Darwinian Segregation

I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord,
Over mountain or plain or sea;
I'll say what you want me to say, dear Lord;
I'll be what you want me to be.

Mary Brown

Truth is not new, the Gospel is not new, and, in the bottomless ocean of technology, people still want truth. Basic truth, we came from God and we are going back to Him. There is a very thin line which separates the saved from the unsaved, those who trust in God and those who do not. I often wonder which side many are on, it is hard to tell the difference... language, dress, attitudes, values. I have known so many innocent Christians, check list Christians, they don't do this, they do do that. Most have never known the true joy and mercy of God. Too many Christians, too many churches are like the giant locomotive, so powerful, so full of steam, only powerful when some mere man with a grease can lubricates just the right part.

This writer "can produce" relatives who could shout-stomp-waive limbs at a ball game, but were so completely emotionless at the church when hearing the greatest news in the world preached. In one stale-staid "mainline" church here in this city, one old lady became so filled with the spirit of God, one Sunday morning, after a great anthem and great sermon, she finally could not control herself any longer and just came out with the words "Praise God." An usher came to her and said, "We do not do that here."

For many years, Martha represented UNC-CH, attracting alumni in their giving towards the great school. She is responsible for all of the wonderful articles written about me, emanating from Chapel Hill. We had many wonderful conversations over lunch. The last time she was here, she had infiltrated gang activity in the city of Durham, attempting to bring the Christian message to gang members. The last words I ever heard from Martha, "Tom, God loves those gang members just as much as He loves you." I know that God loves gang members just as He loves government workers, but God loves me more because I trust Him and show my trust by my life, in my life, my habits, my faith in His marvelous grace.

One lawyer told me that gang tattoos do not seduce a jury. Religious tattoos do not influence God. All Christians should be weeping in the valley of tears for gang members, abortionists, and a broken culture-profane mankind who have brought "despite" (contempt) to the spirit of grace. "Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews, 10:29).

Often, when in a hotel, eating alone, this world traveler will be invited over to another person's table. One night, Switzerland, an older couple invited me to their table to join them. Later she said, "I know you think at our age we have been married for a long time... but we are newly weds. We both lost our companions and we are now happily married." BUT, the husband said, "We were taught that Jesus was the only perfect man in the world, but there was another perfect man, my new wife's first husband." Very few people have ever understood the human mind. Albert Einstein said everyone sits in the prison of his old ideas. Most church members want God in their image, not them made in the image of God. In recent years, government schools, obedient trance from the television screen, everyone politically correct. Young people with whom I have come in contact with have decided our early American patriot ancestors were terrorists. That the Bible, God's word, is racist, that Christians are bigots. Most of us, believers and nonbelievers, are just going through the motions, wanting to live life just inside the line, on "easy street." My ancestors never took holidays, vacations, never thought about retirement.

Early in my private practice, and I was one of the early eye specialists in contact lenses, a man came to me from LaGrange, NC, wanting me to prescribe certain contact lenses, which would enable him to see markings on playing cards that others could not see so that he could win big at the casinos in Las Vegas. Was he any different from the rest of us... just edging across the line. How different would I have been in assisting him across the line. After all, my family-associates-friends would have admired me much more if I had made big money illegally. This man's friends-family would have admired him much more if he had made big money illegally at the casino. Most of us did not win life's lottery, life has been tough. Our country has made us indentured servants because of taxation-regulations and controls.

It is so easy to become bitter-depressed. Satan knows our weaknesses, how hard education, even success, has come to many of us. We know the price we have paid in the military service... that rank always had its privileges. It has been the enlistees from poor homes who paid the price. This was the only job they could get. I still remember the night that a army hospital commander, simply because of his rank killed a four-star general because the commanding officer did not know what he was doing, had not treated a patient in years, but because of his rank took over the patient. The young medical officer from the ghetto who had struggled through school, was a good doctor, attending to the general, said to me, "Watch him kill him." Of course the canons were roaring, the soldiers were standing at attention as the general's casket on a horse drawn caisson proceeded to the army post's chapel. The general's widow went into the funeral service on the arm of the hospital commander.

Learn early that Darwin did not define fairness in animal life, in the survival of the fittest. We have been slow in treating the cancer of indifference. You can't do much about aggressive cancer. You can treat slow cancer. Like a brilliant young man who could have won a scholarship to any university, succeeded in any field of study, said to me with great pride, "Preaching the truth of the Gospel is the only thing worth while for my life."

Survival Mode

#501

In 1828, Charles Darwin born in 1809 to a wealthy English family was in Medical School at Cambridge. Long before the time of anesthesia, (although the man who discovered anesthesia, James Simpson, was in his class) a leg was being amputated from a man, and the screams of the man caused a panic stricken Darwin to flea the operating room, never to return to medicine. Instead, Darwin became a Naturalist with the help of his family money, traveling around the world on the Beagle, collecting insects, butterflies, studying turtles in the Galapagos; in which pseudo science circles, provokes Scripture, supposed evolution in the myth of Eugenics...not a theory just an hypothesis...an excuse to forever give pagans, who profess no belief in God, an excuse for their sins because, if there is no creator, there is no one to hold you responsible.

In 1835, up in the mountains collecting his insects and worms, (I have been in the Galapagos and I do not remember any mountains in the Galapagos), there was a tremendous earthquake in the area. He states that he had trouble staying on his feet during the shaking. When he came down to the shore from the mountains, he found tremendous destruction and an apparent change in sea level. In a huge earthquake, such as the recent 8.8 in Chile, new figures which would have been 9.9, such as destroyed San Francisco in 1906. On a scale of 1 million seconds the earth would change only 1 second.

Darwin put his findings in his famous 1859 book The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection: Or, the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life. I have recently sold my original copy of the 1859 book. But the book is more an elementary racist text on the protection of species, more than giving any credence to present day mythological creation.

Today's Liberals cling by their very fingernails to the branches of ontogeny recapitulating phylogeny. Postulating that we all “matriculated” the goo, to the zoo, to you. The magnificence of divine design...wherein; even, every snowflake that has ever fallen has Gods individual magnificent design...every iris fleck in every human eye...every voice...every facial characteristic...every fingerprint shows the magnificence of the creator and God given us each individuality. A creator, who in the very palms of his hands, spoken before the world was formed has written your name. A creator who holds the oceans of the world in his hands, who measures the heights of the Himalayas with his fingers, who dips his foot into the Mariana Trench of the Pacific Ocean (the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean).

We think we are so smart, with all our electronics, without warning, four times in a few weeks horrific earthquakes in different parts of the world; Haiti, Japan, Chile, Taiwan; and, there have been tremors in America.

In this very city where I live, a few of the most historic buildings still bear the cracks of the 1811 Southern USA Earthquake, commonly called the New Madrid fault line. The dancing in the south, known mostly for the polite Virginia Reel, experienced shaking which caused the Mississippi River to “flow backwards”, rang church bells in Boston. I was in Guatemala following one South America earthquake. I still remember the cracked streets, tilted buildings, smirched overpasses. Most earthquake “ridden” cities are left in rubble. Survivors must move to the countryside. It is time for Americans and people all over the world to get into the “Survival Mode”.

Have you considered what would happen to you or your family with an earthquake, a tornado, a hurricane? Any of these catastrophes which can happen so unexpectedly...instantly...leaving your world upside down. We spend so much time preparing for an uncertain future. I never ceased to be amazed that human beings, just one breath from death, think they will live forever without any problems at all. I learned long ago that positively no one has any empathy or understanding of the disabled. Just think, born in object poverty, starving through eight years of University education to become commissioned as an Army Medical Officer, and then to return to an unconcerned family, friends, and environment and have to start all over in absolute darkness. To live like that until the present, age 80. Yet, I am one of the lucky ones. There are hundreds of thousands of much finer young men than this old man buried in Military Cemeteries around the world...thinking that they were dying for a grateful Nation.

Lets think of survival, particularly the three most important features of your survival; water, food, and hygiene. Most families do not even own a shovel to dispose of human waste or in a worse development the burial of a family member. Maybe each will do like a woman in this
town whose mother died in September, she left her lying in her bed for 6 months spraying her daily with chemicals to prevent radical deterioration and cut down on smell. She collected $8,000 of Social Security benefits and even had other people living in the same house. Her court case will be heard soon.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Most juices and other drinks come in plastic bottles; fill them with water. In a time of emergency there will be no water coming out of the tap, (old water is better than no water), no electricity, no delivery trucks, no gas stations. You will be on your own. One of my college student assistants told me, “he would just eat in a fast food place”; I asked him what made him think one would be open? Another said he would call the police for help. The police will not be on the job...they will be at their own homes trying to survive. Don't call the fire department; they will be at home trying to survive. Make sure you have a fire extinguisher. Stock up with flax seed, corn meal, even hog feed (I knew one doctor in this town who had a bowl of hog feed each day because of the grain and sorghum which kept him healthy and regular)” mix 1 spoon of flax seed or corn meal to 3 spoons of water. You can live for months on such. Every time you go to the grocery store, buy extra cans of food such as canned sweet potatoes or fruit. Stock up on peanut butter, crackers, dried cereals and dried fruit. God help you if you have a spoiled finicky child that you have “pacified” to their exact taste bud requirements. As my wonderful mother said, “when you get hungry you will eat.”. We were never allowed to complain about any thing on the table which many times was very sparse. God help you if you have a wife who cannot meet the requirements of the situation. Crying and complaining will do no good...it will be a matter of survival of the fittest...the one thing Darwin said in his book which is true. I had one wife who was capable of cooking only one thing, tuna salad. To this day, I cannot stand the word “tuna”. Flax seed will replace your needs for butter, oil, and eggs. Have bleach available so you can use a drop in water to assist with its purification. You will need a weapon, in spite of Mr. Obama and his Liberal cohorts who want to disarm the Nation because, in spite of your Christian convictions, you may have to survive by defending your survival “pantry” from your neighbors and those who roam the streets, even in times of plenty, trying to take from the haves to give to the have nots. Again, we will agree with the Communist Liberals, Darwinians, and Obamanation Obamalites “the end justifies the means”.
Tough times require tough people. I taught survival skills in the Military...learning to live off plants, berries, and insects. I told one of my young employees that I would bet he could not dress a rabbit (dress is an old English term for preparing wild game or fish for cooking). My employee said, “you mean dress a rabbit in clothing”?

Buying the Lie

Buying the Lie

To the Progenitors of Charles Darwin on the 200th anniversary of his birth( Feb 12 1809), I dedicate this episode of reality because you should have learned long ago that the atheist and the protagonist of his cause should have given up the lie. Perhaps never in the history of man has attenuated such a myth as the obscure theory of evolution. Medical student Darwin ran out of his first real challenge of anatomical study when the limb of a patient was being amputated without anesthesia which had not been discovered. It is believed that one of the discoverers of anesthesia, but the specific discoverer of anesthesia has not been ascertained even by the US congress in 1849. So, Darwin gave up medicine and became (which is debatable) the worlds most known naturalist. He attached himself to captain Robert Fitzroy aboard the HMS Beagle on a voyage across the Atlantic and around the cape of Good Hope that lasted 5 years during which he made his famous studies at the Galapagos islands which this writer has visited of the cost of Ecuador.

When I was a boy, one of my many chores on the farm was assisting my father in the castration of pigs. I’m sure, after I went to college, my brothers assumed that distasteful job. The male pigs were never the same after the surgery. In the movies, we have all seen the branding of cattle with a hot branding iron and we can assume the cattle were never the same after this procedure.

The Atheist scientist, still tries to line up the chief creation of god’s handiwork with such animals as these void of soul and human genome that makes our scientific molecular structure. The ontogeny which they hope recapitulates phylogeny. They even confuse the Austrian priest Mendal who did early work with peas and flowers and is known as the father of genetics affording him a place in this evolution myth. With the discovery in 1953 of DNA by James D. Watson of Chicago and Francis H. C. Crick of Cambridge, I thought once and for all much of this theory on evolution would be put to rest. After all, Darwin’s 1859 book has the title “On the Origin of Species By Means of Natural Selection, or, the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life” which was mostly a racist exposition by a man who had never seen a microscope or telescope and who’s biological knowledge was rudimentary at best.

In the Galapagos where I have visited the 3700 mile Rift Valley through central Africa was first discovered by John Walter Gregory (which I have visited and actually met Mary Leakey, archaeologist and anthropologist, before she died in 1996). I yield to a much superior mind, Dr. Henry Morris who said “It is impossible to devise a scientific experiment to describe the creation process, or even to ascertain whether such a process can take place. The Creator does not create at the whim of a scientist." A Christian, a child of god filled with his holy spirit is not required by god to defend his knowledge of science or his faith which we believe to be a verb defined as action supported by belief and confidence.

The millions of American tax dollars expended by non believers in an effort to establish a big bang, to convince students that they come from the “goo to the zoo, to you” continues to be a process of useless activity. All the answers of life have been given to us in gods word “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!” (Psalms 8 3-9).

In every high school and college graduation address I have given even before some atheist who thought they knew it all I never hesitated to say that the eternal world can be summed up in five words “he made the stars also.” No list of university doctorates, not one of the many books written on evolution have ever disproved these five words and, I always say to every audience “you need to spend time rejoicing in your belief and no time dwelling on the doubts of the heathen.” Every university student is always exposed to an atheist faculty member who takes pleasure in trying to reduce his faith. Fames zoologist Dr. Claybourne Jones who taught me at UNCCH “hold on to your faith.” The only thing this university professors have to look forward to is a bitter lonely, helpless life here on earth and unspeakable eternity. The believer has the joy of redemption and the security of knowing, as did Joshua “No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5).

The resurrection of our blessed lord is the most important and definite fact of history. Those who knew him best, hi disciples, weak as they were knew this power as immediately after his ascension. They left for various parts of the world, Telling of the “good news”. Only one who has traveled across the Himalayas as I have who has spent as much time in India as I have, can understand the disciple Thomas going all the way to India, “spreading the gospel” until he was killed in the city of Chennai near the city Madras.

Bartholomew, tradition says was flayed and crucified upside down in Armenia. Mark, near Alexandria Egypt, was tied and dragged around town until he was dead. Peter, in Rome, was crucified upside down because he was not worthy to be crucified as Jesus was. Paul, in Rome, (writer of 14 of the 27 books of the New Testament) was beheaded in the reign of roman Emperor Nero “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. And others had trial of cruel mocking and scourging, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented” (Hebrews 11).

These disciples of Christ who witnessed his resurrection did not have any way to communicate with each other (the telephone was not put into the white house until 1877) they could have deserted the memory of our blessed lord just as the list of martyr in Hebrew 11. Faith gave them the strength of a powerful testimony.

Let the heathen rage, leave them with their doubts and fears, and their theories on evolution. The verse of scripture which changed my life long ago and is still the guiding light of this totally blind veteran “Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them” (Psalms 84:5).
