Nakedness

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20)

                                           

            The older I get the less I understand WHY, with only one life to live the way sane people will let their body go, knowing full well that what they put in their throat, their nutrition, determines their health... even their ability to fight disease. Incrementally, in my lifetime everything just gets worst. When I was a student, 70 years ago, cancer and diabetes were rare diseases. Today one half of the population have cancer and almost the same percentage have diabetes.

            This world traveler can tell you, without fear of contradiction, that there is only one nation in the world with so many obese-overweight people. Americans have a love affair with food, one in ten Americans say they spend 300$ a week on food.

            In one of my office buildings, one group of psychologists, fourteen rooms, a group specializing in eating disorders. When I was in practice, a patient talking to me about going on a diet, I would say, "There is only one effective diet. You must start eating each meal each day, for one week, with four other fat people. All of you eating your meal naked." There is nothing as ugly as a naked-flabby-fat individual. This is the reason clothing is so important, but I want to speak about nakedness.

            The earliest report of nakedness is found in scripture, when Moses and the three million children of Israel arrived at Mt. Sinai. Moses went up the mountain to converse with God, to receive the commandments. When he came down the mountain, those he had rescued from Egyptian bondage, were dancing around a gold calf naked.

            Nakedness has always been associated with sin, in every dark "strip joint," you will find nudity, even some beaches on haven islands. When this writer arrived on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, I put on my swimming trunks and went down to the hotel swimming pool. Everyone around the pool, except me, was naked. It is when you see nude ugly people, you'll appreciate clothing.

            I was sitting on the front porch of my beach house, on the ocean, with friends... one lady said to me, "Tom, I'm glad you cant see. There is a young girl in a bikini coming down the street and she seems to be eight months pregnant." Just the thought of such a sight, the thought of the disrespect to others at the beach, young children, her baby, I went into my house and vomited into my kitchen sink.

            And yet, our not thinking-concerned-committed church goers, even Christians, even in America... not showing the nakedness of themselves in their unconcern for what is happening to our nation... to the world.

            Think of the unequivocal evil, the burning alive of a Jordanian pilot in a cage, in Syria. Closer to home, think of the evil involved in planned parent hood, "chopped up" innocent babies... selling tissue and body parts.

            My seminary professors son told me that recently he was asked to speak at a large Texas church, located in a county seat. He said the church, which would seat hundreds, only had a small plump of about 20 people there just on one side of the building. Their church had died and these remaining old members did not seem to realize it, unconcerned that there was no young people in the church. Unconcerned about the great commission. In Shakespeare's "Hamlet"... "to thine own self be true." (Act 1) Generally speaking, everyday of my life, we lose ground. Only about ten percent of the population are interested in changing things: most of us hiding behind a shell of deceit, not even realizing the controls media, government, political correction, envy for popularity and acceptance, has on our life.

            We know about corruption, we just want to blame the wrong corrupter. "Ye that love the LORD, hate evil." (Psalm 97:10)

        

Mind Over Mattress

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass  withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: (Peter 1:24).

No airplane can do what a sparrow does. God gave man the intelligence to build an airplane. But, a plane is a very poor substitute for the maneuvering of a sparrow. AND, "God knows every sparrows fall" (Matthew 10:29). 

This writer doubts very seriously if God knows pity on the fighter pilot who shows no pity on his adversary.

In the lifetime of this old man, in spite of the wisdom of man, I have daily seen the portrait painted, pertaining the survival of mankind. Today, a few days after the Summer solstice, 2015 (the two moments during the year when the path of the Sun in the sky is farthest north in the Northern Hemisphere (June 20 or 21) or farthest south in the Southern Hemisphere (December 21 or 22)). The US Supreme Court handed down the most diabolical decision ever made in the history of America, Destroying the sanctity of marriage, the first established sacredness of God, after he designed human beings of different sex, man and women. 

Satan, always ready to take advantage of a situation, using the agenda of perverts, using the agenda of population control, has now forced upon the American people, forced acceptance of same sex marriage. We will see how long it takes the Liberal Theologians, the social religionists, those that have always found that with Christianity, as well as with the business world, as with international diplomacy, you go along to get along, the mantra of political correctness. 

Just yesterday, I lunched with two officials from a Baptist children's home. We discussed the phenomenon of orphans and foster care. I expressed to them the supernatural phenomenon, that I have observed my entire life, the bonding of children with their biological parents. We read and study about abuse in a home. Abuse of children by parents. And yet, there is an indescribable bond dynamic between a child and parent. As they said to me, "No matter how bad the home, no matter how good the foster home or the orphanage, the child still wants to return home."

"No matter how horrible has been the abuse of a parent, physical- psychological- sexual, the child will not talk of it, and still wants to return home." It makes no difference how many men another man will marry or, how many women another women might marry, no two men and no two women can produce a child. And certainly not a child with a bond between them. 

The most mixed up young man I have ever known in my long life, and many such young people have worked for me, both in the military service, and in civilian life, the most mixed up- confused- seething in decadents, was a young man raised by two lesbians. This pretender president, these pretending politicians, want to talk about love. If you want to see real love, parents for a retarded, or terminal sick child. If you want to see real love, as I have several times in my life, a husband who cares for a terminal sick wife, or a wife who cares daily for a husband with Alzheimer's.

God, in his infinite wisdom, we need not ask why... It is his business. Will have some people live a long time... Cant live, wont die. 

One of my friends, his wife at home, small children in school, he holding down a regular job at Sears, had a bed ridden wife. A neighbor or family member would go into their home and check on her during the day. But it was up to him to care for her otherwise (bathing, medicine, physiological stability). It was up to him to clean the house, clean the children, cook the meals, he had a full time job night and day. But he loved her and his children to much to let up one minute. As in our relationship with God, it is a love affair every minute, 1440 minutes in a day, everyday.

You don't think about vacations or retirement. 

I still remember the time before nursing homes, hospice care, even the present day methods of sanitation. It was the challenge of a husband- wife, other family members, concerned neighbors, concerned church members, to keep life worth while to those in a rapid retreat from life. 

This employer has had his fill of young people, who know nothing but cheap love- cheap sex- expensive addictions. I have known too many who, would rather lay on the bed and sleep after a night of carousing, boozing, addictive happy hour behavior, instead of getting up, going to work, and making a living.

This world traveler has seen, from one side of the world to the other, flora (weeds- bushes- trees), growing from cracks in rocks... Roots just stretching down towards nourishment. Loving life, reaching towards the sun. This is real love... Love of life. 

Every night of my life, I sleep on a very old, four poster bed. This is the bed in which my grandparents and parents slept... Normal people, male and female. Human beings who had enough love for life, to produce children, and more important, to raise their children.

The Supreme Court can issue as many edicts as it wishes. But no court house will ever change the love bond existing between parents and children, God and his precious children, precious human life, his chief creation.  

When the Music Stops

She had worked at Duke hospital handling medicare and medicaid forms. Attractive, 19, business school graduate, homesick for her parents. After working a while for me, she got a much better job at another doctor's office.

Two years later, I became involved when subpoenaed by her family's lawyer. The doctor-employer for whom she worked was 30 years her senior, but still a good looking, well built man. He and his wife were wealthy, she one of the city's best known realtors. Her doctor-employer seduced her and she became pregnant (my former employee). The doctor and his wife were childless and she, stupid as most young girls believed him when he told her he would divorce his wife for her. About 3 months pregnant, not yet showing, she came and talked to me about the situation. There are several non-negotiables in my faith - abortion, same-sex marriage, homosexuality, lesbian preachers. I told her she had NO CHOICE but to have the baby. I would help her find a place to stay, in Durham during gestation, then she could put the baby up for adoption. Her doctor-employer insisted she have an abortion, so afraid his wife might someday discover the truth. This should have told her how much he cared for her. She had the abortion in a nearby city, and that very week, her doctor-employer was killed in an automobile crash. From all appearance, it was suicide but, insurance paid off... tremendously.

The rest of the story, she became a total mental cripple, dependent on her parents. She just sat around all day in a rocking chair as if she were rocking a baby. The parents, knowing the full story, needed financial help... so a trial. The wife handled the trial well but the doctor's mother was a disaster... she so wanted a grandchild, from her only child, now dead. On the stand, I told everything, amazed that the judge allowed some of my words, I decided to see just how far the judge would let me go. His mother was looking straight at me, bewildered that her doctor, son would seduce a young girl. I said, “The grandchild you so wanted was killed by an abortionist.” Ads in the newspaper said, I created chaos in the courtroom, the judge banging with his gavel, the dead doctor's mother screaming. In a desert of Godlessness, the rot of sin destroys many lives.

And, speaking of doctors, healing, the medical caduceus which I wore on my uniform as an Army medical officer, the emblem of healing in the healthcare world started with people who did not obey.

Moses, leading two and 1/2 million Jews, 400 years slaves in Egypt, miracle after miracle (red sea on dry land not a sick one among them (Psalm 105) Shoes and clothing that did not wear out. Pillar of fire above them) started complaining about the food that God was providing for them. IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT WHAT YOU BITE, GOD MAY SEND SOMETHING TO BITE YOU. God sent fiery serpents, biting them, many died. At least they had sense enough to go to Moses and admit their sin. God told Moses to put a brass serpent on a pole, all they had to do was look at it for healing. (a shadow of things to come, Christ on a tree, atonement not only for sin but for healing – Isaiah 53)

The “rot”, the reason the music has stopped, (guidance and blessings of God) slothfulness and envy. Christians cannot criticize occupiers, the 50% of the population living on welfare, the 54% of the population living on entitlements... most moochers envious of others, when the producers are becoming more and more lazy... grown men in the best years of their lives, messing around on golf courses-playing video games.

God has pulled back the curtain, revealing just how rotten civilization has become. Do we really believe it was more rotten before 5000 BC and the flood of Noah?

Recently, in a “gay pride” parade, political Icons were marching behind members of the NAMBLA (man boy/love association) Perhaps this is the answer at Penn State. Can one imagine a 28 year old academic, Mike Mcqueery, not interfering with a disgusting site in a locker room shower? Can one imagine university officials not coming down hard on Jerry Sandusky... just letting, according to grand jury testimony, this matter fester for 15 years as the cheerleaders-and the band music played on? The anti-Christian, anti-God, state-contolled, secular, humanist, news media, would have you believe that the entire world has gone SEX CRAZY and everyone should just accept perversion as a way of life. Clare Boothe Luce, congresswomen, writer, wife of Life magazine's Henry Luce said, “there are two groups of people in the world, the optimists and the pessimists, the pessimists are much better informed”. This writer has been accused of negativity, perhaps, because, I am better informed.

America's problems are beyond politics. Today's unbelievers did not invent despising God. Hell is full of God's enemies awaiting final judgment. It is too late for them, but before YOUR music stops, from the rot of sin and rejection, and, since judgment begins at the house of God (1Peter 4:17), protesters, pretenders, provocateurs should look around and take note.

Cooking Frogs

I doubt if there is an American living who has not heard the illustration concerning cultural changes as compared to putting a frog in a pan of hot water. If you put a frog in a pan of boiling water he will jump out, but, if you put a frog in a pan of cool water and slowly build up the heat to boiling, you will cook the frog and he will never realize whats happened.

So it is, with our country in my lifetime incremental changes until now we realize that we are living in a different country... A different world. Evil has become good unacceptable has become acceptable, bad manors are just expected the rare has become common place.

This morning, I went to my doctor for my regular appointment. Not even the old military hospital, the old veterans hospital, the old psychiatric hospital treated patients as shabbily as its common place in most doctors offices today. You are called at least twice ahead of time to make sure you will remember your appointment then, when you get there, check in, the most important thing... Not your well being, your health... Rather payment all office activity surrounds a identification card... Insurance government identifications etc. I have all my identification cards, military information, veterans information on sheets of paper which I leave everywhere. They never seem to keep information evidently they just throw such information away.

One of my employees must drive my car. One of these bright doctors assistants walked out and said, “Dr. Morris how did you get here?” It is obvious to anyone that has ever seen me that I am totally blind I said, “ I drove”. One, said to me recently, after she had helped me find a chair in the examining room, taking information, said, “do you still drive?” This morning, the doctor made a complete ass of himself in some of the questions that he asked, I told him about one of his fellow practitioners, a member of his same specialty who, before I came to him, had given me a “sham injection”(just sticking a needle in a person without any medication. Faking giving a shot) This happens more than most wants to realize. So many practices are just frauds... Getting good pay for nothing. I could go on and on about what I have experienced and what I have seen but, this is just another example of a gullible public accepting deteriorating health care practices... Perception becoming reality... But who cares, Insurance, government, someone else is paying the bill.

Even when you report malpractice to the group “supposedly” giving professional oversight and regulations. These “pier review” fellow practitioners (legal, medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, etc) are just there to cover up their fellow practitioners mistakes. It has to be so egregious that law enforcement become involved such as recently, medical drug pushing from a legal office in this city. One time, there was much journalistic information about a surgeon leaving a patient on the table, open, while he went to lunch. One doctor said, “I can tell you much more”

When are we going to awaken to what has happened to our country... It's most important, fundamental practices and professions.

Some believe in the fraud (and he spent almost a million dollars trying to convince the public and get elected) of this new black president. He sold the idea of “hope and change” 99% of the black people voted for him, 78% of the Jews voted for him, 54% Catholics voted for him. It is rare to find a young person any color, any description, who did not vote for him.

Things get worse everyday... Bail outs, sell outs, move outs, war fare and health care. This years budget is 3.8 trillion dollars we will borrow 1.6 trillion or 42% of the budget, worthless fiat currency mostly from china but where ever possible. Money just made up from thin air. If the economy stays as bad as predicted, another trillion will be borrowed. This will make 68% of the budget. Borrowed money, more than the entire gross national product... Like Iceland, Ireland, Greece, Spain and Portugal, any way you look at it, bankruptcy slowly, with few headlines, every man, woman , and child in this country owes to the government 48,000 dollars. 75 million adults in America have no retirement. The foreclosure rate will double this summer. The federal reserve is shipping dollars to Europe thinking that the American tax payer must save Europe now, also.

Obama will not tell you that we are in crisis... Economy banking health care two wars which we are losing.

I have never known a person to regret saving money, I have never known a person to regret taking care of his health, I have never known a person to regret having a child (there are more abortions under Obama, the worlds greatest promoter of abortions, then ever before in the history of man), I have never known a person to regret living a clean life (illegal drug activity, adultery, fornication, and pornography, the greatest sins of this generation), I have never know a person to regret getting a adequate education, I have never known a person to regret serving in the uniform of his country even though, very few anymore, appreciate his service.

incrementally, Americans have defrauded themselves in physical as well as spiritual survival.

God will not forgive a country that does not repent of its sins of commission or omission. Multiple thousands of our finest lye buried believing they were defending a god fearing country. They would not believe what has happened to their country just in my lifetime.

The most famous of all Russian poets, Alexander Pushkin, just before the Russian revolution said, “Graze on you sleeping cattle and sheep”.
