Thriving or Surviving

My only child, my son, doctor John Morris and his family were for many years on the foreign mission field. He said, that new converts, so much faith in God, the Power of God, that in case of sickness, before a doctor was found, they took time to pray over the one who was ill, sought first the Great Physician.

The cross is the pivotal point in all history. It should be evident to everyone that Christians have drifted from the Cross.

One of my friends, an outstanding musician would be asked to substitute for the minister of music when he was on vacation from the Episcopal Church. The pastor would tell him, “ we don’t want to hear anything about blood or the cross.” This tells you how far this denomination has drifted from the cross and the saving, redeemer, precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Even in the Baptist Church you no longer hear the name of Jesus and no longer see a Cross.

One of my friends died recently, former president of a Christian College, a program sent to me tells the pomp and drama of his funeral. I told someone, I hope the democrat party will save him because he saws more interested in politics than Christianity.

It is the unexpecteds of life which cause our problems.. the unexpecteds of the stock market, the unexpected tragedies which happen so quickly in life. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7)

Does our faith stand the test, when the house burns down?

Does our faith stand the test at the hospital during death? We spend thousands of dollars at the hospital, do we stand on the solid rock during sickness and death?

Does our faith stand the test when others prosper and we do not?

Does our faith stand the test when we have a child who will never be be well, who will always be disabled, while other children flourish?

Does our faith stand the test when we see others using illicit drugs, alcohol and we do everything possible to protect our health?

Have you come to terms with the Sovereignty of God, that He is Boss, He expects our trust? “I am the Lord there is no one else like me” (Isaiah 45:5)

“Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Does your work say, ‘The potter has no hands’? (Isaiah 45:9)

Everyone should watch a potter at work. I so well remember watching a potter and clay in Africa. The clay never talks back to the potter, the potter is in charge. He never takes his eyes off the wheel. Praise be to God, even in His mind, in the council chambers of eternity He began to mold and plan us. (Psalm 139:13):(Psalm 127:3)

I have traveled the world, every continent, mothers nurturing babies of every color under all sociological conditions. The children of the world are God's chief creation AND they grow into adults. In America, more so then anyplace in the world., would you feed your million dollar race horse the same food you would feed your precious child... so lacking in nutrition, so infested with toxins, chemicals, synthetics. The two greatest evils in America, abortion and same sex marriage. Next to these social, Antichrist evils the physical and spiritual neglect of children. Get them out of public schools at least until the public schools can be cleansed to the Godless totalitarianism and the communism which has so easily seized this nation. The biggest lie in history, the lie bought hook, line, and sinker by the politicians, preachers, educators, things will change. They have not changed except for the worse. More degrees, less common sense. Making a living, not a life. More medicine, less health. More churches, less Christianity.
