This writer could not tell you how many times he used the above verse when asked to pray in public places, even at the church house. In God's answer book, His manufacturer's handbook, everything tells us that good is upward, evil is downward among the many things with which we are daily choked, the bottomless ocean of information, addictions and heathen actions of our fellow man, cruelty of terrorism, in this post Christian world, what is there about me, and I am only responsible for me, that would attract people to Christianity, a saving knowledge of our Blessed Lord.

When we leave the church house on Sunday, do we actually take our faith into the workplace on Monday? Your government and society does not want you to do so. Prosperity is more than just making money. Barriers must be broken down in learning the best version of yourself and honoring Creator God. You are not stuck where you start. Everyday we learn of some individual, even in this post Christian world, who has honored the world with their lives. Read about Dr. Condoleeza Rice and her climb from the ghettos of Alabama. "But just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM." (1 Corinthians 2:9)

In the post Christian world of regulations and controls, where Satan has been very effective in brainwashing the minds of even our children (television, state controlled education), the adventure of the Christian life is not very popular. Who needs God when you have the government? To the Germans, one of the most advanced civilizations on Earth, Mr. Adolf Hitler said, “The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.” In other words, 'I already have your children'.

In the struggles of living, at least in America, where 50% of the population still works for a living, the average family is choked with survival. You pay high taxes but still must home school your own children. You pay your taxes but still must compete with government subsidized competition. You pay your taxes but are still choked by licenses-permits-threats. You pay your taxes but law enforcement seems to favor the criminal. We all remember the song "Choices":

I've had choices since the day that I was born

There were voices that told me right from wrong

If I had listened, no I wouldn't be here today

Living and dying with the choices I've made

Responsible living has become a necessary task which offends the world. Even the Christian wants a "bell-hop" God, just available when you need him. Giving to God and our fellow man is just an add-on not a necessity. We think God and our fellow man appreciates our tips, government makes sure that the ne'er-do-wells live well, takes care of all their needs (health, housing, college grants etc.) so they can spend their money on their wants. A person with character chokes on the excuses of counterfeits, Satan has always paid off with counterfeits. Today's world is choking-struggling with counterfeit education, food products, even spirituality.

One of my cousin's widow, he had died unexpectedly, and shortly after that their son was killed in an automobile crash, told me of the way her pastor would visit her always bringing their conversations around to sex. She became so disappointed-disgusted that she stopped going to church. When she died, she asked that this pastor not have anything to do with her death. Jesus does not need cowards to carry his cross.

The Christian faith is 90% raw courage, we are not afraid to live and certainly not afraid to die. It is so important that we not become choked, even strangled, by the cares of this world. 

19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. Mark 4:19 (KJV)

It is not a choice, it is an obligation, to love as Jesus loved, because He told us to love one another (John 13:34). In our busy lives we forget to love one another, even our own friends and family. Recently, one of my friends told me about the death of his father. His father was dying in a hospice facility. He said, "I sat with him day after day. At the end, the nurse said to me, 'He's leaving us.' His limbs were getting cold. I reached over and kissed him on the forehead and walked out of the room. Now why did I not kiss him while he still had presence of mind? Why did I not tell him I loved him before he died?" You see, he had choked back the most important message-meaning of life, God, for God is love.

            Jesus Christ is the light of the world.   To solve our problems we must get close to the light.  For a person to be effective in lying-deceit, everyone wants to believe in him.  Has anyone ever considered how disappointed Jesus must have been with Judas?  Judas, who had seen Him raise the dead and feed the thousands, was there when, Jesus, on His last night, washed all of the disciples' feet including the feet of Judas.  Any group, any mob, always made up of people...  Who can know or understand what thoughts are conjured in the minds of people?  Certainly not the psychologist or psychiatrist... they just think they know.   Yet, most believing pastors will send troubled church members to unbelieving psychologist or psychiatrist for help.

            The distance between the earth and the sun is 92 million miles, yet, this is a very short distance compared to the distance one must travel in attempting to discover the reasons for certain human activity-thoughts.  From the beginning of time, a man's inhumanity against his fellow man, the first two sons born on earth, Cain & Able -- Cain killed his brother Able.  Our minds are tortured as we read historical accounts about the torture of men.  Can one imagine conquered soldiers-slaves marched naked and chained behind conquering soldiers?  Can one imagine families broken up as they were sold into slavery?  More remarkable, even to this very day and every day, when 3,000 babies (1,400 black babies) have been murdered (56 million babies murdered in America alone since the Supreme Court decisions of 1973), imagine mothers submitting to the murder of their own baby within their own body?  We cringe when we study, even in my lifetime, the cruelty of the KKK, Hitler's holocaust, and Stalin's extermination of their fellow countrymen.

            Make friends with fear.  If not yet, it is heading your way.  Most of our fellow countrymen are just going through the motions.  When we lose our democratic republic, at the court house - state house - white house, and we are well on our way, when the cause of Christ becomes more a mockery at the church house than it already is, we are all going to wish we had done more to save our country and our Christian way of life.  Why can't Americans, who work themselves to death paying taxes and saluting the flag, see the futility of it all, the "ketchup king" (secretary of state), the pretender president in the white house who never fired a Daisy BB gun getting your children involved in more and more wars?

            This writer, world traveler, totally blind veteran, has some familiarity with war and the results of war... In Leningrad, Russia, I saw long lines of people outside of any store that had anything to sell.

            Every minute of every day real men and real Christians should be praying for God's direction of our lives.  Civilization, even the advanced civilization that we enjoy, is just a systematic organization of matter.  Most people I know, most children raised today, want to be celebrities instead of servants.  This writer's greatest disappointment has always been with family, friends and associates.  Most, just don't care.  And, they actually think God needs them... that they can just mess around with God and play games... that He actually did not mean what He said in His book.  In fact, most people I know cannot quote one verse of scripture from God's book.  The Jewish people, young Jewish boys, knew the Torah by heart.  We know how God judged them.  Don't laugh or scorn those of us who really believe, 'Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.'  Philippines 2:5.   

            IF, you knew you were the heir or the even joint heir of a fortune, that the will would be read at a

lawyer's office and it was necessary for you to be there, your car "conked" out a mile from the city where the will and last testament of your benefactor was to be read, you would walk and run with joy the last mile of the way.  Satan has conjured up every form of deceit with which he can beguile you... to keep you from your inheritance, your redemption.

            During my long years of training and education in Memphis, Tennessee, some of my work was at the veteran's hospital at Millington.  In one room was four WWII veterans without arms or legs... just human beings with trunks and heads.  Of course, they were on special beds with specially trained nurses caring for them.  Men in this condition do not live long. 

            Veterans who are amputees, cripple, deaf, blind, know what they have given to their country.  I get so sick when I hear the pabulum about care for veterans.  Most veterans know they receive very little care.  Patriotism, like Christianity, is mostly talk.  This old blind veteran never even received a white cane from the Veteran Administration. 

            One preacher, seminary professor, said he had his students go to the cemetery and preach to the tombstones.  By doing this they knew what it was all about.  Some of the most impoverished people I have ever known, in my world travels, were missionaries on the foreign fields.  Of course with electronics all over the world, missionary zeal is different from hundreds of years ago.  Yet, it takes real courage to give your life for the cause of Christ among people who hate you, who do not in any way understand you.  Only those who have endured criticism in a home church or home community, could ever endure what might happen on the mission field. 

            Perhaps my favorite Psalm is Psalm 84, when David speaks of mountains and valleys.  I have written at length about one verse in the Psalm which changed my life.  Psalm 84:5 "Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee."  The race is mine, but in no way could I have engaged in the trials of life without realizing my strength comes from God.

            In my car, often at traffic lights, a car will come near me with the radio blasting or someone will walk down the sidewalk with a boom box blaring.  We can understand people who have this much ferocious noise around them have no tranquility of spirit.  In my years of selling bibles, door-to-door, in the summer, windows open, babies and old people unable to escape the noise inside the building.  There was no mystery to me about the depletion of all joys in the lives of some.  How could they have joy, solitude in living amid the clang, clatter, awful words in music which was always too loud for man or beast?  Just imagine a young, newborn baby, growing up amid such violent noise.  We should be surprised that many young people from many of these ghetto homes turn out as well as they do.  Yet, I have heard adults say they forgive their parents and siblings for the turmoil of their surroundings. 

            The most ecstatically happy person in the room when a child is born is the mother of the newborn baby.  She knows the pain of childbirth.  It took me a long time to discover why so many evangelists became preachers.  They had experienced the pain which sin brings and want to celebrate their deliverance. 

            The only time we find Jesus writing anything, he was in the outer court of the temple.  Some male religionists brought a woman to him caught in the very act of adultery.  (John 8: 3-11)  Of course, mosaic law demanded she be stoned to death.  There were so many stones-rocks in the holy land.  On three of the times I was there, in Capernaum, still mostly rocks, I thought that surely Jesus must of sat on some of these rocks.  I remember rock piles near the Muslim homes.  They still throw rocks at the Jews and Christians.  In a day of cell phones, newsprint and news broadcasts, there is not much need for the throwing of rocks.  It is also strange the man caught with the woman in the adultery was never mentioned.  Jesus said to these religious people, just as he would say to many of us who have been judgmental and hypocritical in our evaluation of others, "He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone."

            The greatest deliverance in Christianity, forgiveness.  We must forgive because our fellow human beings are made in the image of God.  We must forgive because our we do not realize the baggage that some fellow human beings carry around.  We must forgive because God, for Christ's sake, has forgiven us.  In the disciples' prayer, where Jesus taught us to pray, he said, "forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. "  (Matthew 6:12)  How can we expect forgiveness if we can't forgive?  I truly believe Jesus should have added to this prayer, "we should not put trespasses or temptations into the paths of others."  It is so necessary to start out each day asking God to keep Satan and his temptations away from us.

            I still remember the day our school principal held up a white piece of paper with one small black dot on the paper.  He said, "What do you see?"  Everyone said, "A dot on a piece of paper."  He was trying to squelch a rumor going around the school about a certain student.  The popular student had a perfect record in every area of life.  Someone was attempting to make one dot soil that record.

            In a day where the best seller is the worst smeller, when it is politically correct to excuse all bad behavior, it is so necessary to applaud-rejoice in good behavior, especially forgiveness of sins.  (Philippians 3:20).  When we realize the truth of sins ruin and Christ's redemption we know the full joy of forgiveness, both the joy of our forgiving and the joy of others forgiveness.  Truth is truth whether anyone believes it or not.

It is a fortunate person indeed, who never has never had problems-troubles. If you had not had problems-troubles, relax, they are on the way.

We do what we do because we believe what we believe. What do people do who do not have the "wait" of instruction found in God's word?

In the marvelous book, Imitation of Christ, Thomas a Kempis said, "I am what I am before God, no more no less."

At best, a man is just a man. This is why a man needs to know the best, Jesus.

I learned to depend on the promises of God at a very early age. Then, came college, trusting his mercy to see me through. I still remember as if it were yesterday, the stone fence behind Wilson Library, Chapel Hill. I had not eaten for several days, still several days before I got paid from my job. There was much food on the farm, back home, should I call for them to come get me. Back then, there were no grants, loans, student aid. God whispered to me that in that medical school library where I was working, the large chairs, money had fallen out of the pockets of those who sat in them. I found enough money in those chairs to get me through the next days until I was paid. Satan, his demons, power of the air (Eph 6:13) are the best saboteurs the world has ever known. Satan makes the Nazi saboteurs look like amateurs. Most Christians have never realized that you are a constant target, He wants the joy of your salvation, particularly the promise of eternity.

In the Muslim world, when a dark cloud comes over, it is referred to as "al-zulumat." In the Jewish world, the present world of emergency, dialing 9-1-1, we find our help in Psalm 91:1: "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." The ancient fathers of sons paid large amounts for their son's wives. Two of Jesus' ancestors, Jacob, left the wrath of his twin Esau, his hand pegged father, Isaac's wealth and was forced to work 14 years for "Uncle Laban" to get two wives, Leah and Rachel and their handmaidens. King David, "whom God loved" wanted King Saul's daughter for a wife. King Saul required the skins of 104 Philistines. Their descendant Jesus, endured the shame of the cross for his bride, the church. I wish saboteur Satan would find some "fresh meat" leave this old man alone for awhile. It seems that everyday there is a new problem-trouble. This hot summer, it seems that every air conditioner in every building I own, is failing. This spoiled nation wants comfort, air conditioning and I have no choice but to go through the expense of the repairs-replacements. Most people do not realize the unhealthiness of air conditioning. The worst, a plane, a test tube-Petri dish, flying through the air, producing germs, affecting everyone breathing the re-circulated air. Everyone reminds me that it is a new world. My cousin was telling me that one year when his father was sick the only money that came into their house was the 13 dollars and 50 cents from him driving a school bus and a small amount from his mother selling butter and eggs. Yet recently, as his wife shopped in a grocery store with coupons, he saw that most minority customers just handed the clerk a plastic card-modern welfare. In their shopping cart paid for by the tax payer, beer-wine, choice cuts of meat.

This writer was one of the first visitors to China after the Nixon re-opening. Like ants, all dressed the same, all living in the same conditions, all riding bicycles. Today, most Chinese have moved into the cities, world's greatest car market. China has 271 billionaires.

When my problems-troubles come up, when I want to quit, when I know the inequities of life, I realize there are many in much worse condition. Even the Democrat Secretary of agriculture, Milsap, stated that he is praying for rain, as most of the nation is in draught, crops drying up in the fields. God will always have the last word. At the time of the profit Joel, locusts devoured the land (Joel 1:14). Saboteur Satan just has the ability to target individuals but God can target nations and has done so many times. Do we think for one second that God will allow America to escape the murder of so many babies? It takes 2000 years for a taboo such as the shame of homosexuality or giving birth to children without marriage. In the present politically correct, humanist, secular, tolerance, all has changed over night. Total sabotage of family, fidelity, integrity.

"There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High" (Psalm 46:4) In this same Psalm 46, twice, verses 7 and 11, "The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge." When God says something twice, particularly in the same chapter of The Bible, it would be good to pay attention. The Bible, the only source book of truth.

Escaping Reality

The first time I was in Russia, forty years ago, when it was class book communism, I was accompanied by a reporter-executive from radio station WOR, New York City. Moving around the large cities, Moscow, Leningrad (the name of this city has changed several times) we were amazed at the alcoholism... people of all ages drunk on the streets. I remember saying to him, “If I had to live in this offal place I would escape by staying drunk.” Mankind cannot stand much reality. It is the human psyche, neurological condition, to escape. Many of you will remember Jack Nicholson in the movie A Few Good Men. He said, “You cannot handle the truth.” I have found in my life that Satan's greatest weapon is his ability to assist us in compromising truth. “Broad is the way.” (Matthew 7:13), Hell will be full of people who would not face the truth. The truth is the truth whether anyone believes it or not. We do what we do because we believe what we believe, and most believe the absolutes of God's Word, living a clean life, internally (what you put into your body) and externally, does not apply to them. Most people, like my disability of blindness, believe they will never be disabled, that nothing bad will ever happen to them.

The Magna Carta of the Christian is found in Ephesians 4. Here we find the dangers of opening doors to problems.

The parent opens the door to a child's addictive lifestyle by not early establishing discipline, routine, habits, the honor of one's name, ancestry. Some think it is escaping reality to establish family honor in a child's life... esteem in one's name... esteem in appearance. The early establishment of chores, careful food intake, careful consideration toward others, even animals. One does not become a good citizen by accident, haphazard living. God does not care whether a father loves a mother or not, He prefers a child born of love. He does expect their flesh becoming one flesh to result in a civilized, productive citizen.

The door is opened to obesity (One-fifth of all children are obese) when parents start with a diet of sugared cereals, soft drinks, etc.

The door is opened to drug addiction with Ritalin or other Barbiturates. There are side effects for every drug... even an aspirin. ADD, ADHD were unknown just a few years ago but they have become a funnel for money to schools and parents. I can assure you that children on drugs in elementary school will be addicted to drugs of some sort the remainder of their lives. Worse yet, always on their record, when seeking employment, insurance.

The door is opened to alcoholism, a method of drug escape, drinking beer, wine coolers, etc. Four or five percent alcohol in beer leads quickly to fifty or sixty percent alcohol in bourbon. A small jolt with marijuana leads to a much larger jolt with cocaine. Among the heaviest alcoholics, women meet or surpass men. Both men and women are involved in alcohol rehabilitation. Alcoholism is a disease - abusive, dependency, twice as many men as women, simply because it does not affect women's employment or driving as much as men. Next to money, chief cause of divorce, four times higher with alcoholics. One of the saddest persons I have ever known, a surgeon whose wife was an uncontrolled alcoholic, because of his children, he would not divorce her.

Equally sad, an aunt and uncle whose female child born after they were 40 years of age, the daughter became a drug addict, destroyed them psychologically and financially.

The door is opened to addictive gambling with the almost innocent purchase of lottery tickets, betting on ball games. The wife of one of my college friends, a man exceptional in professional ability and personality, called me recently after he had been found dead in a Las Vegas hotel. She said, “He had a marvelous practice, two marvelous children, both doctors, but gambling had conquered him.“

The door is opened to idol worship when we put other things before God, such idols as technical toys (ipods, iphones, etc.). Many know more about ball scores, millionaire ball players, millionaire golfers, millionaire race car drivers, than they know about the poverty of real human beings around them.

The door is opened to greed and envy with constant attention to the stock market. Bankers are not your friends, stock brokers make money from you whether the market is going up or down. Sure, the price of gold, silver, palladium is important on the world stage. Don't neglect the performing stage of your family, friends, neighbors. One of this writer's greatest regrets, not keeping friendships in repair. Mark Twain said,”Friendships must be kept in repair.” The memories of High School, college friends, become important in old age.

The door is opened for your health problems when you neglect what you put in your body. Your body is a temple not a dumpster. Ill health comes from two main reasons, lack of nutrition for your cells and the toxicity of your cells from chemicals, mostly from plastic.

Many have asked me, why so much cancer? Everybody has cancer cells, everyone has cancer. It is a matter of your immune system whether tissue destruction starts. Cancer cells can disguise and trick. Much adulterated food, now eaten by humans in fast food places, was once put into pet food. Nothing is more destructive than GMOs and MSGs. Diabetes, an unknown disease while I was in school, is now an epidemic.

Satan has a plan for your life. 1) To keep you from becoming a Christian 2) To keep you from helping others to become Christian. 3) To keep you from caring about anything, even the health of your own body, the future of your country.

In trapping animals, pests, you look for tracks so you know where to put the trap, the poison. Satan is the tempter, knows how to trap us. Deal with your sin quickly, know the inescapable reality of Heaven and Hell.

If I Were Satan

Jonathan Edwards was probably America's greatest preacher. He entered Yale University at the age of 14 and graduated with honors at the age of 17. He was probably America's greatest intellectual, credited as the backbone of the Great Awakening which started around 1730, his greatest sermon, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” was delivered in 1741. Edwards was not an articulate speaker, a pulpiteer, he read the sermon close to his face because all he had was candlelight. The sermon had such a great effect on the audience that they actually felt they were hanging over the fires of hell by a spider's web. He died from a smallpox inoculation just before he was to become president of Princeton University, he was the grandfather of Aaron Burr.

American history has been molded through the influence of great preachers, preachers not influenced and controlled by the waves and wiles of the world. I have been fortunate enough to have heard, in person, some of these great preachers: R.G. Lee, George Truett, Donald Grey Barnhouse, Charles E. Fuller, most of today's preachers are just assassins of the doctrine “once delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3) such as Rick Warren, who like Oprah gives the same answers about his ministry, “we go as humanitarians.” We are warned about these churches, Laodicea, lukewarm, Sardis, morgue with a steeple. The old preachers such as Edwards, D.L. Moody, spoke of what would happen with a profane civilization, agnostic churches. America has become a profane nation.

Judgment begins at the house of God (1 Peter 4:17), most young people, raised in the church leave because the church has lost its gravitas on their life, holiness and obedience in worship. Many young people are attracted to the modernistic assembly because there is little difference in the music of the discotheque to that of the so-called megachurch, drama and drums. Many young people like the casual dress, the fact that in modern church music, you never hear the name of Jesus, Grace or doctrine.

If I were Satan, I would destroy the church because it has been the center of American spiritual devotion, physical and political activity. Most seminaries are tainted with denominationalism, young men and women more interested in the package than the promise. The articulate moderation, politically correct “pal in the sky” (quote from one modernist preacher) polite verbiage, certainly not to wishing to offend, especially those with deep pockets, inclusive, sincerely right, whether Islamist, Buddhist, Unitarian, as one fits all, cloak of kindness. God certainly would not send anyone sincerely wrong, sincerely politically correct, sincerely taking care of the needs of the world, sincerely loving everyone, to hell. If I were Satan, I could convince everyone just to be good, nice, the Beatles philosophy, “all you need is love”.

If I were Satan, I would never mention Jesus, I would never speak as if I were looking directly at Jesus. I would try to convince the world that just the worship of God, whether Jewish, Islamist, any cult is sufficient. I would never speak of salvation in a service, after all there may be someone in the service unsaved, it might be the only time they ever hear the Gospel. I would never speak of repentance, or the plan of salvation, except at a revival service. I would never talk about a backdoor revival, cleansing of church roles, only front door revival, “counting numbers instead of making numbers count”. Surely, Satan knows just as all the world knows, that it is only the full house, the full parking lot, the full offering plate, that impresses God and the onlooking world.

If I were Satan, I would use the same methods of warfare which the enemy has used for centuries, infiltration is easier and more effective if you wear the uniforms of your opposition, if you talk the same language, if you have the same habits (Jimmy Carter kissed Brezhnev just before Brezhnev and Russia invaded Afghanistan). In enemy infiltration, Satan knows that you can teach a parrot to talk, a bird to sing convincingly; pretenders, masqueraders, imposters, infiltrating the camp, the easiest way to take over.

If I were Satan, I would destroy the Christian family, particularly in the media. I would start with a single man, an uncle with a butler, then a single mother, divorced or otherwise, then homosexual embellishment, a house with several gay people, or even one or two with adopted children. If a story involving a mother and father, I would make the father look like a dunce, a father with no backbone, no control of the home.

If I were Satan I would have moles or spies involved in every spiritual activity, particularly at the Christian college, Bible college, seminary level. Satan is adaptable, patient, ambiguous, Satan is capable of instilling and installing notions of quackery and quaking, concerning any doctrine, or philosophy. Satan is capable of internal combustion...causing fights and fermentation, attitudes and belief system, translating and transplanting God's word into choking bones of interpretation. Satan will have you ignore the good, succulent meat of courage and encouragement, enlightenment and enlistment.

In the book The Man Who Never Was, we find such a plan as Satan would use, perfected by the British in WWII. A dead man had washed ashore in Spain with top secret plans, it told how British forces would invade Greece and Sardinia, the Germans fell for the trap as the British, as intended, invaded Italy. The operation was called “Operation Mincemeat”, the fooling, the beguiling, started with Satan in the Garden of Eden. We do what we do because we believe what we believe. Eve believed and fell for the doubts put in her mind by Satan. Most human beings are self-delusional.

If I were Satan, I would use the very human thought-process of doubting everything, particularly the non-believer doubting an eternal life. Progressive preachers and pastors of the progressive left certainly those of liberation theology, are the biggest suckers of them all, Satan's pets. Doubting good and evil, heaven and hell, and then the believer, having made the choice, having chosen Christ. There is still the ever-persistent prodding of Satan: “did I make the right choice, am I missing out on something?”

Karl Marx, in his 1848 Communist Manifesto stated that his most aggressive stalwarts would be preachers. Satan has us where he wants us, ten years between the fall of the USSR and 9/11. The Russians, the Chinese, Satan's communists want to live...the Islamists look forward to death. Communism can be defined in one sentence, “abolition of private property.” Christians who have escaped totalitarianism, Marxist or Islamist, cannot understand America's rush toward suicide. We only study history to learn that Satan is liar, he always pays off in counterfeit.

I Did It My Way

Acapulco is one of my favorite places in the world. The last time I was there, Queen Elizabeth also made her appearance there. She proceeded up the Pacific Coast to spend some time at President Reagan’s ranch. Out on a boat in Acapulco Bay, my guide said “Up on that cliff is the magnificent home of Frank Sinatra.“ Of course, he knew I couldn’t see, but he described the house for me. Once, in Jerusalem, staying at the Hilton Hotel, I was talking with the late Totie Fields and her husband.  Totie was already in a wheelchair at that time and this was probably her last trip. Sinatra passed by in his golfing clothes and, of course, said hello to Totie.  One of my employees accompanied Sinatra from his plane at the airport to the university auditorium here when he performed some years ago. He said, “You know he is a very old man and he acts like an old man until he gets on stage. But when he was on stage he was totally different from the man I brought from the plane and took back to the plane.” When my lawyer was finishing some paper work on my estate, he said, “I’m going to put the Sinatra clause in your papers, that if anyone challenges your estate they will get nothing.”  He said, “Sinatra made sure his heirs would not quibble over his property.”

Sinatra made the song famous that all people will sing on their way to Hell, “ I Did It My Way.” The Garden of Eden was a paradise, Adam and Eve had everything they needed plus the companionship of God. But, as is always the case when things are going well, Satan has a way of making his appearance, and the scripture says “He beguiled Eve” and Eve, instead of saying to Satan “ I’ll let you talk to my husband,” she tried to handle things herself and brought on the humanity of the world all the problems which we face everyday. And, the first hen-pecked man on earth, Adam, blamed everything on his wife.

Pride precedes every sin and Eve had enough pride to think she could handle Satan. Sin is always beautiful and pleasant for a season, but always costs more than it's worth.  There is always some pleasure in sin for a time, the forbidden fruit was beautiful, tasty, very desirable. The forbidden fruits in our lives are always attractive and we feel do no harm.

I was a college freshman when I saw my first television set. Living way out in the country, we were fortunate to have a radio. At Chapel Hill, some boys in the dormitory said, “We can go to a furniture store down on Franklin Street and watch Carolina play Notre Dame at the Polo Grounds in New York, that store has a new television set.”  Years later, speaking before a youth conference at a Baptist meeting, I said, “if Satan had desired to invent something to make people just as mean as possible, he would have designed and invented a television set.” I had no idea how prophetic my words were at that time. This one electric instrument has become the idol of the American home. The average child watches five hours a day.  Most adults spend more time than that with their television set. The modern television set has channels for everything.  One of my employees, who also worked for a television repair shop, said, “there is more pornography watched on television than anything else.”

I remember my first experience at a “dirty book” store. I was in Copenhagen, Denmark at the famous Grand Railroad Station in the City Center, the station seen in so many WWII movies.  A friend with me said, “The porno section of the city is over to the right of the station” and so like Eve, beguiled by the serpent, I walked over there with him and saw stall after stall of pornographic magazines and pictures.

Years later, I saw the same type of thing in Greenwich Village in New York City and some years later, on the back streets of this “Bible Belt” Southern city in which I have lived most of my life.  But, today, the dirty book stores have all moved inside your own house.  There is no pornography known in Hollywood, Copenhagen, New York City that cannot be found just by pushing a few buttons on your own personal computer.  It is addictive.  I have had grown men, taxi cab drivers and such, reveal to me just how much time they spend watching pornography.  And, it is not just a male addiction, in a recent poll, 30% of all females admitted that they watch pornography.

You are just as capable as me in researching the number of divorces in this country, births to unwed mothers in this country, rape and molestation statistics in this country, the number of men in prison (that you are supporting at the rate of $45,000 per year) for rape, molestation and even murder in the name of lust, mostly brought on by pornography. Every lustful, sexual, sinful thought starts in the mind often with the enabling effect of alcohol or some other drug. A female or male will yield to the temptation of illegal sexual behavior, without considering the consequences.  We must consider this, when we consider the 3,500 babies aborted each day in this country (1,400 black babies) and the fact that although the black population is only 13% of the total, 52% of all abortions are black babies and 70% of all prison inmates are black males, to say nothing of the 70% of Black females who have STDs (sexually transmitted diseases).

One of my friends, a prominent Black physician, a medical officer in the Army with me, said to me recently, “The black race is being eradicated by AIDs and abortion.”  Most new cases of HIV Aids are black male and female.  These are the facts and we might as well face the truth.  The truth is the truth whether anyone wants to hear it or not.  Those who practice sexual promiscuity can sing, “I Did It My Way.”

In Trafalgar Square in London there is a tremendous monument to Lord Nelson, leader of the British Navy. Perhaps his greatest naval battle led to the defeat of Napoleon. The word swept through England that Nelson had defeated Napoleon. But a point of great tourist interest in Paris is the Tomb of Napoleon, both of these great minds knew victory and defeat. Every human experience results in either victory or defeat.  You become a victor over your emotions or you can become a victim of your emotions. In sexual promiscuity your defeat often results in the hurt of so many others. Proud parents of both male and female children rejoice in the union of purity knowing they had the discipline to wait until marriage instead of running the risk of pregnancy, and the hurt of producing a child out of wedlock. God was not joking when he said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5)

Some years ago, an attractive young woman worked for me, very capable of doing her job, who had three children at home, all by different fathers, and she had never been married to a man. I told her one day, “If you think your children will forget your life style when they are older, you are very wrong.” This developed after a news account of one child’s father firing a weapon at another child’s father when they were checking on their children at her house and she was busy in a back bedroom with another, newer boyfriend. Another secretary told me that she never wanted to see her biological mother, that “as a child, she would often come home from school and her mother would be entertaining a man in the house and she was told to go and stay at a neighbor’s house.” She said, “I did not want to go to the neighbor’s house and they did not want me.” Can you imagine such a tramp for a mother? You see, these women decided to “Do it ‘their’ way”, to the degradation of their own children.  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

I do not believe Thomas Jefferson, the second President of the United States, was a Christian, but he had a great appreciation for God’s Word as long as he, perhaps our most brilliant President, agreed with His Word. We have all heard about Jefferson’s Bible. Jefferson with a blade, excised all the scripture out of his Bible with which he did not agree. Often, radio commentators and even ministers of the Gospel will say, referring to the Bible, I do not think this or that or, I do not agree with this. It does not matter what you think or with what scripture you agree, the Holy Word of God is inerrant, omnipotent, omniscient.“Thy word is forever settled in Heaven.”(Psalm 119:89)

The broad way that leads to eternal destruction, and many are on it including all the liars and those who support the liars and the abortionists, the thieves and the hypocrites in and out of government will sing, all the way to Hell, “I Did It My Way.” Those in Sodom, were probably singing that tune when the city was forever erased from the earth.

Battle Front

There have been many great warfare battles in history. Young men and women, who too, only had one life to live … most buried, just wrapped in the flag of their country.

The greatest battle known to scientists, theologians, or anyone else is the battle between God and Satan for your mind. The brain, weighing about three pounds, filled with millions upon millions of dendrites (brain cells or purkinje cells), millions of words of information stored about every sound, smell, vision you have ever experienced. Of the trillions of cells in the human body, there are 14 billion in the brain. The internal structure of each cell contains thousands of pages of information about you and you only. It is the brain that holds memories, calculations, instinctive behavior living with you until your clinical death which, at that time, your soul, only you, will escape into the ether of eternity. Without mass, without weight, you have a soul. It is your soul. The tent of human flesh which you use while on this earth will decay and slowly disintegrate but the most magnificent creation this brain can imagine will live on forever.

No person who has ever lived has used the full capacity of the brain. The human mind is unique in every way … your persona, of the billions of human beings who have lived on this earth, no two alike.

I will never understand why and how an individual will intentionally take chemicals into his body to affect and destroy his mental ability yet, it is done every day … shooting poison directly into the blood vessels, taking poison by mouth or nurturing poisonous, toxic thoughts through the ears or other senses. I suggested to one governor, one time, that all drunks, caught driving under the influence should be forced to spend some time at a mental hospital but, like the time when school children were shown the electric chair at Central Prison, we are so afraid we will abuse the sensitivities of children or even those intent on becoming criminal. In the best homes in town, at the country club,the men and women who drink too much are called alcoholics. In the poor homes in town, down on skid row, those who drink too much beer or ripple are called drunks. None of this is as debilitating as mind altering chemicals.

80% of Gulf War veterans are on Prozac. 80% of Iraq veterans are being treated for mental disorders. This does not include the many receiving pensions for physical disability and rehabilitation … blindness, loss of limbs (wheel chairs), brain and neurological trauma. Most college students are now using psychotropic drugs and many in the workplace, uppers and downers.

Derek Stansbury, a 26 year old Senior Air Force intelligence specialist, reportedly took eight Ambien sleeping tablets before boarding a flight from Europe to America. Sleep walking in the plane, talking about a bomb in his suitcase, the plane was diverted to Maine.

As a veteran of the Korean conflict, still in the hospital during Vietnam, I cannot understand why the military services continuously manifest such problems. Did we not learn anything from Fort Hood, Texas? Not since WWII has America really won a military conflict … Korea mostly a standoff, Vietnam a defeat … brush fires in the Balkans, Panama etc., Iraq a standoff and Afghanistan moving towards defeat. When American troops invaded Iraq, told the Iraqi troops to go home, tried to pass out sandwiches with one hand while shooting at people with the other, I thought, “has Rumsfeld, Rice and George W. Bush gone completely crazy?” Instead of occupying and putting the entire country under curfew, in a short time there was 80% more cars in Iraq than when the war started. Then, they wondered how the people were moving explosives around … blowing up our troops as well as their own people. Does it embarrass anyone that some ragtag pirates from Somalia, in little motor boats are capturing large ships and holding them for ransom?

My thoughts about America's military future have been greatly influenced by some veterans I have hired in recent years … Marine, Air Force, Navy, Army. There are always exceptions but most have no work ethic at all … absolutely no morals. They either just get up and walk out and you never hear from them again or, if because of absolute sorriness, you let one go, he will come back and rob you since he did not take enough while he was employed. Obviously, the military will now take into the ranks anyone of room temperature, still breathing.

A recent poll tells us that only 8% of Americans feel that Congress can solve their problems. TEA parties are a good indication of American's distrust of government. Hundreds are taking place across the country, Republicans, Democrats, Independents. Sarah Palin, former Governor of Alaska and John McCain's running mate, has made 12 million dollars speaking at these TEA party events. She said, “start picking a party, the TEA party system is not a party, you must get involved in one”. The problem, Democrats, who outnumber Republicans, are largely responsible for getting us into this Cap and Trade movement (erasable carbon tax), truth movement (senseless 9-11 attacks), birth movement (Obama's birth certificate), financial dilemma (Democrats Dodd and Franks and the whole Goldman Sachs, bankers, federal reserve, mortgage fiasco).

How can any American, any person who would dare call himself Christian, vote for the Democrat party, gay agenda malarkey, abortion, gay marriage, takeover of 1/6th of the economy with federal controlled healthcare?

Any time, anyone objects to total Democrat control of our lives through government, the race card is played. It has nothing to do with race, rather what is going on in the mind.

Th country is about equally split between liberals and conservatives. On the liberal side, about 15% of the 50% are blacks and gays. They are totally committed to turning this country into a Communist cauldron of lawlessness and deceit … anything goes as long as it does not require work or morality. About 15% of the other 50% are staunch, hardcore conservative fundamentalists. They were, at one time, called evangelicals but, there are so many pretenders in the evangelical movement. For instance evangelicals voting for the liberal doubled in the last election (Kerry 16%/Obama 32%). Even Catholics, the most fundamental, religious, pro-life denomination voted 54% for Obama. Catholics, largest denomination, controlling 70% of America's vote, could keep America Christian however, like Protestants, Baptists, they love the world, and the things of the world more than they love God.

When the Holy Spirit of God permeates one's being, the Holy Spirit of God controls one's life and actions. From the beginning of time, there have been pretenders … those religious, church people who have presence of mind enough to get into the church house, sit on a pew, and then stand, with hymn book in hand and sing about “loyalty to Christ” or “Savior, like a Shepard lead me” then, like the world, and the Pagans of the world, we'll go to the polls … same brain, same mind, same heart and vote Paganism. Now, do you understand, why we are in the mess we are in, militarily, financially, scholastically, politically and religiously? Now, can you understand why there is so little patriotism, propriety, prosperity?

The financial tsunami, the pending international conflict in Iran, the pandering and pampering of gays and blacks in state capitols, every area of the socioeconomic system, the academic system will not solve the problem.

Satan has never been very concerned with your feet, he wants control of your mind. History shows us that very few minds have been totally committed to goodness and generosity. It is time to start. This is the “Battle Front”.

Rules for Radicals

Saul David Alinsky (January 30, 1909-June 12, 1972) published the book Rules for Radicals in 1971. In the original edition of the book, the preface states the following:"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins -- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom—Lucifer."

Rule number 1, that perennial question, "Does the end justify the means?" is meaningless as it stands: the real and only question regarding the ethics of means and ends is, and always has been, "Does this particular end justify this particular means?" The remaining 10 rules all substantiate and revolve around rule number 1, 'the end justifies the means'; except rule #10 which states, that you do what you can with what you have and clothe it with moral garments. This rule, combined with all the others exemplifies more than words can express, what we are seeing now in Washington with the President who made no secret of using this book for his indoctrination into his brand of politics.

Last year, half a trillion dollars were spent on athletic events in this country. This is a large percentage of our national gross product. It was determined long ago, that enthused people go to athletic events, that if they have a good time, they go back again. Different strokes for different folks, some will drive many miles, spend much money, to be involved in a football activity. Some will drive many miles, spend much money, to be involved in a basketball activity. Some will drive many miles, spend much money, to be involved in a baseball activity. Much of the enthusiasm evolves from alumni loyalty and even loyalty to a city. It is difficult to even imagine, the amount of money, time, effort, in the sport of golf. In all these sports activities, the name of the game is 'rules and regulations'.

Completely separated from athletic activities is an almost radical enthusiasm for politics. Millions of dollars are spent in an effort to get someone established in a political office. Often denied, it is a proven fact that the motive for winning politically is future assurance of pay-off. One does not spend millions of dollars to win a political office that pays a few thousand without realizing future rewards. Political radicals more often possess that interior fire in the belly to reform and will attempt anything to get their message and their beliefs into practice. The radical reformer believes he is right, money is a secondary issue.

God help us when we have a politician who is a radical reformer who also loves money and is willing to do anything in and out of the law to get it. Corruption in politics is more stringent than ever in history, simply because the radical reformers, observing the lifestyle of the rich and famous, have decided to use their political clout in amassing tremendous political contribution coffers with power pay-offs leading to future board appointments and advisory contracts.

Morality does not enter into the 'political machines' of political radicals and reformers. With so much money available, who needs God? We have become a profane, not a holy nation. The tares have taken over the churches, sneak thieves, deceivers have taken over government. It does not hurt to been seen in a church on occasion, and as one ex-President learned, carrying a large Bible makes one very photogenic. But, the political radical no longer cares what people think, as long as the money is available to buy advertising and pay for their thinking. The true radical, will cut any corner, compromise on any issue, rationalize any fact, to reach a conclusion acceptable to the 'politically correct', propelled with enough money for a satisfying closure. Vladmir Lenin told us long ago, if you tell a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.

The charismatic Mr. Obama, who wooed the liberal constituency into his Muslim-Marxist trap, actually believes, since it had not been tried by past presidents and their representatives, that he has the magical, rhetorical ability, the magical oral persuasion to convince the most radical heretics the world has ever known into his way of thinking. Middle East warfare is just deception, from what is happening on our borders, every Arab knows that Obama is a Sunni Muslim, he is using his influence in the Middle East, and particularly the smoke-screen of Iran, in the radical rule for Islamic control of the world.

Maybe he took the Dale Carnegie course at one time (How to Win Friends and Influence People) but, when you are dealing with radicals such as the terrorists in Russia, where at Breslan they killed 186 children (so burned that one could not distinguish males from females) or radical Wahabi extremists such as the Saudi Arabian princes who do not mind chopping off limbs or even heads, in their religious zeal to keep their enslaved populations under control. In Riyadh, perhaps the most styled Michelle (Obama) would take to wearing the Muslim garb, including the full veil, not being able to drive a vehicle, or walk anywhere without male escort. Perhaps, Mr. Obama can persuade the democratic government of India to end the amputation of children's limbs, throwing babies off temples, cow worship, or even religious rituals in the holy Ganges. After all, one of his heroes, Karl Marx, said “Democracy is the road to socialism.” and “Religion is the opiate of the people.” In giving his Reichstag tirade in Cairo (Reichstag speech by Hitler in 1941) he used the usual communist/radical motif; lies and exaggerations. (The printing press was invented in Germany, Algebra in Babylon) As with the naïve Congress of the United States, he follows the mantra of Friedrich Nietzsche, “I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you”.

What better place could he give this speech than in Cairo, a city of 17 million Muslims, so packed in the city that each individual has just enough space for two footprints. In the several times I have visited Cairo, visited the great Giza plateau, where the Great Pyramid and other pyramids are located, millions of idle people just sitting around waiting for American largess, (the billions from American taxpayers, the only restraints keeping these Muslims from stripping Israel like a horde of locusts) absolutely nothing green, no commercial activity of any sort except trinket sellers. Mr Obama put into the ears of the Muslim hordes pacifiers of cooing words, which would have enthralled Queen Hatshepsut (Hatshepsut's tomb in the Valley of the Kings, in all probability the Egyptian mother of Moses), first woman pharaoh who like Mr. Obama, loved the stigma of mysticism.

Even in America, Mr. Obama is not afraid of radical associations. Those great Democrat supporters of Mr. Obama, ex-president Clinton and ex-Secretary of torture, Ms. Reno, did not hire aliens from Mars to burn alive 85 women and children at the compound in Waco, Texas. Radical control and the establishment of rules is best shown by the killing of 26% of the population of Cambodia, the Pol Pot Collectivization, to move from urban to rural in order to 'restart civilization'. Previously, Joseph Stalin had killed an estimated 60 million of his fellow Russians to establish radical rule for his totalitarian control. An estimated 300,000 people were killed in Nanking (Rape or Massacre of Nanking) during the communist take over of China.

Every radical I have ever know, every radical I have ever studied; there are no rules for radicals. Their main objective is 'self' and for all others to bow down to them. We see this, much to our horror, in the Congressional houses of power in Washington, DC. There are no rules for radicals and the Congress, the Judiciary, with supposed 'checks and balances' have yielded to the most radical administration in the history of this Republic.

From 1799-1892, the Supreme Court had declared this nation Christian. For the past 125 years, we have seen the steady take-over of the Christian church by Satan's demons, radicals who have force fed every indecency, every decadent idea, every totalitarian ideology, palpable to those who find such pleasure in sin for a season. Look at the recent election, people willing to give up the blood-bought republic for change.

“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:19)

Grasshoppers

Moses, (40 years in Pharaoh's court, 40 years as a sheep herder in the desert) tells God's people that God will give them what He calls the Promised Land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey. He will settle His people down in this land and this is where He will break the Israelites off into 12 different tribes. (Descendants of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, who had spent 400 years as slaves in Egypt) However, there is one little catch to this story. Before they are allowed to enter into this Promised Land, they must all first pass a test. (Estimated 2 ½ million Jewish slaves) God allows them to stay in the wilderness for 40 years. He gives them all the basics as far as food and water in order to survive. (Nothing wears out, not even their shoes) God purposely tested His people to see if they would hold fast to Him and follow all of His ways while in this wilderness setting. Time after time, they continued to get themselves into major trouble with the Lord. (Longing for the 'flesh pots', melons and cucumbers of Egypt) Even when Moses was on the mountain, face to face with God, God's very Hand, writing down the Commandments which they would live, sin took over and they made for themselves a gold calf to worship; Moses found them dancing naked around an idol. Never think that the indecency of nudity and idol worship is new.

At one point, God got so mad at their rebellious attitude, that He literally wanted to kill them. God always draws lines, cross the line at your own risk. We have been so enamored with the Beatles music of “All You Need is Love”, or Frank Sinatra's, “I Did It My Way” that we have forgotten that our Lord is a God of Love, but also a consuming fire. Moses went into the gap for his people, pleaded his case before God as to why He should not kill His people, and the Bible says God relented and changed His mind - all because Moses stood in the gap and effectively pleaded his case before God. However, just after a little over 2 years into this 40 year wilderness journey is where they finally blew it for the last time with God the Father.

The Israelites sent twelve spies into the Promised Land to check out who the enemy was and to develop battle strategies to defeat them. God was going to allow them to go into the Promised Land, but they first had to defeat and drive out their enemies in order to conquer and possess the land. When the spies came back, ten of them came back with a bad report. (Majority reports are always popular) They said their enemies were giants and that their kingdoms were too well fortified and they wouldn't be able to defeat them. (They would look like grasshoppers) Now mind you, God had just finished pulling and delivering them out of Egypt with one of the greatest displays of His supernatural power the world has ever seen with Him throwing 10 plagues against the Egyptians and then parting the Red Sea to give them safe passage into the wilderness. (They went through parted waters on dry land)

When God saw their negative attitudes and their lack of faith and belief in Him and His power, He literally threw up His hands and said that was going to be it. At this point, He tells them that all of the men 20 years and older would not enter into the Promised Land due to their lack of faith and belief in Him. (Faith is not a feeling, it is an instilling) He said that they would all wander in the desert for the next 40 years until they all literally died out. God says that their carcasses would fall in this wilderness and that their sons would be their shepherds bearing the brunt of their infidelity towards God. With God, there are no 'civil rights'. We are wholly His. (Deuteronomy 1:36) (Caleb, whose name means dog, was given the land around Hebron “which I have visited and where the graves of Abraham and Sarah are located” and we know whose descendants own this land) The spies that went to the land did so for 40 days.(note: 40 is used throughout scripture; 40 is the number in the Bible that is always a time of 'testing'; just as Christ was 40 days in the wilderness) As a result of this bad report - God pronounces judgment that they should wander in the wilderness for 40 years to reconcile with the 40 days that they had spied out the land.

This is where Joshua and Caleb come in. God then tells Joshua and Caleb that they and the younger generation under 20 years of age would be the ones to go into the Promised Land because they had "wholeheartedly followed God." They had full faith and belief in God that He could defeat all of their enemies once they went into the Promised Land to conquer and possess it. Joshua was the leader that eventually led them in. (Across the Jordan, on dry land) Moses himself was not allowed to go in and he died and was buried out in the wilderness. Joshua then took Moses' position as leader of the Israelites. Joshua then goes into the Promised Land with his strong faith and belief in God, and then proceeds to conquer their enemies, as in Jericho, and possess the land that God had promised their forefathers: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is why the above story is so powerful. The Israelites lost their one and only chance to go into this Promised Land due to one main reason - fear and lack of full faith and belief in the power of God to see them through. 365 times God speaks of fear in His Word. (best antidote for fear is faith in God) They were too scared of the giants they saw in the land they were supposed to possess - and they did not have enough faith and belief in God that He could conquer and defeat these giants for them. As a result, they lost out on the biggest blessing of their entire life. The lesson for the minority report, Joshua and Caleb, is that God provides for those who 'wholeheartedly' follow him. (1 John 3:1)

The world has become infested with 'grasshoppers', afraid of Satan's giants. Dr. Francis Schaeffer, perhaps one of the greatest preachers I've ever heard, said, “Show me what the world is doing and thinking today and I will show you what the church will be doing and thinking 7 years from now.” Yesterday, in the Michael Jackson service, we saw the graduation of the finality of the collapse of culture and community of the black citizens of our country. The racist 'hangers on' and opportunists, such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, who actually stated that Michael Jackson was the greatest star in the universe, that Obama is President because of the contributions of a man of such questionable character as Michael Jackson (even his own sister called him a child molester, he even admitted to such in a television interview) The news media gave 'gavel to gavel' coverage of his pedophilia case. One black preacher, on the radio, said, “The King of Pop was very happy with the King of Kings and that Heaven is a more wonderful place with Michael in it.”

Has the demonic activity of Satan so taken over our sanity that we can accept the thievery of the likes of Bernie Madoff, knowing that such thievery continues to go on in both the public and private sectors of our country. Madoff was the one who the government sought out to give THEM advice on our country's economy! Are we so insane, that we can not realize the 'regulators', oversight committees, law enforcement, can not recognize (as was reported in this morning's news) that 10 federal buildings in Washington, DC, INCLUDING HOMELAND SECURITY, were entered, bombs were assembled in the bathrooms and the assemblers walked through the halls with the bombs in their briefcases! Two reporters from NY, (one talked with me about the incident) went aboard aircraft with the very instruments for which they search old ladies. This blind veteran, left the airport here in this city, flew to NYC, with a .22 revolver in his camera bag. I talked about this, on talk radio, and one would think SOMEONE would have investigated. From my apartment in Manhattan, I returned to my home here, with 12 pearl handled steak knives in the same camera bag.

Are we so insane, that the Governor of California, who has brought this largest state to its knees with a $24 billion debt, just a few years ago was posing in gay men's magazines as a bodybuilder? Are we so insane, that we are concerned about the 'health and welfare' of the whooping crane and the red headed vulture (among the birds on the federal endangered species list) and care nothing for the 3,000 babies murdered each day in the 'abortion mills' of our nation; any Obama nomination, is someone who totally supports his philosophy of 'anti-life', even the killing of the most innocent, in the most horrendous procedure recorded in history.

I have never understood the willingness of the people of this Democratic Republic to be re-enslaved. Those who fought for the escape from English enslavement, the millions of black-skinned Americans who through segregation and humiliation have finally escaped the enslavement of America. Then, after reopening by President Nixon, I was one of the first Americans to enter communist China. I went through the “Forbidden City”, I went through many of the other palaces of past Dynasties. I saw the 'inner courts' where the rulers controlled the millions of enslaved “coolies” outside the walls; the invention of 'flash powder' and firecrackers, all disillusioned the masses into being scared of those inside the inner city by a 'flash powder abstraction', and that there is a rarity and isolation to power. Even the rulers bound the feet of their women so they could barely hobble around. The same had happened in Egypt, keeping women and slaves separated, 'indolents' of the oppressors. Similar practices have even been an abstraction in Western Civilization, women wearing couture fashions, spiked heels, corsets, enslavement practices to keep people uncomfortable in their life. Many of the orthopedic problems of women come from footwear, dictated by fashion expectations. Fireworks displays do not celebrate those of us who have lived through bombardments, but those who have never experienced war have a peculiar excitement to the insanity of fire power and noise.

Diabolical Satanic forces, the desire for Satan to make us appear as grasshoppers, rather than real men and women, made in the image of God, capable of any accomplishment through His Grace and faith possession is the greatest lesson learned from Moses “CIA” activity. One encounter in the spies 40 day mission was a conversation with Rahab the Harlot, living in Jericho with her family. (the only ones spared when Jericho fell) She informed them that the many people in Jericho knew about the Israelites crossing these bodies of water, on dry land. Miracles never impress the non-believers, as in our nation, the only thing that impresses the non-believer are drugs and deceit. The greatest miracle, known to mankind, is 'sin's ruin and Christ's redemption'. This message has been diminished in the present pulpit. The church has just become another 'country-club', only, with a steeple.
