Tipping Point

The main interest in the life of some men is athletics, ball scores, batting averages, Tiger Woods or some other overpaid millionaire. Some men have a fascination with making money, others family, others politics. I know one man who would make a remark about every women he met, his tipping point was sexual attraction. With others, their tipping point is a drug of some sort, a Jack Daniels or marijuana.

From my youth I have been fascinated with cars. I have owned some beautiful automobiles for someone who owns nothing but thrift shop clothing, second-hand store furniture, never buys food unless it is on a special sale. I have owned beautiful automobiles even though I have seen or driven one in many, many years. I still dream about driving, God never makes a mistake, he knew my tipping point: fast driving. Of course, blindness ends driving, now he has me where he wants me, in the passenger seat. Usually, I buy a new car every three years and I sell the used car myself. There is not a baby in town that has better care: low mileage, like new. I have no trouble selling my used car, then I just buy a new one.

One lady came to look at my car, she said was the secretary at Northside Baptist Church, her son a student at Wake Forest. We had a nice conversation, but she was angered because I would not lower the price on the car. She told me there was a rust spot on the car, something that no one else had seen. As she was leaving, she told me, “I hope you will find God.” I could not help but retort, “I did not know God was lost.” I do not have to tell you her tipping point.

God is not lost, still on the job, still BOSS. From our ancestors Adam and Eve, they thought they could hide from him. He said, “where art thou?” (Genesis 3:9) One of the first tipping points for your fellow Christians in the church, punctuality. Have you noticed that the same people come dragging-in late, service after service? I tell every employee who cannot get to work on time, “leave home earlier.” I am going to be sitting here waiting for you, because punctuality is the most revealing sign of character. One of my aunts was always late to everything, I told her, “at your funeral I am going to tell the undertaker to push in your casket after the service is well underway.”

We should all learn early to be magnanimous, benevolent, to have humility. Many have learning issues: autism, dyslexia, etc. When I was young, 1 out of 10,000 children was autistic, now 1 out of every 69, is this what the progress of multiple vaccinations to babies have done to your country? God alone knows the penalty of progress...the more money raised for cancer research, that much more cancer; such a financial catastrophe from the healthy ones involved in cancer: treatment, research, etc. Learning early in life to be content, and you will never be lonely, learn to read for pleasure, we have destroyed the imagination skills of young people with television trash.

I am astounded by those who call themselves Christian, who know nothing about God's Word. The most important book ever written, written by God, the Author connecting you with the greatest power in the world. I have listened to international radio programs, people calling in for answers concerning the Bible, the Christian life, three questions they ask over and over: Women preachers? Divorce and remarriage? Cremation? The same answers given every time by different people: those who were supposed to have an intimate knowledge of God's Word simply do not study. The tipping point when I talk with a preacher, a Bible student, the difference in the southern kingdom of Juda, the northern kingdom of Israel. What happened to ten tribes? The effect of Greece, Rome, Egypt, Syria on Christian history?

The most interesting study in all the world: Abraham, his descendants, not only in the middle east, but throughout the world, much like those saints who came out of the grave at the crucifixion of Christ when the temple was torn, top to bottom, these saints who walked the streets, what happened to them?

Christians, patriots, wars, we simply cannot figure it out. We have war on poverty and we have more poor people than ever. We have war on drugs and we have more addicts than ever. We have war on terror and we have more terrorism than ever...mostly our own country terrorizing us.

Around 1957, I represented North Carolina in Dr. Frederick Schwarz's great organization, The Christian Anti-Communism Crusade (CACC). I actually thought that America was against communism, but in my lifetime, I have seen America accept all twelve planks of the Communist Manifesto. All of communism can be summed up in four words: abolition of private property. The manifesto is now in effect in America. Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness (Psalm 52:3)

The state-controlled media, liberals, academics have convinced the American people that evil is good, that we won the wars in Korea, Vietnam and are winning in the middle east. The truth is wars, police actions, welfare programs have bankrupted America. When entitlement programs for veterans, social security recipients, ludicrous retirement programs for government employees and union members cease to be, we will be tipped off about our true condition. Christ was not joking when he described world conditions, spiritual and political, whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. (Matthew 23:27)

Religious leaders referred to as Reverend, your eminence, etc. Political leaders referred to as honorable, Mr. Chairman, patriot. Take note, the tipping time has come.

Unshackled

When you reach my age, you realize the importance of time. I stopped all the chiming clocks in my house because I hate to be reminded of just how fast time passes, how little life I have left to do the many things I want to accomplish, such as writing this commentary. The great writer CS Lewis said, e all age at the same rate of 60 minutes an hour“w.” When I was a child, this time of the year, time went so slow it seemed that Christmas would never come, now it seems like you have just finished with one Christmas when another is just around the corner. I constantly remind young people that time is so important; so much to learn, so much to do, unless, like so many of our fellow citizens, you just “throw your life away.” We do what we do because we believe what we believe, some believe in doing nothing.

Have you ever thought how much time you spend just waiting in traffic, sleeping, waiting patiently in a doctor's office. The average adult spends 5.4 hours a day watching television.

The world would be changed over night if those who call themselves “Christian”, who are deceived into thinking that God lives in their heart, would spend one hour a day studying God's Word. Someone asked me one time, “how you can recognize a Christian?” I said, “only one unfailing way: love for God's Word.” Don't tell me you are Christian unless you have studied God's Word, have committed most of it to memory. Don't tell me you are Christian if you support the Democrat party which promotes the killing of babies, euthanasia of adults, same-sex marriage, putting young people into astronomical debt.

Do not become shackled by false, deceptive fraud politics. Do not become shackled by satanic forces out to enslave you by addictions, evil acts such as pride, greed, gluttony, envy, lust. This week we have been besieged by revelations involving the corruption of government through WikiLeaks. Like the Pentagon Papers, Watergate, the lying and conniving of middle East warfare. Most informed Americans already know about the decadence of their government. Don't become depressed, compromised, shackled by the knowledge of government corruption, pray for your country.

When you have politicians, you have what politicians can do. When you have bureaucrats, you have what bureaucrats can do. When you have powerbrokers, chokers, strokers, you have what these people can do. But, when you have prayer, you have what God can do. We have reached the time in this country, in this world, when only God can straighten things out. Do not be shackled by your despair with people. Think of the “people-watching” despair God has witnessed from the creation, He destroyed all of them with the exception of one family, 4090 BC. Seven groups in Canaan, He mostly destroyed, after His chosen race had crossed the Jordan. On either side of the cross, He talked through people, natural disasters, a remnant have listened.

The small amount of faith that still exists, is real faith, unshackle yourselves from the pretenders. Real faith is a verb, action based on belief, sustained by confidence. The greatest disappointment of my life has been associating with pretenders in religion, pretenders in patriotism, pretenders in family, trust; unshackle yourself from pretenders, you will be lonely, but you will not be alone. You are not stuck where you start, life is a journey not a destination, on the journey, through rebirth you learn what is important and what is a waste of time. Many life activities, particularly with the unsaved in your surrounding, in your family, even with those with whom you work or worship, you will find is just a waste of your time, your energy, your concern, they do not know who you are, unshackle yourself from them, working to get their approval.

To KNOW God you must know God. You as a born-again Christian, are shackled to Christ. You owe it to him, bearing His burden, trusting Him. The best character, like the best suit, is homemade. You understand the indifference at the school house, the courthouse, the statehouse, the church house, shackled by satanic meanderings that take up your time, energy, spirituality.

This morning, someone brought to my attention, Thomas Kinkade, the artist known for window lighting in his canvas, such as his canvas of the Biltmore House in Asheville. I met him many years ago, a man of great talent, but like so many, shackled by addictions, uncontrolled impulses.

Greed is the greatest enslaver. Here in this town where I live, just a few miles from my house, a woman left her dead mother in her mother's house for many months, spraying her occasionally with disinfectant, so she could collect her mother's social security checks. I cannot possibly tell anyone how much money has been stolen from me, a blind man, in my effort to give people a job.

A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches. (Proverbs 22:1) Nothing is worth being shackled as a thief; the pleasures of this world, the wealth of this world, are not worth the shackles of hell. Jesus Christ was either who He said He was, or the greatest hoax the world has ever known. Time has proven that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, the only hope of the world, do not be shackled by those at the school house, the university, the media-place, or anywhere else who would lead you otherwise, and shackle you, not only to an eternity of darkness, but hopelessness and haplessness while living on this earth.

The protractor over the compass is the emblem of the Freemasons, masons claim they started in the building of the Solomon's temples, they have an Egyptian influence, a cult founding. Historically, men thought the masonic emblem and membership gave them credence, generals of the army, Presidents, even some Christians (one-half of Washington's generals were masons). One does not need to be shackled by secret handshakes, membership rituals, the need for recognizing one another, special consideration at the courthouse or business place. Paul, a bondslave of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.(Roman 1:1) In this, Paul's first words to the church, we find our mission and message.

Great American Smoke-Out

This is the 34th annual “Great American Smoke-Out”, a day set aside each year, to discourage the smoking of tobacco (note the liberal press never mentions the smoking of marijuana). After a lifetime of studying tobacco, smoking, dipping, chewing, and every other way of using the tobacco plant product, I can say to you without fear of contradiction, those who use these products are well aware of their harm. It has been a long time since any male, working for me, smoked, but every female who has ever worked for me, with one exception, smoked cigarettes, they tell me they are liberated women. Just as they realize the foolishness of putting other poisons into their systems, just as they realize the foolishness of a walking in front of a speeding vehicle, just as they realize the foolishness of electrocuting or burning themselves alive...they know about the toxicity of tobacco products. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Just as it does not take a physician, pastor, poet or prophet to tell any person with a brain that they are going to die, and after that, the judgment, so anyone knows who puts poison into the body, that there are consequences for the act. Lets face it, God gave to his chief creation free will; we have free will to overeat, free will to eat non-nutritious foods, free will to drink poisonous, addictive alcohol. We have free will to put into our body by needle, throat, nose, etc. addictive substances which will destroy our brain and body.

Early in my practice, I discovered that most patients will not follow instructions, I have learned through a long life, that most human beings give little thought about their eternal security, even little thought about their present security, they just don't care. There was a time that I would jump on any white horse trying to save humanity from themselves. We can give the message: medical, ethical, business, political, it is up to God to do the rest.

So it is with the smoking of cigarettes, what human being, blessed with any intelligence at all, thinks he can burn a poison in his mouth, suck the toxins into his system through the mouth and nose, and think that it will not eventually have a devastating effect. It won't happen overnight, many will inhale/swallow/salivate tobacco over many years...particularly chewing tobacco, without it having any obvious effect. In rat poison, most is just corn meal, it is the small amount of arsenic that does the job. In our toothpaste, drinking water, it is the long-time effectiveness of chloride and fluoride that does the job. In food intake, everything enhanced by fructose and sodium, it is these addictive substance which ultimately do the job.

Like many of the other millions of eastern North Carolina natives, I was born and raised in the poverty of the tobacco-producing culture. Not quite as decadent as Erskine Caldwell's Tobacco Road, it takes one who was there to describe it. The baby-boomers and Yankees who have invaded Eastern North Carolina, buying up the former crop land for housing communities, cannot imagine what it was like just 50-100 years ago: dirt road after dirt road of small farms, patches of growing tobacco, along with the cotton, corn and other cash crops. Tobacco curing barns were everywhere, late summer, as you drove through this “world”, you could smell the curing tobacco, it smelled like money.

We owned what would have been called a large farm, we had 10 acres of tobacco. The entire tobacco process was built around poisons (I understand much has changed during the past 50 years, since I last saw or witnessed this agriculture). I remember my father put poison into the very ground of the plant beds which he seeded in order to grow the plants to be transplanted into rows in the fields. From the time the seeds made their appearance as plants, there was a system of poisoning against “blue mold” and insects. I remember that in transplanting the plants into tobacco field rows, the roots were dipped into poison to keep worms away from the root, the plants would usually grow about six feet high, continuous poisoning to keep insects and worms from eating the leaves (everything is addicted to tobacco, and when not addicted enough, the manufacturer adds more poisonous nicotine).

Then, the mature plant was harvested, put into curing barns where all this poison on the gummy stomata were thoroughly baked into the leaves, totally dry (the tobacco leaves would rot if not dried). The harvesting process was something that most people my age will never forget; the heat of tobacco field, cropping the riping leaves, hauling them by trucks (small trucks pulled by mules) to the tobacco curing barns where the leaves were “strung” onto sticks for hanging into the curing barns.

As a child, I can remember working all day long in this green tobacco to make one dollar. Children in the community tried to work everyday because this money was used for their school expenses. The mothers and adults used this money for their Christmas shopping, and from these many years of tobacco growing, field, barn, grading, auction, my own father sent his four children through college.

Those in this “tobacco land” who made the most money, were the large tobacco warehouse men where millions of pounds of the “weed“ were auctioned. Those of you who remember Bill Stern's sportscast, every night, remember the sounds of the tobacco auctioneer, cigarette companies bought these millions of pounds of tobacco to be made into tobacco products, mostly cigarettes. It was the American tobacco company, Rentals Company, Duke Company, Liggett and Myers, Philip Morris and other well-known names, putting out such famous brands as Camels, Old Gold, Moore, Chesterfields, Benson and Hedges, Kool, etc. Brands and companies, which, as my father said, “people got rich off of a fool's mistake.”

The preacher in eastern North Carolina could preach against all sin except the sin of raising tobacco and smoking, this was off-limits. There is one baptist denomination, a denomination to which I have been very generous, mostly located in eastern North Carolina who has expressed its disdain for me because I have preached against “evil tobacco”, evil alcohol, evil lottery. These folks have never seen the autopsy lungs of a smoker. At least, “God moves in mysterious ways.” The Dukes and Rentals families who made such hideous fortunes from tobacco, have given back via Duke University, Wake Forest University, Duke Hospital and Wake Forest Hospital.

So, the tobacco growing and tobacco industries were chased out of America into foreign countries. Tobacco grows well in communist China, I have seen such large growing fields there, such large cigarette manufacturing companies there. 66% of all Chinese men smoke cigarettes, and so it is around the world. Perhaps the politically-correct, state-controlled, academic prostitutes, corrupt politicians, all singing in chorus will be happy when all sin products...tobacco, alcohol, sweets, heroin and such for Big Pharma, are all grown in other places, and since 91% of Walmart's sales products come from other places, we can buy everything there.

Do you remember window shopping? Stores up and down American streets with windows showing attractively what was inside the store. In China, Russia, stores like warehouses, goods just piled on tables. We have sown to the wind, and we have reaped a whirlwind. (Hosea 8:7)

Cinderella Story

My mother and father's families lived in the same community, all went to the same school, same church. Our family church was built by my great grandparents on both sides, just at the end of the Civil War. I don't believe I realized until I went to college, the concern people in the church, people in the community showed for my mother and father, and their new family. I remember the first time I came home from Chapel Hill, everyone in the church was excited, years later, one older lady said, “your mother and father were so attractive, so talented, such wonderful personalities, we all knew they would have beautiful children.” All these people had watched us, growing up...we were expected to show all the Christian citizenship, traits of our parents, grandparents.

This is the Cinderella story, in the Cinderella story of older citizen's youth, stories always ended well, “they lived happily ever after.” Even the stories of old movies ended well, stories in children's books ended well. Life was expected to have it ups and downs, but to end well. Americans still want to believe in the Cinderella story.

During the last century, during my lifetime, the carnal mind took over in every area of life. There was probably some corruption in government, political bosses, whoredom in industry, politics, education, previously...but it was the exception, rather than the rule. Now, in spite of the fact that we wish it otherwise, it seems that the pathology of sinful activity controls the world.

With increased scientific knowledge, we are learning not only the results of sin, but the fallacy involved in not disclosing sin. For instance, we know that every government bureaucracy, board, panel, are all controlled by pro-abortion people, mostly liberal Democrats. Breast cancer is almost an epidemic, yet no one discloses the fact that women who have had abortions are more likely to have breast cancer. The scientific evidence is in, and this is not fairy tale science, the normal becomes abnormal when sinful activity takes place, from the time of conception the breasts begins to prepare for the delivery of the baby, with a surge of hormone and other activity preparing the mother for milk production. The unfortunate act of miscarriage does not affect the system, but forced abortion does. A woman who has never given birth, an abortion at her first pregnancy, increases her chances of breast cancer an estimated 50%. Abortion is not natural.

Lawyers and courts can put your legal hand of permission on the despicable act of same-sex marriage, but the science is in, sexual perversion leads to an early death, it is not natural. Courting, dating is old-fashioned, now I understand it is a matter of “hooking up”, the hooking up leads to early cohabitation. So many straight young people are living together without the benefit of marriage. The debutantes, parents presenting their daughters to society, the white wedding dress, all old-fashioned. We have all heard, “we lived together first to see if it would work out”. We have found that “shacking up” does not decrease the divorce rate, it is not natural.

With every revolution, French, communist, in every totalitarian country, Russia, China, Cuba, the first thing to be destroyed is the family. The family is the oldest institution on earth, established by God, found in every civilization, God-fearing or not, the family older than the church. Essential for the preservation of the species, far better than anything else in training children. Shortcuts, destruction of the family, is not natural. It started in Europe, 1968, no-fault divorce, acceptance of fornication and adultery, children becoming wards of the state, socialized healthcare, along with total control of education and work. The removal of human personality and responsibility is not natural.

The owning of a home, personal satisfaction in the care and decoration of a home, both outside and inside, pride in ownership, sane marketing practices, victim of obamanation with banking terror. More foreclosures last month than anytime in history. Mortgage records a disaster, some homes being sold several times, if no reliable records of ownership, payment, why not just go to just any parking lot and drive off just any car. Business practices among Americans in a time of computer expertise, has become unnatural.

What has happened to our country, babies usually start walking before they start talking. I am convinced that political and spiritual leaders started talking before they had done the walking, 92% of the Obama appointees, have never had any practical work experience, like so many Christians, they know the talk but not the walk. There is a big difference in doing something and telling others how to do it, church people are usually the first to blame God for problems. God will allows us to make horrendous mistakes, but he looks over us while we stand over spilled milk.

It never bothered me to tell a pregnant woman that she was harming her new baby by smoking cigarettes. It does not bother me to tell a young woman that drinking alcohol leads to breast cancer. In the post-Christian pagan culture to which the world is now exposed, third world countries are in the worst economic situation ever, even in America, a small group of incomprehensible rich, so rich they are paying most of the taxes, the rest of us, most of the 300 million population, just surviving, the middle class has been erased. The greatest tragedy of this resulting population, addictions.

Government agencies such as the FDA, are controlling everything you put in your mouth, by laws, rules and regulations. It is mostly what you put in your mouth that determines your destiny. So many do not know the importance of enzymes, nourishment you can only get from meat, there is not a history of any society which was strictly vegetarian. Until 1900, the entire world was a meat-eating culture, since then addictions to sugar (the most addictive substance in the world), gambling, smoking of tobacco, alcohol. Addiction always has a negative consequence. On a scale of 1-10, which is your addiction, caffeine or cocaine? The epidemic of obesity, most addictions come from the toxicity of chemicals in your body, mostly from prescription drugs, and your inability, because of the depleted nutrition of food, to rid your body of poisons, and to have sufficient energy from sufficient nutrition. The body is starving to death while you put on fat from junk.

Nutrition deficiency is the number one cause of disability, your government with its hundreds of agencies, a nation of universities, and still, no one has told you yet, that you cannot live off Twinkies. Whether Cinderella or Superman, the human body must have real nourishment.

Creed (2008)

In 1968, I was selected as North Carolina’s Young Man of the Year, receiving the distinguished service award.  This is an award sponsored by the Jaycees or Junior Chamber of Commerce.  The Jaycee Creed reads as follows:

That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
That government should be of laws rather than of men;
That earth's great treasure lies in human personality;
And that service to humanity is the best work of life.

This creed was written by C. William Brownfield in 1946, and is used in every Jaycee meeting anywhere in the world.  Jaycees are a young men’s organization.  You must get out at age 35 and become an “Exhausted Rooster.”  Like other civic club endeavors, Rotarians (Service Above Self) or Lions (Emphasis on Eyesight) young men learn early in life that, as in the Jaycee Creed, service to humanity is the best work of life.

The Apostle’s Creed is a statement of Christian belief widely used by a number of Christian churches.  It reads as follows:

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Nicene Creed is a different stating of the Apostle’s Creed which is used by Catholics, Greek Orthodox and Anglicans.  The Muslims declare a creed called the Shahada.

The problem with creeds, as is the case with our Lord’s Prayer, which is recited at most Christian churches every Sunday, is that it is just an empty recitation and most people who recite the Lord’s Prayer are not praying and pay very little attention to the words. 

For instance, in our Lord’s Prayer, it specifically says “lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”  It has always bothered me that we ask the Lord to deliver us from temptation but most so-called “Christians” do not mind putting temptation in their fellow man’s pathway.  Even the anti-drinking Baptists and Methodists will break their neck to get to the voting booth to vote for liquor stores in order for the alcoholics to help pay their taxes. The same so-called “church people” will break their necks to get to the voting booths to vote for the lottery or legalized gambling in order that their weaker neighbors can help pay their taxes with the proceeds from gambling. Jesus gave us one commandment:  “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”  (John 13:34)

“God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” (John 4:16)

“My son, if sinners entice thee consent thou not.”  (Proverbs 1:10)

Recently, the wife of one of my best friends in school, an outstanding doctor, a most talented man, called me to let me know that he had been found dead in a Las Vegas hotel.  She said, “He has made a fortune and has thrown most of it away at the gambling tables in Las Vegas.”  This is just one example of what gambling will do to a wonderful family.  Almost 90% of the inmates in all our prison units are there because of illegal drugs, and alcohol is a legal drug.  Addiction to drugs, gambling, smoking, promiscuity, and other addictive and illicit behaviors, which have, in my lifetime, brought ruin to homes, churches, and national values,  like the pledge of allegiance to our flag, the singing of our national anthem, and even the hymns in many churches, are just habit and empty words.

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”  (Ezekiel 22:30)

Often I have asked for help, not only in church activities, but in civic activities and usually there was none. We have many professors of the love for God and country but few possessors of the love for God and country. In the future, as we become discouraged by the lackadaisical attitude, will there be some or none who will carry the Christian cross and the American flag?

Sink Holes

Jay Leno, as a part of his famous television program, presented a walking all-stars segment in which he asked people on the street questions about politics, government or life in general. It was amazing the answers he received. During the last National election, this type of programming was used to establish the fact that very few voters knew anything about candidates or issues. I never cease to be amazed at how few people know about these things. As one of the regular members of my baptist church said one time, “I don't understand why one of our fine Southern Baptist preachers has not been selected for Pope”. This is just one of the “sink holes” afflicting our democracy...a dumbing down of the public through the “brainwashing” of “idol worship”...that monster in your living room called the television set.

A few days ago on a busy street in this town my driver said, “A large sink hole just opened in the street”. Of course, almost immediately a car was partially engulfed and on the news was the almost routine announcement of another sink hole. On the main super highway artery here, that goes from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean, just finished in the past twenty years, this is a constant problem. It is strange to me that with today's technology, these sink holes cannot be determined when the highway construction is going on. Earlier roads in this country were not so affected. “Sink holes” are well known in North and South Carolina because of the thin crust underneath the topsoil. As Mary Poppins said about the pie crust, “easily made, easily broken”. The Castle Hayne aquifer and the many large sumps, particularly in the swamp areas, hardly noticed before the time of airplanes and like the Carolina Bay lakes (White Lake, Jones Lake, etc.) often are as much as 7 miles in diameter. We don't know how they were formed, speculation, meteors, but, like the sink holes they must be dealt with almost on a daily basis. However, they do make nice oval clear water lakes. Most are so caustic that fish have trouble surviving. In some parts of the world, sink holes are so large, buildings have been engulfed, automobiles lost.

Think of the “sink holes” affecting your life, the “sink hole” of national debt. Trillions of dollars, which it is impossible to repay. With retirement benefits for military and government employees, social security, we are now $50 trillion dollars in debt. If one of my ancestors, from the time he first put his foot on American soil in 1620, had been give $1 million dollars a second his entire life, each of descendents from then until now, every second for their entire life, even today, my family with all these millions given every second through many generations, would not be able to pay the national debt. Much of your taxes are just interest paid on the debt. Since Obama took over, the national debt has increased over one trillion. There has been $750 billion in bail outs, which we were assured would bring more employment but unemployment has increased by 2.7 million. Around 600,000 new jobs, all in government. Interest rates are down to zero for those of you depending on living off your savings, Lehman Brothers owes $2.4 billion, which they can never repay. CIT filed for bankruptcy this week, one of the five largest bankruptcies in history, the company owes $10 billion more than it is worth.

In the beginning of the American experiment, American bank notes were used. Now, Federal bank notes are used, made up of thin air, no backing of any kind except the ability of the treasury to tax the American people and following the ten rules of Marxism. The Federal Reserve, not Federal and no reserves, are just putting American citizens into further slavery...an inescapable “sink hole”.

Since Obama, the government has approached every conglomerate, automobile, financial services, bank, insurance company, all with wheelbarrows full of money. Of course, no one is going to turn down free money. Like the people who bought houses they could not afford with mortgages they could not pay and now the same people are offered $8,000 to buy another house. Like the people who could not afford their cars but then were offered money for their clunkers which they still cannot afford, all are in “sink holes”.

In the health care debate, which takes up 1/7^th of the entire American economy, the word “alternative” care has never been mentioned, nor has any provision for supplements, which usually are more effective for the health of the human body than toxic chemicals. Just one company in the pharmaceutical industry spends $400 million on advertising attempting to excite both doctors and patients about certain drugs. The drug business, whether legal or illegal, is a “sink hole” which closely resembles a grave.

A “sink hole” of which most people are not aware: Every time you use your search engine and google up any type of information, it is all recorded in a giant database. The perverts or sex offenders find this out at trial when information is presented about the number of times they have watched porno. The government knows more about your online activity than you do. The government knows more about your business than you do. With the enforced digital information on your television, the infrared equipment to inspect your house, every other infringement on your privacy, you have provided the matches, with your votes for representation in Washington, that has exploded a “sink hole” from which few, if any, will escape. A chip has been put in your television with that sticky label saying that if you take it off to investigate the chip, the warranty is no longer any good.

I'm often asked why a high school girl in Richmond, California is raped for 2.5 hours by 10 men while 20 other are onlookers, why one house in Cleveland, Ohio contained the bodies of 11 raped and decomposing black women, why a Muslim Army psychiatrist can shoot 13 of his fellow soldiers and wound over 30 others without anyone at a medical facility recognizing his obvious mental problem. Where were the parents of these men during their lives? A school child cannot draw a gun on a piece of paper but a field grade medical Army officer can walk into a facility dressed in Muslim burial robes and attempt to kill other soldiers. Don't tell me, that someone had not discovered his Mohammed addiction and his hatred for the government which he was paid to defend. We have been so casual in our effort to be politically correct that we have overlooked the “sink holes” of Muslim terrorist cells operating across the country.

The “sink hole” of addiction, sex, drugs, alcohol and even the love of money, is one of the most difficult to disentangle yourself and crawl out of the hole. Just saying “no” is often not enough. Until one looks up at this serpent on the rod, as Moses lifted up the serpent for healing in the desert, chances of your redemption from the slavery of addiction are very remote. The sinking sand in the “sink hole” of addiction, whether chemical or one of your senses (pornography, alcohol, tickling ears, sexual perversion) will lead you from your hell on Earth to an eternal hell.

The greatest “sink hole” in the world is being mired up with unbelievers (in church as well as outside of church) when, as a believer, you know you should free yourself, climb out and be the creation the Creator intended for your life. The world, the flesh and the devil will keep you mired in the “sink hole” of sin's ruin without the redemption of Christ. Wake up and live! You are a vertical, as well, as a horizontal creature. The train only goes around the track one time. Free yourself from the “sink holes”, get aboard, and live in the liberty God has provided for you.

You Don't Understand

There were not many movie stars as poignant and impressive as Barbara Stanwyck. Today's so-called movie stars would do well to take lessons from her. In her memorable movie of 1949, “The Lady Gambles” in which she played the role of a gambling addict, one never forgets the obsessive-compulsive behavior and one better understands the culture of drug addiction which has totally crippled our nation.

Most prisons in our country, (and we have the highest prison population of any industrial country), are there because of the culture of drugs, due to either drug use and possession or illegal sales and the thievery in order to buy drugs. Most people do not realize this; but alcohol is a drug. One person out of 10 who takes the first drink, ends up as an alcoholic, with all the resulting heartache.

Parents: Let your children grow up seeing beer in your refrigerator, seeing a liquor cabinet full of liquor in your home, seeing you and your friends, drinking “highballs” around them, seeing you spend most of your time around the world's greatest idol, a TV, seeing the mother in the family wasting her time at the bridge table or drooling over soap operas, seeing the father trot off to the golf course to senselessly hit a small ball, seeing the general waste of time, talent and treasury, with which God has blessed your home, and you will have adult children who, like mother, like daughter – like father like son, will waste their time and spend their senses in useless behaviors.

Barbara Stanwyck, playing Joan in the movie, when asked by her husband and even the pawn shop operator where she would try to pawn her possessions, would only say to them, “YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND”. Thousands of times, in my career, smokers, alcohol drinkers, gluttons, illegal drug addicts, homosexuals, gamblers and other addicts of senseless, debilitating, useless behavior have said to me, “YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.”

The great German chemical conglomerate, I. G. Farben, who won 17 Nobel Prizes for Chemistry, who provided Hitler with synthetic fuels to keep his war machine going for 5 years, who manufactured the poison gas which exterminated 6 million Jews after they had worked as slaves in the Farben factories, passed on the formula for the RU486 abortion pill, to American pharmacists, as well as their formulas to their synthetic fuels to the Rockefeller foundation. We are well aware of the Standard Oil participation on both sides in World War II. (Standard Oil was owned by the Rockefellers.) Most Americans do not realize that it is the Rockefeller Foundation that founded Planned Parenthood.

Such celebrities as Ted Turner, Jacques Cousteau and David Rockefeller have been very interested in eugenics and the depopulation of the earth. The worst addiction I can even imagine which must be a stench in the nostrils of our blessed Lord, is the culture of death surrounding the activities and money of the Rockefeller Foundation, the Ford Foundation and the Obama Administration. Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, chief medical bioethicist and brother of Rahm Emanuel, the Chief of Staff to President Obama in the “Journal of the American Medical Association”, June 18^th, 2008, said in speaking about the Hippocratic Oath, “we now do what we can,” whatever that means. The American Society of Eugenics is associated with the Rockefeller Foundation, Planned Parenthood, and the Hastings Center, a bioethics research institute, all located together in New York.

Dr. Alfred Kinsey, another product of Hitler's eugenics crowd, one of the dregs on humanity, author of the book Sexual Behavior of the Human Male (1947), got his start at the Indiana University, where the Kinsey Institute is still located. However, in 2004, after some digging by Dr. Judith Reisman, it was found that long-time Nazi party member, Dr. Fritz von Balluseck, was mailing his on-going child abuse crimes to Kinsey. Von Balluseck's diaries appear to date from 1936 to1956, revealing Balluseck's regular correspondence with Kinsey. In fact, Kinsey sent his simpatico Nazi aide books about child sexuality--books that would have supported and encouraged the serial child predator's incestuous and pedophile crimes. In the mid 1950s Interpol contacted the Kinsey team for help in locating a child sex killer the team had interviewed. The Kinsey Institute protected their WWII Gestapo agent (as they have always protected all their pedophiles and pederasts). They refused to give his name to Interpol under cover of shielding a possible child murderer from investigation based on "scientific" ethics. The truth about Kinsey has always been stranger than the fictions created to cover up reality.

We will never understand sex addiction, the heathen behavior of priests who molest children, behind the confessional booth of the church, the heathen practice of psychologists and sociologists and mental institutions behind the stethoscope, who sexually abuse their patients, or the prison guard, in uniform behind the shield of control. Even sexually abusive young people have an unhealthy addiction to sex with the mistaken impression that lust is love. One newly married man recently told me that he had a regular affair with a prostitute before his marriage, during the week of his wedding and after his wedding. Another young man told me that he had impregnated three young women in one year. Even animals fornicating in ally ways have a greater system of morality. Kinsey and other sex therapists gently pass on the mantra, “If it feels good, do it” without any regard for the psychological abuse affecting everyone involved.

On the Mount of Olive, Jesus wept for Jerusalem. Our blessed Lord would surely weep at the total decadence, which has swept our nation. When the North Vietnamese moved into Saigon after we had lost the war, the prime minister of North Vietnam said as he looked over the opulent degradation (porno shops, bars and strip joints) which had taken over the city, “Get rid of this Western decadence.”

There is no addiction like the addiction that is brought on by sin and Satan's minions. Mercilessly, the unbelievers cast aspersions on real Christians who try to affect holiness in the world around them. You never hear them attack their fellow unbelievers for the addictive Satanic practices which lower the expectations of the human spirit.

Don't ask me to understand why and how God's greatest creation, man, actually created in His image, can so defy all mental comprehension and understanding.
