From the Heart

The Sahara Desert in Africa covers 3.5 million square miles (the Arctic covers 4.5 million square miles). I had the marvelous opportunity of flying over much of the Arctic, but entered the Sahara Desert from many directions; Morocco in the North, Sudan in the East, Mali in the South. One can not grasp the vastness of this hot sand until it is experienced. Attached to this, is a photo of a petrified plant which I brought all the way back from the Sahara.

From ancient maps (I understand they are found in Turkey) and from other sources, we know that in the climatic changes of the Earth the Sahara Desert was, at one time, covered with vegetation. It may be of great surprise to the greatest scam artist of the last century (Mr. Al Gore) who has made a reported $20 million trying to alert people about global climate changes (I remember in the 1970's, we were expecting an ice age) that the history of the Earth has been punctuated by great climatic changes and the picture of this petrified plant, which came from many feet down in the Sahara Desert, is certainly proof of these changes.

I am probably the only man foolish enough to haul this heavy, stone plant back to this country; it was displayed in my house for many years as a 'natural sculpture', but was sold on Ebay some years ago. I will not reveal how much I paid for this plant, to the Arab boys thrilled to get the money, for the arduous work of digging down into the Sahara to bring out these petrified plants. From my heart, this old, totally blind, patriot Veteran has attempted to leave behind knowledge which, when I am gone, will be lost forever.

Much younger, with the energy to do so, I spoke almost continuously from lecterns and pulpits, about the truth of our redemption, the patriotism with which we should rejoice, both bought and paid for by precious blood. Slowly, I found that people did not want to hear the truth about their church. There is only one message of the church “Sins ruin and Christ's redemption”. There is only one message of this republic, “The hard fought freedom and opportunity, never afforded another civilization.”

I have said to some of my younger cousins, “Who will tell you about your family, your heritage, when I am gone?” When I was a child, I was always listening, taking in everything that was said by my old relatives, about life as they and their parents had experienced it. My grandmother, who remembered, told me the direction that the Yankees had come toward the house, what had happened during the Civil War invasion, what had happened during the great early 20th century flu epidemic. Much to our sorrow, with technological inventions, young people do not read, do not listen, do not care about their heritage. Integrity has been replaced by corruption and they are only too anxious to inform you of the hypocrisy dominating the lifestyle of the rich and famous, whom they admire.

I have been a regular caller on radio talk shows across the country for many years. In fact, I have been told by the host that I was the most popular caller. This very morning, I received a call from a man in another part of the state who said, “You do not know me from Adam, but I miss hearing you on the radio.” I explained to him, that like this writing I do, that I have done over many years, I feel it is all a waste of my time; no one cares anymore about what the older patriots have to say about their SAVIOR as well as the secular government. But, as one of the outstanding proponents of liberty said to me before he died, “The time will come when they will wish they had listened to you.” Refugees from the paralytic taxation of California, refugees from the decadence of the northern states, move into this area but will tell you, right away, “We care nothing about your past history.”

When I describe the enslavement of southern humanity by the owners of the cotton mills, which dominated life in every southern town, and their company store where the cotton mill workers were supposed to buy their 'needs', when I discuss the tenant farmers trying to survive in shacks, transporting their tobacco or cotton to large auction warehouses where they were 'robbed' by the owners of these warehouses, when I talked of public education, deplorable schoolhouses with one light bulb hanging down from the ceiling, the treatment of black humanity, who, when they went to town, had to park their vehicle or mule-drawn wagon near the courthouse in case they needed to use bathroom facilities, (the only such facilities available to them in the town).

When I spoke of the buying of the votes of these uninformed tenant farmers, mill workers, freed but still enslaved blacks, the finance charges they were subjected to simply because they knew nothing of business activity, the God condemned hypocrisy emanating from 'do-gooder' churches and clubs who knew much about works but little about faith. The 'newcomers' (and they often organize themselves into such a named group) instead of working outside the box, to make needed changes and helping concerned others in making changes, just jumped right into the box with the 'country club' crowd, the chamber of commerce crowd, the Democrat party elitists, all of whom took care of one another, picked the flowers they did not plant, and were perfectly content to exercise capitalism at its worst.

Governors Easley and Hunt, eastern North Carolina tobacco farm-raised politicians, did not learn political patronage after they reached the legislative whore-house in Raleigh. The gingerbread mansion on Blunt Street, except for 8 of the past 100 years, has the been the paradigm, the little schoolhouse, center of motivation, instruction for NC Democrat strategy. In Rome, while Rome burned, Nero played the fiddle. In Raleigh and Washington, while the corrupters were feeding on gourmet foods off gold plates provided by 'smart lobbyists', we peasants, picked dried beans from the vines, but had sense enough to get the corrupted (rotten) ones out of the bag before they were stored for the winter. We cut up our fruits, like apples, using God's good sun to dry them in preparation for winter use. We took corn to the grist mill so we could have cornbread for the winter. We put potatoes into the “potato hill” (large pile of potatoes covered with pine straw and dirt to give protection from the elements and the cold). Whatever money we could make, doing whatever, this went to pay the taxes to support the lifestyle and corrupt activities of these politicians and their bureaucratic cronyism and/or nepotism.

Your employment, with any government position, depended on financial contribution. One black educator (PhD, Ohio State) told me recently, he was informed that he should make a financial contribution if he expected to get a job in education. One school bus driver, went to a BBQ joint to be interviewed by the Democrat controlled operative, in order to get a job driving a bus. My 5th grade teacher, who made $85 a month teaching, changed her political party to Democrat, as did all the others, to get a job. The same type procedure went on with the state highway commission and the prison department.

Do you understand now, why North Carolina state politics is solid Democrat?

Sitting with Governor Terry Sanford, and US Representative L.C. Fountain, I was told as a young man, just returning disabled from the military, that, “NC will always be Democrat because we have the black vote, the vote of every person getting a government check, and the vote of every social minority (unions, gays, etc)”

Do you understand now, why North Carolina state politics is solid Democrat?

Citizens of this state enjoyed good health, as long as they obtained their water from wells. It was only after water systems started extracting water from rivers, into which sewage had been dumped treated by fluoride and chloride, (although the sewage dumped in the river has been treated and all the water taken from the river has been treated) the dangerous chemicals used for (so called sanitation) the mutating viruses, and the complex water molecules, the increased eating of sweets (cancer thrives in a medium of sweetness), we have not only bought into Satanic political intrigue, but the world with its attractiveness has also captivated the religious community. The truth is the truth whether anyone believes it or not. It is time we face the truth in our life activities of health, politics, and the future.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart."
~ Helen Keller (1880-1968)
