Defiance

Blind Ray Charles, singing, playing the piano demanded perfection in his performance. Every note, every word, perfect. Perhaps he is best known for his famous rendition, Rainy Night in Georgia. One line said, “Lord, I believe it is raining all over the world” Weather predictors, all over the world, are baffled. Ancient sailors, who depended so much on weather signals would be ship-wrecked. A few buffoons, trying to capitalize on such idiocy as global warming but most weather, climate experts are just “confused”.

When the luxury liner, “Concordia” wrecked on rock and almost capsized near Italy, the ship's address system was playing the theme song from the movie Titanic. The Concordia, larger than the Titanic means “Union”. Each deck was named for a European country and we all know the shipwreck of the European Union.

President George Washigton in his first inaugural address said, “so His divine blessing may be equally conspicuous in the enlarged views, the temperate consultations, and the wise measures on which the success of this Government must depend.”

The greatest mystery of my life, a totally blind, 100% disabled, service connected, medical officer, veteran of the Korean conflict, bemused-why people of the world, particularly believers in God are so defiant. God's Book gives us every answer, every problem. I was told recently of a university classroom, students nor the professor could list the ten commandments. Most High School students know nothing of America’s history. Only one of every three Christians are registered to vote. If the Catholic church is right about anything, and it is Christian about most things, their stance in the abortion, pro-life Battle against liberals... Obama and his ilk. Yet, Catholics voted 54% for Obama. Baptists, particularly black baptist voted 75% for Obama, THE most anti--life, anti-free enterprise, anti-Israel president in history.

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:9)

The thread of power, perfect knowledge through Jesus Christ, extends through God's Book. Why are we so defiant to “trust and obey”? God does not ask us to abandon life, rather that we have an abundant life (John 10:10) God does not require that you spend your life on your knees at church nor does He want all your wealth. He has established parameters... the tithe is the Lord's whether you give it or not. The old Swiss bank Wegelin, survived both Napoleon and Hitler, but not Obama and his IRS tentacles. The IRS has jurisdiction over your money in the bank. The FDA has jurisdiction over your body because you are considered a drug. Governments, around the world, churches are in turmoil.

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. (Isaiah 45:18)

God is “BOSS”. He demands trust. Humans have tried, scientists have tried, none have found Him wrong in telling us how to live, eat, treat one another.

“And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.” (Genesis 1:29)

With the grass, seed, trees, elements on the earth, the world has been fed. Now, bio tech international Monsanto-Obama and their ilk, adding insult to injury “Monsanto's Agent Orange killed and disabled millions during the Vietnam War.” Now arrive at Vietnam with their GMO seeds, which have already poisoned honey bees, insects, animals, human beings, all over the world. If you think defying God's provisions for you, try feeding GMO and MSG foods to your pets and see how long they will live, Frankenstein food.

God knows where to find His man, Abraham in the Chaldees, Moses in the desert, Paul on the road to Damascus, Gideon threshing wheat. (Judges 6:11) God can get along without us. Could have proceeded without them. They were fearful, 90% of faith is raw courage. Like these, every person yielded to God, overcomes fear. God knows that the one He chooses will put Him first, will choose God instead of self.

Elisha was plowing oxen when Elijah's mantle fell on him. (2 Kings) Elisha left the field, his family, worked with Elijah eleven years... after Elijah’s departure, more miracles from Elisha than Elijah.

God is selecting those for His Kingdom who will put Him first. Why do we continue to defy God at the statehouse, schoolhouse, courthouse, even the church house? Even unbelievers should know that the world is in such a mess that only the Creator of the universe can save it. Unbelievers must be amazed that those who believe in, depend on God are so defiant.
