Futile System Agenda

The great jurist, lawyer, writer, Oliver Wendell Holmes, was walking down the streets of Boston with a friend. This was during the time of slavery and a male slave met them on the street, obediently removing his hat. Oliver Wendell Holmes removed his hat in return, towards the slave. His friend said, "Why did you take off your hat to that slave?" Holmes replied, "He is a man and I must show him the DIGNITY which he showed me."

It has taken hundreds of years, but man has lost his concept of DIGNITY, showing kindness to one another. (Dr. Franklin said, "Kindness costs so little.") This writer devoured The Bible when he could see. God's answer book for every question. In these last days, "end times" God's judgment on present day Babylon, economics, require a new look at the agenda of the present futile system.

My ancestors left Europe, attempting to escape the futile system of lordship, one man superior to another, arriving on the good ship Kent in 1677, founded Morristown NJ, some poor farming members of the family moved south to Wayne-Wilson county, NC. One of my grandfather's brothers John, a medical doctor, later moved back to Morristown. Anyway, a respectful, land owning family, diligent with integrity in peace and war.

This descendant, this writer, a totally blind, 100% disabled, service connected, medical officer, veteran of the Korean conflict at age 82, never having been denied service from others, commercial or healthcare at any place, anytime. I will gladly give 1000 dollars to anyone who can show that I haven't paid anything but cash for all purchases, "never delinquent one day on a credit card, only making payments in large real estate transactions and NEVER any problems with credit." I have never been embarrassed about payment at any doctor's office. I would never, never, never have embarrassed any patient in my own practice about payment to me. When I stopped practicing, I was owed thousands of dollars by patients who had honored me by trusting me with their healthcare. Most doctors as well as patients, never realize the shortness of time with which they deal with one another on this earth. It can all be over so quick, the only thing you leave this world with is the good you have done while here...a mystical, supernatural, quantity, beyond one's concept of value.

In my lifetime, I have seen the purity involved in God, family, country, slowly diminish. The reason I fought socialized healthcare, few areas of trust and comfort left between two individuals...has totally escaped the political scene, slowly seeped from Christianity, even families. The one area of trust-comfort, the patient-doctor relationship. It started with the military-unconcerned, more or less mechanical-assembly line care. Then it came to the individual, private practice and hospital, technical-SOP, (standard operating procedure) faceless, frivolous tests. If your doctor touched you, spent more than 5 minutes with you, you considered yourself special.

I balked about and talked against the Obama "enslavement system." It does have its problems but from now on, I AM PROMOTING SOCIALIZED HEALTHCARE. Big farmer, big medicine, has brought on big fees and lack of empathy for the patient unto themselves. Whether he'll burden taxes, county, state or foundation largess, large technical warehouses have been built to treat the public. DOCTORS ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO MAKE MONEY THERE. At tax supported University campuses, again, large warehouse type research hospitals, buildings with laboratories and teaching facilities, available for a select few. The military doctor does not have any control over his assignments, he follows orders. IF, those educated-trained in tax supported facilities do not want to submit to the controls of socialized healthcare, then they should not apply for the education and the subsequent largess of tax dollars. The time has come that those who, throughout their life, money taken from their paycheck whether they want it taken or not, should have the NECESSITY of healthcare and not be subjected to the callousness of those giving the care simply because they were fortunate enough to have received the education. Long ago these leaches of the sick and infirmed lost the love and respect that once accorded the "family doctor." Ask any patient of the past 50 years...you spend more time in the practitions office answering questions about payment for your care than the time spent on your care. And, it never ends, Regardless of your insurance cards, veterans benefits, even your fight for immediate attention. You could die in most hospitals while the administration is attempting to decide if you are financially able to be there...to say nothing of your chances for survival from germ infestation. (A National Vital Report says that there are 90,000 in-hospital deaths per year from a combination of hospital-acquired infection and medical error. There is a "hedge of elitism" which surrounds a small percentage of the population-those elitists, doctors-technicians-nurses who make a very good living, simply because human beings get sick. The politicians, powerbrokers of industry, academicians, are in the forefront of thought control. (Never subjected to the rigors of the poor and disenfranchised.) In an unholy alliance of political medicine-big farmer, control of the media have attempted to indoctrinate the general public in just how lucky they are to have the inadequacies of western healthcare. They are called professionals, the rest of us are pawns-servants-slaves, supposedly content with the crumbs from the floor as the "hedged elitist" feast at the table of big brother's, healthcare excesses.

The present system no longer functions-some form of government socialization imparity. Just yesterday, having only recently written a check to cover any Medicare and VA nonpayment, Dr. Whitesides office (urologist who had removed my prostate unnecessarily, leaving me with a nest of cancer cells) called to say that my appointment would be cancelled because the government had not given permission for my care.

Get ready, get used to it. Changes must be made. In England, robots attend to patients. (The world's three largest employers: Chinese army, India's train system, England's socialized healthcare system.) BRING ON THE ROBOTS if it means eliminating callous, unconcerned, workers. If there is no empathy for a decorated, blind, 100% disabled veteran, God be merciful to the rest of you.

We have learned to dance to the tune played by utility providers, the tune of taxation, the tune of defending the country, the tune of regulating every area of human existence, EVERYTHING EXCEPT HEALTHCARE. It is time for healthcare providers to dance to the tune of government socialized control. I will use every means I can conjure up, to promote this.

Hearing and Healing

My mother had four children. Three were up in age, I was already in college when the last was born. I remember one of my mother's friends, talking about that perfect last baby saying, “your mother's babies always smell so good”. I remember, she, in changing him, always used so much baby powder.

Traveling the world, I never saw a mother who did not show absolute love for her baby. The difference, so many of the mothers in these poor, third world countries could not afford baby powder, even food for the baby. But, I am convinced, that in most of the world, mothers do the very best they can for their baby in spite of everything. In fact, I believe that even in the Communist world, where forced abortions are a matter of daily life, mothers suffer in the loss of a child. Abortion is the most insane act known to mankind. Killing is always an act of insanity but the killing of innocent life, especially by a mother of her own child, is insanity beyond comprehension, something that the lower animals never do.

There is much insanity in sickness. It is not sane for the body to be sick. The body has a remarkable ability to heal itself. It is our own confusion, our own in-discreteness that we have contagion or illness. When will we learn to protect our immune system? Instead of eating junk, when will we learn to eat nutritious, benefiting foods that will supplement the homeostasis of the body? A depleted physiology cannot provide the energy necessary for life. Most foodstuffs, even those presented well in the grocery store, are bereft of all life giving products for cell metabolism. The circulatory system transports nutrition to the cells but the neurology of the body screams for help. We eat but stay hungry because the digestive system is sending trash for assimilation. The fat cells just keep expanding. Those specializing in weight control, and joint replacement, get rich off our inability to understand the healthy lifestyle. God help the hoax of dieting and the purveyors of these various diet styles.

America has the greatest hospitals, the greatest doctors, and health specialists of every type, the world has ever known. More American taxes are spent educating healthcare professionals than is spent on any other type education. Yet, we have more sickness than any time in history. According to the Office of Actuary Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, news from the insurance industry is very hard to get, the U.S. spent $2.26 trillion on sick care in 2007. This is more than any other country in the world (World Health Organization).

I have traveled through 157 countries of the world, every continent. Always, without exception, my guide wanted me to observe healthcare in the country visited. On Easter Island, an island isolated 800 miles off the coast of Chile in the Pacific ocean, there was a beautiful hospital, a gift from America. NOT ONE PATIENT IN THE HOSPITAL. Moving around the island, I found the people healthy and happy. They exercised, played in the sun, ate nutritious food … mostly seafood and vegetables. They told me, “when we get sick we eat food to get well”. In other commentaries, I have told of my relationship with old doctors who used food as treatment. Today, even the poorest Americans, do not think they are getting any treatment unless, some doctor starts writing a prescription for some expensive chemicals. Often, with family or friends, I would suggest some holistic remedy but they, knowing so little, would immediately spoof the idea because their pocketbook had not been sufficiently massaged by big pharmacy.

I am convinced that more Americans die from overeating than under-eating … starvation. I am offended to go to a public meeting of any sort, church, civic club, educational and see supposed informed people gorging themselves with food … Gluttons of prosperity.

When I was young, I never saw a buffet. Today, you can go to most any restaurant, most public functions, and there are just trays of decaying, useless food to which people are going to pile up plates … someone coming by to take the empty plate while you fill another. Then, at the end of this exercise in intemperance you have a large plate of sweet deserts … The very worst thing you could eat because only the body free of sugar can possibly be cancer free. Life in America, largely because of our intemperance in living, leads to slow but sure suicide.

I am offended to go to a funeral, where the family, are sitting around grieving by eating. I have relatives who make it a point to visit every deceased family just at noon so they will be included in the gluttony. I have been on ships, mostly an eating orgy where five times a day there is a dining room call, a ritual of gluttony in temperance. You see wide-bottomed men and women lined up as if they are going to miss something … “the last supper”. Don't they know the stress it puts on the 2000 miles of blood vessels in their body for this vital muscle, the heart to push blood through these vessels, the excess tissue brought on by excess weight. Most older people could live well eating their food off a saucer three times a day. Over 50% of the population, younger as well as older, now obese, 50% now diabetic.

I get sickened, in a church or civic group, to hear anyone talk about the intemperance of tobacco use. I get sickened to hear intemperate eaters talk about their friends who abuse alcohol. More Americans dig heir grave with a fork than ever smoke or drink themselves into it. Please, please, please don't let me hear about a fat preacher, a fat doctor, a fat nurse, a fat school teacher. These should set the example … health and healing.

Most people who eat, don't know why they are eating, they are not hungry. Eating has become a social thing. Most churches even have an eating orgy at prayer meeting. There are more alcoholics today than at any other time in the history of the world. It is truly an expensive disease, you spend much money to get it.

The worst insanity of them all, pedophilia or the molestation of children. Why in the world would any sane adult care to sexually malign a small child … Total insanity for a priest, preacher or teacher? What possible satisfaction could any adult get from even looking at a suggestive sexual picture of a small child? Does not a priest, preacher, teacher, parent or relative understand the sensitivity of abusing the body and feelings of a small child with sexual inappropriateness? Sexuality is confusing enough to most children, don't you remember this yourself?

Christ has told us the penalty for abusing a small child. “It is better to be dropped into the bottom of the ocean with a rock around your neck”.

In history, we study the great battles of the world. How well we remember the Bataan Death March, the Battle of Corregidor, the Battle of the Bulge. I have seen the destroyed American ships still in the bay at Guadalcanal. Today's battles revolve around lust, one of the seven greatest sins of mankind … lust for children, lust for food, lust for drugs.

Perhaps the greatest lust we are facing in America is the lust for power … That's shown by the lustful creature in the White House and the lustful creatures of congress and voters who put him there. Can you even imagine his laughing at the despicable White House correspondence dinner when he talked about predator drones and his own daughters? Does this man of low reputation and lower skills have any idea of the horror story he is perpetrating on the people of Afghanistan and Pakistan with predator drones … The horror story he is perpetrating on innocent babies as their bodies are torn apart in the abortion holocaust he is promoting around the world?

Healthcare is getting more expensive every minute of every day. With the projected Obama plan, everyone will pay ahead of time and everyone will want to get his money's worth. You are fortunate indeed if your doctor touches you now. After the vitals have been taken by an assistant, your doctor mostly depends on the computer and in the future you will seldom see him. It will all be done via microchip embedded in your body and trained assistants interpreting SOP (Standard Operating Procedures). Most large corporations (John Deere, AT&T, DuPont etc.) are canceling previous insurance and throwing all employees at the mercy of government, socialized healthcare. It is cheaper for them to pay fines than to undergo the intemperate, insane dictates of government mandates.

With today's technology, people, if smart, will learn to take care of themselves. Babe Ruth had 714 home runs but struck out 1,340 times. Thomas Edison tried 1000 experiments before perfecting the light bulb. We are glad he did. You may have to try several things for your health problem. The best way to approach any problem is the triangle. You can do it as well as an assistant in your doctors office.

With the insanity of global warming, the insanity of abortion, the insanity of child molestation, the insanity of one world government, the blessed promise of our blessed Lord taking our healing as well as our sins to the cross in his atonement seems more sane and precious than ever before.

“But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isa 53:5)

The prophecy found in Isaiah, written 700 years before the birth of Christ assures believers that our blessed Lord's healing as well as forgiveness is ours for the taking. Don't cheat yourself from this “hearing and this healing”.

Neo This, Neo That

One of my favorite radio programs was The Great Gildersleeve. In a 1947 episode, Judge Hooker was about to die and Gildersleeve said, “We must adjust to a new day, new day without the Hooper.”

It is a new day with everything in our lives. In 1948, I was a freshman at the University, home for spring holidays, when a tornado dipped down, crossed my father's woodlands for about one mile and then hit the farm itself, destroying several barns, the two car garage and many trees. It just so happens that many years before, my ancestors had planted large oak trees in the grove all around our house. These great oaks, as well as providing much shade in the summer, gave protection for the house during this tornado.

As I thought of the situation in Haiti this past week, I remembered the catastrophe just hitting one farm family very much isolated from the world. I still remember that not one government official, not one law enforcement official, not one do-gooder organization (Red Cross, Salvation Army, Social Services, etc.) showed up at the disaster. My folks were Republican, had always been Republican, and the Democrats who ruled the county, the state, and mostly the federal government, had no time for a Republican farm family. The newspaper came out and made photographs of the barn strewn across the fields, but it was the church people, and the other people of the community, who showed up to help restore the farm and my family to recover from the damage. In this NEO world of depending on government we would have been in bad shape. Thankfully, there was no damage to life or limb for the family, the tenant family whose home was partially destroyed, or any of the animals on the farm. The cow barn, the chicken and hog houses were quickly rebuilt. We did not have insurance on anything, nor did any government agency come in to assist.

We now have a time of NEO CONSERVATIVES. I am a true conservative, conservative in my mind, my actions, my religion, my politics. The conservative Republicans are just wannabe conservative Democrats of the Sam Erwin variety. These RINOs, such as we have in this county, this state, at the RNC, try to attract conservative Democrats and Independents by, like the Bushes, the Doles, the McCains, spending and spreeing, taxing and tempting, trying to out-liberal the Marxist Democrats. Like Bill Kristol, Dan Quayle, Michael Steele, the Bushes, the RINOs will never lead a conservative electorate to victory. The RINOs have forgotten our conservative values, values possessed by most Americans.

We now have a time of NEO CHURCHES. Churches trying to hold onto God with one hand, Satan with the other. It must be amusing to God that the Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, and some other denominations, will actually put the mantle of bishop on a homosexual preacher...that a homosexual, limp-wristed, blood-denying preacher will actually pastor a Christian church. It must amuse God that pretenders will actually license a woman to preach, put a woman bishop in a place of leadership in direct defiance to everything taught about the faith and practices of the Christian Church.

We now have a time of NEO MILITARY. I am an old soldier, a warrior of the time when real men proudly wore the uniform of their country. I thought the academics had lost their minds when both sexes were put in the same dormitory in college. At Galloway Hall, on the UNCW campus (I am familiar with this unisex dorm because it is here in the city where I live), life is a slumber party at this beach party university. Worse, the mixing of the sexes in the military. Worse, training young people to defend their country and defend themselves while attempting to socialize the enemy. Yes, it is a volunteer service and, yes, most are there because they cannot find a job in civilian life but the military is an aggressive organization. The officers do not take votes on whether those he commands should do this or that, should eat this or that, should wear this or that. Yet, we expect those trained in boot camp, and in officer's training, to follow orders and go into a civil distress situation, or occupied territory, and be politically correct.

We now have a time of NEO HEALTH CARE. Little privacy is left anywhere anymore. The government, through your tax forms, your online activity, your cell phone activity, and many other ways if the government so desires, knows everything about you. Every town now, every area now, has helicopters flying over constantly, some even have drones watching everything. Orwell had it right, “Big Brother is watching”. The most sacred trust, next to marriage, parenting, pastoring, is that of your health care practitioner. Until now, you have had the right to change doctors, to seek other opinions, to have a prized privacy which socialized care does not provide. Like the diagnostic numbers for any disease in the military, like the numbers you pick up for care at V.A. or welfare facility, you are truly treated like just another number.

The time of assembly-line health care started when I graduated from school. It was bad enough in military hospitals with sick people lined up for hours and the callous, combative treatment by unconcerned assistants who, most of the time, had their minds on something else. Doctors, who had just as soon you never came back, did not have to worry about building a practice, and were not concerned about paying for schooling or family need as he knew he was going to get the same government check at the end of the month, whether he did a good job or poor job. I saw experimentation in the military on real people such as I hope I will never witness again. This is where we are heading with the Pelosi-Obama health care. Surely, from the treatment of veterans at Walter Reed, the shooting of veterans by a doctor at Ft. Hood, the decadence of science as shown by the Copenhagen catastrophe, one should know that “Rules for Radicals” now presides over everything involving government control, the graft and corruption of “Big I, Little You” politics.

We now have a time of NEO MEDIA. Turn the dial on your radio or television, all news commentators get the same government talking points, parroting the government line. You can teach a parrot to talk, you can pull the right strings on a puppet, but it takes a concerned, investigating reporter, or commentator, to bring truth to your attention.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). There is nothing new in the Apostle Paul's words, in his love letter to the Church at Philippi. It is time for those who want a NEO world order, such as the Bushes, the Obamas, the Pelosies, and others of their ilk, to realize that they, too, will be held responsible for the misery they have fostered on mankind.

Just Say No

I hope “just say no” to Government enslavement will be more effective than Nancy Reagan's “Just say no” to drugs.

In 1903 two brothers from Ohio, Wilbur and Orville Wright at a place called Kill Devil Hills on the coast of NC made the first flight by man. Today, a large monument stands there in honor of these two aeronautical pioneers. Man always wanted to fly, many attempts were made before 1903 and, if I had been pushed off a high cliff, I would certainly have waived my arms trying to fly because I would have nothing to lose. There is not a boy in the world, with eyes, who has not watched a bird in flight and wondered what it is like to fly. At the North Pole, I saw cliffs covered in Arctic Terns (the migrating species which travels each year from the North to South Pole which weighs 3 to 4 ounces and has a wingspan of 26 to 30 inches). The miracle Tern like the even smaller Monarch Butterfly or other winged animals are able to travel tremendous distances using a compass in their brain.

The most progressive industry of the world has been the progress made by airlines in America. I remember well the first propeller-driven planes, the difficulty in flying across the ocean. When Roosevelt melt Churchill and Stalin at Yalta he took this flying trip in several stages, the first president to fly to Europe.

Some years ago there were problems with hijacked planes to Cuba and the intensity of scrutiny of passengers was heightened. We have always known the horrors of plane crashes, civilian as well as military. We should have known in this war on terror that air traffic would be the first casualty. People who did ride buses now are able to ride planes. Air travel is no longer a luxury. Everyone flies because it has become a cheap form of transportation. In early flights, we always dressed in suits, the meals were good, even wine was provided. You were treated with courtesy at all levels of air travel. Now, you are treated like swamp rats or worse. Think, recently, a plane on the tarmac for 6 or 7 hours, no air conditioning, clogged stinking bathrooms, no water or food. Even an insensitive, uncaring, despised congress has taken note. I stopped flying 20 years ago because I will not pay good money to be treated in such a horrendous manner. This keeps me from attending many functions such as the graduations of my grandsons or speaking engagements so unless I can take my car in an acceptable manner, I stay at home. This writer who has traveled around the world 8 times, one round the world trip had 48 flights.

In the world of political correctness, authorities were afraid to profile, so the elderly and children became suspect. Stupid attendants and agencies beyond words to describe, a terrorist almost killed a plane load of passengers this past Christmas. Now, the ultimate insult to the air traveler will be exercised. The taking away of every privacy, the humiliation of every traveler, the radiation dangers to the health of every traveler, the scanning of the body to give a completely naked photograph. The scanning manual states that the genitals must be clearly shown. It is a paradox that the stocks of the industries producing the scanning equipment gained the weeks before Christmas. Now, in addition to long lines for the scanning of air travelers there will be ever longer lines for scanning at stadiums for athletic events. Why not turn the entire country into a large nudist colony? It will solve other problems. Diabetes from obesity will go down because there is nothing any uglier than a naked fat person. Pedophiles and other sexual perverts will become so frustrated because there will be no market for nude pictures on the internet. Skin magazines will go out of business, goodbye Penthouse, Playboy, Playgirl etc.

Even though scanning gives you a 360 degree picture, why not install some palm readers or tea leaf readers at the airports? Have we not learned that when the terrorists are blocked at one place they are already present at another?

Terrorism is as much mental as physical. Westerners will pay a price for having little concern about the past mental and physical terrorism of their fellow man, the tearing apart of the most innocent body in the safest place of the world, the womb of a mother. People have cared little about the baby body parts torn from the mother to be harvested for the science of improving the health of adults, the bullying and abuse of children in government facilities. (22% of all children in government facilities and even public schools are abused) Newsweek magazine, March 2009, gives an expose of foster care. Yesterday, in this town, a catholic priest was arrested for pedophilia. Pedophilia has been a blight on the Catholic church. Of the 45,000 priests it just takes a few. In this state, many teachers have been arrested this year for sexually abusing children. Our oldest citizens are abused in nursing homes. We know that as long as there is evil in the world, there will be abuse, murder, rape, robbery etc.

How many of the individuals involved in allowing the terrorist to board flight 253 to America have been arrested? How many of the employees at Newark Airport were arrested for allowing the chaos there? How many education officials and education board members have been fired for hiring pedophile teachers? How many attendants in nursing homes have been arrested for abusing elderly patients who pay from 6-10,000 dollars a month for responsible care? How many social service workers have been arrested for placing innocent children into foster homes where they are terrorized by people paid well to protect them?

NEWS GETS AROUND. It is time for the tax paying public to get serious about the lackadaisical attitude, well-paid employees just not caring about who gets on an airplane, who cares for children, or who cares for the disabled and the elderly. It is time to just say no. Stop flying. Let the airline know you will not be humiliated by scanning photographs. Say no to government officials who are abusing children in prisons, schools, foster homes or churches. Say no to the democrat party that supports abortion, say no to hospitals, clinics and personnel who perform these baby killings. Say no to government agencies who are supposed to give oversight to nursing homes.

In darkness, with extortion and democrat party payoffs, the congress has almost enacted an end to the best health care system in the world. Say no to a lack of transparency, to silent dark non-televised congressional hearings. Say no to the biggest scam the world has ever known, Cap and Trade, global warming taxes, at a time when the earth is in a deep freeze. Say no to the brainwashing of your children in the public schools, the public universities, and the national media (print, television, radio) at the schism and scam of political correctness. Say no to immorality wherever you find it. It is your duty, your honor, your country.

Sick Care

On a trip to Yugoslavia, I was sitting in a restaurant in Dubrovnik, which I still believe is the most beautiful city in the world. Textbook communist at the time, under the reign of Tito, an elderly woman came over and sat down across from me and asked me if I were an American. She said, “Until people have lost their freedom, they do not know what it is like to have it”. Slowly but surely Americans daily lose their freedom, and like the frog in the pot of heated water, they will not realize it until their liberty is completely gone. I can tell you now, having visited every communist country except North Korea, we are under as much collectivist, totalitarian control as any communist country. We still have the right to pay taxes on the house in which we live (you do not own your house, you only pay taxes to live in it, you do not own your car, you only pay taxes to drive it, you do not own anything, you are already enslaved by regulations, permits, licenses in every action).

The last great freedom of an American involved in security and privacy is your freedom regarding your sick care. I say “sick care” because nothing in the monster 2,000 page legislation now before the Congress pertains to wellness, preventative care, supplements. In fact, your ability to buy supplements, even such vitamins as the A,B,C and D vitamins, will be strictly prohibited to RX drugstore physician activity. You think sick care is costly now, with the new legislation, a couple making $100,000 combined income will pay $20,000 a year for this government care. You think bankrupt Medicare and Medicaid are problems now, go to a VA hospital and see war torn and worn veterans take a number and just sit for hours waiting for the most callous care one can imagine. Over the years, in any visit to a civilian doctor, I always ask my assistant, “How many people are here? What age are they?”. They are always old people there because the government will pay for it. If the government were not paying for it, most of these people would use home remedies. Most of these people would be more careful about their food intake, their exercise, their addictions.

50% of suicides are alcohol connected. 10% of all drivers on the highways are alcohol impaired. Alcohol for older citizens, like designer drugs for young people, are addictive because most are looking for escape, escape from the harsh realities which daily bombard us from every direction.

The new sick care legislation has nothing to do with insurance or government providing compassion for people. It is not health but a transfer of power, a loss of your freedom to choose. The government wants to take over this one-fifth of the country's economy with bankrupt systems involving every government agency, with entitlements and other debt (interest only debt). Your children and grandchildren are facing a $50 trillion national debt. A trillion dollars, in simple terms, would be the equivalent of spending one dollar per second for 32,000 years. Already, with a $12 trillion debt, every man, woman and child in America owes $250,000 dollars. A baby born out at the hospital this very morning, so cute, so innocent, owes the government $250,000.

Goldman Sachs is making $100 million a day from the fact that the dollar is so near worthless. This American company, with all it's bailouts, like the Saudis, like the local banks with their bailouts, are spending almost worthless fiat currency to push up the stock market. Would it not be terrible for this nation to have enemies?

Iceland, preceding the American experience, allowed their banks to make frivolous loans to bank officers, employees, and others closely connected to the banks without having any standards with which to back up the practices. The entire nation, from financial incredulity and the Marxist system of welfare, is entirely broke. Reportedly, in such dire financial trouble, they have nowhere to go. So much financial corruption, they have had trouble finding anyone to clean it up. They reportedly appointed an innocuous police chief from a remote town. As I heard of the futility of the Iceland financial system, I could not help but think of the thousands of fish I saw on racks, in Iceland, drying in the sun. Like the dried fish, like any mammal when all internal consciousness has been removed (Americans are about to be gutted and put out to dry), we face the certainty of desolation. There is much criticism in Iceland from the media about the dire circumstances of the country. Iceland, with it's state controlled media, could not see the desolation coming. Do you think for one minute the state controlled media in America has investigated the consequences of proposed sick care or any of the other Obama surge to communism? The media proclaims that there must be change. The very ones in government, politicians and bureaucrats, who have concocted this cauldron of legislation are the very ones who could have corrected the many warts and fallacies in the present insurance and care systems (health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, VA).

Immanuel Velikovsky's World In Collision was a matter of scandal in scientific circles for many years, censored in Europe, and a matter of laughter in American universities because he attempted to combine Biblical miracles with facts of geology. We do know this: the exploration has become a matter of great interest and the spending of billions by the world's scientific community and particularly the billions of dollars wasted by NASA sending vehicles into space, when we know full well that whatever they find will do very little to help the common man on earth.

The supposed earth warming idea has made a billionaire of Al Gore.

The ancients studied the heavens. Today's children seldom look at the stars in the sky. Most media personnel pay no attention at all to the fact that we have experienced very unusual weather (coldest summer in many years, such as that from 1635 to 1700 there was much starvation on the earth because of drastic climatic changes.)

Occasionally, some news report will speak of the unusual sunspots or flooded areas of the world. It has been reported that the Euphrates River is drying up. The sociology of climate change determines the lifestyle of most of the earth's population. The largest part of the earth's population lives within 20 miles of oceans. This accounts for the many deaths at a time of a tsunami.

At the time of Noah's great flood the population of the earth was approximately what it is today, 6 - 7 billion; and we find records of this upheaval in every civilization of that time. Mountain ranges changed. Sea levels rose; and entire cities on the continental shelf sunk into the deep.

The world's plight for oil is just beginning. It is reported that China, needing tremendous oil reserves for the world's largest population, is not only drilling around South America and Cuba, but by some strange quirk of state department stupidity, beyond the imagination of billions spent there, is drilling in Iraq.

In visiting China 3 times I have been amazed to find a complete lack of religion and tradition. All cemetery tombstones were beaten up to build roads. You never see vacant land anywhere, certainly not landscaping for highways. Every parcel of land is used to grow something. As in Cuba, completely revolutionized to eliminate all tangential enjoyment, these communist countries, in this time of American health care interest, have no obscene drug producer prices. All citizens can go to a dentist when necessary at least once a year. In Cuba, there is an excess of 2000 medical doctors graduated each year. And in China, each commune maintains a health care facility.

It has always horrified me, as a health care practitioner and one who has studied American health care from the time I first entered the university and worked at a medical school, that organized medicine has kept such a close reign on medical schools only turning out a precise number so that the monopoly and care could be strictly controlled. The same goes on in dentistry (most of us sit around with “toxic pockets” of dental needs but are unable to pay the insidious prices at a dentist office) and other areas. Drug companies have become the world's prize “cash cow”, sending out their highly paid pharmaceutical representatives to educate the prescribers of their drugs, on the run, and enticing the prescriber's medical, dental, veterinarian, optometric, osteopathic, public health, etc., by wining and dining them, taking them on plush conference vacations. These health care practitioners who desire to live in the finest homes on “pill hill” must have at least two Mercedes parked in the driveway. While it is true that we risk all, to go to school for a very long time, and do expect to make a good living, the insidious closed circuit monopolistic system has not lent itself to the Christian principles of loving your neighbor. There are four drug company lobbyists in Washington for each legislator writing the legislation to suit their price fixing, drug pushing policies. They, wine and dine them with meals in the national capital's most expensive restaurants or with the most expensive whores, buying if not with actual cash which is more easily traced, with the health care billions, of tax payer dollars, which has made needed sufferers in this country, more sick and enslaved than the enslaved masses under communism. Michael Moore is not all wrong in his evaluation of American health care, nor is he wrong in his evaluation of American capitalism, which he calls “acceptable greed”.

It was determined long ago that 45 billion dollars would wipe out most of the poverty of the world. Put wells in African communities where there is no clean drinking water. Eliminate hunger in a world where many foodstuffs spoil. Reduce the senseless deaths of the 3000 children who die from malaria each day. Yet, in this useless, winless, Afghanistan conflict because of the corruption there between the fraud government, suspicious CIA drug activity, and even more suspicious oil pipeline, 33 billion is reported to have just disappeared.

The 2000 mile porous Afghanistan-Pakistan border, the nearly 1000 mile porous Iran-Afghanistan border, the most unconquerable mountain range in the world (Hindu Kush) should be reason enough for America and her allies to say as did Russia and Britain, just let the tribal leaders have the place, as was done throughout history. When Kipling was there, he called the place, indescribably heathen. I was there 3 times and I can justify his comments. Why send America's most precious possessions, young men and women, to battle in such an untenable situation? These children may mean nothing to you, the elitest hierarchy, in corrupted palaces of leadership throughout the world; but you, Mr. Obama, and consorts, as you eat off your gold plates, these young people mean something to the mothers and fathers who made them worthy American citizens. Isaiah 10:1. And for the many who have come back from the senseless wars, and from this veteran who has weathered many VA hospital facilities, I can say with all sincerity, to the uninitiated, everything is obscure.

According to Grimm's fairy tale, in 1284, the town of Hamelin, Germany, had a great rat infestation. A man named Kurt came into the town to visit his uncle and offered to get rid of the rats. He lured the rats out of town by playing his pipe. The rats followed him to the river and drowned. Then, of course, rid of the problem, the townspeople refused to pay him. But on the feast day of Saint John and Saint Paul, while all the townspeople were in church, Kurt, returned to the town and this time, lured all the children to the river, where they drowned, with the exception of two special needs children, one deaf, the other crippled, who were unable to follow, but gave an account of the act.

This is one of the first times in history that we have seen disabled people put in a good light. Last week, the world Olympics for the deaf, attracting 4000 deaf people, had their games in Tai Pai, Taiwan. We hear of special Olympics for other disabled world citizens. But, I have yet to hear of any games or anything else for the world's blind. We can understand why blind Bartimaeus as Jesus approached near Jericho, said, “Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me.” (Mark 10:47). In ObamaCare, we pray that some mercy will be shown on blind citizens.

There are 70 million citizens eligible for membership in the AARP. Mr. Obama, like most politicians, and following the incentives of representative Claude Pepper, so active in this organization, has just assumed, its liberal potential. Not following tax guidelines, the organization was recently fined $135 million dollars. It only had 1300 people working in its headquarters, keeping a track on things. But, it is reported that the group cut a check for the full amount. Such is what goes on with infiltration of rats in liberal groups such as AARP, NEA, AMA, academics and other unions.

If you don't learn from your own mistakes, you can learn from the mistakes of others. Those of you who voted for Obama, will have plenty of time to repent. Your new health care plan, will be like that of the American Indians on their reservation. They either got their health care before June, before the money ran out, or they got none because after June there was no money. In the new socialized plan, after 65, there will be little or no health care for senior citizens. Maximum health care will be given between the ages of 18 and 40. After 40, senior citizens will be limited.

A recent VA end-of-life planning document “Your Life, Your Choices”, given to all veterans who avail themselves services at a VA hospital, seems to encourage veterans to make life-ending decisions by considering several scenarios in which they might consider their lives not worth living. This is reminiscent of early 1930's in Hitler's Germany, when 275,000 disabled Germans were exterminated because the populous bought the Nazi doctrine that, “in their condition, this is what they would want”. Much like the same mantra, promoted and published before the Jews entry into the gas chambers, “this is being done for the benefit of your country.” We always want everything for the benefit of the many, at the expense of the few. Never sign an organ donor card. Medical histories are being punctuated by helpless, live citizens being put to death by a nebulous alliance of unconcerned next-of-kin with medical personnel anxious for fresh organs for transplant.

God directed Abraham to leave the wealthiest home in the Middle East in Ur of the Chaldees, and traveled 600 miles north, just on pure faith, he took with him his nephew, Lot. Abraham, the first Jew, did not have to take his nephew and when there were problems with their herdsmen, did not have to give nephew, Lot, first choice of grazing land. Lot chose the more fertile land, along with the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah from which uncle Abraham had to rescue him. Lot lost all, even his wife, who was so seduced by wickedness, she was turned into a pillar of salt. (Genesis 12 and 13). Symbolic of God's value placed on the compound, salt that it is the saving entity of the world, but turned towards sin, it is worthless.

The rainbow reflects light the same the world over, just as a drop of water refracts color in light the same the world over. Technology has changed the world, but it has never changed human nature. There are certain absolutes, the absolute of the atomic weights of the Periodic Table, the elements' exact color in analysis, the absolutes of the 12 notes or tones in the rhythmic scale, the absolute of the laws of motion, the absolute that man is a flawed, sin-cursed, covetous, prideful descendant of original sin.

More families are split up by inheritance than any other way. Children who sat at a dining table with their parents when growing up, saw their parents working hard in order to leave an estate for them, many times will not speak to one another after the estate is divided. So afraid are they, that one will get more than the other. Usually, the smaller the estate, the greater the animosity. I have lived in my present house since it was built 40 years ago. Neither of my two brothers have ever been in my house, because at the insolence of my one sister, they all became so contemptuous in the settling of our parents' estate. I had nothing to do with the estate settlement. My name was even fabricated on documents.

Take great assurance in the sameness and sureness of God. When anyone questions the voracity of God's Word, I point to the universe wherein, in it's vastness, he used just five words which have never been repudiated. “He made the stars also.” (Genesis 1:16). Light travels 186,000 miles per second. It takes 2 ½ days for light to travel from the nearest star, 93 million miles away. Yet, the very hairs on your head are numbered. Question this power if you dare. Imagine mere mortals, made in the image of God, joint heirs with Jesus Christ, confusing limited intelligence with the omnipotence of God.


This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

Health Gauntlet

In studying health and trying to protect your health, you feel you are running through a gauntlet, being hazed from each side, by those who do know and those who don't know about the importance of health care. One of the first things my physiology professor said in school, the body has a remarkable ability to heal itself. In dealing with patients, this is something I kept uppermost in my mind; although most patients, do not feel they have received any dedicated care, unless they can walk out of your office with a prescription for chemicals, for which they must sweat out much money.

As a university student, working in the medical school at UNC Chapel Hill, (only a 2 year school at the time), having been reared on a farm, I assisted Miss Pickard, the Medical Librarian and Dr. W. C. George, head of the Anatomy Department, with their adjoining farms, (their hobbies when not working at the school.) in discussing being reared in the poverty of an Eastern NC farm, he said, “You poor thing, eating fresh vegetables and drinking fresh well water, I bet you ate berries off bushes in the woods and the ditch banks. You will probably live a long healthy life.” He knew just as other health professionals have learned, that it is what you put in your body, that determines your health, certainly not the genetically engineered and modified vegetables and fruits such as seedless grapes and tomatoes and corn, which is grown with active disease prevention.

Later, in practice, as I have discussed in another commentary, I became acquainted with two old doctors who firmly believed in treating illness with food. One, so opposed to chemicals in drinking water (chloride, fluoride) was a candidate for congress at age 100. God designed food for your knowledge and treatment. Slice the carrot across and see the iris and pupil of the eye looking back at you. Eat foods with seeds and treat all your circulatory problems (strawberries, apples, figs, tomatoes, shaped very much like the heart). Study the layers of the onion under the microscope, they look very much like the tissues of the body; pears are shaped very much like the reproductive system of a female.

The soil of this nation is completely depleted of all minerals. God put every element we would ever need for our living in the soil of the earth. Your body is starving for these elements and that is the reason you are hungry all the time. Just eating the products of fast food and glamorized, radiated, preserved foods will add weight but contributes nothing to your general health. So, one half of the population is obese and most are diabetic. If the body were a battery, it would be 40% depleted. A Chinese maxim says, “If God did not make it, don't eat it.” Another one states, “Eat fresh foods in their season.” You are much better to eat living foods, than dead foods, particularly dead animals. Do you have any idea of the time it takes for you to digest aged steak?

Look in the Bible and determine what you should eat. Like everything else in life, it is the answer book. When patients came to me who were eating pork, particularly such disgusting items, as chitterlings, hogs feet, souse meat, or even sausage, I told them they were “rooting their way into a grave.” There are chemicals in pork which make it very tasty. But any normal, sensible human being with a few brain cells still functioning, would know that there is no animal on earth that is as dirty as a hog. I will give you a written guarantee, that if you eat wieners made of pork, you will become diabetic.

Pain is your friend. When you have pain, it means that there is something definitely wrong. Find the cause of the pain. Do not camouflage the pain with chemicals. Millions are made in orthopedic clinics (since the government pays for it), on joint replacements. Fifty percent of all back surgery results in a worsened condition. But, as I say to everyone seeking hip, knee, etc. replacements, “you know how bad you hurt. But, it is my firm conviction that a reduction in weight and sensible exercise will lead you to keep your God-given joints.” Our genetics are adapted to tropical foods. However, in the winter, there are winter grown foods such as collards and turnip greens which are a blessing to digestion.

Ancestral genes will find you out for several generations. If children grow up seeing beer in the refrigerator, seeing parents drink these damnable, soft diet drinks, expect poor health for many generations. I know of nothing any worse for the human body, than aspartame and sunscreen. The human body must have sunshine, Vitamin D, for survival.

Money from the Rockefeller Foundation has controlled health school education, to the extent that the importance of supplements and clean water and other health disciplines have been left out of the care picture. Remember Senator J. Rockefeller is trying to control the internet, the very place where most citizens learn alternative care. The sheltering of their tax largess from the government to the detriment of other health disciplines besides western medicine, has created, with the help of lobbyists, a consortium of pharmacy greed and medical patronage which has lead health care into the shadows of debauchery.

In the debate about government health care, remember government is a fearful servant, but a much, much more fearful master. The power to tax is a power to deceive. Aldous Huxley speaking at Berkeley in 1962, said, “Get ready for servitude”.

Assembly line medicine, the warts on the present system, by the greed and control of insurance companies, will seem lax for the recipients of Medicare and Medicaid, compared to your loss of all privacy and security with ObamaCare. Number One, the country cannot afford socialized health care. The government is bankrupt. Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security are bankrupt. Midwest Free Press reports Medicare is paying out more than it collects and has done so since 2008. The trust fund is only backed by paper. It is so obvious for anyone to understand, even one who is totally blind. I hear alternative practitioners come on the radio, talking about alternative care to chemicals such as homeopathy and chiropractics. Always, without exception, the first caller seeking help for a real problem, usually pain and distress somewhere, will always preface his question by asking, “will insurance pay for this?” For the past 25 years, every time I was in a clinic of any sort, I always asked my driver, “How many people are here? How old are they?” The place was always full of old people, most of whom would not be there if they were paying for the care themselves. How many of your friends actually check the insurance payment to see what was charged? Since the insurance or government was paying for the treatment, they do not care what was charged. You can be sure that if a single tax payer, the government is paying for everything. Most will run to a doctor or hospital for any or everything.

Stay fit. Stay physically fit. Stay emotionally fit. And most important, stay spiritually fit. Remember, our blessed Lord, who died for our sins, died for our healing. By His Stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

Kleenex Mentality

Twice in my life, in traveling the world, this totally blind man became lost from his guide. Once, in taking the ferry from Dover to Calais, my guide and I became separated and I got on the wrong train to Paris. I was supposed to ride, of course, in a first class train but someway, somehow in the spillage of the train station, with all the school children on holidays from England to France and France to England, I got into a second class train full of French school children. Of course the trains travel very rapidly, and they take up little time for problems in railroad stations. The French children were very excited to have a blind American in their car and when the conductor came through, contacting the teachers about the tickets for the children, they all said that I was traveling with them. When I arrived in Paris, and debarked from the train, I thought, “Now what am I going to do?” Through sounds, as usual, I made my way out of the station, then decided to go down the street because my chances of getting a taxi there would be much better than around the train station. I did find a taxi. I knew the hotel in Paris in which I was staying and in my broken French, I told the driver to go to that hotel. When I asked him if he would take American dollars for his fare, of course he said, “Mais, oui!” When I walked into the Sheraton, my guide was at the front desk, arranging to call out the French army, evidently to find me. I said, “Surely you realize a man who has traveled the world many times can get from Calais to Paris!”

Again, when in the Dhaka, Bangladesh, the poorest, most frustrating, most populated place on earth, I was separated from my guide by a mob on the riverbank near a very populated part of of the city. According to AP, over 7 million people are snake-bitten in Bangladesh each year, and of that number 6,000 die. Much of the year, as now, about half the land is covered with water, so there are snakes everywhere, and I am deathly afraid of snakes. Finally, some police officer took me to a police station. In Bangladesh, women are mostly in charge of government, and they are very corrupt; the last two Prime Ministers both went to prison for corruption. A cold, calculating woman took me into an interrogation room and I think, just to get her kicks, began questioning me about what I was doing in Bangladesh. She said, “You Americans are so transparent in your aggression- you like to come into poor countries, make photographs of poor people, and then return home with arrogant pride, and bask in your opulence.” I said to her, “Dear lady, I am not a political or media figure, I am just passing through your country, and if you will be good enough to help me get back to my hotel, where my guide is trying very hard to find me, I will make sure he gets me out of your country, and I promise to never return.” About that time, my frustrated guide came in the room, relieved to find me, and my interrogator said, “I have tried to give him a hard time, but he is one slick blind man.” To this day, I have no desire to return to that God-forsaken country and their snakes, reptiles, and mammalian.

In this “Kleenex Mentality”, where it is difficult to remember horrendous news flashes from one week to the next, our problems are incomprehensible by the “pile on effect”: one problem just piles onto another, and before we can understand the problem of this week, we are deeply involved in the problems of next week. Instead of solutions, one after another, in the canyons of Wall Street, in the sorcery-ridden streets of the nation's capital, in the state house, and even the local court house, most debauchery is not discovered and that which is discovered is seldom brought to light or solved. Instead of light overcoming the darkness, darkness just keeps enveloping the light.

A frustration, to most Americans, is the knowledge of the obscenity and insanity of Wall Street thievery, the parasites who are sucking the very life out of the economy, awarded with tremendous bonuses. Incompetence in business and elsewhere, bailed out by hardworking, sweating, pockets-picked citizens, the politicians who claim to be able to fix the problems are the very ones who cause the dilemma.

An administration, the most anti-life, culture of death ideology ever to be in power (abortion, euthanasia), claim to have the answer for all health care. Will you even imagine that Kathleen Sibelius, Secretary of Health and Human Resources, who was the largest contributor to Dr. Tiller, who killed 60,000 babies each year, is now interested in the lives of babies, and certainly not in the lives of the elderly who engulf most health care dollars in their last years of life? The “Kleenex Mentality”, in health care, as with every other tax supported care- just use if possible, then throw away.

Supposedly, the new digital television “is an advanced broadcasting technology that has transformed your television viewing experience. DTV has enabled broadcasters to offer television with better picture and sound quality. It also offers multiple programming choices, called multicasting, and interactive capabilities”. There is something very strange about the evolution of television. I have always been suspicious of television reception and perception. Since this invention has become the “idol worship” in most homes, adults and children bowing down to this idol, glued to it for many hours, “dumbed down” by its mediocrity, and failure to challenge intelligence development. I believe that Satan has engulfed the mind with a tissue of subliminal impotence not sustainable in a world of accomplishment. I am told that in this new system (digital) school children, when watching programs on this new television, immediately go to sleep- they simply cannot stay awake. And, that adults, already couch potatoes, are more incompetent than ever. Please answer why perfectly good television sets are no longer usable without the attachment of a digital converter box? In a 'cash for clunkers' program, why not pay citizens for their old, turned-in TV sets? In the Obama world, those who have never worked for anything just get paid for turning in old things since somewhere, somehow under the “rules for radicals”, borrowed money will pay for disposables!

In the world of psycho-physical, where evil men have such black hearts, it is incomprehensible that a child can be kidnapped at age eleven, kept completely isolated from the world as a slave of the kidnapper, and then show up eighteen years later with two young children of her own, who have never been exposed to life outside of a small fortress. Our neighbors and law enforcement so totally immune to the world around them, our service repair people, even other children in the community so deaf and so blind that they cannot have suspicions about one house in one community. In our “Kleenex mentality”, do we just spend every day in such a routine that we no longer are afforded suspicions or imaginations? Was it the Stockholm syndrome? Is it conceivable that one physician certainly known by pharmacists and other physicians to be a “rock-star” care-giver, could be using medications not normal to pharmacists or law enforcement? Have we become so indoctrinated by the bizarre, and infected by mediocrity, that wholesome introspection is no longer expected? Our “Kleenex mentality” applies to not only physical objects, but mental callousness- we just don't care, anymore.
