils involved, first alarmed me. The last 40 years, we have seen a takeover of this democratic republic, incrementally, unmistakably, by a dictatorial, tyrannical “New World Order”. There are 3 essential revelations about man: his creation, his arrogance, his forgiveness. Read the first chapters of God's word, any other secular book, there can be no doubt about creation. I do not want anyone, who calls himself a “Christian”, to tell me that he believes in evolution - CREATION, abortion, gay-marriage, or that he is a member of the democrat party.

Mans ARROGANCE is shown at the Tower of Babel, a few hundred years after the great flood of 4790 BC. (Noah had lived to the age of 950 years old, many of his heirs were still around, still defector-rebels, knowing the power of God, wanting to reach god by building a tower upward. Because of the arrogance, God confused their languages, from then until now, men unable to understand the vocabulary of one another.

Western civilization has been built around the gospel permeating these societies and cultures. Men are still in rebellion, thinking they can “out think” God.

Stephen Hawkings world renown British physicist whose scientific research has spanned over 40 years, still trying to explain the universe. Hawkings, in a chair, totally immobilized by Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS) can only communicate by 7mm movement of one finger. Now to estimate this distance, the inter papillary distance between two human eyes is 70 mm. So awesome is the God given brain of this physicist, he can comprehend pages of calculations and return to one minor error pages before.

The FORGIVENESS of God can only be estimated by his power to forgive the doubts of Hawkings the deciduous of the power brokers, promoters of a “New World Order” in this most blessed country. Only a forgiving God will look kindly on sexually confused people who try to keep a foot in both worlds... The world of perversion and the world of piety and promises.

In my life time, particularly in the past 40 years America is forgetting its ascendency... In Richmond ... God given blessings.

How will I remember, our first electric lights. Our electric bill was only $1 a month. The power company came by to see if something was wrong. My mother said, “We only use the light after it gets real dark.” There were no appliances with gratitude, the electric light had penetrated the darkness or our world. When will light penetrate the darkness of this new world ... Which is not brave ... not in order.

Alchemy

A CIA agent visited me at my house. He had heard me on the radio and called telling me that he would just like to meet me and visit with me for a few minutes. He was totally astonished at my book collection...because he loved books. He was more emphatic with his appreciation because of my total blindness. I told him then, as I tell you now, I like to be surrounded with books. I like the feel of them because any person who knows how to read, and who can use a dictionary, has all the knowledge of the world at his fingertips. It is simply a matter of using your time wisely to read and study. I have little patience with individuals, adult or otherwise, who spend their life in front of an idiot box called a television set. Don't you realize that these programs are not real...they are manufactured to captivate you...to extort from you all reality of imagination, decency, motivation? You think that visually you are getting a cheap high...letting alchemists of degeneracy infect and warp your mind leaving you none the better for your experience. It is molestation of the worst sort, a rape of the intellect to watch the stench or triviality portrayed so convincingly...often silly maturated, literary hi jinx that in the long run leave you less than what you were before you saw the activity.

In reading good books there is a methodological stability of learning first from the eyes which receive the impulses from the page then through the optic nerves to the cochrane cortex of the brain...knowledge forever stored, brought back in recollection. Of all the historic sciences, alchemy is the oldest probably, 3000 years before the birth of Christ, first in Mesopotamia then in about every civilization...Persian, Egyptian, Chinese etc. There were those who practiced and studied as alchemists...seeking for their own knowledge and imparting their knowledge to others, knowledge they had redeemed from life and everything affecting life. The Greek and Roman civilizations were punctuated by brilliant minds who wanted more than just the ordinary. Within their reasoning abilities they sought for answers to the questions of earth and human existence.

The alchemist's wisdom was manifest not just in their knowledge of life's objectives but in conjuring up elixirs and other minerals and metals of interest both from a healing and helping parameter. It is from the helping aspects of this pseudo-science that many systems were developed and it is from the healing aspects that the materia medica which we now call pharmaceuticals, have developed.

Gold and silver were already known to be precious metals and a feeble attempt was made to create such. This was the beginning of organic and inorganic chemistry. Using weird combinations of herbs, plants, fire and water...probably the birth of medicine. Standing at Oxford University is a statue of Roger Bacon, one of the first alchemists who was born, probably around 1214. Bacon introduced the scientific method or empirical knowledge to the academic curriculum. Until this very day, the scientific method projects that any theory must be subjected to scrutiny and that others must, with the same experiment, get the same results. It was Bacon who introduced “peer review” and, with the honesty of the Catholic Church, the fact that he was a Friar of the church, he so introduced spirituality into the human concept of learning.

The inner life of a man is much greater than the outer life of a man. The vertical aspects of life are just as great as the horizontal aspects of human living. Though a member of the genus homo-sapiens, man is the only animal who knows he is going to die. Man is blessed by his creator, made by the sovereignty of God (Psalm 139). An individual, unlike any other, who has ever lived, your own distinct facial and body characteristics, your own distinct voice, your own distinct iris flex in your eye, fingerprints and soul. Like the masterful handy work of every snowflake that has ever fallen, designed by God, you are your own person and your inner life is greater than your outer life. Your DNA, your personality, your physiology, determines your life. Within yourself, you are your own alchemist, certainly with divine perceptions, prepared to run the race set before you.

Within your mind, you have a relationship with your creator that pagan man cannot understand. One book, and one book only, when you open it, the Bible, it is like opening the mind of God...the creator of the universe...the one who threw the very stars into space, who has them individually named...the one who holds the oceans of the world within his hands...the one who measures the height of the Himalayas with his fingers...the one who gave the exact measurements of the gold “Ark of the Covenant” to his “chosen” people...and who had previously given the measurements of another ark of deliverance, the ark which Noah built using the measurements given him by god, measurements which are still used in ship building until this very day.

How men cheat themselves by not having a personal relationship with heir creator. Religionists cannot understand this relationship...they can understand keeping a few laws, rules or regulations. They cannot understand the freedom of inner thought any more than they can understand how and why religious people stoned Stephen, but just before Stephen died, the sky opened up and he saw the one who had created him.

In all my world travels, there is no city in the world as interesting as the city of Rome. I thought of what it must have been like when the apostle Paul finally reached it. Paul, an old man, imprisoned in a cistern, but from that prison came some of the most remarkable information the world has ever known...divinely inspired. His hand held onto parchment by the very one who had knocked him off his horse on the road to Damascus and then, instead of killing Christians, became the expositor of the church, writing 14 books of the New Testament. Such is the saint's delight in knowing personally the creator of the universe (John 1).

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? (Psalm 8:4)

To the Progenitors of Charles Darwin on the 200th anniversary of his birth( Feb 12 1809), I dedicate this episode of reality because you should have learned long ago that the atheist and the protagonist of his cause should have given up the lie. Perhaps never in the history of man has attenuated such a myth as the obscure theory of evolution. Medical student Darwin ran out of his first real challenge of anatomical study when the limb of a patient was being amputated without anesthesia which had not been discovered. It is believed that one of the discoverers of anesthesia, but the specific discoverer of anesthesia has not been ascertained even by the US congress in 1849. So, Darwin gave up medicine and became (which is debatable) the worlds most known naturalist. He attached himself to captain Robert Fitzroy aboard the HMS Beagle on a voyage across the Atlantic and around the cape of Good Hope that lasted 5 years during which he made his famous studies at the Galapagos islands which this writer has visited of the cost of Ecuador.

When I was a boy, one of my many chores on the farm was assisting my father in the castration of pigs. I’m sure, after I went to college, my brothers assumed that distasteful job. The male pigs were never the same after the surgery. In the movies, we have all seen the branding of cattle with a hot branding iron and we can assume the cattle were never the same after this procedure.

The Atheist scientist, still tries to line up the chief creation of god’s handiwork with such animals as these void of soul and human genome that makes our scientific molecular structure. The ontogeny which they hope recapitulates phylogeny. They even confuse the Austrian priest Mendal who did early work with peas and flowers and is known as the father of genetics affording him a place in this evolution myth. With the discovery in 1953 of DNA by James D. Watson of Chicago and Francis H. C. Crick of Cambridge, I thought once and for all much of this theory on evolution would be put to rest. After all, Darwin’s 1859 book has the title “On the Origin of Species By Means of Natural Selection, or, the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life” which was mostly a racist exposition by a man who had never seen a microscope or telescope and who’s biological knowledge was rudimentary at best.

In the Galapagos where I have visited the 3700 mile Rift Valley through central Africa was first discovered by John Walter Gregory (which I have visited and actually met Mary Leakey, archaeologist and anthropologist, before she died in 1996). I yield to a much superior mind, Dr. Henry Morris who said “It is impossible to devise a scientific experiment to describe the creation process, or even to ascertain whether such a process can take place. The Creator does not create at the whim of a scientist." A Christian, a child of god filled with his holy spirit is not required by god to defend his knowledge of science or his faith which we believe to be a verb defined as action supported by belief and confidence.

The millions of American tax dollars expended by non believers in an effort to establish a big bang, to convince students that they come from the “goo to the zoo, to you” continues to be a process of useless activity. All the answers of life have been given to us in gods word “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!” (Psalms 8 3-9).

In every high school and college graduation address I have given even before some atheist who thought they knew it all I never hesitated to say that the eternal world can be summed up in five words “he made the stars also.” No list of university doctorates, not one of the many books written on evolution have ever disproved these five words and, I always say to every audience “you need to spend time rejoicing in your belief and no time dwelling on the doubts of the heathen.” Every university student is always exposed to an atheist faculty member who takes pleasure in trying to reduce his faith. Fames zoologist Dr. Claybourne Jones who taught me at UNCCH “hold on to your faith.” The only thing this university professors have to look forward to is a bitter lonely, helpless life here on earth and unspeakable eternity. The believer has the joy of redemption and the security of knowing, as did Joshua “No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5).

The resurrection of our blessed lord is the most important and definite fact of history. Those who knew him best, hi disciples, weak as they were knew this power as immediately after his ascension. They left for various parts of the world, Telling of the “good news”. Only one who has traveled across the Himalayas as I have who has spent as much time in India as I have, can understand the disciple Thomas going all the way to India, “spreading the gospel” until he was killed in the city of Chennai near the city Madras.

Bartholomew, tradition says was flayed and crucified upside down in Armenia. Mark, near Alexandria Egypt, was tied and dragged around town until he was dead. Peter, in Rome, was crucified upside down because he was not worthy to be crucified as Jesus was. Paul, in Rome, (writer of 14 of the 27 books of the New Testament) was beheaded in the reign of roman Emperor Nero “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. And others had trial of cruel mocking and scourging, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented” (Hebrews 11).

These disciples of Christ who witnessed his resurrection did not have any way to communicate with each other (the telephone was not put into the white house until 1877) they could have deserted the memory of our blessed lord just as the list of martyr in Hebrew 11. Faith gave them the strength of a powerful testimony.

Let the heathen rage, leave them with their doubts and fears, and their theories on evolution. The verse of scripture which changed my life long ago and is still the guiding light of this totally blind veteran “Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them” (Psalms 84:5).
