Battle Front

Battle is an attention getting word. From the time the greatest General Joshua, successor to Moses, led the children of Israel in their conquest of the Promised Land, battles have generally been named. (Battle of New Orleans, Battle of Gettysburg, etc.) One of the greatest movies of the 20th Century was “Battle of the Bulge”; about the largest battle of WWII. It took place in the forested Ardennes Mountains region of Belgium; 800,000 soldiers involved, 19,000 died. It was probably the final factor in WWII. Thinking of all those gallant warriors, who never left the field of battle, today's citizens would only think of overeating.

As far as I know, I was one of the first American's to enter Manchuria, after the opening of communist China in 1976. When I was leaving the train at Shin Yang (capital of Manchuria and birthplace of Mao) I could sense that there were thousands of people around. I said to my guide, “What are all these people doing here?” She said, “They are here to see you, they have never seen an American before.” I asked the guide one day how many Chinese were in prison. She said, “Very few. Word gets out about our prisons. It is the last place people want to go.” Later, in a Manchurian hospital, a scene which would make an Alfred Hitchcock movie look sensitive, in an operating room theater, I saw prisoners, taped to tables, their eyes and mouths taped, their bodies open down the midsection, vital organs being transplanted from these prisoners to patients. These are battle lines, this shows when the battle has been lost.

Before you become too judgmental about the Chinese however, think what happens in this “Christian” country over 3,000 times everyday, when the most innocent of human life is aborted through the process of tearing the baby apart, drowning the baby with saline solution, or the most horrendous procedure of all, the one for which Dr. Tiller (Tiller the Killer) was most famous, (Secretary of Health and Human Resources, Sebelius' chief supporter) sucking out the brains of the baby just before birth. In the one child per family laws of China, most female babies are aborted or killed shortly after birth; but this is a Godless, communist, totalitarian country.

The black population of the United States is 13%, yet, 30% percent of all abortions are black babies (1,400 per day). The surviving babies, not aborted, are born to single mothers (62%); 55% of all black children grow up in fatherless homes. This is the real battle line for the black church and the black community.

Black, white, rich, poor, learned, unlearned: GET REAL...your faith is being tested daily. If you are not a person of faith, I just wish you luck. The battle lines are being drawn, it will be the home front that will make the difference in your life in the future. Start stocking food for your family, when you have plastic jugs-fill them with water (old water is better than no water. You can always add a few drops of bleach to the water to kill the bacteria before it is used), a person can not live more than a few days without water and food. Katrina was a good example of our un-preparedness. Obviously, the folks at FEMA are just paid to sleep. George W. Bush lost and never regained the presidency after Katrina. Out front, in view of every thinking American, we saw how inept a nation can be in time of emergency. Thousands of people were herded into facilities, which became despicable beyond words, were left there without food or water, and after a few days, well people become sick and sick people die...all become weak and exasperated. After that, after the millions of tax dollars spent on rhetoric, preparedness has not improved. (Homeland Security) It is reported that instead of preparations for care of the dispossessed, politicians plan to 'call caterers' in a similar emergency. The only people who will survive a catastrophe, anymore, are those living in the countryside with their own water wells and hand-pumps, outhouses, and the knowledge of how to dry and preserve food and have enough food in storage for their needs.

Don't test the supremacy of God. He will use evil people, if necessary, to accomplish His purpose. (He will get your attention!) Many believe the Swine Flu (H1N1), which could have been started in a laboratory, will wipe out a large percentage of the world's population. A flu epidemic which I have studied extensively, was the Spanish-American Flu Epidemic of 1918, which hit the community where my parents were reared, so drastically. Over 100 million, world wide, died during this epidemic. The scripture definitely tells us there will be a large disaster on the earth before the return of our Blessed Lord. Bad men read the Bible also. They know about the nuclear weapons, their destruction, national treaties (treaty between Russia and Middle Eastern Arab nations), and how to set this world in a cauldron of chaos for their advantage. Christians know that we will be raptured from the chaos of this world, but it will be necessary to endure until God makes that decision. The Holy Spirit of God is our comforter in these times of battle. As Paul said to the Hebrews: “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:7) (Joshua 1:5) You have the “blessed assurance” of knowing that you are His because the Holy Spirit of God in your very life tells you that you have won the battle.

“He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:10-13)

If education were the answer, we would have it made. During the Great Depression, only 5% of the population were college graduates. Today, nearly 50% of the population of this country are college graduates. When I hear lying, corrupt politicians, when we realize that the retirement pay for a Congressman or Senator averages $61k per year, when YOU realize that most politicians run against the mess they have already made, when you realize the only jobs created in the last administration and the present administration are government jobs, when you realize that when you have government, you have what government can do, when you realize that when you have money, you have what money can do, (the US dollar is now worth 2 cents, since the Federal Reserve took over) when you realize that when you have just government buildings, you have what government buildings can do OR when you have Armies, you have what warfare can do; if you FINALLY realize, that when you have the prayer of God's people, you have what God can do...you must surely come to the conclusion that if there is anything this country needs, it is what GOD can do.

The battle is over. You can sing “Victory in Jesus”.
