Speaking Truth

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).

Faith never judges god by circumstances. Faith is accepting what god gives us. Our faith should guide us through any circumstance, rather than calling on faith to get us through a circumstance. There is little in life more definitive than death. Although the mortality rate is still 100% we shun death. Every time we pass a cemetery, a funeral home, we realize the inevitability of death. When I was young, the Christian family wanted the Christian family members funeral at the church. The only funerals at the funeral home or graveside were those who were not a church member, who had never made a profession of faith. Now, expensive funerals- cheap families, most Christians have a cheap funeral. The church member, faithful in life to a church, should have their funeral at their church. So it cost more, what better way for a family to spend?

Our world is in a state of confusion. majoring on minor things. A famous nursery rhyme, "Alice in Wonderland", "It makes no difference which road you take if you don't know were you are going." often majoring in minor things, confusion, we are afraid to speak the truth about anything. The world has become politically correct... The pastor as well as the politician. God will surely hold that preacher- pastor accountable, who can stand week after week in front of a congregation, when he knows full well that most of the people to who he is preaching, are just pretending.

One of my pastor friends told me about a recent experience with a death in his church family. One couple in his church had one son, who as a teenager after having been raised in church, took the route of unbelief, settled into a life of drugs, in denial of everything Christian. His family, his parents were unable to reach him in his fall into the bottomless pit of sins... Sin of every type, particularly drugs. In and out of rehabilitation, no one could reach him. And finally, away from home, and the parents who loved him, he died of an overdose.

His parents asked their pastor if they could have his funeral at the church, they knew that he was well known in the community, not just because he was their son, but he was very popular with many young people. The pastor said, "Only on one condition, that you will allow me to say what needs to be said, and you, his parents, know what that is, that your son is in hell." They agreed.

Before a full house, after the parents had entered the church, front row, right in front of the casket, the pastor went down and hugged both parents. Then, he said to the congregation, "You will hear something like you have never heard at another funeral. I have discussed this with his parents and they want me to say what I am going to say. You all know, just as I know, that their son never repented... Refused every kindness of this church. Unless, at the last moment of life, god in his mercy chose to save him, he is in hell. Eternally in Hell."

The pastor continued, "I am saying this because, for all you young people who are here, who knew him, knew the life which he had thrown away, knew the sorrow he had brought to his parents, you are heading in the same direction, unless you make a change in your life."

He said he could tell the words had an effect on those young people there. Many having never been inside a church house before. Most did not know how to even dress in respect for a funeral. This writer does not know much about death-bed repentance- salvation. The thief on the cross who repented has always been a mystery to me. Here is a man who was crucified next to our blessed lord. We know nothing about him other than he was a thief. If he had not been a thief, IF he had not been crucified next to Jesus, would he have been saved?

Climbing the rungs of ladder of life, the serious- intelligent person looks around. There are so many things that simply do not make sense. The person-hood of parents raising children who are snatched right from their grasp by Satan. Many church going parents have not realized that children see around the corner... That Sunday school and church are not important unless they see their parents taking the bible seriously. How often do your children see you reading the bible in the home? You fuss about the ten commandments being displayed at the court house, what about the school house? Church house, your house?  You fuss about health costs- Obama Care, do you realize that all corn, the most edible food in America, is GMO produced (Genetically Modified)? The most dangerous biological in nutrition. We fuss about so many people dying of cancer. Do you realize that one third of the population of America have cancer? Heading toward one half of the population of Europe having cancer? Like the poverty level of LBJ's time, 15%, poverty, is now more than 15%. With the Billions given For Haiti earthquake relief, Haiti is now in worse shape than before the earthquake or the earthquake funds. But, many big wheels like Bill Clinton got rich from it. What happens to all the money given to study nutrition, to study cancer. To bring relief to a sick world. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Charity, giving churches as well as "do-gooder" groups, need discipline- oversight in a god soaked way.

Everything about life is a matter of grace, the grace of god... Gift to the undeserving. "I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me" (Psalm 23).

We can depend on the chastening- correcting, rod and staff of god to guide us in truth.

Plight of the Disabled

“In time of war, when truth is so precious, it must be attended by a bodyguard of lies”

-Winston Churchill

Truth is truth whether anyone believes it or not. Perhaps in war, truth must be protected by a body-guard of lies. And, Since, in my lifetime, America has been constantly at war, we are "jaded" by war, "tainted" by oppression. Most Americans, under the oath of servitude taxation, have little time to philosophize about freedom or truth. Only a blind person can understand the life of another blind person. Only a person who spends his or her life in a wheel-chair, can understand the crippled. My good friend, Dr. John East, who served in the US senate from North Carolina, said to me from his wheel-chair, "The disabled life is hardly worth living." He was called a cripple on the floor of the US senate by another senator, his reply, "You're right I am a cripple." DR. East later killed himself. America does not mind sending its young men and women from its poorest homes to fight for her lifestyle. When they come back battered, they're mostly disowned. More veterans kill themselves than those killed in battle. Without a peep from the churches, America kills 3,000 babies each day. Without a peep from the school house, courthouse, church house, tax paid buildings were any type of exciting activity is going on (libraries, concert halls etc). Americans are able to totally ignore the disabled.

The disabled do not like to play the victim card. Even though, in my lifetime, I have seen politicians and pastors become profanely politically correct and interested in correcting discrimination against other minorities such as blacks, gays, women. The disabled, is the largest minority.

There was a law passed supposedly giving some attention to the disabled, "Americans With Disabilities Act" (ADA). Believe me, this is a totally useless legislation, I have brought many matters to their attention. Discrimination in stores-parks-cell phones (It is impossible for a blind person to use a cell-phone unless you have one you can speak into). I always get back the same letter from ADA, telling me to "hire a lawyer."

This totally blind, 100% disabled service connected, medical officer veteran of the Korean war era, was born in poverty, on a dirt road without power, phone, or water lines, In the dearth of Democrat debauchery of eastern North Carolina. I will never forget, as a small child (sighted then) seeing what went on at the negro insane asylum (now called Cherry Hospital, Goldsboro NC). The black men were all castrated, the women tied on the porches of the buildings, I still remember seeing those with the intelligence and energy to pick beans, picking green beans in a field, a man on horseback riding around them with a whip. This was the treatment of the disabled- mentally handicapped, in  North Carolina

Blessed to later travel the world (DR. Morris' passport has been stamped in 157 countries) I could not see but could sense what goes on all over the world. There are images which I wish I could erase from my mind... A burden to me in my prayer life...Refuges and hungry children at borders. Much of the turmoil of earth, so senseless, "we will bomb them until they want freedom." Bush 41 said, "a world in which there is the very real prospect of a new world order" (Speech before congress, Sept 11, 1991).  To president Bush 41, Bush 43 ,and anyone else who will listen, The only promise of a "New World Order" will only be when men have learned to love one another, "be kind to one another" (Ephesians 4:32).

The disabled desire to live productive lives. My friend, Catherine Vasalou, blind from birth, college at ECU and UNCCH, went to work as a typist at a local hospital everyday. An only child, she cared for and supported, both of her parents until their deaths. Catherine died in a nursing home. She told me by phone, just before her death "I have been ignored in life, I do not want anyone around me after my death. I have told the funeral home just to take me to the cemetery and bury me next to my parents." This writer feels very much the same way. The last thing that I would want, is for those who have stared at me and my disabled condition in life, to at last file by and stare at me in a box.
The worst thing for most disabled citizens, the attitude of American commerce (businesses) toward them. It is a known fact that disabled people make the best employees. They want a job, need a job, want to live from their own work, not from the slavery-taxation, of others or government.

I cannot speak for many, only for myself. I started making my living many years ago, selling collectibles online After the computer become popular. Before the computer, I sold rare books, vinyl records, ephemera, antiques. Mostly on a one-to-one basis with photographs to dealers.

With the internet, answer to prayer for home business I started selling online (Ebay, Etsy, OnlineAuction, AbeBooks, Gemm, Bananza, etc). I had 10,000 items on Amazon alone. A sabotaging employee, got my business kicked off from Amazon. I could give the police report, trial data etc. But it would do no one any good. Its suffice to say I lost my selling privileges with this huge company. Amazon has no empathy for the disabled. Any communication with this giant company, just an automatic-response. Most disabled people do not write something like this, or offer any complaint about anything. So many get a small government check, on which they must depend to survive. Many have told me that they will not jeopardize their check. As one women preacher told me, who went to a nursing home to pray for a member of my church, she told the man that she wanted to pray for his healing, he said, "You can pray, but remember I get a welfare check."

One of my cousins came to this city to visit me. I said, "I want to take you to lunch, were do you want to go?" He had just lost his beloved wife. "Lets go to the restaurant that you Marie and I went to the last time Marie and I were here with you." The two of us received no service at all (Middle of the Island, Wrightsville Beach NC). At the cash register, I asked the owner, "Why did we not get service?" I know that most of you will not believe this, why should I lie? The owner of this restaurant said, "I do not want disabled customers, It makes our normal people uncomfortable." Churches, schools, governments, businesses like Amazon, come to your senses, get generous, make everyone's life more comfortable.

Poison in the Well

In a world of deceit there is nothing as valuable as the truth.

Numbed down by a failed public school system, Dumbed down from the results of Big Pharma. (Natural News: 11 percent of all Americans are on an anti-depressants, Big Pharma's ambition to have every man, woman, and child to be taking at least two prescription pills each day.)

Discouraged, despondent, easily manipulated, American men losing testosterone from the effects of the chemicals chloride and fluoride in the water system, chemicals leaching from plastic which now totally wrap American life. (plastics covering meats with their hormones, hot drinks and food from every restaurant.)

Because of the size of the birth canal, brains are small and must develop after birth yet, very early years of life, a child's immune system compromised by vaccines, a child's early learning attributes poisoned by subliminal vision disparity on television sets. Hearing muted by excessive noise from technology.

When will it occur to us that the secular, state-controlled news media (print, electronic) is feeding you a daily diet of prescribed socialism-humanism concocted by a panel of liberals to be read from a teleprompter from someone attractive enough (male or female) to gain attention? When will it occur to us that the wold, the flesh, the devil, via, professors, politicians, pastors, and even some parents, are making palatable lying, cheating, stealing... the sorcery of deceit destroying western civilization and having its affects throughout the civilized world?

Darkness has always attempted to overcome light. Men love darkness rather than light. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:5)

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)

In this life, we transition from darkness into light, when Jesus Christ is our light. Otherwise, we walk in darkness and finally into eternal darkness.

This writer has never been able to comprehend those who do not gladly accept the gift of God's redemption. Nothing proves God more than creation, the unexplainable, incomprehensible, magnificence of the human body... the clotting of blood, DNA, even the nervous or immune systems. Those of us reared on the farm were chosen to witness the magnificence of the egg shell, stability of a seed. Just think, the Venus Flytrap... only found in eastern NC, nowhere else in the world, a carnivorous plant... from the time the insect touches a hair on this plant it is timed to enclose in exactly 20 seconds. The plant knows insects with nutritional value. Some other plants were rationed nectar or pollen.

Many human beings are so ready to give validation to fellow human beings but none to God, Creator of the universe with all it's magnificent marvels. Beyond comprehension, that a human being cannot find challenge in living the Christian life as found in Romans 12. I truly believe that 92 percent of our christian faith is just raw courage. The one verse of scripture that changed my life, a small mission, clapboard church on the island of Samoa. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee (Psalm 84:5)

Eight around the world trips, every continent, I believe I have witnessed the best and the worst of humanity. Even then with just a shadow of vision, God wanted me to experience the world and yet, in our own backyard we can find the best and worst of humanity.

My maternal grandmother, eight sisters, only one brother and this brother, as a young boy, was dragged by a frightened horse in equipment to which he was entangled. He lived, but a mental cripple until his death, living his entire life in a mental hospital. He never had contact with his family after this terrible accident, a time when brain surgery was unknown, but his mother found that he had been immediately castrated by government officials.

The science of eugenics, in most of the world, pertains to selective breeding. Shortly after WWII, secretary of state John Foster Dulles accompanied John D. Rockefeller around the world, pointing out to him the need to limit populations. Following the work of Margaret Sanger, Adolph Hitler, and other eugenicists, planned parenthood was financed by the Rockefeller foundation but, in NC, it was not a matter of abortion. In NC and America, 65,000 human beings were sterilized. At Dix and Cherry hospitals, sterilization was and is almost routine. Is it possible to conceive man's inhumanity to man? Not just the sterilization of others, but the holocaust of abortion.

Atheists such as Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens feel that God is an illusion, that genocide and infanticide are a part of the world experience. The world is a morally confused, religious-regimented, Christian-stagnated,technology-hypnotized, reflux of ideas. But from the beauty of the sunrise to the glory of the sunset of every new day. “The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” (Psalm 126:3)

Battlefield Commissions

In the mindless fluff promoted by today's state-controlled news sources, the importance of the basics of decorum, discipline and good behavior is often overlooked. We see a tennis star using foul language and throwing a fit in the worst example of poor sportsmanship (Williams), or an entertainer (West) jerking the microphone out of the hand of another entertainer, or a congressman (Wilson) before the television audience of the entire world, in perhaps the seat of power of the entire world, (even though he was lying and even though most of the population detest him), calling this world leader a liar, or seeing a pastor with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, or the daily diet of erroneous news broadcasts, such as the recent demonstrations in Washington D.C. where millions were interpreted by liberal, state-controlled news media, as several thousand, we are constantly exposed of the ignominious indignities of the human mind.

On the battlefield, in WWII, in the heat of battle, when most of the officers in a particular activity were killed, it was the commander's responsibility to give battlefield commissions to top-notch NCOs worthy of becoming officers. I personally knew many of these officers who had received battlefield commissions in WWII, and during the Korean and Vietnam Conflict. The commanding officers did not select just any top Sargent for this command responsibility, but one with integrity and the patriotism and honor of God and country. The most important word in the vocabulary of a patriot or God-fearing warrior is courage. I believe that ninety-five percent of our faith is just raw courage and it takes ninety-five percent of our patriotic courage in time of war. The commanding general does not pick someone undisciplined, not dependable, unreliable, but a real soldier – tried and true to his mission and the cause for which he goes to battle. Anne Frank, in her book said, “He who has courage and faith will never perish in misery!”

The time has come in this great Democratic Republic for some battlefield commissions. Not since the Revolution, has so much depended on so few. From the ranks of patriotic citizens we must promote leaders who will replace those on the local, state and federal level who have proven to be so miserably inadequate.

In history, in Old Testament sovereignty, there were evil kings and good kings. In the sovereignty of God, just as He is in control of everything on the Earth which He created, He will allow disruptive and degrading events in order to bring people to the realization of what happens when evil persists and good men do nothing. When we refuse to learn, He has a way of teaching us.

From the time of the Tower of Babel, men have refused to communicate. Hard-working, tax-paying, God-fearing Americans have refused to put an end to the “fill-in-the-blank” largess of their money going to despicable programs such as artwork of our blessed Lord's cross in a container of urine. In the culture of death, (and how could anyone get anymore heathen than abortion and euthanasia, the killing of the most innocent of life) the present president now states that there is no “reproductive services” in his health care legislation, but before Planned Parenthood, in 2007, (eugenics and promotion of the depopulation of the Earth) he stated that abortion would be included in his health care plans.

Try sifting out the truth from your news broadcast. Most people still have a love for the truth, even though the truth often hurts. People recognize the truth when they hear it, unless they absolutely do not have a conscience (and I'm convinced many politicians do not). People want the truth whether at the church house, the court house or the White House. The truth is the truth whether anyone believes it or not.

The essentials for the battlefield are ability and sovereignty. Most people do not understand sovereignty. The essence of sovereignty is the knowledge that God is on OUR side. The conservative knows that the truth will keep us free.

It is time for us to get serious about our country. In order for their children to have an education, which includes love of country and love of God, (regardless of denomination) many mothers are forced to home school their children. According to a survey released this week, only one in four Oklahoma public high school students can name the first President of the United States. Thomas Jefferson, president of the United States said, “a nation cannot expect to be ignorant and free.”

People do what they do because they believe what they believe. We believe you should know the truth and the truth will keep you free. (John 8:32)
