April Fool's Day

Between the countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan, near the Khyber pass (I have been there twice) is a land called “no man's land”. The thing I remember most about this part of the world, the Khyber rifles are made there, by hand. I remember too well, the look, the eyes of the men who were working on these rifles, the hatred in their countenance. I am sure little has changed in this part of the world since Rudyard Kipling, the English writer, wrote about it in his books.

Nothing is as bad on earth, as halfway living, a no man's land, living in that nomenclature between belief and non-belief. I believe, from all who have been there, that it is a system of constant attack, Satan's intimidation, pretending to be a Christian, pretending to be a patriot. You have not begun your walk of faith, political or spiritual, until you become submissive, committed.

I do not sit in judgment of anyone, I am not worthy of that. But, I do not believe most of my fellow human beings question my patriotism or my Christianity. I am a totally blind, 100% disabled, service-connected medical officer veteran of the Korean era. I live every day of my life in complete submission to God, living and giving. The apostle Paul said, “I bear in my body, the marks of the Lord Jesus.” (Galatians 6:17) He had earned the right to question many things.

On this April Fool's Day, I question many things going on in the world. It seems that during my life, this democratic republic, where we live and give, has become a place of deception. We know now that there was much deceit about Pearl Harbor, problems with WWII. The assassination of General George Patton; the assassination of President John F. Kennedy; the killing of women and children at Waco, Texas; the killing of people at Ruby Ridge; the unbelievable killings at Oklahoma City which make no sense at all; the killings in New York City (9/11) which make no sense at all; and now, the killings at Phoenix, Arizona, including a Federal judge, which makes no sense at all. Like the Gulf of Tonkin lie, like the lies involving Libya, Egypt, are we fools enough, on April 1^st or any other time, to believe just anything put out by the state-controlled media?

God is talking to us, but we simply do not want to hear what He has to say. The earthquake and tsunami off the coast of Japan, the meltdown of nuclear reactors, radiation crossing the world, is His last great attempt. Radiation is an accumulative problem, cows eating grass that has been radiated may not show up in the milk for a while. One day soon, we will have news that we should stay in the house for at least eight days, and have enough food to supply us during that time. The Japanese, who depend so much on seafood, even whales, have a real problem with the polluted Pacific, and so do we along with the polluted Gulf of Mexico.

The war in Libya, humanitarian? Who are we kidding? Through the use of depleted uranium on shells, we have polluted Iraq and Afghanistan, think of the women and children there, in these places (67 million children not in school because of conflicts in which America is involved, and we expect them to love us), who have no idea about warfare, their entire lives have been a matter of survival, and there is no surviving against Uranium poisoning. Once radiation is out, it can never be reclaimed, there is no remediation. This week, hoax or otherwise, news was out that Al Queda had planted suitcase bombs throughout America. This type nightmare could happen, are you prepared?

The world hopes to get out of its mess by clawing out...we have CIA operatives in all the countries where demonstrators and protestors are clawing at one another (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya). The Christian has the precious promises of God, living in obedience. We might not attain in this life, but we will attain in the life to come, every pleasure promised here. To those who do not live in the land of halfway, those of us totally committed, life is eternal. From the council chambers of eternity, we were chosen for a short sojourn here, strangers, pilgrims, foreigners. (1 Peter 2:11) We were just ambassadors here, our citizenship is in heaven. You can always tell a foreigner, he acts different, talks different, dresses different, eats and drinks different, has complete loyalty to his ruler or government. God just expects trust from those who are His. Eternity awaits, this life is like one grain of sand on the seashore.

For Americans, the time has come for people to not act like fools, on April 1^st or any other time, particularly on April 15th. It is time for Christians to stop serving in a Godless military, Chaplains unable to use Christ's name in praying, “don't ask, don't tell”, etc. Every voting ballot should have these words at the beginning: “do you trust the US government?” Everyone who marks “yes”, their vote should be disallowed, they do not know what is going on. They want to make believe that everything is fine, April 1^st and beyond.

Have we become lepers? The leper cannot use a hammer because he cannot tell when he has hit his hand, cannot get around a stove because he cannot tell when he has been burned. On this April Fool's Day, I want you to try this scientific experiment: open a clove of garlic, rub it on your toe, see how many minutes it takes for someone to smell garlic in your hair. Poisons and toxins travel very fast in the body, God's chief creation. The toxicity, the poison of deception has taken over most organisms, biological, spiritual and political.

Web of Deception

Aging radio and television talk show host Larry King (77), recently interviewed Catholic Priest Michael Manning. In the interview, King (Jewish), asked Father Manning if he believed it is necessary to believe in Jesus Christ to go to heaven. As is the case with so many liberal spiritual imposters, he gave the universal restoration answer, “I have known many religious Rabbis, Buddhists, Hindus, who I believe will go to heaven.” Of course, this is God's business, all I can go by is the New Testament scripture which specifies that only the born-again believers in Jesus Christ will go to heaven: the way, the truth, the life (John 14:6).

My thought processes my entire life have been besieged with thoughts of Christian martyrs, the committed lives of Mennonites, Amish, Quakers, Catholic nuns and priests in their habits, and other saints of the Christian faith with whom I have been acquainted. It is beyond all comprehension that any human being capable of reading and understand God's Word, cannot become a believer in Jesus Christ. George Foreman, two-time world heavyweight boxing champion said, “when I became a Christian, I felt I had been raised from the dead.”

Recently, I heard Dr. Chauncey Crandall, a physician, supervising cardiologist at the Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic in Palm Beach, Florida, talk about his book Raising the Dead. He has lectured all around the world about the incident. Jeff Markin, auto-mechanic, in spite of their best efforts, died in the hospital emergency room. Dr. Crandall had been called in to see that everything possible had been done to keep this man alive, and was filling out the final report as the nurse was preparing the body for the morgue. As he left the room, God told him to go back and try once more to resuscitate this man. He went back and told the nurse to try to resuscitate this man again. Bewildered, the nurse said, “doctor, he is dead.” But to satisfy the doctor, the nurse began the resuscitation electronic procedure again, it had been forty-five minutes, and the patient came back to life. Today, the patient is alive, working in a local church, having been lead to Christ by Dr. Crandall. He went in to the blackness of hell, as one discarded, without hope.

Near death experiences, peeking into both heaven and hell have been experienced by many. With every Christian, you cannot give what you have, only what you are. We all have different versions of ourselves, understand the importance of putting forth the best version of yourself, demonstrating the importance of your life. Judas was chosen just as were the other 11, he saw the miracles, raising of the dead, healing of the sick, feeding of thousands. His feet were washed by our Blessed Lord, as were the others, yet for a bag of silver, he betrayed his Savior. Compare Judas and Peter, Judas went out and killed himself. Peter, warming himself at the enemy's fire, denied his Savior. He came back, repenting, became the “rock” of the church. An example for frail human beings everywhere. As an old man, he wrote that our faith is more precious than gold (1 Peter 1:7)

Why does it surprise us that evil men are caught in a web of deception, easily beguiled by Satan, loving selfish ambition. Filthy lucre, power-madness, more than anything else with which the human mind can be trapped, deceived. Colonel Kadafi, tyrannical, Islamic ruler for 40 years, now killing his people in the streets with his own military helicopters. The cheapness of life, not just with Muslims (Iraq, Iran, Egypt, etc.), Americans killing 3,352 babies every day through abortion. In order to become President, Lyndon Johnson involved in the assassination of President John Kennedy.

Since WWII, warfare has so cheapened lives, beneath the sand in the Middle East and North Africa, lives lost for the black gold (oil) which lies beneath the sand. Read your history, 100 years ago, the tyrants of the world, the power-brokers of the world, saw the increased value of oil. Russia's Stalin took over many of the oil fields. The money-kings of the world set up Hitler to straighten out Stalin. Along came WWII, with the mess of England, Japan, and America. Really, it has never ended, the power grab for oil, it is going on this very day.

2000 years ago, the madness for money, evident even in the life of Christ. The Sanhedrin, the Jewish Rabbis, were probably being paid off by the moneychangers in the temple. Jesus put on a tent of human flesh to dwell among us and show the decent way human beings should live. His own, killed Him on a cruel cross, and He said there, the eternal truth, “they do not know what they are doing.” He had told us to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:39).

Prisons are full of people; church house, school house, court house, even the White House are full of people who like to live in luxury off the hard work of others. In a marvelous land of opportunity, vacation time, retirement time has become more important than supplication time. An Islamic cleric said recently that the Islamic flag would eventually fly over the White House. Most Americans are concerned with retirement time being longer and more rewarding than their work time. Most government retirees, draw as much money in government retirement as they ever did in working for the government.

If only mortal man could understand his capability, his calling. Charles Lindbergh was brave enough to fly the Atlantic alone, on a small plane, and land in Paris in 1927. The man responsible for kidnapping Lindbergh and his wife Anne Morrow's only child, was brave enough to climb into his second story window, steal and kill their precious child. Many of us have been brave enough to fly over the great cities of the world, to see the ability of man, the domes of Rome, the neon frescoes of Hong Kong, the spherical minarets of Istanbul. When will we learn the Creator of life, even the life of man, instilled in him to be the benefactor of good, or yield to the deceptive web of evil.

Rejection and Opposition

It is a very long historic story, much of it found in the Bible, but Cyrus, conqueror and ruler of the world's great Persian empire, after he captured Babylon where 650,000 Jews were in their Babylonian captivity, allowed 50,000 Jews to return to Jerusalem to rebuild their temple, around 515 BC. Cyrus was killed in 530 BC at the Syr Darya, with the ambition of capturing Egypt. It took the 50,000 Jews along with their cattle and families four months to cross the desert and return to Jerusalem, where ancient Solomon's temple, magnificent beyond compare, was in ruins.

It is only someone who has a vision, who had been through what these people had experienced, who could make offerings, worship, work in the hot sun, building with rocks, and at times, after finishing a project could celebrate with so many tears that onlookers could not tell if they were laughing or crying. They did not care, God's chosen, about rejection or opposition. After the foundation was finished, they celebrated, but infiltrators had entered their ranks and caused discouragement. Doubts were thrown their way about ever building something equivalent to the Solomon glory. They could not foresee that even the Messiah would teach in that building. For 15 years, they laid down their tools and weapons because of losing the vision, and did nothing. Much of this story can be found in the book of Ezra.

The shock therapy of life: after every victory, the test comes. It was because of a very old prophet Haggai, that their spirit returned. But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them. O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. (Psalm [of Haggai] 115:3-9) It was this old man, nearly 100 years old, who gave the necessary encouragement to build the temple in which Jesus and his disciples would worship against all opposition and rejection.

Many must wait for someone to tell them to go to work, it is a lazy son who sleeps late during harvest time (Proverbs 10:5) I can still remember how early we went to work on the farm during harvest time. Slothfulness has ruined many families and has now ruined a nation, hard times are prevented by learning early in life that your ways cannot be determined by opposition and rejection. If I had quit selling, door to door, every time I had a rejection, I would never had sold very many books, would never had finished and financed my eight years of university education.

One of my friends, Dr. C.L Lewis who became a prominent healthcare practitioner and Christian laymen, worked as I did on the book sales field every summer. He said, “I want my son to do the very same, because it will teach him more about rejection and overcoming everything than anything else I know. Prosperity, success in life, usually involves selling something. I know of no one who has made very much money without selling something: self, real estate, insurance, securities, etc. Job security, vacation time, entitlements, comfort at work lies in tightening a screw, same way, same time, day-in day-out on some assembly line of life. Success (business, political, professional) comes in the knockdown, drag-out of facing opposition and rejection.

The most difficult job I know is in telemarketing, one girl who worked for me as a secretary had such a job, one telephone call after another to people who were just a voice on the line, trying to convince them to buy something they did not want. You should hear her describe the number of hang-ups, cursing, insults, it would be easy to become bitter with such a job. When faced with such opposition, rejection, we'd better understand the love and blessings of all mighty God.

It is because we just go along to get along, do not stand up against tyranny anymore. We have decided that opposition and rejection are not politically correct, are afraid we might embarrass family or friends. We have allowed a nanny state to take over, government in total economic dominance, even to all energy consumption, water usage, control of your life through licenses and permits. It is only with a false flag of government deceit and lying, that the American public can be excited anymore. Oklahoma City bombing, which we know was a lie, or the Gulf of Tonkin, sinking of the Battleship Maine in Havana harbor, throwing babies out of incubators in Kuwait, all these things we know were government lies, creating patriotism by the cruelest form of rejection, deception. Only a terror attack can save Obama...such has been concocted before. Russia is stronger now, both economically and militarily, than any time during the cold war when America made Russia our enemy...add all the deaths of Hitler, Mao, and other tyrants, they will not equal the deaths caused by Stalin, who during WW2 was made our friend and ally by our government.

Seeing and Believing

Everyday of my life, and I believe if you are honest everyday of your life, you will say “I just don't understand how people can be so wrong.”

Exactly 37 years ago, the Supreme Court of the United States, more or less, approved murder for the most innocent of human life. This is the famed Roe v. Wade decision whereby over 50 million babies have been aborted in the holocaust of death which has gripped this country in absolute unbelief. No one with a clear mind, can understand how any mother, any doctor, any clinic, could go into the safest place on earth, the womb of a mother, and destroy God's greatest creation. At 30 days the baby is about the size of a grain of rice, at 180 days you can definitely see the little fingers and little toes, at 9 months the baby is fully developed, ready for birth, in most cases weighing from 5-8 pounds...ready for life, ready to bring happiness to the family, the joy of living to this new citizen of the world. How terrible it is to see the abortionists tear up this baby with forceps. Little hands, little feet, little body parts, many times to be used in experimentation, presumably trying to save the life of adults. Who can understand this? Who can understand that a president, a congress, a political party (Democrats), could support such a horrendous action? Who can understand that in the partial birth abortion procedure, forceps are stuck into the cranial cavity, the brain sucked out just before the head is removed from the mother, while the little legs and hands are moving? And we think that God will not hold this nation responsible for this hellish event. I tell you, on the authority of God's word, God who made heaven and earth and everything in it, that this country, and certainly this political party and those who are members of the Democrat party (some Democrats actually call themselves Christians), will not escape. We do not understand why Herod the Great killed all the male boys two years of age and under while trying to kill the Christ child. We do not understand how Joseph Stalin, a former seminary student, killed 26 million of his fellow Russians in his rise to Communist power. We do not understand how Adolf Hitler, a former Catholic altar boy, killed 6 million Jews in the death camps of WWII on his rise to power. We do not understand how Mao, who went to a Christian Normal school, killed an estimated 50 million Chinese coolies on his way to power.
From Cane killing Abel, the first two children in the world, we have never understand man's inhumanity to man.

Christ combined all the commandments, all the laws for living in this world, into two. Most find it easy to serve God who gives us everything, but it is hard to love our neighbor as ourselves (Mat 22:39).

There are some people, neighbors, family members, etc., which most of us have much trouble LIKING, but we should love everyone...certainly children and the most innocent children, the unborn.

On the walls of my den, for many years before all were sold online, I owned one of the world's largest collections of masks. Whether from the oldest civilizations, the Dogons, or the people of New Guinea, humanity has worn masks to hide their true appearance. Life is difficult enough for the blind, but not being able to see facial expressions, body language, or even non-human items or things, such as, actually a new automobile, is a matter of great concern and a reason why we are so easily fooled.

In the old cowboy movies (bad guys in black hats), the comic books, Darth Vader, all crooks were depicted as dark and evil. Costumes and camouflage have always hidden evil. In the Garden of Eden, the serpent is portrayed as evil.

Animals have pedigrees or bloodlines, art treasures have signatures and brush strokes (even then some art treasures are found to be fakes). I own one painting by a famed European artist that only an expert could possibly identify as a reproduction. So real, I went to the expense of finding where the real painting is displayed in a gallery in France. The real painting is worth millions, my reproduction (which only an expert with a magnifying glass would be able to determine) is worth a few thousand at most. This is the value of seeing and believing.

The genuine, highly paid athlete has a record of accomplishment.
The politician may make great promises but he has a record of his activity. Mr. Obama did not have a record of accomplishment and he received a Nobel Prize for doing nothing. But, the greatest fakery, the greatest snake oil salesman of all times, sold himself to enough uninitiated voters that he is now in the White House, slowly and surely destroying this country. A blind person's other senses are greatly enhanced. I have never seen this man but I could detect his fakery, his inconsistencies, his absolute wantonness in everything he said. Why could not you sighted, semi-intelligent people, sense the deception of this one man?

It is in religion, economics, business, if you pay close attention you can easily determine the belief intent, the passion, of what these people are selling or promoting. I can listen to any minister of the gospel for ten minutes and know, at least in my opinion, whether he believes in the gospel he preaches. The bed is too short, the blanket is too narrow, his real self always sticks out. There are many wolves in sheep's clothing (Mat 7:15). Don't confuse accomplishment with celebrity; think of Madonna and Helen Keller.

Most important, whether sighted or not, remember the inconsistencies of what someone has told you. Truth is always consistent, speech pattern is always consistent. The polygraph was discredited long ago. I have never known a con man I did not like. During this time of the Haiti earthquake catastrophe, the con people are out in force. Many organizations, many overpaid executives in these organizations, will get rich off this earthquake. In 2005, the president of the American Red Cross received a salary of $650,000. Look up the salaries of these “do-gooder”, charity, organizations...especially the United Way. It will sicken you to know that there are organizations, and organization hierarchy, who get rich off the misfortunes of needy people. Elizabeth Dole, champion of the little man, received twice as much money as the president of the United States. I will tell you this without fear of contradiction, as a field grade (field grade major and above) medical officer in army hospitals and as a patient in military and V.A. hospitals myself, I never saw the Red Cross do anything for anyone including myself. These highly paid charity groups (Red Cross, United Fund, Catholic Services, Salvation Army) are in business to serve themselves and their elitist officers. This you can write in stone, other than the U.S. Government, the greatest scam of the American experiment. Competitions and regulations will keep most businesses honest and peer review, and the human nature of decency, will keep most true professionals in line.

We were taught, as children, “Honesty is the best policy.” In today's world of “Get him before he gets you”, dishonesty is considered the only policy. Seeing is believing, use a three ply cord to help you, get advice from three other people (Ecc 4:12).

Goofy Beliefs

I have one of the largest collections of antiquarian books in the nation. We sell books every day, all over the world. For instance, I had over 250 Old Sears Catalogs. We have sold these wonderful books all over the world. They are the greatest source of history, art material for movies. Few are left in existence; and I had those from the very beginning of the Sears Empire. There was a time in the history of this country, when the Sears Catalog was the most wonderful book in the house, read much more than God's word. I wish you could see the 1898 Montgomery Ward catalog which I just sold. The women's corsets were on the same page as the horse harnesses.

I have over 17,000 premier (many first editions) comic books. I was never allowed to read a comic book as a child and certainly cannot do so now. It has never occurred to anyone yet, certainly not education psychologists, that 95% of all comic books are purchased by boys, and 95% of all prisoners are men. Is there any correlation? There were many strange names, ghosts, Goofy, Daffy, Mickey Mouse, and of course the super heroes. Today's young people have moved from comic books to video games.

I understand the meanest bullies in the police academies and in military special forces have been acclimated and activated by ruthless video games. We will pay a price for the seduction of young minds by satanic forces. It was not necessary for Bill Clinton and Janet Reno to go out of country to obtain the militarists who killed and burned alive the 85 women and children at Waco.

In a time when our forces are spattering women and children in Iraq and Afghanistan, in a time when 3000 babies are aborted each day, (1400 black babies), in a time when old folks are euthanized, in a time when men given life sentences for murder, rape and robbery, are let out of prison for good behavior we have announcements that pets will be blessed at St. John's Church. The same thing went on at the Duke University Chapel a few years ago as these bubbling liberals brought their lizards and gold fish along with their dogs and cats for blessing. It was such a mess of fighting and sniping that I understand it was discontinued.

In Togo, West Africa, after visiting a fetish market, (a place to buy bones, skulls, etc.), I witnessed a voodoo service of dancing and cutting. Later, at a Catholic cathedral, I told the priest that I saw many of his parishioners at a voodoo service. I could tell because of their colorful clothing. He said, “They mix up their religion.” In Guatemala, at one Catholic cathedral, I saw people with pigs, chickens, in their arms going into the cathedral for blessing. I said to the priest, “What is this with the animals?” He said, “We have a mixture of Catholicism and Santeria.” Perhaps this is the new White House religion. (Read my commentary, “Woe Mrs. Robinson”.)

We have cheapened and trivialized religion, especially Christianity. One can do any perverted thing anymore without repercussion. One can hold onto any type spiritual belief and religious practice, except Christianity. The relationship of you with Christ is subjected to more furor and criticism than anything else you can do in your life. Christ said, “If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.” (John 15:20, Luke 23:31).

Modern man has so sanitized death, that it has little effect on the human psyche, but remember God will not put up with your foolishness, your deception, disobedience. He orders you to obey. To obey is better than sacrifice. (I Sam. 15:22) The Bible is the law book. We are saved by grace through faith plus nothing. But you break God's laws at your own risk.

The same people, the black nationalist churches, the liberal white churches, all without exception have been hit by the love bug. All go to the church singing the Beatles song, “All You Need Is Love” or the Sinatra song, which he is still singing in hell, “I Did It My Way.” These same liberals wanting their pets to be blessed, are the very ones who promote the culture of death in which 1.4 million babies have been murdered each year in the abortion holocaust.

The love bomb, love of sin, love of the puppets and perverts, love of the unlovely, has tried to erase the fact that we were created by a God of justice. (Psalm 98:9). The projection and protection of the homosexual lifestyle is the epitome of the liberal church and liberal media. How any church goer can read the first chapter of Romans and then sit under the preaching of a gay pastor and condone a same sex marriage is beyond comprehension.

Euthanasia, abortion, same sex marriage, and homosexual pastors are an abomination to everything sacred in Christian belief. We saw with Hurricane Katrina, in capsule form the ending of the story of the great American republic. Prisoners were turned out of the jails to rob and rape. Old people in nursing homes were left on their beds to drown. Pretensions of the concern of patriots and Christians melted into the rip tides of deception.
