The world is totally fascinated by science, particularly astronomy, more so since capsules and rockets went into space. It started in my lifetime, Hitler wanted a rocket that would travel 200 miles so he could bombard England. My famed Math professor, Dr. Alfred Braur taught rocket projection to the Nazis and then came to America after WWII along with those at the Red Stone arsenal, Alabama. I have written at length about the Nazis who staffed the Army hospital where I was on staff near there.

Recently, we discovered new black holes in the universe 300 million light years away from earth, each at least three times the circumference of the sun, each so black that no light permeates.

Only 1% of the earth's population are absolute atheists... not believing in something greater than themselves, of course, false religions, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, etc. but, basic Christianity (Isaiah 14) Lucifer, son of the morning star, good becoming evil, as kicked out of heaven to earth by God. Man, born evil able to become good through God. The atheist, gazing through telescopes at the universe. The universe dark and without form until God spoke and created light. (Genesis 1:3) From NOTHINGNESS, SOMETHINGNESS, basic Christianity.

Don't spend your time arguing with unbelievers concerning God's Word. It is as useless as spending your time arguing with a liberal... a democrat... an Obama abomination.

The small percent who are atheists or liberals are so fearless that they determine the agenda. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. (Galatians 5:9) Real Christians are intimidated, cowards of the faith.

God has chosen those committed to Him, the vast majority of the others, tares, just hitchhikers-pretenders. Most, He did not choose. He chose in Christ, those who would follow Christ. It is going to be interesting, show & tell, when some learn that God did not take a glance at their works or righteousness. It will be revealing that some just went through the motions thinking they were fooling God. Like the children of Israel in the desert, they always had God on trial. God is not on trial, God does not care what you believe or think, HE IS BOSS, demands trust.

It will be revealing to some that death bed repentance, real sorrow for sin, last minute servitude such as those hired last in the vineyard (Matthew 20:16), or, the thief on the cross, chosen... evil to good. Christian basic, more powerful than travel through space, the power of God to redeem the lost. Man's greatest gift, free will. God gives man the opportunity to misuse his liberty-freedom... and most want what the world, the flesh, the devil offers. The only time we have a record of Jesus singing, when He left the communion supper, in the upper room, to be dragged on dirty streets, beaten and crucified.

At this advent season, you can forget the rituals of advent... lighting candles, etc., unless you know the discipleship involves following, loving as God loves, giving because of need. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. (Matthew 10:14)

One can go in any home and readily determine if it is a Christian home. Other than at

Christmas - tree, lights, Christian carols, should we know who is honored in your home? Many people spend tremendous amounts decorating, some lighting up the entire community... house, figures on lawns, lights on outside trees, etc., not beginning to give the amount of money they spend for electricity to send the light of God's World around the world. The Jesus of the Christian heart, the Christian church has always come with a price tag. You often must give up the spending, splurging, dazzled family members, associates, neighbors and even friends who do not know the meaning of Christmas.

Christmas means divine gift... God gave His son, and His son gives life. Advent means looking forward. The shepherds, lowest on the economic ladder... could not even go to the temple, give testimony in court, thrilled by the millions of the heavenly hosts singing. Rich Kings from the far east, traveling with perhaps thousands of guards, God preceding them with a star. One solitary figure who, while in the womb, from his mother, gave joy to another great man in history, John the Baptist, still in his mother's womb (Mary and Elizabeth) Luke 1:41))

God, putting on a tent of human flesh, one solitary figure, dwelling among us, perfect. He spoke and the universe was formed (John 1) In the fullness of time, every date in history set according to His birth. Through His grace by faith, at this season and every season, the only hope of the world
