St. Herod The Great

One of my best friends, when I was in the Army as a field-grade medical officer; was a black medical officer who was born and reared in the delta of Mississippi. This was many lifetimes ago, we were both young, the military was newly integrated, did not have many black doctors. He had an interesting story, born on a delta cotton farm, his family, through every dime they could raise, saw him graduate from college at the black Meharry Medical School at Nashville TN.

Retired, living in Florida with his daughter, he showed up on my doorstep, having taken a flight from New York, stopping off here just to visit me. We went out to lunch, and before he had to leave on his next flight, we talked about many things. I asked, “what has happened to the black population, spiritually, politically, morally?” He said, “because of abortion and AIDS, the black population will rapidly disappear. AIDS, as you know since you have been there, is wiping out the black population of Africa. It is doing the same thing in America, and because of abortion, 52% of all black babies are killed.”

I asked him, “we know the attitude of the liberal, black communist politician...Waters, Rice, Powell, Holder, Rangel, Obama, etc, but what has happened to the black theologians, ministers, black doctors, lawyers, teachers, have they lost their senses through black nationalism, liberation theology, Rules For Radicals?” He said, “they don't care, they do not care what happens to this nation. They cannot get over physical slavery, and so they have substituted it for mental slavery.”

In my youthful questioning of my faith, and others questioning my faith, it was always difficult for me to reconcile God's gift to the world in His only Son, yet the slaughter of so many innocent male children by Herod the Great at the same time. The patron saint of New York City should be Herod the Great, because even more horrific than the murder of 52% of black babies by abortion nationally, this figure is as high as 62% in New York City. On the Avenue of the Americas, New York City, a sign was put up on February 23^rd of this year by the “Life Always” anti-abortion group, showing a beautiful, young black girl in a pink dress with the words “The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb.” Immediately, black liberals, especially black women activists and Reverend Al Sharpton led protests, demanded that the sign be removed. Black councilwoman Letitia James said, “It is misguided to use Black History Month as a tool to promote this message. Every woman has the right to make personal choices in regard to her body, and I respect many different points of view.” The anti-abortion group, removed the sign, but not to be defeated, the same group put up a sign this month in Chicago reading as follows, “Every 21 minutes, our next possible leader is aborted”, showing a picture of President Obama. Today, there is outrage about this sign.

Americans have a “Las Vegas” mentality, just pulling levers, hoping for the best. If we are invaded by a terrorist nation, could more damage be done? Bizarre moral equivalence, same-sex marriage, division of the denominations because of gay bishops, lesbian pastors (Lutherans, Anglicans). The great television preacher, Dr. Robert Schuller, at odds with his family and choir concerning morality in the church, he wanting to tolerate everything. Dr. Schuller, the church has been too silent, too long, about sin everywhere, in the church and outside of the church. Think of a judiciary unconcerned about the murder of 53 million babies, an effort to force the gay agenda on everyone (don't ask don't tell, same-sex marriage). The family defensive marriage act passed the congress 457 to 81. Already, the defensive marriage act has been thrown out by the corrupt, communist Obama administration.

The exceptionalism of America is built on the foundation of faith and family. We have never understood the deception of family life in Islam...slavery of women, honor killing of children, frightful controls of dress and behavior. The very fact that a Muslim woman cannot drive a car, is so restricted in every activity of womanhood, should bring out brigades of American liberated women to fight for Muslim human rights. But, liberal Democrat women have blind spots about the murder of babies, the enslavement of personhood in other countries.

Ever since the Muslim split in 600 AD, Sunni, Shia. There has been a rafting by responsible societies to escape the misery inflicted on the women and children of this religion (out of sight, out of mind). Only the tourists who have visited these 44 Muslim countries, only academics who have studied this religion, could talk about the insanity involved in Islam. But, the Muslims do not abort their babies, are careful of diet, careful of debilitating habits (drinking, smoking), they honestly feel they are a superior race. According to Chapter 9 of the Koran, they must either convert or kill all infidels, all non-believers in Islam, the last religion. They do not honor any other religion. They actually believe that the rocks and trees will talk to them at the end of the world, telling them where all the unbelievers are, so that at the end of the world there will be nothing left alive except for Muslims.

Is anyone concerned with the ridiculous idea that we can establish a democratic society in such chaos? Has anyone considered that Christians and even members of other faiths, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, should build their belief system on a solid foundation of truth and justice. Christians know that through prayer, all things are possible. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7)

Fables

Just one of God's great gifts to the world, the inquiring minds of children. All children like stories, pity the child who does not have an adult in his life who takes the time to sharpen that child's ability to learn, to soak up knowledge, by telling the child stories. Some of the first stories most children learn, dating back to Greece (~600 B.C.) are Aesop's Fables, stories about characters and things, such as The Tortoise and the Hare.

I well remember my first grade schoolteacher's ability to make these fables come alive, I well remember my first Sunday school teacher, those small Sunday school cards with Bible story pictures. This is the way the education of children should begin, they will have plenty of time later on to establish their Christian ideals, their ideals gleaned from stories or fables. The great newspaper writer/editor Horace Greeley said, “you cannot enslave a Bible reading people.” The enslavement of people, entire nations, has come about where the Bible is not read...communist countries such as Russia, China, North Korea.

When you visit the 48 Islamic countries of the world, countries where the predominant religion is Islam, you soon find out what a philosophy of hatred and terrorism can do to a people. It's like going back several centuries: living standards from tribal traditions, satanic rules in the culture, women and children little more than slaves. Often, when I talk about the conditions in these countries, people who are uninformed think I am telling fables. It is no fable that these Islamic religionists, victims of the Koran, even when on a form of public conveyance (bus, taxi, etc), the driver will take his prayer rug out, put it on the ground outside the vehicle and pray. It is no fable for me to tell you that women on the street, are totally covered, peeking through veils, much like lace curtains, as they try to walk on the streets. It is no fable that there are never women working in stores, restaurants, that children, regardless of weather, are usually barefoot.

Now, Minister. Farrakhan's followers adapt to their surroundings. Because of the conflict in India between Hindus and Muslims, the Muslims fled to Pakistan...an inability of these two religions, as well as the Buddhist, to survive together when there are such a tremendous differences in worship, dress, diet and other lifestyles. There cannot be a reconciliation between many things, constant conflicts involving children, and particularly young people. America will learn, it is no fable that there are some things that cannot be compromised, reconciled, such as the amalgamation of races, racial traditions. The sexual perversion involved in the homosexual agenda cannot be reconciled with that of the Christian church, one will change. The homosexuals will become Christians or the church will become indolent, anti-Christ. No more than you can reconcile and compromise disease and health, you must be able to distinguish evil from good.

When the church, in the name of political correctness, in the absurd testimony of blending, loving evil, trying to get to the evil-doer, the church became powerless. Most churches today are a poor replica of a civic club. The lost modernist infiltrated minister/theologian, has assumed the role of potentate instead of pastor. To itching ears, it is easier and more popular to talk about actual and assumed fables, than the agony, an august word of God, sin's ruin and Christ's redemption.

From the very pits of hell itself, Satan has convinced the world to believe in certain fables, the fable of evolution, the fable of population control, the fable of climate control, the fable of acceptable human behavior. Satan would have all females tattooed, pierced, acting talking, smelling more like common prostitutes than feminine emblems of God's glory. When I was young, women wore gloves, women had delicate voices, not the rasping, narcotic type you hear today. When I was young, women were delicately modest...not loud, not addicted to smoking materials, unhealthy foods. You never heard of a woman who would take a drink; today, there are more women alcoholics than alcoholic men, more suicides among young females. When a man looks for a wife, if he is smart, and most men are at least that smart, he is not looking for a woman who looks, acts, and smells like trash from the street.

Much can be said for arranged marriages, as practiced in many parts of the world, as still practiced by many members of the Jewish race. One hundred years ago, a boy asked a father for the hand of his daughter in marriage. He was a man, he was asking for a father's most precious possession. A father, if he has any sense at all, should be concerned with whom his daughter leaves home, with whom his daughter leaves a college dormitory. I do not know of a father, one on either side of the tracks, a father in a rental house, or a father in a mansion overlooking the city, who should not be concerned about his daughter's welfare. Do not feel strange if you do not fit in the category of the basic male, don't feel strange if you do not have exceptional athletic ability, if you practice good hygiene, like good music, appreciate good books, have ambition to “set the world on fire”, because, you are an exceptional male.

Even if Africa's dark Congo, at a university where I was speaking, I met some young men who do not fit into the pattern of the “subhuman” African male. The male who does not care about how he looks, what he says, how he asks. Years ago, in the Congo, a new society was started of exceptional males, called Dandies, males who although poor, like to dress in an elegant way. They had to work hard, deny themselves many things in order to buy elegant clothes, but you could always spot them: elegantly dressed, elegantly dressed for success. Recently, a young man was on the porch of my beach house, having arrived to talk business with me, he said, “you are always dressed so well, always a jacket and tie.” I said, “this is me, you always see the real me. From the time I was a young person, I dressed for success.” It is no fable that you will get no higher than your aspirations. It is true that you can put lipstick on a hog, and it will still be a hog. But, God's chief creation, the men and women of this world are not hogs, the male and female gender of this world have the duty, the responsibility to dress elegantly and to act decently, honoring those around them in respect to their parents and ancestors, and in obedience to a sovereign God who wants them as a favorite not a fable. You are what you think you are, you are not a fable.

German View of Islam

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts-- the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

The above is true beyond words to express. I have been in each of the countries mentioned and I can tell you without fear of contradiction that there is hatred there beyond compare. Leaving Kigali in Rwanda, my car was accosted by wild fanatics. At the time I had a shadow of vision in one eye, and I have never seen such anger in the eyes of another individual. We were just outside the airport and we literally fought our way into the airport. I was swinging my white cane and suitcases. Everything in the airport was behind bars. The police were afraid to come out and help. For our safety, (there were two others including my guide) we were locked inside the managers office until we could get on a plane. From Mexico, with boxes marked "Garden Implements" machetes had been used by these people to slaughter thousands. I asked the same question in each country where terrorism had taken over, China, Russia, Algeria, etc. Each time I was given the same answer. "We either submitted or died". In all these places, as well as in America, big brother is no longer outside your door but knows everything that goes on in your house.

"Students in a Philadelphia-area school district have launched a lawsuit accusing their schools of spying on them at home through webcams installed in laptop computers the district gave them.

The parents of Blake Robbins, a student at Harriton High School in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, have launched a class-action lawsuit on behalf of 1,800 high school students who were issued laptops by the Lower Merion School District.

Robbins' lawsuit alleges that students and parents weren't told that school administrators had the ability to activate the laptop webcams remotely, even when the student is at home or away from the computer.

The lawsuit seeks "damages for invasion of privacy, theft of private information, and unlawful interception and access to electronic information," reports Courthouse News.

Robbins' family only found out that school officials were allegedly spying on students when an assistant principal confronted Robbins about "improper behaviour in his home,” and showed him a picture taken from Robbins' school-issued laptop, reports the Toronto Star.

"The school district has the ability to and has captured images of [students] without their permission or authorization, all of which is embarrassing and humiliating," the lawsuit states.

“As the laptops were routinely used at home, it is believed ... that many of the images captured may consist of minors and their parents or friends in compromising or embarrassing positions, including various stages of undress."

"If true, these allegations are about as creepy as they come," writes technology blogger Cory Doctorow. "I often have the laptop in the room while I'm getting dressed, having private discussions with my family, and so on. The idea that a school district would not only spy on its students' clickstreams and emails (bad enough), but also use these machines as AV bugs is purely horrifying."

Doctorow adds: "Schools are in an absolute panic about kids divulging too much online, worried about pedos and marketers and embarrassing photos that will haunt you when you run for office or apply for a job in 10 years. They tell kids to treat their personal details as though they were precious.

"But when schools take that personal information ... they send a much more powerful message: your privacy is worthless and you shouldn't try to protect it."

According to the Toronto Star, the Lower Merion School District is among the wealthiest in Pennsylvania, and one of only two districts in the state to earn "Moody’s highest bond rating," perhaps explaining how it can afford a laptop for every student.

The district's teachers "are among the highest paid in Pennsylvania and its students’ college-entrance scores are among the highest in the country," the Star reports."

Thou art the Man

David, youngest son of Jessie, was anointed as king of Israel by the Prophet Samuel, he is perhaps one of the most famous personalities in God’s word. A slayer of wild animals and even the giant Goliath, in spite of his heroism, his wives, his musical ability, (he wrote most of the Psalms) he had sex with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah, a soldier in his army who was killed because of his directions, and was later brought to account by the Prophet Nathan, who told David about a rich man with many sheep who stole the only sheep of a poor man. David in his anger to avenge this injustice was told by the prophet Nathan, “thou art the man”.

Old testament Bible characters like New Testament Bible Characters find that nothing is hidden from God, that he is boss, that he makes perfect sense out of everything. The sheep never seek the shepherd, nor the gold coin the woman who lost it. All is in perfect order in his creation. All the elements we will ever need are here for our use. The first law of physics is that matter is not created nor destroyed.

I have a beach house right by the ocean. The waves, the tides, can be timed and they have never changed from the creation of the world. People do what they do because they believe what they believe. Even if I were not a believer in Jehovah God and his only son our Savior Jesus Christ, I believe even if I were a pagan it would be good to know that some things do not change, that even though there has been developments in technology that the human nature of love, the perfection of a flower, the absolutes of music, do not change.

Those of us who were in the Vietnam war remember such South Vietnamese personalities as Madame Nu, General Ky, and President Thieu. When the North Vietnamese generals came into Saigon, after the last Americans had left from the helicopters on the roofs of the buildings, it is reported they said “get rid of this western decadence.” It was reported to me by someone who knows, that the first North Vietnamese tanks to enter Saigon were driven by young boys who had never seen a paved street.

The difference in the war between the north and south can be summed up in one word “passion”. The North Vietnamese had a passion for their country and defending it that the South Vietnamese on which we hinged our hopes for “cleaning up” this part of the world at an unforeseen and irrational expense (58,000 dead 350,000 casualties) to say nothing of the American money spent. It is reported that many of the South Vietnamese government as well as the military elite are now living well in Hawaii and other Asian affluent cities.

As we seek extricate ourselves from another “cauldron” of political and financial mess”, a country with a 2,000 mile border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and a 900 mile border between Afghanistan and Iran, Hindu Kush the worst of the Himalayas, and a country with a history of retreat by 2 of the worlds greatest powers, Britain and Russia. The first time I was in Afghanistan at the Khyber pass, I felt like Rudyard Kipling as I saw a camel train move through the pass just as in hundreds of years of history. The second time I was in Afghanistan I was there for Banyan to see the great standing Buddhist in the sides of the mountain, so large, you had to go completely across a valley for a photograph.

This land of goats and donkeys where life is cheap, religion solid, passionate love of country, and total hatred of westerners (I witnessed this in Kabul where I was almost killed). In my venture into the “so-called” no mans land between Afghanistan and Pakistan where the famous Khyber rifles are built. You easily detect the hatred in their dark eyes. Can one even imagine mans inhumanity to man when you consider how easily they behead or chop off a limb. And, we think, that we will bring some sort of stability to these people?

In the USA, we have the largest prison population in the world nearly 2 million. It is a certainty that at least one third of this prison population nearly 500.00 are converted Muslim, followers of Islam, still American citizens. One of my black employees told me that she would not be bothered by the Muslims because she was a black woman. I told her, “you should study what has happened to the black Muslim woman in the Sudan”. 900,000 Muslims killed one another in the Iraq, Iran war in the late 1980’s. When it starts over here, as those in Israel can attest, don’t expect kindness.

Sometimes, I feel like I have a life boat out by a sinking ship and I have a great desire to save as many as possible from drowning. Just as the Russians and the British Long before USA found in Afghanistan, Mujihadeen is a real concept. The followers of Islam are serious about jihad.

The most depressing matter we are facing in this country is not our bankruptcy, our economic downfall, our political corruption, the loss of one generation to illegal drugs, the invasion of our country by illegal citizens from other countries, but our failure to recognize that there are 1 billion Muslims who consider this nation their enemy just as they consider Israel their enemy and to almost the same extent. Even more critical is the fact that the Muslims do not abort their babies, they do not use illegal substances (drugs such as liquor, cocaine, etc.), they have a religious passion and zeal that are most fundamentalist religious leaders and so called Christians have forsaken. I was never in a mosque that did not require me to remove my shoes. Do people in our western civilization defend anything as “holy ground” anymore?

Texting

I was raised at a time when there was only one telephone for many miles around, located at the crossroads in my cousin's country store. I'm told now that just about everyone has a cellphone on their person, even children. My only son, my only child, and his wife headed the SBC missionary work in South Korea for many years. He, like returning soldiers from there, tells me that the entire country, now, is a matter of technology. I'm a veteran of that war era and when I was there it was one big wasteland. Statistics show that 30% of all vehicle accidents are caused by people using cellphones in their vehicles, talking, texting, generally not paying attention.

When a maniac is at the door, even dissenting brothers will unite. The sovereign God of the universe continues to text messages to us. Mark Twain, born in 1835, the year Haley's Comet appeared, predicted he would die one hundred years ago in 1910, the last time Haley's Comet appeared. Kings, the ones with which we are most familiar at Bethlehem, have always studied the stars because we know the One that flung the sun and moon into space also made the stars (Genesis 1:16). This shows God's omnipotence; stars beyond our ability to count and He summed it all up in just five words.

We have trouble with God's messages. In August 2009, out of nowhere, on a clear day in Minneapolis, MN during a national convention of the Lutheran Church, just before voting on putting gay preachers in the pulpits, a tornado came down the street, tore up the top of the convention center, took the steeple off the Lutheran Church and just as quickly disappeared, yet, the Lutherans paid no attention whatsoever. Episcopalians cannot read the message sent to Archbishop Rowan Williams and the Episcopal Church about the Episcopal flirtation with the gay agenda.

In August 2005, the worst hurricane in the history of America hit the Gulf Coast area and particularly the city of New Orleans. We absolutely learned nothing about God's trying to wet clean this sinful city...elderly left to drown in nursing homes, prisoners escaping from jails...the total debilitation of a large city. In January 1994, the so-called Northridge earthquake hit the California coast, trying to shake loose or cleanse the largest pornography capital of the world. This week, the world has been rattled by scenes of the earthquake desperation in Haiti, a country already dissolved in poverty, perversion and puppet worship. Of the supposed six million inhabitants, almost half are considered to be voodoo worshipers. Since I have been alive, America has sent one ministry after another to that deprived, destitute nation, one half of the island of Hispaniola, where "Papa Doc" Duvalier, his son and many other tyrants have made life miserable for this population. On the same island, the Dominican Republic prospers. Can Americans see what can happen in a natural disaster and even pretend to see what can happen in a man-made disaster, such as a nuclear weapon set off by terrorists? Haiti is just a small example of what terrorism can do in a country hated by Islamic radicals.

America is a country so blessed by God, blessings shared with the world. 90% of all Christian missionaries go to the rest of the world from the United States. America's largess, not only in sharing our wealth, but also our knowledge gained through expensive research, is well known. How many recent great discoveries have come from anywhere except America? Discoveries which have made life better everywhere. We have spit in the face of God who made it all possible, even using His word and His message to milk funds out of His followers who have given, worshipfully and lovingly, to those who live lavishly (Hinn, Graham, Copeland, Baker, etc.).

True prophets, truth pastors.

True pilgrims, truth patriots.

God wants us to be in the fight, win or lose, the battle is his...”for the battle [is] not yours, but God's“ (2 Chronicles 20:15) .

We are in a minority, the world's largest minority, Christians who know the message.

Politicians drive their $100,000 car to their $10 million home, unconcerned. I have never been in a Starbucks but many churchgoers, academics, professionals, sit there, drinking their $5 cups of coffee, unconcerned. Golf-playing friends tell me they cannot get on the golf course because there are so many preachers, in their designer togs, unconcerned. The finest homes in town, gated communities, are called “Pill Hill”, where the health care professionals live, unconcerned.

We almost survived decades of string-pulling puppeteers, perversions and other peers whom we call politicians, unconcerned. Just get elected, you are assured of lifetime security with the elitist clubs of prestigious trustee and board appointments, lobbyist's hallucinations, country club prominence, unconcerned.

Bankers, who control everything, like JP Morgan Bank who increased their profits $12 billion last year, know who and what to control (Greenspan, Paulson, Bernanke, Geithner, Madoff), all unconcerned about the small citizen or the small businessman just trying to survive and provide jobs.

A good example is one banker I know. When he was younger, he would take a young date to a very fancy restaurant out of town. As soon as they had finished their meal, he would excuse himself to the bathroom, so he said, go out and get in his car and leave her with the bill. She would have to call someone for rescue and then, too embarrassed to have been so deceived, like most deceivers (politicians, perverts) he would continue to get by with this thing. Is it any different today? Those who Madoff and Paulson deceived were too embarrassed to admit such. Such bankers are called “movers and shakers”, power brokers.

The secular-humanist society has been so dumbed down that they cannot read obvious messages. The saved-humble Christian society has been so dumbed down that they cannot read obvious messages.

We are aware of the veneer of compassion and the veneer of pretension.

The Judas goats of enslavement have led dumb, unsuspecting sheep into the slaughter pit of expediency and ambiguity. As important as it is for a youngster to learn to read in the first grade, it is just as important for Americans to learn to read the handwriting on the wall, messages of every type texted directly to us.
