White House Press Secretary Jay Carney announced this afternoon that President Obama will unveil a "concrete package" of gun control proposals including assault weapons bans, high capacity ammunition magazine bans, and closing loopholes on background checks.

Carney said that the president will be joined by Vice President Joe Biden as well as children who wrote to the president after the Newtown shootings.

"They will be joined by children around the country expressing their concerns about gun violence and school safety, along with their parents," Carney confirmed.

President Obama specifically mentioned children during his December speech in response to the shooting.

"Can we say that we’re truly doing enough to give all the children of this country the chance they deserve to live out their lives in happiness and with purpose?" he asked. "I’ve been reflecting on this the last few days, and if we’re honest with ourselves, the answer is no.  We’re not doing enough.  And we will have to change."

The press conference will take place Wednesday at 11:45 a.m.

            Through the wasteland of television, have we become so dumbed down that we no longer recognize hypocrisy and deceit?  The first university I attended in a large city (Memphis TN), I was amazed to see bars over the lower windows, homes in the wealthy sections of the city. In every large city of the world, NYC-London-Paris, taking an early morning walk, could hear the bars over store fronts being raised. People have known for a long time that robbery-thievery is a fact of life. The eighth commandment, "Thou shall not steal." From the first two persons born in the world, two brothers, one killed the other. Murder has always been with us. Sixth commandment, "Thou shall not murder." Even Jesus cautioned and he "that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one" (Luke 22:36).
            In the height of the most viscous rule the world has ever known, Roman occupation tyranny. On the nexus day in world history, pivotal point of all history, betrayal and crucifixion of Jesus, the apostle Peter used his sword to cut off Malchus, servants, ear. (John 18:10) Peter must have been a good swordsmen as well as fisherman to cut the ear off without cutting the throat. (It has always amazed this writer that liberal politicians-atheist theologians can not see the unholy deceitfulness between Godless communist rulers and Godless religious hypocrites.)
            The tragedy at Sandy Hook is gaunt with unanswered, unbelievable questions. When you study the differing versions of events you can not comprehend the fallacies in law enforcement- journalist reporting.  There must have been a complete absence of common sense at that school. But, with all the unanswered questions involving JFK-RFK-MLK assassinations, the unbelievable senseless accounts of the Oklahoma city bombing, inconceivable events of 911, why should the average American give up their second amendment rights for defending their families, their property and themselves just because the government lies about everything? The greatest hypocrisy in the world, secret service armed guards for the President's children, armed guards for government leaders, armed guards for members of the media, entertainment industries, the peasants-serfs of this nation must defend for themselves with WHATEVER. I want to ask this imposter-Marxist-communist President how he expects an old, totally blind, living alone, veteran to defend himself? The VA provides no security whatsoever for disabled veterans. The greatest horror for a blind person, break in, fire.
            In recent years, as is the case with people who put their emotions ahead of their common sense in a time of media propelled concerns, a nearby Methodist preacher attempted to extricate guns in the city by offering a $5 bounty for each one turned in. He did not last long in this city. Even a mental cripple could ascertain that criminals are going to keep their guns, that criminals are real happy God fearing tax paying-working citizens to give up theirs and the more gun free zones you have, the less risk they will have in doing their robbing-plundering. It is the same type social liberal religionist who chose Barabbas freed (John 18:40) (he was again out robbing on the streets as our blessed Lord hung on the cross) and who hung our savior on that cruel cross. (Acts 3:15)
            Most Americans have no idea what it is like to live in a country where only criminals and police have weapons-guns. It is easy to enslave the defenseless.
            In one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Dubrovnik Yugoslavia, I was talking with a very intelligent young professor during the absolute rein of communist dictator Tito. I said, "I can't understand such a magnificent country of such beauty, intelligent people, how you fell into the slave pit of communism." He said, "So protracted, it happened before we knew it, psychological softening to obedience, the despising of religion, total entrapment of academicians-teachers and then the loss of weapons so there was no way to repel aggression of any type, criminal or government."
