Toxic Soup

I visited Pisa, Italy several times in my life, the magnificent cathedral, and of course, the famous baptistry, the leaning tower of Pisa. It was here that astronomy started, 400 years ago when, Galileo, in 1610 used the first telescope in looking at the splendor of the stars. Today, we are still looking through telescopes every day finding new stars almost daily. God's Word, covers it all, in just 5 words, “he made the stars also”. (Genesis 1:16) Today, on the news, an empty headed 22 year old newscaster was lamenting that a rover placed on mars was “stuck in sand”. If she only knew the One who created the stars.

The television program Cosmos was written by Carl Sagan who died at 62. An atheist, he said, “this is all there is; there is nothing else.” Now he knows! But, the best selling science book ever written was his book Cosmos. The greatness of a man, a Galileo or a Sagan would be greater, if either had known the Creator of the universe.

The greatness of a physician would be greater, if, in all his studies, he realized the omniscience of the designer of the human body. (Psalm 139:13)

The greatest pastors and preachers would be greater if they had an intimate knowledge of the One they pretend to present. A new creation is essential in presenting the Creator.

The greatest fathers and mothers would be greater if they realized the importance of clothing their children with a knowledge of the love of God as much as the clothing they buy for them to wear. It is essential that children know that their Creator like their parents loves them more than they could ever love.

The most toxic knowledge that has been kept from the American people in the Obama- inspired culture of death, enabled and promoted by the Democrat party, is that many organizations to which concerned citizens give their hard-earned dollars just turn a part of their gift to Planned Parenthood. Before you contribute to any Democrat, remember he supports the abortion-supporting party, whether he claims to be Pro-Life or not. Jesse Jackson was pro-life until Planned Parenthood contributed to his presidential campaign. In the new so-called health care legislative reforms. new and larger facilities will be provided by the federal government for Planned Parenthood. 1,000,000,000 dollars is spent by Planned Parenthood each year almost entirely on abortions. $300,000,000 of this comes from tax dollars. One of Houston's largest skyscrapers is being converted into a large Planned Parenthood abortion facility. Reportedly, this is being done in large cities across the nation.

Can one even imagine the paradox, the hypocrisy of girl scout cookies being sold by girl scouts and even the YWCA to promote abortions? A part of their income goes to Planned Parenthood.

Other “do gooder” organizations to which concerned citizens contribute, (AARP, National Cancer Society, National Diabetic Association, Salvation Army etc.) contribute a part of their funds that you have contributed to Planned Parenthood. Can one imagine anything more insidious? It is bad enough that our tax dollars are being used in this holocaust, but just think, the United Way contributes part of your giving to the cause of Planned Parenthood. I stopped giving to United Way many years ago after having met Norman Taylor at a reception in New York City. Former directors of United Way, Oral Suer and William Aramony had been convicted of misuse of funds. William Aramony was known for his lavish lifestyle at the expense of your contributions. I have made it a practice not to give to any organization in which the directors live better than I do, in which the preacher or pastor live better than I do, in which the college president or trustees live better than I do. I realize the attitude of servitude is a lost word among many charities. I realize that many individuals, as well as corporations, contribute without first investigating.

How could girl scouts sell cookies to contribute to planned parenthood who's chief mission is the killing of babies? How could grandparents continue membership in AARP? How could parents support Salvation Army? How could cancer survivors support cancer research and at the same time know that a certain part of their contribution will go to Planned Parenthood?

It is reported that Planned Parenthood's goal is for each female, aged 13-19, to have several abortions. When will anyone realize the toxic effect this culture of death is having on the future of our country in so far as taxpaying citizens in the Ponzi scheme of Social Security as well as the psychology of young minds. All of us have not been so desensitized by death and killing to contribute to groups or a political party invested in such.
