Today is the day of prayer in Muslim countries, including Egypt. The 18^th day of the benign coup d'etat. The country which has been the cornerstone in keeping middle east peace (Israel-Egypt peace accords), suddenly achieved world headlines. The dictator, for 30 years, Mubarak, has played the citizens of his country, Mr. Obama, world leaders, like a violin. Unemployed people, who have nothing else to do, very much like those who demonstrate in this country, did not change anything.

There has not been enough bloodshed for a real revolution. When a man has been in total control for 30 years, has socked away $70-$80 billion, which the US has presented him for keeping the peace, you know he has his military and everyone else on the job under his thumb. Egypt gets $315 million a day from tourism, like England and Japan, whose natural resources are zero, there is nothing else in Egypt from which the millions can make a living. The tourists have disappeared, one shop owner said he had sold nothing for two weeks. So, those in tourism, shop-owners, like their fellow Egyptians on the streets, are all facing starvation, things might have been bad before, but they can get worse, especially if the Suez canal is brought into the picture, 1/6 of the world's commerce going through that one vital waterway.

At the end of WWI, Lawrence of Arabia brought some of his Arab leader-friends to Paris to participate in the peace talks. There, Arabs nomads had never seen bathrooms, faucets, from places where water is so precious, they were amazed that you could turn a handle and water would come out. On returning, they all removed the faucets from their bathrooms, thinking that they would have an endless supply of water. Nothing has changed in the history of the world, men still forget that there must be a power source for everything.

The news in this morning's newspaper all started with one baby, in one pitched ark, floating in a river many years ago. Jochebed, the mother of Moses, just as Jonah, saving his sons from the water, left a long history of the salvation of the people of the world. It all took place in the middle east, then and now. Mr. Harold Campen, 85 year old radio talk host, for 59 years answering questions on family radio, states that Christ will return April 21^st, 2011. A Russian scientist has just announced that world will end in 2036. I don't believe either of them know but everything in God's Word tell us that the time “is drawing near”.

John, the beloved disciple, youngest, but the one who lived the longest, the only one not martyred, on the island of Patmos, wrote the book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible. Chapters 4-19, tell of the end times, chapter 3 tells the history of the church, the seven churches describe the history of the church age, there can be no doubt that were are living in the Laodicean church age.

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. God, like us, nauseated by lukewarmness in any drink, we want our drinks either cold or hot. Rich, having need for nothing, sounds like today's “prosperity gospel” preachers, wealthy denominations (SBC, Episcopal, Catholic, etc.). Dignified, sophisticated, beautifully attired, groomed, perfumed; what pulpiteer will tell these folks that they will go to hell unless they repent of their sins? Most, self-satisfied, really have no need for God.

I was reared in the Great Depression, country church, cotton was selling for 3 cents a pound (USDA Market News, January 2001: $1.78 a pound). At that country church, the new pastor, James Evans, wore such a ragged suit that the equally ragged women of the church sold butter and eggs from their farm homes to buy him a new suit. His Christianity was real, their Christianity was real.

A wonderful baptist son, married an equally wonderful Presbyterian daughter, they could not agree on going to one church or the other. He finally said to her, “if Jesus were to return to earth and say that he was a Baptist, would you change denominations then?” She said, “no because I'd know he was a fake, our Blessed Lord is a Presbyterian.”

We are in the final hours of the church age, there can be no doubt about it. The world snickers when the world speaks about Jesus Christ, and if the so-called Christian is going to be popular with the world, you must snicker along with them. The good ol' boys who control everything, do not believe in redemption.

100 people in Japan commit suicide every day, 9 out of 10 Japanese will not buy a house where there has been a suicide. You always deduct at least $30,000 from the selling price of a house where such has occurred. Christians love life, non-Christians do not believe in life (and this 16% of the American population), even in giving life to the most innocent, babies. This is the abortion crowd, and yet there are so-called Christians in both white and black churches who will support the Democrat party who promote the atrocities of abortion, euthanasia, same-sex marriage. Today, in South Africa, unemployment is 25%, it has been that way since the communist, Nelson Mandela, took over. Unemployment in America is edging toward 25% since the communist Obama took over. Unemployment in Egypt is almost 25%, Cairo, 18 million population, people sleeping on the street, prisons known for torture, Coptic Christians persecuted.

Most things go in opposite directions, the needle does not hurt as much if you look at it entering the body. The brain modifies pain. When will the world learn that the only way to escape the pain of unemployment, political corruption, is to face it head on, and start with the best psychiatrist, the one looking back at you in the mirror. We are living in a time of the apostate church, corrupt government everywhere. Faith is 90% courage, cling to your Christian faith.

Not since FDR's funeral was held in the East room of the White House have I been aware of so much death, the death of the Constitution.

Our founding fathers left the tyranny of Europe looking for freedom and opportunity. They were willing to go through the harshness of existence here but died never realizing the abundance of this land. Most, like my fore-bearers, ate many meals of just stew...anything they could get together...wild animals such as rabbits, birds...wild fruits and vegetables, eggs...they did whatever they had to do in order to keep body and soul together. They went to church or other meetings carrying Blackstone's Law Book and their Bible under one arm and their musket over the other shoulder.

After bribery never before seen in this country, threats, lying, cheating, thieving, the last great freedom of this republic melted away like the snows of this harsh winter with the liberal Democrat majority and their hero communist organizer, Barack Obama. The new legislation controlling the last freedom we have...freedom of healthcare, is now controlled by the government, the IRS, the control freaks produced by this “Barackracy” and totalitarianism never seen before in the world. In just 14 months, the “Barack stew” has resulted in the greatest expenditure of money we have ever known. More debt than George Washington and George W. Bush and all the presidents in between combined.

In a depression that makes the Great Depression look nominal the joblessness continues. The government is a job killing machine. Congress legislated 150 billion on jobs this week and yet joblessness increases. 40 percent of all people out of work have been out of work for six months, a never before seen figure. Even in the depths of the Great Depression, and I was living then, and there was not only financial depression but psychological depression of unbelievable depth, most people just hanging on to the rim of a great black hole.

The 2700 pages of legislation is nothing but tyranny. If you can be fined for not buying something which the government demands, then there is no limit to how much fine the government can put on you. It is as simple as that, government totally out of control.

There was a great migration to this land of opportunity from Italy, Ireland, Poland and particularly China and Japan. In most large cities with ports of entry of migrants, there were entire areas of the city perhaps known as “China-town” or “the Italian section”. There is no doubt that the children and grandchildren of the immigrants who flooded this country will now seek to return to the country from which their grandparents fled a century or so ago. Most still have a certain allegiance to their heritage, their genetics, Chinese-Americans, Italian-Americans, Polish-Americans etc. In fact, I understand, that many Chinese-Americans are returning to China where they find they have a better chance at a job and progress.

In this time of depression, financial insecurity, where Wall Street can get a bail out from the government but the business man on Main Street must have a “sell out” of his business, we find that the businessman must make clear, responsible, daily decisions. Politicians just have to make one decision, “how to get re-elected”. In this time of depression, vacant offices, empty stores are just another sign that there are many people not only looking for jobs but unable to buy anything. The only way you cure joblessness is by manufacturing or selling something. Using this as the criteria, most of the people out of work will not find a new job unless it is a job working for the government which just creates more depression because those who are working, those who own property, must pay greater and greater taxes to support the federal, state, local “Barackracrats” who just shift papers.

Most of us who believe in justice believe that the third branch of government will come to their senses and correct this corruption of the Constitution. In recent years, the judicial, particularly the Supreme Court has been unwilling to correct the mistakes of the two other branches of government, congressional and administrative. Two aging, ill Supremes will probably resign and it is a known fact that two very liberal justices are lined up to take their places. Besides, what need is there for the Constitution when it is no more than just a piece of paper which neither branch respects?

At the time of the Great Depression, our Fiat dollars were backed up with gold. America owned 90% of the world's gold. Dollars are now backed up by thin air. Americans are working for dollars that don't buy anything. China controls most of the gold in the world. China and Russia have hoarded most of the world's gold reserves and China mines more gold than any other country.

My parents, grandparents, great grandparents and most citizens of my age have never known anything about leisure or vacation. I understand that most contracts entered into by workers have more agreements concerning time off for holidays and vacation than anything else. “Barack's stew”, the “Barackracy”, seeks to enslave doctors, nurses and other healthcare employees while legally enabling federal enforcers to keep them in line. I found in the hospitals of communist totalitarian states that the bureaucrats in charge of the hospital had more power over patient care than those educated to give patient care. It has already been decided that, as in the case with the military, a number will be assigned to each illness and a certain medical procedure will be assigned to each number (DD 2807). In other words, treating the human body will be very much like working on a vehicle...”one size fits all”. If a certain Rx does not work...too bad...as with the Veterans Administration...deny, delay, go home and die.

For most of American history, married women did not work outside the home. She stayed at home, raised her children, cared for her family. With ever increasing taxation and regulations, it has become necessary for both husband and wife to work in order to pay the bills. Books have been written on what this has done to family life and to children. At least mothers had the option of working. As government has steadily increased in size everyone must work. Soon, children will be employed as soon as some type of job is available in order for a family to survive.

Too ridiculous for words, in California, hard hit by the depression, the federal government is giving $8,000 trying to sell the excess houses on the market. Now the weakest, strangest governor to ever take office, the prideful, pretty Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger is giving $10,000 to each California home buyer. Where is California or the government getting this money? They are both broke. And, it is the usual lie, whether $18,000 or 18 dollars, it does not go to the buyer but to the seller.

When we think of the word traitor we think of Benedict Arnold. When you think of the one man who has done more than any other to destroy your country you should think of “Barack stew”...the inedible, corrupt mess he has whipped up during the past 14 months.

The young William Booth, later General William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army would walk around London with a sandwich board over his head. On the front of the board it would read, “I'm a fool for Jesus”. On the back, “Who's fool are you?”

I was a friend of the late Senator Jesse Helms, one of the few Christian statesmen I have known in my life. Talking one time about the cost of war and serving in the military (I'm a totally blind, 100% disabled, medical officer veteran) I said to him, “since war costs so many people so much why not just catapult bundles of money at the enemy?” He said, “no, in America too much money is made from war.” In America, too much money is made from sickness, surgery, orthopedics, pharmaceuticals. In America, too much money is made from gambling, pornography, (money made on pornography exceeds all money made from athletic events and television networks combined) money spent on pet foods, (more money spent on pet foods than money given to all churches) money spent on financial institutions (in the bailout of Goldman Sachs tremendous bonuses paid, even million dollar bonuses to secretaries). In America, too much money spent on alcoholic beverages (Americans spend over 90 billion dollars each year on alcoholic beverages). In America, too much money is spent on politics (Mr. Obama spent 950 million to get elected). In America, too much money is spent on abortion, the killing of the innocent (next year 750 million will be spent by planned parenthood of just your tax dollars). The budget of Planned Parenthood exceeds one billion, most of that spent on abortions. Seeing these figures, are we not happy that the mercies of God extend to us? The longest book in the bible, the psalms, 27 times “the mercies of the lord endure forever”.

Once, in the Kalahari desert in Botswana, with my binoculars (I still had a shadow of vision in one eye at that time) I watched a large herd of wildebeests. To the edge of a clearing, beneath some bushes, I saw a pride of lions. When the wildebeests detected the lions they began to run, leaving behind the smaller animals who could not keep up, the sick animals, the newborn babies who had just been dropped from the mother. This was lunch for the lions. A lion which can fell an elephant considers a defenseless wildebeest as an appetizer. The victims of war, the victims of the military industrial complex of this nation, the victims of the financial wizards of Wall Street are just appetizers for the deceiving, lying, masquerading, hazing, inflicted by federal, state and local government as the citizen runs the gauntlet trying to survive the debauchery and the deceit of our times.

Today's unemployment figures give no one reason for encouragement. Through the political entanglements of NAFTA, CAFTA, and a self inflicted death of industry in America, few jobs will come back. Business will increase in good times and in bad times but never in uncertainty. Most business people, most Americans, are just waiting and watching for the next Satanic development...more public spending...more hiring of federal employees...more giveaway programs in the area of social engineering...putting more people on the welfare list...putting everyone into a Communist system of healthcare. Why should anyone look for a job? In some states, unemployment figures show us that one makes more just drawing a government check.

I sent a black Pentecostal preacher to see a black man, ill for many months. The preacher called me back and told me that he offered to pray for the sick man. The ill man said, “I don't mind you praying but remember I get a check.” In other words, he was more interested in getting his government check each month than he was God's healing provisions for his health. Why should any businessman (private enterprise, small business employment account for 99% of all employment) hire more employees when he does not know how long he himself will be in business and just how quick he will have a “going out of business sale”. There is not one person in the Obama administration who has ever run a business successfully. These clowns know nothing of the taxation involved (unemployment, workman's compensation, permits and license etc). It is the businessman who takes all the risks, who watches the front door to see if anyone comes in, “just looking” anxious to see if anything comes off his shelves. He is the one responsible for the payroll, the utilities, a constant barrage of “do gooder” organizations wanting a “handout”. It is the small businessman who is expected to support his church, civic clubs, the many groups to which his school children belong. With most businessmen, it is a matter of going to work early and staying late, a matter of his wife supplementing the family income. He thinks every day, “why did I try so hard to succeed in school? Why do I take all of these risks, pay all this fire, liability, and other insurance in an uncertain business in uncertain times in an uncertain world? Why should I not just sit at home and watch the idiot box like the 50% of the population who pay no tax? Why do I work every day so I can employ people who are supposed to work for me who, in most cases, if things don't go exactly right or I make one correction, they are out the door ready to spread any type rumor they can concoct, all too ready to go to my competition, friends or family with any fantasy they can conjure.”

The greatest threat of a healthcare practice, after years of preparation, money beyond comprehension, a disgruntled employee or patient making a fantasy accusation of ethical consequences toward you. One of my best friends, a very good doctor, was ruined financially and otherwise because one family in a community, with long trails of gossip, made an erroneous charge about him and, of course, most people want to believe the worst.

In my own experience, in large practice, a young doctor whom I had taken in after his divorce, unable to practice on his own, needing my assistance, later dissatisfied because of a new wife and her wanting him to move to another area and break the professional agreement, went to a cocktail party and told the most outrageous tale anyone could possibly tell on an old, mostly blind practitioner. They told, at that party, that I had been arrested in a hotel, at the state capital, with a prostitute. You should know the feeling when you walk into a public place and everyone starts whispering. The local newspaper editor, got hold of the tale, investigated, with the police, hotel, everyone, and here is the headline of the editorial, “How Do These Vicious Rumors Get Started?”

Most lenders will be lucky to get back 25 cents on each dollar. Wool has been pulled over the eyes of the American people. The Judas goats of the Obama Administration have led the dumb sheep (Americans) into the slaughterhouse of senseless national debt...debt that can never be repaid.

It will not be your children or grandchildren who will repay the debt. Disenchanted and dismantled, we will pay the debt with inflation. Our greatest lenders, China and Japan, are spending the money we have borrowed buying real estate here because they feel there may be some value in real estate since they know there will be no value in the dollars.

The dominos are falling. As you make your exit, “don't slam the door”.
