"Incredible Insurance"

 

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added to you.

            Freedom is the inherent right of all men.  Truth leads to freedom.  (John 8:32)  Jesus told us that He is the truth.  (John 17:17 & John 14:6)  God's greatest gift to man, liberty and free will.  Until Christ becomes preeminent, your life committed to Him, you are as lost as the unbelieving sinner because you do not have the trust in Him which He demands.  God demands trust.  We say we believe, but our actions say otherwise.  We want to trust in the sovereignty of God, but in the caldron of daily activity we lose so quickly, that trust. 

            The largest-tallest buildings in any city are buildings owned by great insurance companies.  The three tallest buildings in the city of Chicago are insurance buildings.  In 2012 1.1 trillion was spent on casualty insurance in America.  America spends more on warfare than the rest of the world combined, 652 billion dollars.  America furnishes 30% of NATO's budget and NATO spends 60% of all money on warfare.  In my lifetime (84 years), health, automobile and life insurance have become basic requirements.  Even on the farm, God's most independent people rely on crop insurance... insurance against wetness, dryness, storms.  The lands on which my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents farmed... suffered through times of draught and drowning, now, those same crops are insured.  Recently, on these farms when the crops "drowned," the crops were just "cut up by tractor machinery," destroyed, and the insurance collected. 

            The lack of trust in God not only to save our souls, but to bless us with abundance (John 10:10) in our lives, is a loss to us.  In not willing to face our "predicaments" with trust in God, we place ourselves with the same attitude as the unbeliever.  We expect the unbeliever, those who do not trust in God, to seek protection by way of insurance-government-welfare rolls.  God has assured those who believe and trust in Him that He knows our needs, "He will never leave us or forsake us."  (Hebrews 13:5) 

            WHEN the unsaved, the unbeliever, sees the Christian whose trust and faithfulness depends on the grace of God, exercising the same doubts and fears of those who do not have faith or trust, WHAT a testimony!

            In truth, if Christians, because they are suppose to depend on their faith in the grace and mercy of God are fraught with fear, they then become worse than the unbeliever.  In truth, Republicans, because they are suppose to have a higher standard of morality and values, get caught in the mire of government programs, supposed need for insurance protection, are no better than democrats.  At the democrat's convention in Charlotte, NC, the democrats wanted God taken out of their programs, through entitlements-subsidies-controlled programs.  Democrats want government to be high on the alter of their life agenda.  Democrats go so far in their pagan, non-God ideology that they easily murder the innocent unborn, proudly promote homosexuality of every type before God and man.  YET, those who claim the name of Christ, who certainly should believe in the protection of God, like ENVYING their unsaved friends and family members who are hob-knobbing-drinking and playing at the clubs, cast God aside as they want to dress-drink-dance to the tunes of the world-flesh-devil. 

            The most incredible insurance of which man can conceive, trusting for protection from the Creator of the universe, the One who not only through the stars in space, but can heal-halt heap blessings on those who love Him and curses on those who hate Him.  He is able and incredible insurance.  He is able to heal all sickness, harass every enemy of the faith and harbor you in safety. 

            Only the most naive among us will refuse to see how fast the nations of the earth are going down the drain.  This is what happens when insurance buildings become higher than church steeples.  One criminal activity after another, not just in the bleak places in your town, but in the bright lights of your city, not just with those who are exceptionally ignorant, but also with those who are exceptionally bright.  The cross of Christ on the top of most church steeples tells the world that people of faith have a protector.  The insurance corporate edifices above us all tell the world that man wants controls, not freedom or liberty, that man made protection is superior to creator God who designed everything.  We have thousands of miles of blood vessels in which life circulates in the human body, life is in your blood.  Your insurance policy will pay for guess work... large cathedrals of treatment, big Pharma making fortunes on God-given chemicals, people who actually think they know something about the human body and will act if paid enough.  Sovereign God knows the very number of hairs on your head.  (Luke 12:7)  He knows about all of the electric current which flows through the wires in your house.  Man has always believed in a superior power, the Romans - Jupiter, the Greeks - Zeus, the Egyptians - Ra.  This world traveler has seen worship of every type... men crawling up hills, flogging their bodies, feeding snakes and monkeys, all attempting to satisfy a basic human need for worship of someone/something greater than self. 

            Christianity is not complicated, just tough.  The Christian message is not complicated (follow me).  The Christian prayer is not complicated, just, "Lord help me."   (Matthew 14:30)   

            One of my employees, a Seventh Day Adventist, after driving me to vote, said, "Real Christians, certainly members of Seventh Day Adventist, do not vote because we know we are bringing down condemnation on ourselves.  We rapidly realize the futility of our vote."  When you depend on insurance and you go through the harassment of the insurance company seeking every reason to not pay, you realize the futility of insurance.  When you hear about your nation and world's conditions, even criminal darkness in your own town, you realize the futility of voting... which has resulted in such politicians-law enforcement.  The Christian has no place to go except to the word of God, the Creator of the universe and our confidence in Him.  Our faith, a verb, action, based on belief, sustained by confidence, such incredible insurance and assurance.

Hegelian Dialectics

In the Hegelian dialectic method of conversation, there are three stages, you have thesis, antithesis and synthesis. My thesis, blind eyes studying the condition of the world: why has God allowed the churches, those who know better than to cross the line, support such evident world decadence? At least there was a time that the world, the flesh, the devil and those human beings controlled by such had the decency to stay out of the church. Now, brazen, indifferent, shameless...the gay agenda is working its will in every church, from the largest to the smallest. You cannot always tell who they are, in the old cowboy movies the “bad guys” wore dark hats, the “good guys” wore white hats.

There are churches, people who wrap themselves in a cloak of Christianity, so called “Christians” operating under a tent of church activity, who accept the most horrendous act of God-defiance: the killing of the most innocent of life in the abortion holocaust. There are denominations that put homosexual pastors and bishops in pulpits. There are denominations, particularly black churches, who support politicians and a political party that supports evil, knowing that their God-fearing, hard-working, taxpaying members and the descendants of these members for many generations, are loaded with a tax burden increasing at $4 billion each day!

It is so simple to understand, in the first chapter of God's Word, Genesis 1:6-9, everything is separated, water from land, darkness from light, all systematically, all perfect, and then God rested. History is marked by His treatment of those who refused to obey, refused to separate...the Flood, captivity by enemies, laws and prophets. With Christ there is no confusion about our lifestyle, Christ himself said, “Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.“ (Mark 8:34)

Surely, anyone with sense enough to read God's Word, anyone who matriculated through a Bible college or seminary should realize that the church has gone over the line with its music, apparel, and activities. “If gold rusts, what do you expect iron to do?”

God talks with us, but very few listen. Perhaps His judgment has already started...world-wide climate changes, incomparable disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, atmospheric phenomena. You will not hear much talk on secular, socialistic news commentary about such, but it is time for people to prepare for survival. Basic survival skills are a matter of food and water. Those who prepare ahead-of-time, both mentally and physically, may make it through the dilemma.

Start now...walking, limiting food intake, exercise (there will be no fuel, no vehicles, lucky people will have a bicycle). Learn to live around stupid people, if they were smart, we would not have the leaders we have now. Learn to defend yourself...you think we have gangs now, just wait until there are roves of hungry, desperate people roaming the streets.

In other commentaries, I have talked about being on some of the islands of the world such as the Seychelles where the populace is at the mercy of tyrants. I do not believe the men of America have realized what it will be like to defend their homes, their wives, their daughters. The most basic level of survival is just food, water and shelter, but on the second level of survival, lifestyle activities to which we are spoiled might slowly come into existence. Remember that this could go on for years. Every area, every scintilla of our life activities depends on energy. Just think of what your life will be like without electricity, only the energy that you, yourself, can produce.

The city of Washington DC has not been touched by this great depression we are in now. We send our tax dollars there...there is little unemployment, few foreclosures. The federal government has underground bunkers to house its employee, 176 million MREs (meals, ready-to-eat) have been stored. As bleak as it sounds, from the beginning God gave us hope and assurance in Him. He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. (Luke 6:48-49)

The modernist, liberal unbeliever, those who trust man more than God, in church or out, know nothing about building on a firm foundation. In my lifetime, I have seen people around me grabbing for government checks instead of the promises of God. In eastern North Carolina, poor black and white sharecroppers, tenant farmers, cotton-mill workers, people who just took the crumbs from the table, but raced to vote for more-of-the-same from promise giving/breaking Democrats who know full well just how far the line has been crossed.

One lady said there are more Baptists than birds in eastern North Carolina. God has continued to care for the birds, but the Baptists threw their weight behind the decadent Democrat party. Baptist churches know better than to support the gay agenda, same-sex marriage, the killing of the unborn. A mixed up, messed up doctrine.

We cannot do much about the world's Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, even the Episcopalians, Lutherans, Methodists, who have all bought a mess of pottage. Pray for vision inside and outside of the church as we face the uncertainties of the future.

Capitulation

With typical ambiguity, compromise, 'lukewarmness', and liberal distraction from their 'first love', the Southern Baptist Convention meeting in Louisville, KY, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first seminary, danced around a resolution of both admiration for and variance against the 44th President of the United States; the most pro-abortion, anti-life, same sex marriage promoter, stem-cell, euthanasia, bailing out with hard working tax payer members dollars, corrupt and bankrupt agencies of every kind, government and domestic, president ever elected. The liberal totalitarian Godless ideology of this president must be a stench in the nostrils of Almighty God...and God himself must be thinking, “Have these followers of Truitt, Criswell and RG Lee gone crazy?” How can any Southern Baptists with eyesight read God's inerrant word, listen to the 'fakery' of this President and his pastor (Rev. Wright), his advisers (Emmanuel, Pelosi, Biden, Sebelius) and still believe the follower of “Rules for Radicals” should be mentioned, let alone honored, by a fundamentalist, evangelical denomination is beyond my comprehension.

In 1938, Bette Davis starred in the movie “Jezebel”, along with Henry Fonda. In the movie, Jezebel, in her red dress, proclaimed that she had deliciously evil hands. I firmly believe that Jehu, arriving in his chariot at the Louisville Center, would have thrown President Hunt (who happens to be originally from this city) and his fellow resolution-revolutionists in the street for daring to proffer such a despicable act in the face of God's people, laboring in the vineyards, giving as to God their time, talent and tithes, expecting better at this time in our country's history.

Every liberal denomination that has stooped to women preachers, same-sex marriage, acceptance of homosexuality, and flirted with the theories of recapitulation, embryology and abortion, have lost church membership and influence even among antagonists of the church. Jesus was never ambiguous in dealing with deception and deceptors, “Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?” (Matthew 23:33) Why not honor Dr. Katherine Hancock Ragsdale, Episcopal priest of a Boston Seminary who considers abortion as a 'blessing'? For most of my life, hanging on by my very fingernails in a world of compromise and atheism, the spiritual foundations of the Southern Baptist Convention, the cooperative program, support for evangelical seminaries, support for both foreign and home missions, the knowledge that one denomination was left, true to the theology of God's inspired Word, kept me active and alive. I thrilled at attendance at SBCs, such as Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas, etc Like the slow, deadly, encroachment of cancer, I saw liberalism besmirching and beguiling local churches, but I held on to the belief that the same faith that led a Christian lady in my community to leave the questionable practices of the Quaker church and with the help of her husband, build and start a small Baptist church in the community. Where, after taking mail-order lessons in playing the piano, and did all things in regard to the church until it grew and could afford a pastor. (this church is still around and alive and well; not infected yet by liberal thinking)

My family, who landed from England in New Jersey and founded Morristown, adept at the modern thinking of SBC. "Fines, confiscation of property, imprisonments, assaults by mobs, deprivation of civil rights and of educational opportunities" were a part of life for a dissenter in England. Many Baptists and Quakers were thrown into prison because they would not take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy. They "followed the clear imperative of Jesus (Matthew 5:34) and James (James 5:12) to 'swear not at all.'" The dissenters offered to declare their loyalty, but that was unacceptable to their persecutors. The first refusal meant prison. The second meant the penalties of praemunire, or confiscation of all property, suspension of all rights, and indefinite length of imprisonment. The Act of Toleration (1689) brought religious freedom for all except Catholics and Jews, but the Baptists "made no special gain in numbers during the decades of larger freedom which followed, and they actually declined in zeal and spirituality."

Part of the early family left Morristown and centered in eastern NC, not exactly immune from persecution (several baptist preachers were hanged by the Episcopalians who ruled and had been given much land by Anglican, England along the coast, check out Tryon Palace, New Bern). I doubt that John the Baptist would feel fellowship with the southern baptist of NC. This writer, active at Bellevue, Memphis, churches in Alabama and NC, was asked to leave a local liberal southern baptist church because after returning from a convention I made the statement that,”I feel sure it is strange to God that southern baptists are so concerned about black people across the ocean and yet they walk by the church doors here everyday and we show no concern at all.” Was Dr. James Baker Cauthen, SBC secretary, joking when I heard him say in Memphis at a mission conference, “The black population USA needs evangelizing.” I left First Baptist, Wilmington, where I had been very generous, and my only child was on the foreign mission field.

People, like denominations, do what they do because they believe what they believe. Do you really believe in honoring an abortionist? (Killer of babies) Since January 1973, the only denomination that has tried to stop this holocaust is the Catholic church. Does it bother this liberal SBC convention at all that most of your families send children off to college who forsake their church? (estimated 75%) Does it bother the SBC that 37% of all children born in this country are born to single mothers? Does it bother SBC, that many with talent, time and ties like this writer, has left your convention because like most young people, we can recognize hypocrisy. The truth is the truth whether anyone believes it or not. You need to learn again, if you ever knew, “Faith is the victory that overcomes the world.”

1.AT&T fired President John Walter after nine months, saying he lacked intellectual leadership. He received a $26 million severance package. Perhaps it's not Walter who's lacking intelligence.

2.Police in Oakland, CA spent two hours attempting to subdue a gunman who had barricaded himself inside his home. After firing ten tear gas canisters, officers discovered that the man was standing beside them in the police line, shouting, 'Please come out and give yourself up.'

2. An Illinois man, pretending to have a gun, kidnapped a motorist and forced him to drive to two different automated teller machines, wherein the kidnapper proceeded to withdraw money from his own bank accounts.

3.A man walked into a Topeka, Kansas Kwik Stop and asked for all the money in the cash drawer. Apparently, the take was too small, so he tied up the store clerk and worked the counter himself for three hours until police showed up and grabbed him.

4.Police in Los Angeles had good luck with a robbery suspect who just couldn't control himself during a lineup. When detectives asked each man in the lineup to repeat the words: 'Give me all your money or I 'll shoot', the man shouted, 'that's not what I said!'

After about an hour of trying to make it go, they putted into a nearby marina, thinking someone there may be able to tell them what was wrong. A thorough topside check revealed everything in perfect working condition The engine ran fine, the out-drive went up and down, and the propeller was the correct size and pitch. So, one of the marina guys jumped in the water to check underneath. He came up choking on water, he was laughing so hard. NOW REMEMBER...THIS IS TRUE.

9.For over 100 years, the people of North Carolina have been ruled by Democrats. Twice in this time, by a slim margin, a Republican governor was elected. A few times, by a slim margin, republican US senators were elected (Helms, East, Dole, Burr, etc.). Legislature always Democrats, all bureaucrats Democrat, all boards, council of state, democrat. On a national scale Highway 95 east to the ocean, if it were a state, would be the poorest state in the country. More homes without inside plumbing than any other state in the country. Fewest paved roads, poorest schools, yet, these people almost in lockstep, race to the polls to vote for Democrats. The Piedmont and western part of the state are not quite as extreme, but would you not think that people of nominal intelligence would want a change?

10. Americans love war, we have been involved in so many. If not a war with planes leaving carriers, jets dropping bombs, a war on poverty, drugs, illiteracy, now terror. In spite of being taxed to the hilt, supposedly having the most intelligent people on earth running everything, we manage to lose all these wars.

11. I live in a county in which I am afraid to walk down the street, it is not the crime, even though there is much of it, it is not the weather, although there is much of it. I live in a county where the people actually went to the polls and voted for an increase in their taxation. We have never know taxes to be reduced, always increased. We have not known a time of prosperity, always recession. The politicians in this county instructed the bureaucrats of this county to totally infiltrate this county and tell them that if they want their real estate taxes reduced they must vote for an increase in sales tax. The people in the county were actually dumb enough to believe, that very week the real estate taxes were raised.

Addition by Dr. Morris: I was President of the NC Young Democrats when I decided to leave the Democrat party...in the early 60s. I am convinced that JFK was assassinated by his own country, and many other things such as Waco, Oklahoma City, and even 9/11. Governor Sanford and Representative Fountain told me that Democrats would rule North Carolina because the minorities and people who get government checks would keep them in power. I do not see how any Christian could continue to vote for the Democrat party...for no other reason than abortion and the gay agenda. I realize that poor white Christians such as eastern NC baptists, and poor blacks such as their liberated, nationalistic churches have been misled.

I'm voting Democratic because an inexperienced US Senator gives great speeches that make me feel good.
I'm voting Democratic because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
I'm voting Democratic because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.
I'm voting Democratic because I believe three or four elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution through judicial fiat every few days to suit some idealists who would otherwise NEVER get their agendas past the voters.
I'm voting Democratic because I don't want a stimulus check to spend. Let the government spend it for me.
I'm voting Democratic because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
I'm voting Democratic because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the employees (after taxes).
I'm voting Democratic because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
I'm voting Democratic because I believe that churches should only be allowed for political speeches.
I'm voting Democratic because I don't want Doctors who were at the top of their classes to operate on me. I want a government employee who makes $50k a year and couldn't hack it as a contractor or an engineer doing my surgery.
I'm voting Democratic because I believe that paying $4.00 a gallon or more is no reason to drill for the mountain of oil we are sitting on in THIS country. We wouldn't want to have to move a couple of polar bears now would we?
I'm voting Democratic because when we pull out of Iraq, I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.
I'm voting Democratic because I like it when planes fly into buildings full of civilians. I want to see more of that.
I'm voting Democratic because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.
I'm voting Democratic because I don't want to eat poison food and drink infected water. We all know Republicans love that stuff. (Ever wonder why the most left wing country in the world (China) is the most polluted?)

Pernicious Republicans

Archimedes, Greek mathematician and physicist said, “give me a fulcrum and a place to stand and I will move the world”.

The world's only hope, next to the intervention of God, is the hope of the Republican party. I can trace my American roots on paper, back to 1766, a survey map of the first farm, surveyed by the early American surveyor, Adjionah Peacock (Burlington County, Morristown New Jersey). From these early pioneers, until now, Republicans have held on with tenacity to the conservative principles of biblical values, low government interference in lives through taxation and regulations, values of decency and home, family, God and country. We have been in the minority because the world, the flesh, the devil is so attractive to unsaved, decadent minded control types...those who believe that government is the answer to all problems and that “big brother” knows best.

Even in the Republican party, we have had a steady infestation of parasites known as RINOs (Republicans in name only). These liberal, imposter Republicans reached their height during the George W. Bush administration. The Bushes, both 41 and 43, sold themselves as Christian conservatives. They were neither Christian nor conservative like the grandfather, US Senator Prescott Bush, of Connecticut, who made the family fortune dealing with Nazi Hitler's Germany. From then until now, they have traveled under a veneer of fakery...much to their financial success and we could give the names, Neil of the infamous savings and loan debacle, Marvin of the 9-11 explosive debacle and the ex President, 41, who is reportedly enriching the family by buying up much of the world's oil reserves. It would have been a complete idiot, such as 43, in the White House, who would have held on to Rumsfeld and Rice as they destroyed the government. Number 43, as he nicknamed all his “fraternity boys”, never used his veto pen, spent most of his time vacationing, allowed the Republican party to sink into the muck of charlatans...great preparation for the corrupters succeeding him. Judicial Watch just came out with the ten most corrupt politicians in Washington;

The ancient Egyptians would never have believed that the Nile river would have turned to blood. King Herod, wicked beyond words, interested in Christ “doing some tricks”, Governor Pilate, more interested in his 15 year old wife than justice for our blessed Lord, like lady Macbeth, thought he could wash his hands of demonic activity.

During this Easter season, when we think of the earth's renewal, our new birth through the atonement of our savior, it is good to evaluate just what has happened to this Democratic republic...of all nations...in history...blessed beyond words to describe. We know there are about 50 million American citizens who claim to be Christian. How can so many people allow things to go so wrong, our morals to sink into such depravity? Have we become a society of pretenders? Have we so confused the person of Jesus Christ and the purpose of Jesus Christ?

Five years ago the nation chose sides in the Terry Schiavo tragedy. A disabled woman who could have lived, whose family with exception of her demented husband, wanted her to live (a husband who had decided to live with another woman, more interested as a financial opportunist than the feelings of a concerned people and a concerned nation). Politicians, who for their own expedience made the life or death of this 41 year old woman a matter of votes. A nation tainted by the holocaust of abortion, embarrassed by the treatment of it's disabled citizens.

In all these things, the Republican political party supposedly always taking the high road has allowed the RNC to seek footage in the same muck and mire that has dominated the Democrat party...Democrats, only interested in votes, “the end justifies the means”. In the state of North Carolina, Democrats have controlled the legislature, every area of state government, for over 100 years. When I was younger, there was only one political primary...the Democrat primary. There was not enough Republicans to even offer candidates anywhere. In the legislature, and I used to travel and watch the legislative activity while they were still meeting in the capital building, there was not one Republican, one woman, one person of color, all white, well-festooned, liberal, wealthy, white Caucasians. One Senator, cousin Waylon Spruill, would come into the chamber, as if he were calling hogs to the trough...”sooey, sooey, sooey”. Then, they would divide up our tax dollars among themselves. The same goes on today except in the stalls in the men's bathrooms. Representative Black, Speaker of the House, now in prison, passed out money in the bathroom. Ex Governor Easley, his assistant Mr. Ruffin Pool...and God only knows how many more...passed out money and positions, plane rides, board appointments...ABC liquor store enticements with transparency. In other words, corruption has become so acceptable that it is the “rule”, not the “exception”.

In uniform, with all decorations, using a white cane, I stood in the new legislative building with an officer of the North Carolina Jaycees. We were there in the interest of proposed legislation. One of the senators, on the committee, from Columbia, Tyrrell County, was talking with him, explaining his financial problems. My friend put 500 dollars in his pocket. He said to me, “this is the way you get things done here”. It is like the inspector, inspecting one of my buildings, on Oleander Avenue, Wilmington NC, when I shook hands with him I placed a 100 dollar bill in his hand. Of course the electricity was immediately turned on, the building had passed inspected. I apologize to the world for participating in this graft and corruption. God has forgiven me for this act but has not let me forget it. Are we supposed to live, work and prosper in this world of total corruption, on the brink of annihilation, when we know that our republic has sunk to this depth? Or, are we as Christian soldiers of the cross, willing to die and even give up our eyesight for this country supposed to stand up and defend what is left of it's constitutional principles?

I saw my mother sit and weep over the corruption she saw as a Republican poll watcher during the days of the Democrat stranglehold and enslavement of the citizens of North Carolina. She could not believe the corruption, the evil intent of Democrat politicians. The tragedy is, as Democrats, perhaps through the leadership of the Holy Spirit of God, have recognized the debauchery they have learned to vote Republican. Few victories, squeezing out a victory now and then, from the thinnest of margins (Helms, Holshouser, Martin, East, Dole etc.) The Democrats can depend on liberals, all blacks, most women, all academics, most recipients of government checks to vote Democrat regardless of the integrity of the person. You can depend on the Democrats to support anything that will destroy the state or this nation...liquor, gambling, abortion, homosexual agenda, socialized medicine, welfare checks.

I have asked the RNC (Republican National Committee), to whom I had invested funds in the past not to ask me for anything else until they changed their basic philosophy, change back to the philosophy of Lincoln, Goldwater, Reagan. It is useless to try to pull a liberal Republican across the goal line such as we did with McCain and Dole. Many of us resorted to supporting John Anderson and Ross Perot...and other libertarians who are mostly disenfranchised Republicans. I will not waste my vote on a third party candidate again rather, if the Republican party does not have enough intelligence to cleanse itself from the like of the present National Chairman and the neocons who, like pretenders in every philosophy of life will get back to basics we will be forever in the minority, forever eating the dust and fumes from the Democrat “vehicle of hope and change”, filled with Radicals, Communist sympathizers, progressive academics, headed towards the inevitable brink and the fall into the chasm of disaster.

This is Holy week, preceding the greatest atonement sacrifice known to the mid of mortal man. Every republic has fallen because good men did nothing. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Gulag Archipelago said, “evil in Russia took over because Russia forgot about God”. We must believe that Republicans will reclaim the promise of our constitution. The Russian poet Pushkin wrote, just before the Russian revolution, “graze on ye sleeping cattle and sheep”.

His mother said it was the worse thing a parent can endure, but she did appreciate the Governor calling and telling her about Texas's first posthumous pardon. Her son, Tim Cole, was sentenced to a 25 year prison term for a 1985 rape, evidence later produced showed he did not commit the crime. He died of asthma, in prison, after 13 years in 1999. It took 10 years for the officials to act. Each time he had a pardon hearing, the officials told him just to admit to the crime. He told his mother, he would serve the full sentence before admitting to a crime he did not commit and being labeled a sex criminal. So, after being denied parole, the evidence which cleared him of the crime was produced, after his death. Tim Cole was in hock to the State of Texas. The hock shop or pawn shop has always been a matter of history. You take an article to the shop, they give you pennies on the dollar, but you are desperate for money and you, willingly, let them take advantage of you...your camera, watch, ring, gun. Something you can get along without until you can redeem it. It is the best place in the world for thieves to get money for their crimes. My Aunt, Mary, was secretary to the owner of a pawn shop here in this city for many years. She said, “the police were supposed to check items brought in for pawn, but they never did”. The pawn shop was the best racket in town. One ex-mayor of this city, made a fortune in the pawn shop business. He, like the other liberal politicians (each with his own racket), lives in the most exclusive gated community of this city; basking in luxury at the expense of desperate people. One of my blind friends, Catherine, desperate for money to bury her parents asked him to come to her house and loan her money on some of her possessions. She said, “he robbed me, he even took my photograph, made when I was a small child because it was in a very expensive frame with bubbled glass”. She said, “I have no one to blame but me, I was desperate for money to bury my father. My mothers ring was worth more than he paid me for all of my possessions including antique furniture handed down from my grandparents which I prized almost more than life”.

In the Bible, in the Old Testament, in the Book of Judges, we find seven mountains and seven valley's. It is a rare person who stays on the mountain all the time. We all have our valley's...the troubles of the valley's...the absolutes of life...good and evil, health and sickness, needy and greedy, failures and fortunes...no one escaping the world, the flesh, the devil. Most funerals employ the Words of the 23rd Psalm for comfort Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (Psa 23:4). Any time that God asks a question, he always gives an answer “LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. [He that] backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. [He that] sweareth to [his own] hurt, and changeth not. [He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved. (Psa. 15:1-5).

Charles Hadyn Spurgeon, Prince of Preachers, in his book, has one entire chapter on tombstones. He speaks of the epitaph carved in stone pertaining to the troubles of mankind. Few escape, don't confuse celebrity with accomplishment, don't confuse popularity with political ambition. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:8). If only our lives could just be mountaintop experiences. I have been on the Matterhorn in Switzerland, Sugarloaf in Rio, looked down on Hong Kong from Victoria Peak, it takes struggle to get to the top of any mountain. Caleb, (whose name means dog), one of the twelve spies sent by Moses to check out the promise land, at age 80, said, “I will take a mountain” (Present day Hebron). At age 80, my mountain climbing and claiming days are over. If only I could encourage young people to get out of the valley's of doubt, despair, dependency, despondency, and invest in a life of discipline, denial, and decency. You have one life to live, don't spend it in the hock shop trying to retrieve things. Phony boloney politicians and the people who support hypocrisy in the Democrat political party are willingly bringing the wrath of God upon themselves. 52% of all Black babies are aborted (1452 each day). Planned Parenthood and the Rockefeller foundation promoting Eugenics are seeking to accomplish what Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg of the Supreme Court calls “population control”. A large sign in one town states, “Black babies, the most endangered species”. Reverend Jesse Jackson, was pro-life until he needed money from the Democrats. He like most Black preachers had rather be in hock to Democrat money than a pro-life testimony for God. Another slice of the Democrat vote, on which they can always depend, is the Jewish vote. How can Jews support gun control after experiencing their lack of defense in the Holocaust? Certainly, the Jews of Israel have not given up their weapons...certainly not when surrounded by millions who want to eliminate the entire race from the face of the earth. Jews are in hock to the Democrat party because of the money involved in the business world (entertainment, media, corporations). In the catapult, the Democrat party has placed Islamic Extremists and dejected Black Civil Rights Leaders ready to go over the wall of the American Republic. It is not just ACORN or the Congressional Black Caucus, or other Democrat political organizations that are in hock to the Democrat party and their endless funds such as the nearly 1 billion given to President Obama for his Political Campaign, but teachers, preachers, and even jobless workers who should know better. Don't they know that it is a satanic nightmare that people can be used to control other people...Marxism in Russia and China...Janet Reno at Waco Texas. There is a singularity of purpose in the duality of spattered Civil Rights Workers and Muslim Extremists. We simply cannot afford to redeem our country from the hock shop of American Liberals.

When I was a student in Memphis, I attended a Black Baptist Church. The Pastor; Dr. Brewster, told me the Black Church is bathed in a “wash-pot” of hypocrisy. In predominant Voodoo villages I visited on the West Coast of Africa, in spite of poverty, Black children were the delight of the society. Today, the Supreme Court is making a decision on gun control. Jewish children in Chicago need as much protection as Jewish children in Haifa.
