Darwinian Segregation

I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord,
Over mountain or plain or sea;
I'll say what you want me to say, dear Lord;
I'll be what you want me to be.

Mary Brown

Truth is not new, the Gospel is not new, and, in the bottomless ocean of technology, people still want truth. Basic truth, we came from God and we are going back to Him. There is a very thin line which separates the saved from the unsaved, those who trust in God and those who do not. I often wonder which side many are on, it is hard to tell the difference... language, dress, attitudes, values. I have known so many innocent Christians, check list Christians, they don't do this, they do do that. Most have never known the true joy and mercy of God. Too many Christians, too many churches are like the giant locomotive, so powerful, so full of steam, only powerful when some mere man with a grease can lubricates just the right part.

This writer "can produce" relatives who could shout-stomp-waive limbs at a ball game, but were so completely emotionless at the church when hearing the greatest news in the world preached. In one stale-staid "mainline" church here in this city, one old lady became so filled with the spirit of God, one Sunday morning, after a great anthem and great sermon, she finally could not control herself any longer and just came out with the words "Praise God." An usher came to her and said, "We do not do that here."

For many years, Martha represented UNC-CH, attracting alumni in their giving towards the great school. She is responsible for all of the wonderful articles written about me, emanating from Chapel Hill. We had many wonderful conversations over lunch. The last time she was here, she had infiltrated gang activity in the city of Durham, attempting to bring the Christian message to gang members. The last words I ever heard from Martha, "Tom, God loves those gang members just as much as He loves you." I know that God loves gang members just as He loves government workers, but God loves me more because I trust Him and show my trust by my life, in my life, my habits, my faith in His marvelous grace.

One lawyer told me that gang tattoos do not seduce a jury. Religious tattoos do not influence God. All Christians should be weeping in the valley of tears for gang members, abortionists, and a broken culture-profane mankind who have brought "despite" (contempt) to the spirit of grace. "Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews, 10:29).

Often, when in a hotel, eating alone, this world traveler will be invited over to another person's table. One night, Switzerland, an older couple invited me to their table to join them. Later she said, "I know you think at our age we have been married for a long time... but we are newly weds. We both lost our companions and we are now happily married." BUT, the husband said, "We were taught that Jesus was the only perfect man in the world, but there was another perfect man, my new wife's first husband." Very few people have ever understood the human mind. Albert Einstein said everyone sits in the prison of his old ideas. Most church members want God in their image, not them made in the image of God. In recent years, government schools, obedient trance from the television screen, everyone politically correct. Young people with whom I have come in contact with have decided our early American patriot ancestors were terrorists. That the Bible, God's word, is racist, that Christians are bigots. Most of us, believers and nonbelievers, are just going through the motions, wanting to live life just inside the line, on "easy street." My ancestors never took holidays, vacations, never thought about retirement.

Early in my private practice, and I was one of the early eye specialists in contact lenses, a man came to me from LaGrange, NC, wanting me to prescribe certain contact lenses, which would enable him to see markings on playing cards that others could not see so that he could win big at the casinos in Las Vegas. Was he any different from the rest of us... just edging across the line. How different would I have been in assisting him across the line. After all, my family-associates-friends would have admired me much more if I had made big money illegally. This man's friends-family would have admired him much more if he had made big money illegally at the casino. Most of us did not win life's lottery, life has been tough. Our country has made us indentured servants because of taxation-regulations and controls.

It is so easy to become bitter-depressed. Satan knows our weaknesses, how hard education, even success, has come to many of us. We know the price we have paid in the military service... that rank always had its privileges. It has been the enlistees from poor homes who paid the price. This was the only job they could get. I still remember the night that a army hospital commander, simply because of his rank killed a four-star general because the commanding officer did not know what he was doing, had not treated a patient in years, but because of his rank took over the patient. The young medical officer from the ghetto who had struggled through school, was a good doctor, attending to the general, said to me, "Watch him kill him." Of course the canons were roaring, the soldiers were standing at attention as the general's casket on a horse drawn caisson proceeded to the army post's chapel. The general's widow went into the funeral service on the arm of the hospital commander.

Learn early that Darwin did not define fairness in animal life, in the survival of the fittest. We have been slow in treating the cancer of indifference. You can't do much about aggressive cancer. You can treat slow cancer. Like a brilliant young man who could have won a scholarship to any university, succeeded in any field of study, said to me with great pride, "Preaching the truth of the Gospel is the only thing worth while for my life."

The Case For Christianity

#545

The Case For Christianity

Albert Einstein, one of the world's greatest minds, Jewish, said Christianity was the greatest topic he could discuss, particularly the Eucharist, Holy Communion, substantiation, meaning Thanksgiving. The symbolic taking of the body and blood of Jesus Christ into our body...in memory of what Christ did for the believer on Calvary.

Libraries are filled with books on Christianity. On this Holy Thursday, the day, probably on which Christ was crucified, 200 years ago, we think again of the real essence of Christianity. Antioch was one of the largest cities of he world at the time of the Disciples. Peter preached in Antioch and Antioch is mentioned more than any other city in the Acts of the Apostles. The Gentile believers were first called Christians at the city of Antioch. (Act 11:26) Those who are born again, believers in Jesus Christ, call themselves Christian or, Christ-Like. I do not call myself Christian because I am not Christ like and I know very few who are. Rather, I call myself a born again believer in Jesus Christ. In the act of Baptism, we have portrayed the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. One who believes in Christ, wants to be Baptized by immersion in water. This symbolic act, the initial ordinance of the New Testament Church, shows to the world that you are a new creation in Christ, that you have been washed from your old life of sin and rejection, raised to walk in newness of life...Jesus, when he was Baptized went up, straight-way out of the water. (Mat 3:16)

The recurrent ordinance of the New Testament Church is Communion, wherein you take a small piece of bread representing stripes of Christ's body and a small sip of wine representing his shed blood for your sins. It is Christ's atonement, redemption, the sacrifice made by God that we as Christians have salvation.

It is unbelievable that God would use his only begotten son for the forgiveness of the entire world (John 3:16). It is unbelievable that sin, whether small or large, whether acts of war or acts of defiance, would be forgiven by the God of the universe...omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, the one who knows our every thought. It is unbelievable that God, who breathed into man life and soul, would forgive the taking of life...the most innocent of life...in the abortion holocaust or, the God of life who designed man and woman for reproduction would forgive the homosexual agenda...homosexual marriage, homosexual pastors and bishops...pedophile priests.

It is unbelievable that the very hairs of our head are numbered but, it is unbelievable that every snowflake that has ever fallen was individually designed by God. It is unbelievable that in the nano-technology available at our fingertips is just a small impression of God's power..

It is unbelievable that the first Passover in Egypt, involving his chosen people or our salvation today, is just as profound as our devotion to Christ. How could anyone not be thrilled by the knowledge found in his precious word? We walk either under the banner of Christ or the banner of Satan...there is no middle ground. Many pretend, many participate in the masquerade, particularly at the church house. I find that many cheat themselves of the joy of salvation.

In the mediocrity which surrounds us, most give the excuse of not being able to understand the mystery of God's sacrificial profundity. Those who cannot understand the mystery at the end of the telescope or the mystery at the end of the microscope should rejoice in the knowledge that even a small child can know the joy of eternal life. I heard the dean of the Union Theological Seminary say, “the thirteen most important words in the world are these; Jesus loves me, this I know, for the bible tells me so”. On this day, when we rejoice in the sacrifice made for us, we know that the tender heart of Jesus Christ forgives, and so should we. We know, from the shortest verse in the bible, “Jesus wept”...just two words that he still weeps because of our disbelief. We do what we do because we believe what we believe. The second shortest verse in the bible is just three words, “God is love”. Take refuge in the fact, in this Easter season that God loves us and will, according to his last words on earth, never leave us.

[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Heb 13:5-6)

Shifting Sands

#504

A friend of mine, in a recent conversion concerning creation said, “I don't agree your Creator but I do believe there must have been some instructions about the Big Bang.” I said, “who do you think gave the instructions?” The phony baloney of evolution should have been fully discredited and by now, should have disappeared from our Lexicon but the world wants to continue in it's sin without any fear of judgment. The academics continue to promote the myth...even in the face of the wisdom of the ages. Ptolemy the Egyptian mathematician attempted to adapt horoscopic astrology to the Aristotelian natural philosophy of his day. Few could understand his calculations. Einstein, greatest mathematician of modern times has said the most comprehensible thing about the universe is that it is incomprehensible. Without God, no man can understand God. Only one who has studied the universe with a telescope and likewise has studied micro organisms with a microscope can fully appreciate the greatness of the Creator, for the others, basking in the ignorance of their own wisdom, life for them is a matter conjecture.

I already had one degree in science in 1953 and was working on another when Watson and Crick discovered DNA. I thought this will forever silence the Pagans of the world with their goo to zoo to you mentality...all of which had been mostly imagination. I have studied in the 2000 mile Rift Valley of Africa where magically life supposedly began. The Leeke's and other anthropologists would be the first to tell you that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

King Solomon, in his book of the Ecclesiastes states the following , “for in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.” The historian will tell you that through the many ages of technical knowledge (iron age, bronze age etc.) nothing has happened to change human nature...man is about as dumb now as he ever was...has little foresight...has an expensive watch for which to tell time but that is about all.

God does not have a calendar, does not wear a watch. Almost exactly 200 years ago, 1811, the greatest earthquake ever to hit America (New Madrid) left it's markings, still visable. There are historic buildings in this very town in which I live still showing the results of that earthquake...an earthquake so powerful that water flowed backwards on the Mississippi river. Several evenings ago, my congressman called me personally and I told him, that he probably should spend as little time as possible in Washington D.C. It is my firm conviction, that the most evil city on the face of the earth is Washington D.C. If Washington D.C. escapes the wrath of God, God will surely apologize to Sodom. The warnings are all around us, he is showing us what he can do...Haiti, Chile, Japan, Taiwan and last night Turkey, none of these small tangos, rumbas, that have left death and desolation. Until 1900 there was 2,713,900 deaths from earthquakes. Since 1900 there have been 2,216,528 deaths. From 1990 to 2007 there have been 284,832 deaths by earthquake. Just this year there have been more than that which shows us the evidence and warnings which our blessed lord was careful to disclose. “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.”(Mark 13:8)

Put a few fleas in a glass jar and put a lid on the jar. The fleas will jump up to the lid trying to escape. Take the lid off the jar and the fleas will jump no higher than the previous lid. You can even train a flea! Man has not yet learned that he cannot pick up a box by standing in it. Content are our politicians to just play the games that people have always played. Content are our spiritual leaders to operate in darkness when they have been shown the light. Content are most parents to survive in self delusion.

There was a time when freedom loving, God fearing, hard working, citizens were not so easily scammed. We have seen the international banking system and a ludicrous tax system enslave us to the government. With a Marxist in the White House and both houses of congress under the complete control of liberal antagonists of freedom, children who have escaped abortion are being reared as slaves for state control. The only personal security left to give you any comfort at all, your relationship with your doctor. Now, this is being removed in the Obama, liberal, totalitarian control. The three largest employers on earth, the Chinese Army, the railroad system of India, and the socialized healthcare system of England. Larger than these three will be the socially engineered healthcare system of America. Can you even imagine the consequences...SOPs (standard operating procedures) and mandates to states and counties, assignments, waiting lines, limits on prescriptions etc.? Only those of us who have worked in military hospitals, who have faced combat in veterans hospitals, those who have seen the audacity of social service bureaucracy can realize that the genetic modification of plants and animals will not compare to the modification of human beings under absolute government control. It took one man, Barney Frank, antagonized totally as he has sought to carry out the “gay agenda” to confuse, distort, and destroy the housing mortgage market. It will only take one Pelosi or her ilk to destroy the last vestige of liberty in a once “freedom loving” America.

Write down your memories of America before the beginning of the 21st century. One day, it may bring comfort to you. Once, in Belgrade Yugoslavia, an older woman said to me, when she was cleaning my room, “I wish you could have known this country when it was free...before Tito...before Communism. I had a beautiful home, a husband and children. My husband was shot because he protested the Communist takeover. I don't know what happened to my two children, they just disappeared from the world, and me, I am a slave of the government.”

"The Moving Finger writes: and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it."
Omar Khayyam

I have been accused of being too negative. My consolation to you, this day, and I so need it myself, “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Work Sets You Free

#426

Work Sets You Free

When I was beginning my adventure into the buying and selling of real estate, one of the few investments in the world in which you can depend, the tax rate was set in mills. One mill is one-thousandth of a dollar, or one-hundredth of a penny. As Governor Charles Aycock said in his book, you raise taxes a few mills at a time, and no one realizes it. The mill was established in the Coinage Act of 1792. In 1972, President Nixon established it as millage and from that time to this, the entire tax system has been confused at best. Your tax rate is not right according to the mills established in history by the Coinage Act. But, the politicians who would have to correct the matter, are only too anxious to pick your pockets in tax assessments to correct the matter, which could be corrected by multiplying your tax rate by .002. Most people work their entire lives investing so they can see some freedom from work. You should realize that when your children are born, they immediately are suppressed and come under the oppression of taxation. A child born this morning owes the government $250,000.

Once, attending a meeting at the Fount Bleau Hotel near Miami Beach, in the coffee shop, I overheard one Jewish man say to another, “What are you going to do with all your money?”. The other replied, “I hope it will allow me to do nothing.”

The most famous sign in history was the sign over the entrance to hell in Dante's Inferno, which read, “Last Chance”. The most evil sign in human history, was the sign over the Auschwitz death camp, which read, “Work Sets You Free”. For the 6 million Jews (275,000 disabled), who were exterminated at such death camps, no mattered how hard they worked for the Nazis, they were still exterminated. This sign was stolen last week, supposedly to sell to some Neo-Nazis in Poland. The five men who stole it have been arrested. The sign had been cut into three pieces. I remember, going through the horrendous Holocaust facility at Auschwitz... The graves marked by the Star of David, and the graves marked by some Christian crosses. I have been through the Holocaust memorial in Israel, and have studied this darkest period in world history. From what I have studied, it is inconceivable to imagine man's inhumanity to man. The very idea of a sign telling condemned people that work will set you free. A race of people that has been awarded more Nobel prizes for science and literature. Once, Lewis Pasteur, the premier scientist of his time was on a train in Germany. Pasteur, a Catholic, was praying with his rosary. A young man across from him looked over and said, “Surely sir, you do not believe in these religious fairy tails?” Pasteur said to him, “Yes, it is time for me to get off this train. Here is my card, I'd like to explain my faith to you if you will come by my office.” The young man was amazed to have the card of the most famous scientist of his time.

Albert Einstein, a Jew, said the Christian religion was the most fascinating study he had ever made.

If you are to be free, whether Einstein, Pasteur, or the millions exterminated who were both Jewish and the disabled, you will find freedom ONLY by grace through faith in God's only son. John 8:31-32. This says it all, in this freedom, you can live with disability, any other disaster, or the chastening which most certainly will come to you. Hebrews 12:7, If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?.

Those who claim the name of Christ are not willing to endure chastening. Those who claim the name of Christ are not willing to endure the patriotic obligation of keeping country free. Those who claim the name of Christ do not love their children enough to protect their future from the scourge of an unjust government. Those who claim the name of Christ have damaged the reputation of our blessed Lord when their walk does not agree with their talk.

The two Bushes, one of the countries richest families, enjoyed talking about liberty and freedom for other countries. But were too engulfed in New Age philosophy and Wiccan sabbath, skull and bones, to defend their own country and their fellow citizens. The sell out now, is almost complete. It used to be said of a hard-working salesman or politician, “He could sell ice to Eskimos.” Now, we have a President and people in the world who will sell you air and force you to buy it. As the Jewish doctor said in the last sentence of Macbeth thinking of his treatment of lady Macbeth, “God help us all.”
