God's Biochemistry



Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe (Cor, 1:20-21).

Unbelief is the basis of all atheism, weak-pitiful mankind depending on self instead of depending on God. Most of the people I know want God in their image instead of them in the image of God. Christians beaten down by a pagan world, God becomes an antiquated idea. Even the inconceivability of real men having real wives and children. No one, even the wildest science fiction writer could have convinced my parents-grandparents that in this writer's lifetime, people of the same sex would get married, some in a church. Most of the people I know have their hand on the doorknob of the door of faith but never open the door enjoying the grace, salvation of the Creator of the universe. " I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was" (John, 17:4-6).

Aldous Huxley's, Brave New World said we will teach people to love their slavery. For the 21st century Christian, those whom you would change, you must first learn to love and you must let them know that you love them. This applies to the physician, the pastor, the professor and most of all to the parent.

There is nothing like the power of images in changing people. Truly, "one picture is worth a thousand words." You cannot understand the horrors of abortion until you have seen one. In another article, I have described my images when I saw an abortion in the operating room of a United States army hospital where I was on staff... those little hands, little feet taken from the womb of a "mother." In my lifetime, when I was in school, we were embarrassed to even speak of abortion. Now, people sneeze and wheeze toward any healthcare facility, wanting an antibiotic or drug for anything. I can tell you that all today's major diseases were unheard of just 60 years ago: Cancer, Parkinson's, Diabetes, Autism, Vascular Diseases (the greatest cause of death), etc.

Like your automobile garage, like shopping for everything, eBay, Amazon, etc. life's activities have become a recipe book, your a slave of nanotechnology. Your doctor, he is more a dunce than a dynamo, spends more time with his hands on his computer keys than he does your body. For him, it is simply a matter of symptoms here-drugs there. When did your doctor ask you what you eat, nutrition. No one talks of cures, only treatments. In Europe, 50% of the population will die of Cancer. Just recently, the Society of Oncology in Spain, stated that 50% of all babies are born with cancer (Sputnik International, 2015). We were not there when 5,000 Jews were gassed in the death chambers at Auschwitz every few hours, everyday. Some do not believe that this Holocaust actually happened, but we are here now, when 3,000 babies are aborted each day. The Holocaust of OUR lifetime (56 million since the infamous Supreme Court decision of 1973). Just this week, I am celebrating the birth of my first great grandchild (Olivia, 8 pounds, 4 ounces). Her precious parents, grandparents, great grandparents so happy over this precious child. In 1964, Psychiatrist Eric Berne wrote the book Games People Play. This writer is so tired of people playing games... just going through the motions, whether "sick care", patriotism, political deceit or pretenders in the pulpit or pew.

I have written at length about my online selling activity. I started many years ago with marvelous items I have brought back from world travels (Dr. Morris has made 8 around the world trips, traveled every continent, passports stamped in 157 countries). I then sold my Civil War and large antiquarian book collections. Able to employ college students, etc., we enjoy going to yard sales, thrift stores, where we buy items which we can sell for profit... raw capitalism. Money from this business as well as my other enterprises has helped me to help others with college scholarships, church progress, no secret to anyone.

This past Saturday, one of my assistants told me there was a church yard sale to benefit Haiti (Grace Baptist Church, Highway 40, Wilmington, NC). The sale was held in the large church's fellowship hall. In the past, I have met members of that congregation, an independent Baptist church. I do not sit in judgment of anyone, certainly not a church, but I was amazed-surprised that my driver and I walked through the facility where much "stuff" was displayed (none of which I could resell) and not one person in that large hall spoke to us, not even to a "Good Morning." (More amazing, since it was cold, I was wearing my veterans cap, medical caduceus, rank, patches showing DAV-Korea, etc.) I was wearing a very nice overcoat. On all my coats-jackets, I wear a Christian cross. I want everyone to know whose side I am on. As my only child, son, PHD, Seminary Professor said after I told him about the incident, "low hanging fruit" (Psalm, 92).

That day, at the next yard sale, I was immediately recognized as the blind doctor who talks on the radio (Lieutenant Colonel Morris is a totally blind, 100% disabled, service connected, 85 year old Medical Officer Veteran). The matter I am trying to impress, God is honored by our Christian attitude-testimony, even in a church facility. As a poet said, "If iron rusts, what do you expect gold to do?"

The writer has two grandsons, an attorney and an engineer. Like their Seminary Professor father and his wife, both former SBC foreign missionaries all living in Fort Worth, Texas, were here visiting me. I invited several people to lunch. One pastor sitting across from me, while the grandsons were on either side of me said, "I hope you boys are as great as he thinks you are", talking about me. I wish, in God's Biochemistry, he could instill in me and others, the greatness he expects.

After my mother's death, my driver would drive my car up into the countryside to visit my father, still living at the home place. My driver, would say every time, "He will be sitting on the front porch watching for you", and so he was, waiting and watching. We would take him out to eat, visit some relatives, etc. My prayer, from a very imperfect man, people who profess will not have those who possess watching and waiting for them. Whether patients, patrons, parents, mechanics or even matrons who know how to flex the computer keys. The Christian life is not complicated, just demanding and tough. Faith is 90% raw courage, the courage to fight battles even though the war has been won.

Wall of Shame



At the Holocaust memorial Yad Vashem, near Mount Herzl, Jerusalem, for the millions who died in the Holocaust, among the Hall of Names where you find the names of and testimony about the many who died, you will find a wall “Righteous Among the Nations” where those who helped the Jews in WWII are listed. A Wall of Shame has been proposed, where the names of those who helped in the Holocaust, or remained neutral, such as Pope Pius XII.


Even in America, FDR was criticized because he did not allow the bombing of the railroad tracks leading into the death camps at Auschwitz and Dachau. As horrible as the Holocaust of WWII was...the gas chambers, slave labor, not only the killing of the Jews, but the killing of the disabled, even today we find warfare in full horror.


The latest Obama fiasco, attacks on Libya using the “foil of oil”. Libya is the richest country on the African continent, one of the world's great oil reserves. Up until the recent attacks, Gaddafi was bargaining with America for military supplies. Evidently, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing, because others saw Gaddafi attempting to initiate a new currency backed by gold. Gaddafi, the owner of 143 tonnes of gold in his bank, was having trouble with the IMF, cyber warfare and OPEC. Slaves bombing slaves...American service people uninformed about what they are doing, Gaddafi loyalists and protesters with nothing to gain from either side; all just attempting to survive.


Americans have increased difficulty understanding the hypocrisy of our involvement in North Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The Bilderbergers, meeting in San Meritz, Switzerland, the globalists, one world government, the bankers of the world...all trying to circumnavigate common man's unrest with a hedge of enslavement. With the common man's access to technology (internet, cell phones, television), the “big I, little u” mentality of the elitist governments, the domination by the bankers and powerbrokers of the world becomes more difficult in a time of Wikileaks, daily hacking and the incredulity threats through acts of God (ash from volcanoes, earthquakes, tornadoes) and the knowledge for even the most uneducated, that hunger separates men from drones and meltdown.


In 1960, following activities with the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade, I became active in the Worker's Rights Organization (WRO). My interest and activity in this group was activated by anger at the way American veterans are treated. Next to slavery, the greatest shame of this nation is its treatment of disabled veterans and handicapped citizens. My entire lif, I had witnessed the disgraceful treatment of sharecropping tenant farmers, cotton-mill workers, ravished/enslaved day-laborers in eastern North Carolina.


It would be difficult to determine who cared less about the disenfranchised of the state: the Democrat party which had been in power since 1900 or the Baptist churches who just looked the other way. Veterans and the disabled (blind, deaf, crippled, etc.) were lucky to get a few crumbs from the table. Cotton-mill workers (and there was a cotton mill owned by a wealthy family living on the hill) in every town of any size, tenant farmers robbed at tobacco auction markets, blacks experiencing the worst of discrimination attempting to elicit welfare rights legislation from a disgruntled, decadent legislature was discouraging. The only thing these democrat legislators wanted were the votes of these despairing, poor, ignorant baptists and other evangelicals; and led by itinerant, ignorant preachers, they went in lock-step to the polls.


Saul Alinsky came on the scene and persuaded the black leadership to hang its futures on the coattails of the civil rights movement. So, after the coup-d'etat, the assassination of JFK establishing LBJ in the Presidency, the plight and fight of the black citizens was initiated. To these uninitiated, everything was, and still is, obscure. Even the black caucus in the congress, slow-learners, finding they are just used by the powerbrokers of the world.


It has taken time, only the most naive could imagine it happening this easily (the end justifies the means). Mr. Obama has been established in the White House, a man with no past. Private investigators are unable to find out anything about him, supposedly he attended Columbia University, but from interviews with 400 people there at the time, apparently no one remembers him. People do not remember him anywhere else in the world, as much as $100,000 has been offered as a reward for anyone who can give information about him.


Private investigators (people licensed by their state), knowing the realities of false information, with access to all law enforcement databases, have been unable to establish any knowledge about this man. Most of us are easily traced with our social security number. 042684425, reportedly Mr. Obama's number, assigned by the agency to Connecticut was first issued in 1890. Surely, at the hospital, reportedly his birthplace, if it could be proven, would have a big plaque stating that this is the birthplace of an American president. Nowhere do you find anything like this.


Easier than invading armies landing on our beaches, almost as easy as aliens crossing our borders...our infrastructure still intact, buildings still erect, harassed overtaxed citizens still working, we have been captured. The present electorate is a shame to our ancestry. Just down the streets from my house is a historic marker that states that George Washington spent the night there. Until a few years ago, until chemicals in our water supply, chemicals in the sky, chemicals in our food dumbed-down the nation, we would have rebelled at the shame of our easy captivity, surrendering without putting up a fight.

Abandoned




Today is Yom HaShoah, April 21, the day people worldwide remember the six million Jews killed in Hitler’s “great experiment” of eliminating the Jewish populous from Germany, Poland, and the surrounding countries.

On this date in 1965, I was sitting on some rocks by the Dead Sea talking with a remarkable older Jewish couple, both of whom were professors at the University of London, about the history of Israel and particularly the Dead Sea. This was their first trip to Israel and like me, (and I have been to Israel many times) one is never the same after visiting this Holy Land. The Dead Sea, the lowest point on the face of the earth and reputedly the location of Sodom, ancient city destroyed by God because of sin. (Ezekiel 47:8-9, Genesis 18, Zechariah 14:8). As was the case many times, when I visited the holy sites in Jerusalem, Hebron, Bethlehem, I wept openly that I had been privileged to visit these places where our blessed Lord had walked. I remember standing on the balcony of a hotel in Tiberius (and the manager had been kind enough to put this old blind man in a room at the top right, over the sea), my heart was thrilled as I thought of our Lord walking on the water there.

These two elderly German Jews, both victims of the Holocaust, were overcome with emotion, but they had so much empathy for me as they described the Dead Sea (1,248 ft deep, 42 miles long and 11 miles wide, 33.7% salinity). They wanted to make sure that I saw Masada, on an ancient cliff, the ruins of Herod’s palace, and so we went up on the cliff to Masada on cable car and they described the ancient artwork on the walls of the palace. ( It is significant to say here, that young Jewish military officers are required to scan the cliff on which Masada is located) It was in 70 AD that the last group of devoted Jews held out against the Roman legions, resulting in the death of all.

This Jewish couple from London was overcome with grief when they remembered their treatment in Auschwitz, where all of their family died in the German experiments conducted there. He said to me, with tears running down his face, “It was the mercy of God that brought the two of us out of Auschwitz and has allowed us to see these marvelous places.” When they learned that I was a disabled veteran, they both threw their arms around me and said, “It was not only the mercy of God, but the goodness of the people of the United States that we are alive.” I wish I could have shared with these two, a blessed Christian promise, when our Lord returns, and His feet touch the Mount of Olives, an opening will be made to the Dead Sea, and the salty water will become sweet.

Again, while traveling in Panama, I met another Jewish couple, Holocaust survivors, who still had their numbers tattooed on their left arms. Who, at the time, were living in Minneapolis. They shared with me details of their torture, which makes me want to throw-up when I hear the crocodile tears of liberal newscasters in this country, at this time, talking about how terrorist are treated with their nice food and nice accommodations at the POW camp in Cuba (GITMO). Those prisoners are treated better then this old 100% disabled veteran and from the reports, made public, eat much better than I do.

I traveled with this couple in South America to Rio de Janeiro, because I would eventually wind up in Buenos Aires. They wanted me to meet one of their friends, who was an artist in Rio, a survivor of Auschwitz, since they had never before met a blind art collector.  I did buy two paintings from him and I have since sold them in California.  But, one of the most remarkable experiences of my life, since I could not see the abuse, this artist pulled of his shirt and wanted me to feel the healed welts and broken bones of his back, dealt him by Nazi guards. I was dealing with Jewish people but I wanted to say to him, another Jew, perhaps the most brilliant man of the Middle East, educated at Tarsus, a remarkable conversion, stoned, beaten, shipwrecked, and at last beheaded, had as his remarkable testimony, “I bear in my body the marks of our Lord Jesus.” (Galatians 6:17)  Paul, who gave us sixteen books of our New Testament, went through, perhaps the first holocaust. When I have toured several Holocaust museums, when I saw a large piece of soap in a synagogue in North Africa made from the very flesh of Jews in the Holocaust, I thought of Lincoln's words at Gettysburg, “The world will not long remember what happened here.”

In this world of isolation due to total blindness, I listen to several radios and I am keenly aware of how little the people of this country prize their democratic republic, the opportunity available to everyone, the individuals, both military and civilian, who have given so much to make it possible and I weep with the knowledge of the unconcern of most citizens, even the members of my own family and the friends who know me best.

For many years, I have been writing of my experiences as a disabled citizen, as a world traveler, as a committed Christian. For many years, pithy letters were published in newspapers, knowledgeable articles were published in disability, religious and political magazines (Command, Help and Food, Christianity Today).  But, with the takeover of politically correct, liberal atheist politicians and media writers, there is no room for anything decent about, anything anymore, nor is their interest in the knowledge of those who have “been there and done that.”

From years of Bible study, historical investigation, to say nothing of my academic scientific scholarship, we now have a nation of illiterate intellect. In my world of business, real estate, securities and other interest in which even a blind man can excel, I asked one of my book keepers, “Why is it that these people who work for me have so little respect for me.”  She said, “They have no respect for anyone, not even their own parents.” 

On that day, when the Vietnam war was in full protest and I was still in the hospital, a Korean conflict veteran, mostly students and others from Chapel Hill (where I had graduated) and at Duke University, were in the streets. I was on the second floor of the Duke Eye Center (still undergoing eye surgery which was finally finished at Massachusetts Eye Infirmary) directly across the street from the veterans hospital, when a black nurse in terrible terms, told this patient in the bed, how much she hated the military and then proceeded to spit on me.  Shortly after, my mother and sister, after a long trip, had arrived, cleaned me up and then made arrangements to get me out of Duke hospital, when Dr. Banks Anderson Jr assured us that nothing like that would happen again. I knew then, just I am more certain now, than ever that the Holocaust, not just against Jews, but in this country, against everything that is decent is already going on without furnaces. On this Memorial day to the six million Jews who were slaughtered in the death chambers of Hitler, we should remember the holocaust of the most innocent of life, small babies, killed at the rate of 3,500 each day in the abortion industry of this nation, largely financed through planned parenthood and by your tax dollars. 

I am one of the fortunate ones, lived a long life, known the success of business and, though blind, have sensed the smells and sounds of an exciting world which our Creator made for us. I have stood in the great cemetery in the Philippians where over 17,000 are buried, I have stood in the great cemetery of Normandy where over 9,000 are buried. We gave what we did for your right of free speech and all the other rights of the American citizens.

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

Irena Sendler

Addition by Dr. Morris: And you think you are a patriot, a Christian? We know nothing of this woman's religious belief, whether she was a conservative or liberal, we do what we do because we believe what we believe. To you Democrats out there who vote for abortion, this woman believed in saving precious life. To you Democrats who think you love animals, hear dog helped her save life. Human beings are the only animals who kill their young, the lower animals fight for their young with whatever they have...in the African bush, the Zebras fight for their young with their hooves. The mother hen fights for her young with her wings and beak. The feline fights for their young with their claws. Hitler put 275,000 disabled to death, in his book burning, cleansing of libraries, the first book on his list was Helen Keller's biography, written in 1904.

There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive' ... She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids.) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises. During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted. Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize...she was not selected. Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming.

Shame

I attended the Republican Nation Convention at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in 1964 when that great American, Barry Goldwater, was nominated for President. Of course, like Barabbas (thief released because the people preferred Christ to die on the cross instead), the deceived voters chose the mafia type figure, Lyndon Johnson, for President...a man who went to Washington poor but left Washington with $53 million.

At another Republican convention, General Colin Powell said that the word "shame" is a lost word in most vocabularies. Once a people of character, the American people no longer are shamed by anything. A candidate for President, a candidate for Vice President, the U.S. Senator from North Carolina (famed, crooked, rich, lawyer John Edwards) finally admits fathering a child by one of his campaign workers. Just as shameful, he and his lawyer wife went before the cameras, after she learned she had cancer, and vowed together to keep on the fight for a "better America". Reverend Jesse Jackson had no shame admitting to fathering a child by one of his staff. Mr. Tiger Woods, now in sex rehabilitation, seems to have no problems with his many mistresses. (I wonder what sex rehabilitation treatment consists? Probably, schmoozing with fat, ugly females to cure his attraction to women). Reverend Al Sharpton, minister of the Gospel, seemed not to be at all shamed by Tiger's adultery. In his news conference, he was upset because Tiger was not attracted to "black girls".

“Shame”, as well as “concern”, are two lost words in the vocabulary of most citizens. Otherwise, we would be much more careful in the voting booth, selecting school teachers, hiring church pastors, parenting children. There was a time when mothers would fall over in shame at a daughter dressed like a hooker, decorated with tattoos and body piercings. There was a time when a father would be shamed by a son arrested for illegal drug activity, dressed like a male prostitute, and afraid to climb a ladder to help repair his house.

A sign at the entrance to Auschwitz death camp read, "Work makes you free". This is the last sign millions of Jews saw before extermination in the death camp. Leaving an airport in India I will never forget a sign on the highway, "Be nice to your tax collector, he is your friend". Can one even imagine the shame of this sign in poverty stricken India, where the average pay for the working class is just a few dollars a day? Most of the poverty of the world is below the 30th parallel. Africa, ravished by unbelievable poverty (I have traveled through the 42 countries of the African continent many times), lends itself to migration North. Since Italy is the nearest European country to Africa, many strive for Italy. The Pope, this week, visited the oldest synagogue in Europe, in Rome, where poverty suppressed Judaism for centuries. The 15,000 Jews and a gulag once surrounded by walls where the gates were closed at night. Only twice in history has a Pope gone inside a synagogue. I was at the Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem. One wall contains the “Righteous Among the Nations”, where gentiles who assisted the Jews in the WWII holocaust are listed. On another wall, a wall of shame, are listed the names of gentiles who assisted the Nazis during the WWII Holocaust. Pope Pius XII is on the wall of shame. Every Jew, every American, most Catholics, knows that it is a shame that the Catholic Church, knowing what was going on in Hitler's Germany, did not do more. Antisemitism grew out of the Catholic church. Why was not the Italian dictator, (war partnership with Hitler) Benito Mussolini, never excommunicated from the Catholic church even though he was married to his mistress before his death in Saint Peters?

Shame comes in many colors; no one can understand how and why. Over my long life of employing people on whom I must depend, treating them as well as I know how to treat anyone, so much thievery goes on in my house. One young man, just out of the US Navy, after leaving my employment, had seen some change in a bag in the console of my car. He came back and broke into my car. I would gladly have given him the change rather than pay for the repair.

A totally blind friend, blind from birth, living alone, aged with arthritis, still trying to take care of herself, actually crawling up and down the stair steps (not one government agency doing anything, she was able to hire one person to come in once a week to bring groceries to her), hired a man to come and paint her patio table and 4 chairs. He charged her $369. I'm sure he used at least 2 cans of white spray paint. To the uninitiated everything is obscure. She knew nothing about fair pricing...called me and asked me if he did not charge her too much. I said to her, “Call him and tell him to bring back $250 of your money and if he does not, tell him I will take out a warrant on him myself.” Another construction man charged her a ridiculous amount to re-tile her kitchen floor...these things go on all the time. I still remember the piece of crap...a used typewriter...that a typewriter company sold my parents for use at our church. The older I have become the more I am convinced that some people are born without a conscience. We are taught that, "God loves everyone, red, yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight", I find much righteous conflict with that!

Before President Obama left on his trip to China, a Chinese lawyer appealed to him about the forced abortions in China. After the Obama China visit, the lawyer's wife and children were thrown into a Chinese prison simply because this Chinese father refused to quell behind the iron fisted enslavement of communist death culture practices and, like a real man, attempt the salvation of lives...even in this God forsaken country. You can be sure that the shame of America, the country's President, did nothing and said nothing about human rights in China.

Courage




My first trip to Germany was after World War II. Much of the rebuilding was already underway, but the destruction of Berlin, where the plane had landed and I had gone through immigration, was evident everywhere. I had made the acquaintance of a couple, man and wife, from Minneapolis and would travel with them again in South America. They had both survived Auschwitz, and each still had their enslavement numbers as German Jews, tattooed on their upper left arm. When our vehicle went into the city and they got near the street on which they had lived as children, and from which they had been hauled away to the death chambers, both began to weep and I realized, as I had never realized previously, the depth of hurt that the human physche can endure and which can escape when face-to-face with the love of country and the love of family.

Later, on the same trip, an older black man approached me in a restaurant, because he detected my southern accent. His story was almost as heartbreaking as the Jewish couple who had survived Auschwitz. During World War I, he had come to Germany with the American army as a civilian, because blacks were not used as soldiers in the military during World War I. He had been used in a transportation type facility in Berlin and had decided to stay after the war because he had met and married a German girl. In our conversation, as one finds in most conversations with strangers, you early surmise the spiritual side of your new acquaintance. He said that he and his wife were members of a Protestant church located near a railroad station in Berlin. He said, even on Sunday mornings, while in church they could hear the screams of the German Jews as they were loaded on the cattle cars, being taken as slave labor to the I.G. Farben chemical plants near Auschwitz where, as we now know, they were worked until they were almost dead and then their bodies were disposed in the death chambers of Auschwitz. He said,” as the cars passed on the tracks to drown out the screams, we would just sing louder.” Later, they would tell the organist to play louder. He said, “Right under our noses, right under a church that should have been concerned, our fellow human beings were being hauled away like cattle to certain death, and we did nothing about it.”

For those who are daily witnessing the downfall of this republic we have the downfall of the Weirmar Republic and the establishment of Hitler's Third Reich as a glaring example of what can happen when the “SPELL” of “change” and the desire of something “new” has taken over the mentality of a country such as Nazism took over Germany and Bolshevism took over Russia, Cuba and China. Remember, Bolshevism in the long history of Russia only lasted 37 years. Remember, in the long history of Germany with its great scientists, musicians, and most of the intelligentsia of the world, Nazism only lasted 20 years. A blight of diseased thinking can overcome a people just as a blight of a disease pathogen can overcome a healthy people.

In the congress of the United States, on October 4, 2003, Rep. Cynthia McKinney, of Georgia, said, “George W. smirks, Dick Cheney sneers, Rumsfeld jokes, Powell blusters, Rice lies.” This is not the first time that Americans have been insulted by critics. The country's most popular president; the country's most memorable address was described as follows by the Chicago Times: “The cheeks of every American must tingle with shame as he reads the silly, flat, and dishwatery utterances."

In 1999, John Cornwell, British author wrote the book Hitler's Pope which examines the actions of Pope Pius XII during the Nazi era and explores the charge that he assisted in the legitimization of Hitler's Nazi regime in Germany through the pursuit of a Reichskonkordat in 1933. It is certain that Pope Pius knew about the deaths of 275,000 German citizens (even before the 6 million Jewish Holocaust deaths) and the genocide of these citizens because they were disabled and old. Hitler, a student of Karl Marx and Margaret Sanger, all proponents of euthanasia and abortion, dispassionately witnessed the slaying of fellow human beings. Are we, as American citizens, any better? I

n our lackadaisical silliness for comfort we are apathetic as such politicians as McKinney, the media such as the Chicago paper speaking of the Gettysburg Address, religious leaders such as Pius XII and even your very neighbors support with their money and vote at the voting booth for such evil forces as those operating in your county, state and national government. We say nothing while three thousand babies are killed everyday. We said nothing when old people, in nursing homes, were left to drown in their beds during the Katrina disaster. 90% OF CHRISTIAN FAITH IS JUST RAW COURAGE. Forget the media, forget the church, forget your “do-gooder” civic groups. They know nothing of courage. The only courageous hands available are yours.

Early in my professional career, as editor of a professional journal, I was severely criticized for pointing out the metal Quonset Hut type buildings in which many of us were educated following World War II. Many of us had survived in such facilities during the wars. These surplus buildings were used on the university campus at Chapel Hill and many other schools. Much of my education was attained in barrack-type buildings such as those used at military installations and in which we received an education. Even though, at times, (this was before the time of air conditioning in any building) sweat would drop off our elbows into a puddle onto the floor. My criticism, then as now, air conditioned, carpeted classrooms have done little to improve the education product of our schools, lower grades or universities. Most of us survived un-air conditioned homes, most with heat in only one room.

Many children laugh when you say this, but most of us walked to school. Even after His crucifixion and resurrection, our blessed Lord walked six miles from Jerusalem to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35 ) discussing the history of the world with Cleopas (the other man's name we do not know). In fact, our Lord walked everywhere. It surprises most young people that the first telephone in the world, was in the white house during the presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes in 1876. It shocks many young people in today's world of cell phones and laziness in the extreme that I was reared in a community in which only one telephone existed within miles (at my cousin's country store).

The DNA molecule in every cell in the trillions of cells in every human body contains thousands of pages of family history. Your family had the courage to battle not only the enemies of this nation but weather and disease and discouragement. (The greatest weapon Satan has in his arsenal.) But, with courage, with compassion, a nation of promise and every possibility the mind of man can imagine had been presented to you. Character determines destination. We must believe that you have the character to protect and defend the constitution of this great nation. At one point in history, on Calvary, where two pieces of wood made a cross all the evil in the world converged and all the goodness of the world diverged. The choice is ours. In His graciousness He gave us liberty, free will. John 8:32

Work Sets You Free

When I was beginning my adventure into the buying and selling of real estate, one of the few investments in the world in which you can depend, the tax rate was set in mills. One mill is one-thousandth of a dollar, or one-hundredth of a penny. As Governor Charles Aycock said in his book, you raise taxes a few mills at a time, and no one realizes it. The mill was established in the Coinage Act of 1792. In 1972, President Nixon established it as millage and from that time to this, the entire tax system has been confused at best. Your tax rate is not right according to the mills established in history by the Coinage Act. But, the politicians who would have to correct the matter, are only too anxious to pick your pockets in tax assessments to correct the matter, which could be corrected by multiplying your tax rate by .002. Most people work their entire lives investing so they can see some freedom from work. You should realize that when your children are born, they immediately are suppressed and come under the oppression of taxation. A child born this morning owes the government $250,000.

Once, attending a meeting at the Fount Bleau Hotel near Miami Beach, in the coffee shop, I overheard one Jewish man say to another, “What are you going to do with all your money?”. The other replied, “I hope it will allow me to do nothing.”

The most famous sign in history was the sign over the entrance to hell in Dante's Inferno, which read, “Last Chance”. The most evil sign in human history, was the sign over the Auschwitz death camp, which read, “Work Sets You Free”. For the 6 million Jews (275,000 disabled), who were exterminated at such death camps, no mattered how hard they worked for the Nazis, they were still exterminated. This sign was stolen last week, supposedly to sell to some Neo-Nazis in Poland. The five men who stole it have been arrested. The sign had been cut into three pieces. I remember, going through the horrendous Holocaust facility at Auschwitz... The graves marked by the Star of David, and the graves marked by some Christian crosses. I have been through the Holocaust memorial in Israel, and have studied this darkest period in world history. From what I have studied, it is inconceivable to imagine man's inhumanity to man. The very idea of a sign telling condemned people that work will set you free. A race of people that has been awarded more Nobel prizes for science and literature. Once, Lewis Pasteur, the premier scientist of his time was on a train in Germany. Pasteur, a Catholic, was praying with his rosary. A young man across from him looked over and said, “Surely sir, you do not believe in these religious fairy tails?” Pasteur said to him, “Yes, it is time for me to get off this train. Here is my card, I'd like to explain my faith to you if you will come by my office.” The young man was amazed to have the card of the most famous scientist of his time.

Albert Einstein, a Jew, said the Christian religion was the most fascinating study he had ever made.

If you are to be free, whether Einstein, Pasteur, or the millions exterminated who were both Jewish and the disabled, you will find freedom ONLY by grace through faith in God's only son. John 8:31-32. This says it all, in this freedom, you can live with disability, any other disaster, or the chastening which most certainly will come to you. Hebrews 12:7, If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?.

Those who claim the name of Christ are not willing to endure chastening. Those who claim the name of Christ are not willing to endure the patriotic obligation of keeping country free. Those who claim the name of Christ do not love their children enough to protect their future from the scourge of an unjust government. Those who claim the name of Christ have damaged the reputation of our blessed Lord when their walk does not agree with their talk.

The two Bushes, one of the countries richest families, enjoyed talking about liberty and freedom for other countries. But were too engulfed in New Age philosophy and Wiccan sabbath, skull and bones, to defend their own country and their fellow citizens. The sell out now, is almost complete. It used to be said of a hard-working salesman or politician, “He could sell ice to Eskimos.” Now, we have a President and people in the world who will sell you air and force you to buy it. As the Jewish doctor said in the last sentence of Macbeth thinking of his treatment of lady Macbeth, “God help us all.”
