Futile System Agenda

Futile System Agenda

The great jurist, lawyer, writer, Oliver Wendell Holmes, was walking down the streets of Boston with a friend. This was during the time of slavery and a male slave met them on the street, obediently removing his hat. Oliver Wendell Holmes removed his hat in return, towards the slave. His friend said, "Why did you take off your hat to that slave?" Holmes replied, "He is a man and I must show him the DIGNITY which he showed me."

It has taken hundreds of years, but man has lost his concept of DIGNITY, showing kindness to one another. (Dr. Franklin said, "Kindness costs so little.") This writer devoured The Bible when he could see. God's answer book for every question. In these last days, "end times" God's judgment on present day Babylon, economics, require a new look at the agenda of the present futile system.

My ancestors left Europe, attempting to escape the futile system of lordship, one man superior to another, arriving on the good ship Kent in 1677, founded Morristown NJ, some poor farming members of the family moved south to Wayne-Wilson county, NC. One of my grandfather's brothers John, a medical doctor, later moved back to Morristown. Anyway, a respectful, land owning family, diligent with integrity in peace and war.

This descendant, this writer, a totally blind, 100% disabled, service connected, medical officer, veteran of the Korean conflict at age 82, never having been denied service from others, commercial or healthcare at any place, anytime. I will gladly give 1000 dollars to anyone who can show that I haven't paid anything but cash for all purchases, "never delinquent one day on a credit card, only making payments in large real estate transactions and NEVER any problems with credit." I have never been embarrassed about payment at any doctor's office. I would never, never, never have embarrassed any patient in my own practice about payment to me. When I stopped practicing, I was owed thousands of dollars by patients who had honored me by trusting me with their healthcare. Most doctors as well as patients, never realize the shortness of time with which they deal with one another on this earth. It can all be over so quick, the only thing you leave this world with is the good you have done while here...a mystical, supernatural, quantity, beyond one's concept of value.

In my lifetime, I have seen the purity involved in God, family, country, slowly diminish. The reason I fought socialized healthcare, few areas of trust and comfort left between two individuals...has totally escaped the political scene, slowly seeped from Christianity, even families. The one area of trust-comfort, the patient-doctor relationship. It started with the military-unconcerned, more or less mechanical-assembly line care. Then it came to the individual, private practice and hospital, technical-SOP, (standard operating procedure) faceless, frivolous tests. If your doctor touched you, spent more than 5 minutes with you, you considered yourself special.

I balked about and talked against the Obama "enslavement system." It does have its problems but from now on, I AM PROMOTING SOCIALIZED HEALTHCARE. Big farmer, big medicine, has brought on big fees and lack of empathy for the patient unto themselves. Whether he'll burden taxes, county, state or foundation largess, large technical warehouses have been built to treat the public. DOCTORS ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO MAKE MONEY THERE. At tax supported University campuses, again, large warehouse type research hospitals, buildings with laboratories and teaching facilities, available for a select few. The military doctor does not have any control over his assignments, he follows orders. IF, those educated-trained in tax supported facilities do not want to submit to the controls of socialized healthcare, then they should not apply for the education and the subsequent largess of tax dollars. The time has come that those who, throughout their life, money taken from their paycheck whether they want it taken or not, should have the NECESSITY of healthcare and not be subjected to the callousness of those giving the care simply because they were fortunate enough to have received the education. Long ago these leaches of the sick and infirmed lost the love and respect that once accorded the "family doctor." Ask any patient of the past 50 years...you spend more time in the practitions office answering questions about payment for your care than the time spent on your care. And, it never ends, Regardless of your insurance cards, veterans benefits, even your fight for immediate attention. You could die in most hospitals while the administration is attempting to decide if you are financially able to be there...to say nothing of your chances for survival from germ infestation. (A National Vital Report says that there are 90,000 in-hospital deaths per year from a combination of hospital-acquired infection and medical error. Read more at http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_people_die_each_year_in_US_hospitals#ixzz22OsBh6oD). My sickest days were in New Hanover memorial hospital, staff infection after prostate surgery.

There is a "hedge of elitism" which surrounds a small percentage of the population-those elitists, doctors-technicians-nurses who make a very good living, simply because human beings get sick. The politicians, powerbrokers of industry, academicians, are in the forefront of thought control. (Never subjected to the rigors of the poor and disenfranchised.) In an unholy alliance of political medicine-big farmer, control of the media have attempted to indoctrinate the general public in just how lucky they are to have the inadequacies of western healthcare. They are called professionals, the rest of us are pawns-servants-slaves, supposedly content with the crumbs from the floor as the "hedged elitist" feast at the table of big brother's, healthcare excesses.

The present system no longer functions-some form of government socialization imparity. Just yesterday, having only recently written a check to cover any Medicare and VA nonpayment, Dr. Whitesides office (urologist who had removed my prostate unnecessarily, leaving me with a nest of cancer cells) called to say that my appointment would be cancelled because the government had not given permission for my care.

Get ready, get used to it. Changes must be made. In England, robots attend to patients. (The world's three largest employers: Chinese army, India's train system, England's socialized healthcare system.) BRING ON THE ROBOTS if it means eliminating callous, unconcerned, workers. If there is no empathy for a decorated, blind, 100% disabled veteran, God be merciful to the rest of you.

We have learned to dance to the tune played by utility providers, the tune of taxation, the tune of defending the country, the tune of regulating every area of human existence, EVERYTHING EXCEPT HEALTHCARE. It is time for healthcare providers to dance to the tune of government socialized control. I will use every means I can conjure up, to promote this.

Closing the Circle

One of my best friends in college, a noted teacher, international researcher/lecturer, told me he did not have much time for writing anymore because he spent most of his time in Washington, DC justifying government grants to the university medical school. I quit my membership in AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) some years ago because I have found that throughout the scientific community, science has prostituted itself for money, bowing at the knees of big government, and "big pharma" for grants and other largess, which has most certainly compromised everything about scientific research.

Research must be politically correct, must dance to the tune of the federal alphabet groups, particularly FDA, if money is furnished for research and other needs. How many Americans realize that within the database your governments: federal, state, local, know more about you than you do? Every school record, elementary, high school, college, professional school is a matter of public knowledge. In a database at the IRS, every transaction you have made in the securities market, every bank transaction, every record of giving, whether to God's work, or to civic charity. Information from many data sources, including the DMV, county tax records, which include the appraisals of all your real estate, state privilege license, even retirement funds in the variety of employment and other funds available can also be found.

Retirement funds in this nation amount to about $17 trillion, funds which have been matched by employers, given special tax advantage, the government feels that it is attached to these funds, because they were not taxable. You can bet your bottom dollar that with a $202 trillion national debt and entitlements, these funds are being eyed with greed, particularly the civil service retirement funds. Also, it has never failed, the communist controlled, collectivist, totalitarian system will put these funds in their system and all comrades will be on the same playing field, eating from the same sparse table...a social security check if you are lucky.

You voted for people who promised to care for you, they promised to take care of your needs, not your wants. The Mexican migrates into Arizona, supplier of 90% of America's produce during the winter months, and earns $450 a week, the same thing he earns in Mexico for an entire year. Research has already been done in veteran's hospitals to determine the calories needed for survival. After all, we have a fat, lazy, indolent nation of people, sitting around watching TV all day.

The electorate has proven over and over, that it really does not care, socialism is just as good as democracy: “just keep me entertained.” In the county in which I live, the 50% who do not pay taxes went to the polls and voted for a tax increase on those who do pay taxes, then the very next day, the county commissioners voted for another real estate tax increase. You see, those who appraise your real estate, your automobile, the income from your building, already know how much they can “pick your pockets”.

Now, thanks to Obama healthcare, a 2700 page monstrosity, will dictate in the database every surgical procedure, medical problem, pharmacy prescription, every detail of your health life. In addition, preparations are already made for the reporting of every purchase made for anything above $600. This includes all your appliances, investments, retirement vehicles. The circle has been closed, the last of your privacy lost in the tell-tale theory of the Marxism (“the end justifies the means”).

Yesterday, a 90-year-old women whom I have known for many years was brought home from a nursing home facility by her son, because the service was so absolutely insane. Two of my cousins brought their mother home after one night because of callous care. We hear these stories over and over, and many of us would not have any choice, we would be forced to stay and tolerate, we have no family to remove us from such conditions. The VA facilities have been madhouses of healthcare problems for many years, when complaining, even to elected representatives, nothing improved, the circle has now closed and all Americans will get a chance to study up close and personal, what Obama and his ilk “hath wrought”. My friend's son, standing by the door to his mother's room, heard the attendant say to his mother, “you can go to the bathroom after breakfast.”

Financial Stress

#534

I was born during the height of the Great Depression. I could easily have titled this commentary “Canning Jars and Potato Hills”. The thing that kept most farm families from starving to death during this horrendous drought or desert was self preservation. City people were hungry. My grandparents told of visiting one of their relatives in town. They were embarrassed...just how hungry they were...how little food they had on the table...even for company. The children of this family, my grandfathers brother, became some of the wealthiest people in Eastern North Carolina. The husband of one, chairman of the board, one of the largest state's utilities.

On the farm, when the potatoes were dug, they were put into potato hills (potatoes piled in a pyramid, pine straw and other insulation over the potatoes and then soil packed over the entire mound with an opening at the top, covered, to keep weather out). Then, anyone could retrieve potatoes from the hill. All garden excess was canned or dried and then, there were farm animals and wild animals used for cooking. Farm people, other than not having any cash, were able to survive because they had few other expenses. They heated their houses with cut wood, they knew how to raise a window in the summer. I have here in my office a kerosene table lamp which we use for light and by which I studied at night. FDR, like Obama, typical liberal democrats, (FDR actually had several of vowed communist in his cabinet, even Henry Wallace, vice president) tried to solve the nations problems by digging the hole deeper. Mr. Obama, destroyed perfectly good automobiles and then loaned money to the owners of the clunkers in order for them to buy new cars...they could not pay for the old ones. With Roosevelt, 1933, after he had chopped down growing crops of corn, tobacco, cotton, and had killed and buried 50 million pigs in his agriculture stabilization program, first started “parity” in which each family got two dollars then, 1935, he started social security which is now broke. Likewise, liberal, communist tinged democrats started, 1965, medicare and medicaid...now both broke. Carter, 1980, started the housing debacle “Fannie and Freddie” whereby people who could not pay their rent, many without any means of paying, were put into houses in which they could not afford. ALL government housing programs are broke. The postal service is broke, the veterans administration is broke. Every government program is broke. Now, your only last freedom, your last privacy, your choice of health care is under government control with all the warts of the insurance companies, now will be a disaster and soon broke. ON THIS YOU CAN DEPEND.

The question now, what you can depend for financial success?

1.Humbleness: Several generations have been spoiled, watching television constantly, seeing nothing but the good life, lives of “the rich and famous” thinking that everyone should live that way. Children are spoiled into thinking they must have “designer clothing” top notch “stardom” athletic shoes...new expensive car to drive to school, everything they want...”taste buds” for only the most expensive foods regardless of nutrition. I went through eight years of university training to become a Doctor, medical officer in the US Army where I lost all eyesight, living on one dollar a day, never wearing anything but second hand clothes. Now a multi-millionaire, I still live very much the same way. So, this depression will not bother me very much. Frugal living, a Christ inspired existence, has enabled me to give much of my income to charity...particularly disabled student scholarships who have been ignored by the government, the public, everyone else. “The largest minority in the country are the disabled...estimate thirty two percent. The black population is only thirteen percent.” THERE ARE NO CIVIL RIGHTS FOR THE DISABLED. Next to slavery, the greatest shame of this nation is its treatment of disabled veterans and handicapped citizens. “I am a totally blind, 100% disabled, service connected, decorated, medical officer veteran, of the Korean era.” I have a right to speak. The disabled veteran gets less pension than the college ROTC student for maintenance. William Manchester (biographer of General Douglas MacArthur), a 100% disabled veteran, said, “no one cares, least of all your country.”

2. Connectedness: Keep in touch with your family and friends, your church, your community. Let me warn you, of all people, your family cares least. Animals travel in packs. It is only when one wanders off from the group that he is most easily attacked by the world, the flesh, the devil. Someone may be able to help you. In the Great depression of the thirties when some of my relatives lost their farms, they moved their possessions into family barns and lived with family members. In each small town, mules with carts would line the streets. Even those who owned vehicles could not afford to drive them. I remember, at my grandfathers great and beautiful farm, the old tractor, rare in that time, sat idle...so did the old truck. My grandmother could afford to drive her car on desperate missions. The pastor rode a horse to church. Church yards were full of buggies and surreys but, the church houses were full, people at the front on their knees pleading to a merciful God for help. Twenty seven times in the book of Psalms, “the mercies of the Lord endure forever”. Your greatest help, in time of need, always available, Gods promise to never leave nor forsake those who trust in Him.

3. Mind-set: Without God, you cannot know God. When God permeates the trillions of cells in your mortal body you will have the survival skills necessary to overcome anything. God wanted me to see the poverty of the world, most of it below the 30th parallel. (I have traveled around the world 8 times, had my passport stamped in 157 countries) I have seen poverty such as this country has not experienced, YET. Mind you, God is still in control of everything...even the hairs on your head are numbered. Can you imagine what it would be like to have ten to twenty airliners crash each day in the world? This is how many babies are killed each day in this country (3000 each day, 1,452 black). God has not forgotten, nor should we his wrath, for the killing of his chief creation. The pagans in Washington, particularly the White House, may not believe or care. Conservatism is a mind set. We have heard that “only the strong will survive”. I assure you, conservation will help you survive.

4. Perseverance: At the time of the Great Depression of the 1930s, the rest of the world was not in depression. Most of the world's other nations are worse off than America. (UK, Iceland, Dubai, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal) At the time of the Great Depression, America had 90% of the worlds gold which backed up our money. Today, our money is backed up by thin air, the world considers our fiat dollars worthless. I'm told, in Hong Kong, people laugh when you try to pay for anything with dollars. Persevere in your patriotism. (what else can you do?) Persevere in your faith (what else can you do?) Persevere in your saving and conservation habits. (what else can you do?) Persevere in your decency, your Christ like witness to the world around you. (What else can you do?) God's love is unconditional. He loves us in good times and in bad times. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”. (Rom 5:1-5)

This very morning, I sent a message to my only child, my son, long time foreign missionary, now professor at a leading seminary. “Can you imagine what it was like, for Christ, during his ministry, living and working among the tyrants of the occupying Roman Empire?” Your writer lives by faith, not sight. Most of you will learn to live not knowing what the future holds. Learn, the one who holds the future. I'm told that the definition of faith is the security found in the cleft of a rock or under a mother bird's wing. Faith, is a verb. Faith, is action, based on belief, sustained by confidence. Opening the Bible is like looking into the mind of God. The verse exactly half way between the 1189 chapters of the Bible, God tells us to trust in him, and put no confidence in men. Surely, by now, you should have learned not to put any confidence in politicians. In the whims and wiles of the Satanic forces which want to cripple you in your race toward life's goal. Life in good times or bad times is more than a destination. Don't get trapped by looking at distractions along the highway.

Both Sides Of Mouth

The first time I heard of talking from both sides of mouth, Harry Truman accused Thomas E. Dewey of talking from both side of his mouth in their campaign for the presidency in 1948. Today, talking out of both sides of the mouth is almost common place, even places where honesty and integrity is uppermost.

The last time I was hospitalized, receiving surgery for prostate cancer (of course, living alone, without family), while being prepared for surgery, the nurse took my money and jewelry, and put it in an envelope for safe keeping. I never get more than $20 bills from the bank so that in case of someone taking money from me, they cannot get a bill larger than $20. I know I had five 20 dollar bills in my pocket. My talking watch speaks several languages, but since I only understand English well, it was on English. When my envelope was returned to me at New Hanover hospital, my watch was speaking Spanish and there were only three $20 bills in my envelope. If a hospital will steal money from you and play around with your watch, what do you expect in their surgery? The world has become insane, and few people care.

Think of the insanity of government welfare checks to those who will not work.

Think of the insanity of food stamps to those who are overweight (39.5 million Americans receive food stamps, 59% of all Americans depend on government entitlements). Until mid-20th century, people in America, like the people around the world, were underfed. Today, everyone is overfed. The best way for you to control your health is through food, if you do not buy food with useless nutrition (paid with food stamps), and you use 1% more of your own money to buy healthy food (green vegetables, fruits), you can improve your health 100%.

Think of the insanity of the housing bubble, brought on by government-backed mortgages, a $400,000 mortgage on a $300,000 house.

Think of the insanity of “Cash for Clunkers”, lending money to a person for a new car who could not afford their old car and then, of all stupid things, destroying the old car.

Think of the insanity of grants to college students when there are no jobs after they complete college. More students going to graduate school than ever before because there are no jobs, but the student will owe that much more in student loans, if ever a job is ever obtained...and on top of this, tuition continues to go up. There is now more money owed on student loans than owed on credit cards. The next financial disaster will be in the area of student loans, like the national debt, there is no way these loans can be repaid.

Think of the insanity of a bonus to a volunteer for military service when, if injured, there is little or no VA care. I understand of the 2 million who have gone to the 2 present wars, there is a 1 million man line waiting for VA care.

Think of the insanity of destroying the best health care system in the world for Obama communistic, mediocre care.

Think of the insanity of thinking that congresspeople who have created most of our government's problems are now running for office in order to solve them (I have never known a liberal who did not think that government was a cure-all).

Think of the insanity of government bailouts to our largest corporations (GM, AIG etc.) instead of helping small business where 99% of all jobs are found.

Think of the insanity of throwing more and more good dollars after bad dollars in the public school system when we know full well that home-schooled children do much better.

Think of the insanity of abortion, killing the very children who would grow up to pay taxes. The 56 million children killed since 1973, (Roe v. Wade) at least half would now be working paying taxes to support the social security system.

Think of the insanity of a 2 million prison population. In my county, the new jail is already full costing 80 dollars per day per inmate for inmate care. Most tax paying citizens do not have 8 dollars per day for their food and care.

Think of the insanity of Arnold Schwarzenegger, governor of California, gay, muscle pumping, pimp who has put the nations largest state into a mess of eminent bankruptcy.

Think of the insanity of Mr Tiger Woods, shirtless on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine, distressed by his mistresses admissions prompting killed advertising contracts.

Think of the insanity of presidential candidate John Edwards, with his beautiful hair caressed by lovers while his cancer-stricken wife supported him.

Think of the insanity of the Boy Scouts of America, now the target of the gay agenda.

Think of the insanity of same sex marriage, gay preachers, gay bishops in the pulpit, debauched denominations (Episcopal, Lutheran, etc.) who have probably never read the apostle Paul's letter to the Romans.

Think of the insanity of video games, to which many young people are addicted showing the worst of criminal activity.

Think of the insanity of an open sewer into your living room where the worst in trash on your television, the worst of pornography on your internet are readily available to your family.

Think of the insanity of wars on addictions when government supports such myths and fantasies as global warming, new world order, and political correctness.

Humorist Sam Levinson has said, “Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your children”. The type insanity above is not humorous, there is little laughter among the defeated.
