There are many -isms that should be -wasms. Socialism, Communism, Nazism, Fascism, even Nihilism. Genus Homo (Human Being) is the only member of the animal kingdom who has the ability to think-reason-make predetermined decisions. In my lifetime (84) I have personally seen human beings dumbed down by a secular-state news media who are determined to do all of the thinking for you. We call such, "Stinking Thinking." Satan is in control of such thinking, it should be very obvious to anyone with an IQ above their shoe size. Madison Ave., the world, flesh devil, would have you believe that government knows best... that government knows best with your values judgment, political correctness, the necessity to be popular. There was a time we called such "controls" brainwashing. We have seen the cheapening of life (abortion, euthanasia), the greatest gift in God's creation. It is beyond the comprehension of this writer, one who has spent his entire life in science and healthcare. That those who should know the "magnificence" of the human body, even a rudimentary knowledge of epidemiology, could not with certainty COMPREHEND THE HORRORS OF A VIRUS.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed on Tuesday that a patient being treated at a Dallas hospital has tested positive for Ebola, the first case diagnosed in the United States.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas officials said in a statement Monday that an unnamed patient was being tested for Ebola and had been placed in "strict isolation" due to the patient's symptoms and recent travel history.

Presbyterian Hospital says it's taking measures to keep its doctors, staff and patients safe.

CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden said that the patient arrived in Texas from Liberia earlier this month and exhibited no symptoms. The patient sought care last Friday and has been hospitalized in isolation since the weekend. Frieden said that officials don't believe there is any risk to anyone who was on the flight at that time.

State health officials say no other cases are suspected in Texas.

The hospital had announced a day earlier that the patient's symptoms and recent travel indicated a case of Ebola, the virus that has killed more than 3,000 people across West Africa and infected a handful of Americans who have traveled to that region.

The CDC has said 12 other people in the U.S. have been tested for Ebola since July 27. Those tests came back negative.

Four American aid workers who have become infected while volunteering in West Africa have been treated in special isolation facilities in hospitals in Atlanta and Nebraska, and a U.S. doctor exposed to the virus in Sierra Leone is under observation in a similar facility at the National Institutes of Health.

The U.S. has only four such isolation units but the CDC has insisted that any hospital can safely care for someone with Ebola.

According to the CDC, Ebola symptoms can include fever, muscle pain, vomiting and bleeding, and can appear as long as 21 days after exposure to the virus.

Jason McDonald, spokesman for the CDC, said health officials use two primary guidelines when deciding whether to test a person for the virus.

"The first and foremost determinant is have they traveled to the region (of West Africa)," he said. The second is whether there's been proximity to family, friends or others who've been exposed, he said.

U.S. health officials have been preparing since summer in case an individual traveler arrived here unknowingly infected, telling hospitals what infection-control steps to take to prevent the virus from spreading in health facilities. People boarding planes in the outbreak zone are checked for fever, but symptoms can begin up to 21 days after exposure. Ebola isn't contagious until symptoms begin, and it takes close contact with bodily fluids to spread.

God wanted me to sense the world. Though sightless, I could smell, hear and understand matters that were described to me. I remember going to the hospital on Easter Island, not one patient in the hospital, so careful were these people in keeping an island of healthiness-righteousness in a sea of paganism and disease (an island five hundred miles off the coast of South America in the Pacific Ocean). In my eight around the world trips, I found that in many countries, anyone even suspected of a disease was isolated... prohibited from entering their country. I saw a large group isolated in Israel. With all this so-called scientific competence of America, we would dare allow disease to enter, via airports overnight. In most of the world, there are few hospitals, fewer nursing homes etc. The people have an acquired immunity to most diseases they come into contact. Plus, they do not live such sanitized-sterilized lives.

I was in almost every African country, will never recover from their sick-care system. What was called a hospital, a building with mats on the floor... families outside cooking on open fires (I will never forget all that smoke). Themselves cooking for and taking care of their loved one in the so-called hospital. It's just the grace of God that most people do not succumb to any disease in these places. But, is it any better here? We allow just about anyone to enter at our airports... the mad rush to just get through and grab a cab. Anyone, when ill, difficulty in getting diagnosed, visitors in and out of the hospitals bringing in on their shoes, clothing, every type of germ. Anyone ill enough to be in the hospital, should not have visitors. This writer was astounded at a local hospital, actual carpeting in corridors, draperies on windows, stuffed chairs in rooms. It would seem that the "scientist" managing these facilities were attempting to harbor every germ possible. But of course, big pharma, big medicine, big sick-care staffing, big houses on "pill hills", do not get rich from healthy or dead people, only sick people. The objective is to keep as many people sick as possible, keep everyone taking as many medications as possible. This is the reason America spends more on sick-care than any other nation, why there is never a cure for anything... ONLY TREATMENT. As it spreads, and it surely will spread, people and projects will get rich from Ebola.

Weaning

Last Monday, (November 21, 2011) the population of the world reached seven billion. Very few people actually understand the majesty and magnificence of God. Sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, God had the ability, before Noah's flood (5000BC) and since, and even today, to create every human being completely different from anyone else, voice, facial features, fingerprints, even the flex in the iris of the eye, even identical twins, no two exactly alike.

God has the ability, if He so chooses or if He had chose, to give everyone a Damascus Road experience. Seven billion flashes of light, knocking you off a horse, blinding you, is not serious work for him. HE IS BOSS! It bothers some of our intellectual friends but He does what He wants to do and does not care whether you like it or not.

I am as convinced as alive, that when children were exposed to rural, country life, they and the world were far different. Tragic that all children cannot experience the fundamentals of nature, such as the weaning of animals. It was so naturally expected, that the young calf was weaned from the milk cow, pigs were weaned from the sow, the mother dog knows that her babies must be weaned. I sat outside on a balcony in Africa, a large nest of strange birds, and saw the mother knock them out of the nest. The mother eagle changes the nest until the young eaglets “leave home”. There are 13 species of penguins... all have the same characteristics, they know when the young should leave. I watched this in the Antarctic. The emperor penguins, tallest, both mother and father feed them for just a certain time. The nesting mother hen, chicken yard, with a brain about the size of a pin head, can be seen turning the eggs of which she is hatching every day. One of the greatest miracles known to man, the eggshell, the hatching chick pecks through it but, early, you see the mother hen teaching the chick to scratch the earth, search for food, and then they are on their own.

I will never forget the day, my father showed me about the satanic ability of weeds... tares. The roots of a weed will encircle and choke a good plant. Growing crops, you must smother, with earth, or otherwise destroy weeds, or weeds-tares will take over and destroy the crop. Seminaries, Bible Colleges, have forgotten to teach young preachers, that God, who knows all, has taught us about tares and growing things. Young preachers, minimal believers, (those who just show up at the church house for an hour on Sunday, live like the world the rest of the week) have not recognized that the church has been destroyed since the tares have taken over. Don't they know that Judas, disciple, observer of every miracle, was a tare, destroyed at the very last? They have wrapped their groups of immorality, indifference, around the worship service and every other ministry of the church to the place that the church has lost it's effectiveness. The real believers, committed followers, born again Christians, do not have the courage and faithfulness to our Savior and the saints who have preserved belief, to wean off the tares. So, the church, in most places, has become either a morgue or country club with steeple. Go to the average night club, country club, civic club... same people, same language, same apparel, and in many cases, almost the same music. What has happened to the Romans 12 Christian? What has happened to the covenant between God and man (Hebrews 8:12)

Be careful and do not attribute human frailty to exploitation trending from right and left brain dominance. Man was adapting to environment before any knowledge of genetics. Remember, the largest cause of death in America, the malpractice of physicians and hospitals. (overdose from prescriptions, surgery mistakes, erroneous diagnoses) The secular media, who controls most thinking, who elects most politicians, would have everyone totally dependent on government... unweaned at any age. Joseph Stalin, who killed 63 million of his fellow Russians to enforce Godless communism, would be astounded to see how quickly America has fallen to socialism. From 1799 til 1892, America was declared a Christian nation... biblically-inspired - God-fearing, hard-working , capitalists, tax-paying citizens. Now, after 235 years, “trough huggers, entitlements, one half the population wanting to live off the other half”.

Like MRSA, no treatment, bacteria-eating flesh, the time has come that America, if going to survive, must wean it's citizens from dependence on government... government supplying all needs and citizens lying, cheating, stealing for their wants.

Stalactites

Almost as remarkable as icicles frozen from water dripping down, is the formation of stalactites in many of the world's caves.  There are caves in this country that have such formations (Mammoth KY), but the one I saw in Elephanta, India, were truly remarkable.  The caves can only be reached by boat on the island of Elephanta.  The huge caves have been transformed into Hindu temples and the entrances have been sculptured to represent a temple.  Like the constant drip of water to make an icicle which will sometimes extends down many feet before being broken, the stalactites are formed from the top of the cave with a constant drip of moisture, and very much like coral in the ocean, it develops into a thing of natural beauty, which no artist could duplicate. 

I have beautiful pieces of coral and shelves from the island of Mauritius and the Seychelles (Indian Ocean).  When we consider that it probably takes hundreds or thousands of years for the formation of the coral.  Each shell, coral, or stalactite starts with the granulation of one small animal which over hundreds of thousands of years increasing modulation of moisture and temperature leads to a spectacular result.  The Great Barrier Reef in Australia, 1250 miles long, including many islands of the coast of Queensland bordering the Coral Sea, started with small animals called coral, much like a jellyfish,,that died and over a very long period of time led to this natural barrier, large enough to be seen from outer space.

Can one even imagine or attempt to compute the microscopic organisms involved in the formation of this great reef. The formation of coral and many other estuaries or the formations of stalactites, formed in much of the same way in caves, not only in India and Indonesia, but around the world. All these sculptures of nature become tourist attractions and phenomena of artists, as well as atheists.

From the beginning of the 20th century, and certainly in my lifetime, we have seen this  country become a stalactite, slowly but surely, layer upon layer often almost microscopic and unnoticeable, certainly unreported, we have seen stalactite formation of the socialist agenda with a certain communist result. The truth is the truth whether anyone believes it or not.  But to the skeptic, study your history and look around you at what has happened to your country.  If you do not see this slow layering of socialistic ideas, you are more blind then this writer. (I am a totally blind 100% disabled service-connected veteran).  THINK ON THIS. 

Secular security has replaced sacred sanity.

Political correctness has replaced patriotic principles.

Addiction has replaced accomplishment.

Corrupt voyeurs has replaced patriotic competence.

Purulent art has replaced antiquarian masters.

Compulsive disorders have replaced Christian doctrine.

Drums and drama have replaced quiet worship.

Subsidized wants have replaced necessary needs.

Government checks have replaced God’s omnipotence.

At a time when government controls manipulate every area of your life, you must have a permit or license to do anything, when failures are honored with “bailouts” and “payouts”. When an ROTC student gets a larger government check each month than a 100% disabled veteran. When hospitals, schools, jails, are overrun by illegals who have entered the country, a country supported by hard working tax paying citizens, whose previous family generations had paid the taxes and built the inner structure which the illegals now compromise. When the dirty book stores, once located in back alleys, now have their wares for view in every living room. When the trash on television attracts more watchers than political nominees seeking votes. When, instead of the church changing the world, the world has absolutely changed the church. When TV preachers are more entertaining, with their laughter and clapping, than night club comedians...we can know that God-less collectivism, control, and communism has taken over.

 We have seen political tyrants seize countries and exploit citizens by taking their property and their sexuality as in Africa, Latin America, etc. But, for a country, built on the principles of freedom, rights, even though it has been hard coming to many people, no one could have foreseen that we would vote for enslavement. Slavery is much easier to the slave master if no resistance is offered. The slave master is very happy for the slave to show obedience, hard work and willingly turn over the results of his labors to the owner. In the Roman Empire, slaveholders furnished a circus or some other entertainment to keep the enslaved happy. Willing accomplices in the entertainment industry keep the slaves occupied, when not at work, in front of their most valuable idol, the TV set. Dependence on the blessings of God is not important when you can depend on government subsidized housing, health care, education, food stamps, and meager living expenses.

In world travel, (8 around the world trips, passport stamped in 157 countries) I was in each communist country (crossed Russia on the Tran-Siberian railroads, one of the first Americans into China after the Nixon reopening), I can say with all sincerity and honesty, even though it was a matter of using my other senses rather then my eyes, this country now has a perfect communist system, without a revolution. In China, Russia, Korea, Cuba, etc, the people fought for their liberty.

We hear politicians talk much about freedom and liberty just as they always say at the end of a speech “God bless you”. What God are they talking about? Most know nothing of almighty God, if they, did their lives would be different. Like the Christian church, we just talk and plan, if the Christian would live the Christian life before his fellow man, the entire world would, by now, been converted to Christ, and the stalactites of communist takeover would not be so completely obvious.

Dr. Thomas Woods, author of the 2009 best seller, “Meltdown,” describes in detail the financial collapse we are enduring at the present time. The federal reserve had been the chief cause of this depression.  Alan Greenspan put 8 million a week into the economy trying to prevent this depression.  Ronald Reagan in 1987 authorized the treasury department to spend billions to prevent a stock market plunge, it was called the “plunge protector“. These activities, and worse with this new administration,  is just digging the hole deeper, a hole that many generations will encounter as they carry bundles of money to the grocery store to buy anything.  Social security is and will be the biggest problem.  The older people who are drawing on social security now will probably draw $70,000 more than they put in.  The younger people will put in $300,000 more then they will ever draw out.

New polls show that 53% of Americans now prefer socialism and they are most certainly going to get their wish. The problem is, they have never seen socialism at work in a truly socialist country. Most of these people have never seen the dehumanizing of people, as in China, Russia, North Korea, etc. Americans can hardly wait to get socialized healthcare.  Only those with veterans administration experience in VA hospitals know the horror stories of socialized healthcare. (I am totally blind 100% disabled service-connected veteran)  I am one of a group of veterans who have the opportunity to go to private facilities for care on a “fee basis” accommodation because of my condition. But, I have spent much time in military facilities and VA facilities, as well as being a military medical officer myself.

I have had a variety of drivers drive me to VA hospital facilities for care.  Each one left in shock when they saw the impersonal treatment. It is a matter of taking a number and waiting.  Recently, on a trip to the VA Hospital Durham, NC, I was sitting next to a WWII veteran who, like the apostle Paul, showed the marks of his service to our country. He told me about running through a burning building getting patients out of a hospital. Of course he told me about his many decorations and his lifelong fight just to keep living. When I finally got into the room for the drawing of my blood, I said to the technician, “The colonel before me is a great hero. Did you notice how his entire body was scarred?” She said “ These old men ought to just go ahead and die.” I said, “ What about me? Should I go ahead and die too?”  This is the attitude in socialized healthcare.

3,500 innocent babies are killed everyday. If these folks do not care about the most innocent of life, you can be sure that the older people will be put to death. I sent a complaint to the VA hospital in Durham, NC about the fact that it is difficult for blind patients to get around the large facility, unlike Duke University Eye Center, right across the street, where they have volunteers to help the blind people to get from one clinic to another. The chief of staff called me and expressed his dislike for my suggestion and that they were just waiting for me to die. So, I could understand the attitude of the people who work in the hospital.

Governor Sebelius, Kansas tax evader, received thousands of dollars from Dr. George Tiller, the world's best known abortionist. Sebelius, catholic, is Obama’s choice for the chief of the Department of Health and Human Resources.  There are enough Catholics, members of the US senate, to block her confirmation, and Dr. Tiller was her chief supporter in her race for Governor. When will the pro-life Catholics in this country take a stand for life, against the promoters of abortion such as Obama, Sebelius, Pelosi, Biden, Kennedys, etc.

An experiment in socialism was conducted some years ago in one of our leading universities. The professor said as long as they came to class he would give everyone the same grade on their tests. It so happened that the first test everyone got a B. The next test everyone got a C, and finally everyone in the class got an F. Because when there is no incentive for excellence everything goes down. I found in my 3 trips through China, since it reopened in 1976, that there is an attitude of just “live and let live”, no reason for excellence, no reason for hard work. As one student told me, when I spoke at a Chinese university, “it makes no difference how hard you work or what achievements you make, you will always be in the same category with the ones who do the least. Your life, your future, your final exit, is all determined by the state.”

In China, everyone wears the same clothes, everyone’s hair is cut the same way, (men and women) four families share one bathroom and one kitchen, parents can have one child, but that child immediately becomes the property of the state. Each parent has a work assignment and the child shortly after birth is taken to a government facility. I understand things have changed in recent years because of exposure to western capitalism. But those who have seen and experienced socialism, especially socialized healthcare, want no part of it. But, as in Saul Alinskey’s book “Rules for Radicals,” you isolate your target and expend all your energy achieving that target. The target of Obama and his fellow liberals is socialism and this certainly includes socialized healthcare. Like Belshazzar in his big liberal party in Babylon, the hand writing is on the wall. The catholic church has been held up as an example of socialism, because the officials of the church (Priest and Nuns) live “servant” lives with limited expenses and wealth.  Pope Pius 11th had 3 earned doctorates, yet was supposed to live a very frugal life.

It has always seemed strange for a man to have a house such as the Vanderbilt mansion (thousands of acres, hundreds of rooms) while decent American citizens live in poverty nearby. At least, in America, with our capitalistic system, we have the opportunity to achieve and to have a better house. In various businesses I have owned, I have put this system to the test and have always found it works. Just as the wait staff make better tips by good service and efforts of their own, I found that giving management a percentage of my profit from a business above a certain figure always worked. The commission basis of sales has made this country the commercial center of the universe.

A doctor's personality accounts for 80% of his success. The patient appreciates the careful attention of any caregiver. In a socialized system, such as a VA hospital, if you smile or say something nice to a caregiver, they look at you like you're crazy. Many times, while at my residence in Manhattan, I would go to the VA facility in lower Manhattan, it was a total horror story. I remember one time, because I was a medical officer with rank, from the nurse who took my blood pressure to the last doctor I saw at the facility, each asked me to write a letter of commendation for them. Like the post office or any other socialized facility, they try to work free enterprise in a very perverted way.

The greatest problem with the socialist security system, which will be the next really big bail out, is that abortion has taken 50 million people out of the workforce. Those who would be working, paying taxes into the social security system, were murdered. The illegal immigrants, flooding across the borders, pay little into the system, but are bringing disaster to all healthcare facilities. If you wish to see nations that have already attempted suicide, look at Europe.

One million citizens of the world take their own lives each year. In most countries, it is young men. In China, there are about as many women suicides as men suicides. The dehumanizing of people, everyone just becoming a number, leads to the despair of suicide, especially with young men who have ego and ambition.

The Final Exit for most of us who have been fortunate enough to not have been aborted, in spite of the trials of living in the enslavement tax system of this country and if we are fortunate enough to escape euthanasia, we have the wonderful expectation of eternal life with joy beyond comprehension.

Fascism (2008)

Merriam-Webster defines fascism as follows: “a political philosophy, movement, or regime . . . that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.”

Socialism is defined as: “any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.”

Democracy is defined as: “a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.”

Often on “talk shows” and even in the print media, we find citizens on both the right and the left declaring or predicting that this democratic republic is headed for either fascism or socialism. The fifty-six signers of our Declaration of Independence, and the writers of the greatest document about government known to man--the Constitution of the United States--determined that this nation would be, and thank God it still is, a Democratic Republic. But, through the inequities of this country’s greatest shame, slavery, and the repudiation of our way of government by such men as Roger Baldwin, who founded the ACLU in 1917, or even Gus Hall, Chairman of the Communist Party in this country until he died in the year 2000, we have those citizens who, very much like Karl Marx, think that the only value of the people is their value to the state.

At the Kremlin in Moscow, standing in Lenin’s tomb, looking at his long-deceased constantly embalmed body, I could not help but think of his famous line, “A lie told often enough becomes truth.” I have been to Russia several times, and crossed Russia once on the Trans-Siberian railroad. I believe the most shocking experience of Soviet life was the regimentation of the people. When I walked out of the Metropol Hotel, I was greeted by the sight of very old women sweeping the streets. I was told that every life was regimented to a particular job. While there at a May Day celebration, I stood on Red Square with the delegation from Communist Cuba, watching the smiling uniformed citizens with their war-making, agriculture and commercialized equipment move through the square. Only on a holiday could a marriage take place and May Day is the country’s only holiday, so there were many bridal couples in evidence.

The most uncomfortable adaptation as a tourist was the peepholes in every room, regimented meals in the 2,000 seat militaristic-type dining room, and the fact that you felt you were being watched at all times. Even when I spoke at the University of Moscow.   The gauge of wheels on Russian trains are different from those on all other trains so on my train trip from London to Hong Kong the train carriage must be raised at the Russian border, and different wheels put on the train to fit the Russian tracks (all this work is done by women).

In China, (I was one of the first Americans into China after Nixon reopened it and was there twice after that time), like Russia, and the other Communist countries, particularly in the Balkans while they were still under Russian control, the tourists, like the citizens enjoyed no freedom at all of movement, housing, and even your food was carefully regulated as to amount. One distinguished judge from New York City told the guide, “I simply must have more food than this.  Even if it’s nothing more than just bread.” In Russia, if it had not been for black bread and beer, I would have starved to death. On the Trans-Siberian railroad train, every meal was a soup mixture and I noticed that the Russian citizens who were riding on the train were treated more like cattle than human beings.

In Cuba, the Committee for the Defense of the Revolution regulates everything a citizen does. The streets of each city and even rural areas are constantly patrolled and the most minor infraction is reported to the Commissar. Much of the turmoil taking place in the Congo this very day is because Patrice Lumumba invited Raul Castro to assist him in getting the Congo (a country as large as Europe) under control.

Every time I hear a liberal politician, academician, or commentator promote controls and regulation of the hard-earned freedoms which we enjoy in this country, I just want to slap someone. Every time I see a young person, always with a cell phone, wearing the latest trends in clothing, driving expensive cars, with more spending money than the wealthiest citizens in third world countries make, living decadent, uncaring lives I want to hit them over the head with my white cane (I am a 100% disabled, service-connected, totally blind veteran) and remind them of what the Founding Fathers and their own ancestors have left for them to enjoy.

To the uninitiated, everything is obscure. When will our educators, elementary, high school, and college, and the parents of these thankless students remind them that freedom is not free and that there are terrorists and fellow travelers who resent the prosperity and largess of this country and are willing to take it away from us?

Today, Jan 20th 2009, is coronation day for the non thinking voters who are inaugurating a President who still thinks he is a second coming reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln, who polished his own shoes, who knew hard work form his youth, who had never depending on a government grant of any type in achieving his education, and who truly believed in the Bible (God's Holy Word) of which he pledged his allegiance to this country and on which Bible Barrack Hussein Obama will take the oath. From my research, I can not find that this 44th President has ever worked a day in his life. He claims to have been a community organizer in this corrupt Chicago city, where corruption has always been totally organized. In the south, we call these community black men who walk around seeking votes for the democratic party, passing out money for votes, as 'walking money.' His father was a never do well from the African Nation of Kenya, who somewhere, somehow, met his hippie mother, and the young Obama received his education in the Islamic Madrassa School, most financed by Saudis (even in Indonesia). In his book 'Dreams of my Father' he states “In Indonesia, I’d spent 2 years at a Muslim school, 2 years at a Catholic school. In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell mother I made faces during Koranic studies. In the Catholic school, when it came time to pray, I’d pretend to close my eyes, then peek around the room. Nothing happened. No angels descended”. Perhaps this is what he was doing in the great Rev. Wright's church in Chicago, as the racist preacher damned our blessed Lord, and Mr. Obama claims in the 20 years there he heard nothing that was said. Obviously, he didn't see much because he did not notice that Harriet Tubman's portrait hung in the vestibule of the church. Until she died in 1913, she did not profess any Christianity either. But those at Harper's Ferry and other places in which she assisted in terrorizing would regret to think that her picture would be hanging in any building.

I kept saying to everyone that asked, “surely the Christian people of America, particularly the Catholics, would have more sense than to vote for this unashamed pro-abortionist candidate. It should antagonize every Christian and certainly every Catholic (That voted 54% for him), that this radical, pro abortion President, even to the extent of putting to death an innocent child when the abortioner became confused and the child instead of being killed was born alive bioethicist Dr. Singer at Princeton, whose special interest is in animal rights, and who promotes the idea of exterminating the child after a few weeks of life if not satisfied, would at least extend to this innocent, crying baby a few days of life”. For the many years I maintained an apartment which I used about one week a month in mid Manhattan. I attended the great 5th Avenue Presbyterian Church, a magnificent edifice with a paid, trained choir and I understand collected at least one million dollars each Sunday. For many years after the founding of Princeton, this same 5th Avenue Presbyterian Church would give a new suit of clothes to each preacher student who graduated. Now this same great church supports a bioethicist like Dr. Singer who is a promoter of infanticide. The great Presbyterian preacher Dr. Donald Gray Barnhouse, who I heard preach before he died in 1961, and who preached 435 sermons from the book of Romans alone. God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, [c] wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving,[d] unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.(Romans 1:28-32)

I am still waiting for someone to answer the following question, “how could any person who calls himself a 'Christian' (we know there is a difference between walkers and talkers), vote for a Democrat who promotes the killing of the most innocent of life, the unborn and those unwanted babies that are newly born? Do you not know that you will answer to the very God who spoke and the world was formed and who holds you responsible for your every action. (2 Cor:10-31) A verse of scripture which should scare you to death 'For He is coming to judge the earth”. With righteousness He shall judge the world, and the peoples with equity.' (Psalm 98:9)

Today, there are 42,000 law enforcement personnel keeping order for the estimated millions worshiping the new Messiah. There are 5,000 cameras scanning the areas and there are 5,000 port-a-johns involved in this coronation estimated to cost 150 million. We do what we do because we believe what we believe. These people who long ago, in the opinion of this 100% disabled, service connected, for 40 years totally blind veteran, actually believe that this Muslim/Christian/black/white/Socialist product of Chicago political corruption will make a difference in their lives. Margaret Thatcher, one of the world's real heroes, was born in a room above her father's butcher shop in Grantham, England, she said "the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money [to spend]." She stated about British socialism "to cure the British disease with socialism was like trying to cure leukemia with leeches." During the Great Depression church bells rang everyday, reminding a starving population that prayer meetings were being held every day of the week for our country. I doubt you will here Minister Benny Himm, who extracts 100 million dollars a year from his followers, or many of the other frauds and phoneys who fill the pulpits of this once Christian nation with the faith of our followers.

One day, one of my young drivers, a local university student, at this red-tide university system headed by President Clinton's former Chief of Staff Erskine Bowles, said to me “can you even imagine how much money I have spent on abortions for my girlfriends, my retort”, and he never worked for me again after that day. Well at least you have the joy of knowing you have children in heaven.

The Price of Healthcare

As if we did not already know it, in the onslaught of the Obama socialist administration, NEWSWEEK Magazine stated last week that we are now a socialist country.  Socialism does not come all at once.  The segment of our society that is now socialized is that of healthcare.  45% of every tax dollar is now spent on healthcare.  If the presidential administrators and the power brokers in the congress had been exposed to the care given veterans at the VA facilities, they would be more aware and afraid of such. ( I am a totally blind 100% disabled service connected veteran for over 40 years). If you want to see the treatment of the 26 million veterans of this nation who are entitled to VA care, you should visit a VA hospital and walk amid the phalanx of wheelchairs and the many waiting endlessly holding a number.  The veterans I know, do not complain about their care because they realize there are 126,000 of their fellow veterans buried on foreign soil in military cemeteries, to say nothing of thousands buried in this county, where the only care involved is mowing grass.

Under Obama’s plan, families who make less than $85,000 a year are entitled to such care.  The question has never been answered as to where the doctors and others will magically arrive from to care for all these patients.  I remember the first issue of “Medical Economics” when the profession had determined that medical care was a business. When I graduated, there were advertisements for operating room doctors with salaries of $10,000 to $12,000 a year. Doctors, nurses, highly specialized technicians today, get very high salaries.  Countries where socialism has taken over, have a continued loss of healthcare personnel because after the long years of expensive, strenuous education it takes to get a license in any professional health field.  Most expect to make a better than average living. Castro’s Cuba graduates many physicians each year, an estimated 2,000 overflow. This is the reason Cuba always sends doctors and other specialized healthcare workers to places of disaster throughout the world. But you never hear of any exciting discoveries made in Cuba, nor do you find sick patients from the rest of the world going to Cuba for treatment.

Dr. Merrill Matthews, a specialist in medical economics, has said , “ the quality of healthcare goes out the window with the single payer plan.”

Socialized healthcare will have the same empathy as the IRS, just faceless, heartless people getting paid a livable wage for doing a job. I attended one of the first seminars at Duke University pertaining to Medicare when it was introduced. I remember asking the speaker from New York University, Dr. Alden Haffner, (I was the only one with guts enough to ask about this matter), “what will happen when the government decides to cut the fees for services, as they have done constantly.” The others at the conference, were just thinking of those government checks that were going to pour in for this socialized care, without them having to go through the process of collections. Many doctors have left the profession because of the uncertainty of the socialized system. The paperwork involved and worst of all the scrutiny and slavery involved.

We are all aware of the incompetence of assembly line care, the little rooms where you wait while the doctor runs from room to room, confused and constrained by expensive facilities and help. Most offices in recent years have been full of white haired seniors there because the bill was being paid by the government. Home remedies went out the door when it became cheap to get professional care at the government's expense.

When I was young, you went to a doctor or a doctor came to your house only in the matter of life and death, home remedies worked real well. Over many centuries remedies had been developed and remembered by our ancestors. I do wish I had kept records of the knowledge of one uncle who knew certain plants and roots from which teas and plasters could be made that were as effective as most modern treatment.

In the socialized system which is now in effect, your care will be determined by a team of bureaucrats about 15 in number who will make the decision about your care and give instruction to the doctor, hospital, nursing home, etc.  In a nation that has had no problem electing the most pro-abortion politician in history.  If the most innocent of life can be slaughtered before or shortly after birth, certainly the thinking person can predict that the vast number of elderly patients filling nursing homes and specialized care facilities, will be put to death (85% of all healthcare dollars are spent in the last years of elderly patient's lives, the oldest group of Americans are those over 85 years of age). Euthanasia has become a fact of life in some countries of the world, particularly Holland.

Recently, a man who works for me carried his father, who is about my age, to a local hospital emergency room because he was not feeling well. They said Mr. Rush, leave him in the hospital overnight and we will do some tests tomorrow. When he went back the next morning, they apologized that his father had died during the night.

We do not hear of these tragedies very often because, sad to say, most families are just ready for the old, sick and disabled to get out of their way anyhow.  Families accept the death of a disabled or old person with great tolerance because the involvement of lawyers and autopsies is more of a burden than the deceased.  They just go home and wait for the neighbors to bring the potato salad and fried chicken. And , in most cases now, make minimal final services.

Life has become very cheap and with the increase of health care 2.3% each year concern has become a lost word in our vocabulary. It takes all our tax dollars to finance social security, medicare and medicaid, all other dollars to finance wars, grants, highways, airports, entitlements of military and bureaucrats must be borrowed. FICA now claims 15% of your paycheck, it will be increased to 30%. Just to keep the Chinese Mafia, debt collectors from the door, taxes must be raised, and services must be cut. Everything pertaining to economic “artificial respiration” has been a failure.

Topsy Turvy

Americans who think they are so in love with the idea of socialism and communism have never seen raw communism, what it does to a country, what it does to people. I traveled through the USSR three times while it was textbook communist. I have traveled through mainland China three times, still a textbook communist country. One cannot even imagine what this system of government does to the human mind. The three largest employers in the world, the Chinese Army, the train travel service of India and the British health care system. All socialized, all using enslaved people. When you go to a health facility in England, you realize the disparity in “health care”, or a better word, “disease care”. (In all of the rhetoric in Washington, I have heard little about preventative care. The healthiest people are those who stay away from doctors and hospitals. Who have learned about their own bodies, who have studied available literature about supplements and ways of maintaining their own health).

In communist Cuba, everything, including health care, is under the authoritarian control of the government. The Committee for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) in the totalitarian control keeps a careful watch on everything a Cuban citizen does. Every street, every road, in the entire country is patrolled. Every dwelling is under scrutiny, you lose all privacy, all freedom. As Dr. Franklin said long ago, “You sacrifice freedom for security and eventually you have neither”.

The signs of fascism, which proceeds communism, is as follows. The government first takes over all media. Who can doubt that we now have a government controlled media in this country. TV, radio, newspapers and to a great extent, slick magazines. If you do not want to get placed on President Obama's enemies list, such as Fox News, and many news reporters and commentators (Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, Alex Jones) you parrot at the directives of the White House. It is a sad commentary that newspapers, such as the New York Times, who has on it's front page, “All the News that's Fit to Print”, now dances to the tune, “Play by the Democrat Party”. Only liberal hogwash is printed in most newspapers. The local newspaper, in this town, is owned by the New York Times. I recently sent a letter to the editor, well written, within the parameters of their guidelines, about the ridiculous amount of money spent by the City Council on an excursion to Washington, DC. The members took their spouses, etc., and spent and spreed all over the Nation's capitol at taxpayer's expense. This at a time when the city is supposedly cutting back. The newspaper refused to print my comments. It should sicken most of you that all news is carefully diced and spiced to suit Mr. Obama and the democrats. It is necessary for me to use shortwave for reliable and credible news. When America's citizens have been sufficiently brainwashed by the media, by the public schools, by the public colleges and universities, the citizens are then ready for fascism.

Next in line is the take over of corporations and the banking and financial systems. The military is usually next on the list and we are seeing almost as many contractual civilian jobs at the battle front and other government agencies as those in uniform. It was significant that drug agents were killed this past weekend in military planes. We are told that there are special forces, military and civilian, operating all over the world. Recently Guinea Bissau and certainly in Somalia. A bewildering development in our present conflicts, both in Iraq and Afghanistan. The terrorist enemy being paid off by tax dollars to change sides. I said to Senator Jesse Helms, when he was chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, “The next time we go to war, let's just throw bundles of money at the enemy. It will be far cheaper, and just maybe, they will become as corrupt as our own public officials”. Evidently, someone believes what I said. This is the fascist system, “The end justifies the means”.

Anyone who doubts that fascism has accomplished it's purpose in America, check out your police department. Most are just schoolyard bullies who are now driving fast, expensive cars paid for by the taxpayer, who have about as much knowledge of the laws and empathy of justice as the crucibles of government tyranny permits. The oversight of police, the politics of elected money control. Only the wives and children of these officers with badges and weapons can tell you what they are really like. Yesterday, one with considerable seniority, plead guilty to the sexual abuse of a 4 year old child in the county in which I live. There was a time, sad to say, when the mother of a 4 year old little girl would feel safe in leaving her with a male law officer. But, there was a time when a 7 year old girl in Florida could walk safely from a school bus and, a 15 year old girl could go to a school dance without getting gang raped by about 10 of her peers while another 10 watched.

Fascism has excised from the schools, from the churches, from the decency of human beings, everything that the defenders of a democratic republic holds vital and dear.

Anytime you see “National” or “Federal” in government, you know that those who are paying the bills have surrendered: NIH, NASA, Federal Reserve, FCC, FTC, FDA, FAA, etc. Only those who are willing to “toe the line”, who offer no objections, who support the party, will stay at the trough.

In October 1942, Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy gave a memorable show before marines at Quantico, VA. How refreshing it is to hear the sound of male laughter in this recording. Bergen and McCarthy were appearing before real men. Frances Langford, the shapely blond, who was a regular on the show said she had filled out her form to get a new job. The laughter was sincere and manly. I recently attended the funeral of a pastor of 75 years. He died at age 95. Many male pastors were there. When the congregation sang his favorite hymn we expected to hear deep, bass, voices. It was like a woman's chorus. To clean up the fascism from America, it is going to take real, red-blooded men who still love their wives, children and country, who set the example in their community for security and decency. The time for political correctness is over. The gays and the gadflies came out of the closet and now march up and down the streets with “pride”. There is no longer any shame in perversion, prostitution or unwed pregnancy. Due to the slop (liquid garbage) on television, online and on every street in America, our most precious wealth, our children and elderly, are confused and condemned by actions of todays adults. With brooms and mops, pitchforks and carbines, it is time to clean up the home front before our young men and women in uniform are endangered to our war battle front.
