Addition by Dr. Morris,

If you ask the largest employer in town, or the smallest employer in own, what is your biggest problem these days, recession or not, each one will give the same answer...employees.

I could write a book about employees. Each time I have an opening, we are "flooded" with applicants. Anyone, anywhere, without a job will make an application for any job and, they will ell you anything in order for you to hire them. The resumes are punctuated with the well worn phrases "organized, people person" etc. Today, my last did not show up for work. This is the third "military type" male I have hired recently. I can well understand why we are not winning wars anymore. Today's drop out, in the Air Force Reserves, making his monthly appearance at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, drives a 50,000 dollar car via US Government which gave him $15,000 to enlist in the reserves. Before him, an Iraq veteran, said he was going to the bathroom and never returned. Before him, an Iraq veteran, just walked out the door, stole money from my car (change in the console)...never returned. This totally blind, 100% disabled, service connected veteran, who was a medical officer with the rank of Captain, went into the service making $352 a month...a fortune compared tot he doctors of WWII. The ROTC students out at the university get twice as much each month for their schooling maintenance than the 100% disabled veterans in the area.

This year, so far, 46 teachers have been fired in NC for sexual activity with students and, the "beat goes on". When will the world become alerted to what has happened to the work ethic of this country...recession or not?
