This is what it has come to

Congressional Reform Act of 2011

1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security..
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do..

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in

the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12.
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Maybe it is time.

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!

Addition Dr. Morris:

Representative Graham Barden, 3rd District, North Carolina, although my grandparents were republican and he a democrat they were friends. Some of his ancestors were buried in the same cemetery with my ancestors. My grandfather told me, that Representative Barden (compensated $10,000 per year) told him there is more crookedness in Washington than Mafia activity in NYC.

My grandfather talked about this while his only son served in combat in the South Pacific in WWII. This writer is the oldest grandson, totally blind, 100% disabled and a medical officer veteran of the Korean War. For these fifty-some years I have stumbled around as a blind person, radios on throughout the house to give me direction, hearing the constant rhetoric about debt and crookedness in government. I think, often through tears, was it really worthwhile. In 1800 congressmen were paid $6.00 per day. Today, above the table, they make $154,000 per year. We know they spend millions to get elected so that they are “fixed” for life. As an example, representative Billy Tauzin, democrat, defeated, now paid $2.5 million per year as a Big Pharma lobbyist. As of June, 2011 there were 12,553 federal lobbyists registered in Washington.

Some military returning from WWII went to school on the GI Bill. Those returning 100% disabled do not get as much pension as the payment given a university ROTC student. Of course, those of us who have worn the uniform did not do so for any money involved. God, family, country were not empty words to us. Did it shame congress, any democrat, the list of the most corrupt politicians in Washington.

Ten Most Corrupt Politicians in Washington

Senator Barbara Boxer D-CA
Rahm Emanuel
Senator John Ensign R-NV
Rep. Barney Frank D-MA
Rep. Jessie Jackson, Jr. D-IL
President Barack Obama
Rep. Nancy Pelosi D-CA
Rep. Charles Rangel D-NY
Rep. Hal Rogers R-KY
Rep. Maxine Waters D-CA

Today there are 204 federal sources for student grants. When this writer was in college (8 years) preparing for a profession, he got not one dime of government assistance. Yet, to serve it took endless investigations, board certification... Compare this with a President that produces nothing – transcripts and even a forged birth certificate. This vulture has enabled decadence in government. The 126 thousand buried on foreign soil, the thousands buried here, and those disabled are embarrassed by this government. This is what it has come to.
